Readability Level
Readability level research focuses on quantifying and manipulating the ease with which text can be understood, aiming to improve accessibility and comprehension across diverse audiences. Current research employs large language models (LLMs) like GPT-3 and others, alongside traditional linguistic features and novel algorithms, to assess and control readability in various contexts, including text simplification, summarization, and translation. This work has significant implications for improving the accessibility of information in fields like education, healthcare, and legal documentation, as well as advancing natural language processing techniques.
