Human Centered Design

Human-centered design (HCD) prioritizes user needs and experiences throughout the design process, aiming to create systems and technologies that are usable, effective, and trustworthy. Current research emphasizes integrating AI, particularly large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning techniques, to enhance various stages of design, from understanding user needs through to system evaluation and deployment. This focus on AI-assisted HCD is crucial for developing responsible and effective technologies across diverse fields, including manufacturing, data analysis, and healthcare, improving both user experience and system performance.
