PreCoG: Preview-Edit for Efficient Video Correction in Generation-Time

Iterative text-to-video generation relies on feedback to correct compositional and temporal failures. However, existing methods typically require another full generation run for each correction, repeating computation and potentially disrupting already correct content. We introduce PreCoG, an iterative framework for correcting semantic failures during video generation. PreQA diagnoses failures from low-cost previews and constructs corrective conditions, while PreEdit edits cached generation trajectories under these conditions, attenuating orthogonal changes to limit disruption of already correct content. PreCoG completes generation only for the selected candidate, reusing its cached trajectory to reduce redundant computation and help preserve semantic consistency between the preview and the final video. Experiments show that PreCoG achieves the highest VBench and T2V-CompBench scores and approaches VSR's leading VS2 score at 0.56×0.56\times its inference time. It also outperforms GENMAC on all three quality and alignment metrics at 0.86×0.86\times its inference time.

Weave Forcing: Compositional Memory Routing for Interactive Long Video Generation

Recent advances in autoregressive video generation have improved temporal consistency over extended durations, yet interactive storytelling requires more than continuous scene extension: a new shot may combine characters and backgrounds from different historical shots. Whole prompt retrieval can overlook the distinct reference needs of individual components, while directly combining all historical memories may introduce unrelated visual content. To address these problems, we present Weave Forcing, a training-free framework for compositional memory reuse in interactive long video generation. First, we use an LLM for semantic slot routing to decompose user prompts into character and background descriptions and explicitly select suitable historical references for each component. To isolate the required content, masked memory weaving uses contrasting attention maps conditioned on semantic slots to construct refined semantic masks, selectively exposing relevant tokens from compressed historical KV memories to guide the generation of the current shot. We further introduce coverage adaptive RoPE to adjust temporal offsets and memory retention according to no, partial, or full reference coverage, addressing visual artifacts observed when incomplete historical references are positioned close to the current generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Weave Forcing improves cross-shot subject and background consistency while maintaining competitive visual quality and text alignment.

NoisEasier: Test-Time Noise Optimization for Text-to-Video Generation

Diffusion models have recently advanced text-to-video (T2V) generation, yet they still struggle with fine-grained compositional alignment, such as attribute binding, spatial relations, and object interactions. While reward-based fine-tuning improves alignment, it is susceptible to reward hacking and adapts poorly to new prompt distributions. In this work, we propose NoisEasier, a test-time scaling framework that improves T2V generation through differentiable reward-guided noise optimization without modifying the underlying model. By combining efficient short-step generators with a multi-objective reward formulation, NoisEasier enables stable and practical test-time optimization under realistic inference budgets. Our key insight is that jointly optimizing the entire stochastic trajectory accelerates reward convergence and improves compositional alignment over optimizing only the initial latent, with negligible additional computational and time cost. Experiments on VBench and T2V-CompBench demonstrate consistent improvements across multiple backbones, achieving over 10% average gains on challenging dimensions such as attribute binding, object interaction, and numeracy. Overall, NoisEasier serves as both a flexible alternative and a complementary enhancement to reward-based fine-tuning, establishing test-time scaling as an effective paradigm for controllable text-to-video generation.

Compositional Video Generation via Inference-Time Guidance

Text-to-video diffusion models generate realistic videos, but often fail on prompts requiring fine-grained compositional understanding, such as relations between entities, attributes, actions, and motion directions. We hypothesize that these failures need not be addressed by retraining the generator, but can instead be mitigated by steering the denoising process using the model's own internal grounding signals. We propose CVG, an inference-time guidance method for improving compositional faithfulness in frozen text-to-video models. Our key observation is that cross-attention maps already encode how prompt concepts are grounded across space and time. We train a lightweight compositional classifier on these attention features and use its gradients during early denoising steps to steer the latent trajectory toward the desired composition. Built on a frozen VLM backbone, the classifier transfers across semantically related composition labels rather than relying only on narrow category-specific features. CVG improves compositional generation without modifying the model architecture, fine-tuning the generator, or requiring layouts, boxes, or other user-supplied controls. Experiments on compositional text-to-video benchmarks show improved prompt faithfulness while preserving the visual quality of the underlying generator.

ONE-SHOT: Compositional Human-Environment Video Synthesis via Spatial-Decoupled Motion Injection and Hybrid Context Integration

Recent advances in Video Foundation Models (VFMs) have revolutionized human-centric video synthesis, yet fine-grained and independent editing of subjects and scenes remains a critical challenge. Recent attempts to incorporate richer environment control through rigid 3D geometric compositions often encounter a stark trade-off between precise control and generative flexibility. Furthermore, the heavy 3D pre-processing still limits practical scalability. In this paper, we propose ONE-SHOT, a parameter-efficient framework for compositional human-environment video generation. Our key insight is to factorize the generative process into disentangled signals. Specifically, we introduce a canonical-space injection mechanism that decouples human dynamics from environmental cues via cross-attention. We also propose Dynamic-Grounded-RoPE, a novel positional embedding strategy that establishes spatial correspondences between disparate spatial domains without any heuristic 3D alignments. To support long-horizon synthesis, we introduce a Hybrid Context Integration mechanism to maintain subject and scene consistency across minute-level generations. Experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods, offering superior structural control and creative diversity for video synthesis. OmniWeaving: Towards Unified Video Generation with Free-form Composition and Reasoning

