Robotic Hand

Robotic hand research aims to create dexterous, adaptable robotic manipulators capable of performing complex tasks requiring fine motor skills. Current efforts concentrate on improving grasp planning and control through reinforcement learning, developing advanced tactile sensing for improved feedback and manipulation, and designing more efficient and cost-effective hand architectures, including underactuated designs and novel actuation mechanisms like cable-driven systems. These advancements hold significant potential for applications ranging from assistive robotics and prosthetics to industrial automation and minimally invasive surgery.
