Robotic Coach

Robotic coaching is an emerging field exploring the use of robots to deliver personalized behavioral and physical rehabilitation interventions. Current research focuses on developing autonomous systems capable of engaging in natural, empathetic dialogue, adapting to individual needs, and providing effective feedback, often leveraging large language models and dynamic Bayesian networks to process user data and tailor interactions. This work aims to improve the accessibility and effectiveness of coaching across various domains, from mental well-being to physical therapy, with ongoing studies evaluating the impact on user outcomes and the design of appropriate robot-human interaction strategies.