While proprietary systems such as Seedance-2.0 have achieved remarkable success in omni-capable video generation, the academic research community lags far behind: most of its models remain heavily fragmented, and the few existing efforts toward unified video generation still struggle to seamlessly integrate diverse tasks within a single framework. To bridge this gap, we propose OmniWeaving, an omni-level video generation model featuring powerful multimodal composition and reasoning-informed capabilities. By leveraging a massive-scale pretraining dataset that encompasses diverse compositional and reasoning-augmented scenarios, OmniWeaving learns to temporally bind interleaved text, multi-image, and video inputs while acting as an intelligent agent to infer complex user intentions for sophisticated video creation. Furthermore, we introduce IntelligentVBench, the first comprehensive benchmark designed to rigorously assess next-level intelligent unified video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OmniWeaving achieves SoTA performance among open-source academic unified models. The code and model are publicly available. Composing Driving Worlds through Disentangled Control for Adversarial Scenario Generation

A major challenge in autonomous driving is the "long tail" of safety-critical edge cases, which often emerge from unusual combinations of common traffic elements. Synthesizing these scenarios is crucial, yet current controllable generative models provide incomplete or entangled guidance, preventing the independent manipulation of scene structure, object identity, and ego actions. We introduce CompoSIA, a compositional driving video simulator that disentangles these traffic factors, enabling fine-grained control over diverse adversarial driving scenarios. To support controllable identity replacement of scene elements, we propose a noise-level identity injection, allowing pose-agnostic identity generation across diverse element poses, all from a single reference image. Furthermore, a hierarchical dual-branch action control mechanism is introduced to improve action controllability. Such disentangled control enables adversarial scenario synthesis-systematically combining safe elements into dangerous configurations that entangled generators cannot produce. Extensive comparisons demonstrate superior controllable generation quality over state-of-the-art baselines, with a 17% improvement in FVD for identity editing and reductions of 30% and 47% in rotation and translation errors for action control. Furthermore, downstream stress-testing reveals substantial planner failures: across editing modalities, the average collision rate of 3s increases by 173%.

Training-free Motion Factorization for Compositional Video Generation

Compositional video generation aims to synthesize multiple instances with diverse appearance and motion. However, current approaches mainly focus on binding semantics, neglecting to understand diverse motion categories specified in prompts. In this paper, we propose a motion factorization framework that decomposes complex motion into three primary categories: motionlessness, rigid motion, and non-rigid motion. Specifically, our framework follows a planning before generation paradigm. (1) During planning, we reason about motion laws on the motion graph to obtain frame-wise changes in the shape and position of each instance. This alleviates semantic ambiguities in the user prompt by organizing it into a structured representation of instances and their interactions. (2) During generation, we modulate the synthesis of distinct motion categories in a disentangled manner. Conditioned on the motion cues, guidance branches stabilize appearance in motionless regions, preserve rigid-body geometry, and regularize local non-rigid deformations. Crucially, our two modules are model-agnostic, which can be seamlessly incorporated into various diffusion model architectures. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our framework achieves impressive performance in motion synthesis on real-world benchmarks. Code is available at https://github.com/ZixuanWang0525/MF-CVG.

HECTOR: Hybrid Editable Compositional Object References for Video Generation

Real-world videos naturally portray complex interactions among distinct physical objects, effectively forming dynamic compositions of visual elements. However, most current video generation models synthesize scenes holistically and therefore lack mechanisms for explicit compositional manipulation. To address this limitation, we propose HECTOR, a generative pipeline that enables fine-grained compositional control. In contrast to prior methods,HECTOR supports hybrid reference conditioning, allowing generation to be simultaneously guided by static images and/or dynamic videos. Moreover, users can explicitly specify the trajectory of each referenced element, precisely controlling its location, scale, and speed (see Figure1). This design allows the model to synthesize coherent videos that satisfy complex spatiotemporal constraints while preserving high-fidelity adherence to references. Extensive experiments demonstrate that HECTOR achieves superior visual quality, stronger reference preservation, and improved motion controllability compared with existing approaches.

What Drives Compositional Generalization in Visual Generative Models? The Importance of Continuous Training Objectives

Compositional generalization, the ability to generate novel combinations of known concepts, is a key ingredient for visual generative models. Yet, not all mechanisms that enable or inhibit it are fully understood. In this work, we conduct a systematic study of which design choices critically determine compositional generalization in image and video generation. By isolating independent design axes, we identify two key factors strongly associated with compositional success: (i) whether the training objective operates on a discrete or continuous distribution, and (ii) the completeness of conditioning information about constituent factors during training. We also show that relaxing the discrete loss with an auxiliary continuous latent objective can partially recover compositional performance in discrete models like MaskGIT. Our findings, corroborated by diverse compositional tasks and preliminary evidence in world models and LLMs, motivate a shift toward continuous objectives for compositional generalization.
