Abstract

Interactive control for video generation is moving from coarse prompts toward fine-grained, physically meaningful manipulation of dynamic scenes. Yet existing controllable methods either require the full control schedule before generation starts, or use pixel-space signals that dictate object positions rather than physical dynamics. To address these limitations, we propose PhysStream, an autoregressive model for physics-grounded image-to-video synthesis that incorporates structured scene memory---positional maps and object tracking maps derived online from previously generated frames---and supports fine-grained motion control via sparse velocity-increment signals that encode physical quantities, letting the model learn the underlying dynamics. We train our model in two stages: a bidirectional model is first finetuned with motion-control conditioning, then a causal autoregressive model is trained with additional structured scene memory, further improving physical consistency. PhysStream enables interactive, mid-generation control over multi-object tabletop rigid-body scenes---a capability not supported by prior methods---reducing motion distribution distance (FVMD) by 33% and trajectory error by 12% over the strongest baselines on synthetic benchmarks, and is preferred by human evaluators in over 85% of in-the-wild comparisons. TelePhysics: Physics-Grounded Multi-Object Scene Generation from a Single Image with Real-Time Interaction

Recent generative video models achieve impressive visual quality but remain constrained by limited physical consistency and controllability. Existing video generation methods provide minimal physical control, and single-image-to-3D conversion approaches often suffer from object interpenetration. Furthermore, physics-based scene-level 3D generation methods exhibit spatial misalignment, stylized artifacts, and inconsistencies with the input data, restricting their use in realistic interactive video synthesis. We propose TelePhysics, a training-free framework that converts a single image into a physically consistent and controllable video through holistic scene-level 3D reconstruction. By representing the full scene geometry in a unified spatial coordinate system, TelePhysics resolves object penetration and alignment ambiguity. Unlike prior methods, this formulation enables accurate scenelevel multi-object interactions and introduces richer, complex control types for advanced mechanicsbased manipulation. By decoupling simulation from rendering, TelePhysics bypasses latency-heavy priors, achieving real-time physical interaction previews paired while preserving photorealistic visual fidelity. Experimental results demonstrate that TelePhysics substantially outperforms prior methods in physical fidelity, spatial coherence, and controllability. PhyCo: Learning Controllable Physical Priors for Generative Motion

Modern video diffusion models excel at appearance synthesis but still struggle with physical consistency: objects drift, collisions lack realistic rebound, and material responses seldom match their underlying properties. We present PhyCo, a framework that introduces continuous, interpretable, and physically grounded control into video generation. Our approach integrates three key components: (i) a large-scale dataset of over 100K photorealistic simulation videos where friction, restitution, deformation, and force are systematically varied across diverse scenarios; (ii) physics-supervised fine-tuning of a pretrained diffusion model using a ControlNet conditioned on pixel-aligned physical property maps; and (iii) VLM-guided reward optimization, where a fine-tuned vision-language model evaluates generated videos with targeted physics queries and provides differentiable feedback. This combination enables a generative model to produce physically consistent and controllable outputs through variations in physical attributes-without any simulator or geometry reconstruction at inference. On the Physics-IQ benchmark, PhyCo significantly improves physical realism over strong baselines, and human studies confirm clearer and more faithful control over physical attributes. Our results demonstrate a scalable path toward physically consistent, controllable generative video models that generalize beyond synthetic training environments.

PhysAgent: Reflective Agentic Physics Control for Physically Plausible Video Generation

Recent advances in physics-grounded video generation leverage physics simulation as a physical prior to guide video synthesis toward physically plausible outcomes. The simulation process is controlled by physical specifications, which are typically generated by a vision-language model in a single pass. Such one-shot prediction often fails to accurately translate user intent into executable simulations, particularly for fine-grained object dynamics, complex motion trajectories, and temporally structured interactions. In this paper, we propose PhysAgent, a reflective agentic framework that closes the loop among physical program generation, physics simulation, stage-specific verification, and targeted program repair. Beyond improving the control of coupled physical parameters, our framework enables the agent to progressively realize complex trajectories, multi-stage interactions, and precise event outcomes by treating each physical program as an executable hypothesis. In addition, we design a set of physics-control APIs to support more stable and complex motion behaviors. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PhysAgent produces more physically plausible videos, achieves better prompt alignment, and generalizes more effectively across diverse physical scenarios.
