HEART: Hyperspherical Embedding Alignment via Kent-Representation Traversal in Diffusion Models

Text-to-image diffusion models can generate visually stunning images, yet, controlling what appears and how it appears, remains surprisingly difficult, especially when operating solely within the constraints of the text-conditioning space. For example, changing a subject or adjusting an attribute often leads to unintended side effects, such as altered backgrounds or distorted details. This is because most existing text-based control methods treat the embedding space as Euclidean and apply simple linear transformations, which do not reflect how semantic concepts are actually organized. In this work, we take a step back and ask: what is the true geometry of these embeddings? We find that text encoder representations lie on a hypersphere, where concepts are not linear directions but structured, anisotropic distributions better captured by Kent distributions. Building on this insight, we propose HEART, a training-free framework that performs Kent-aware geodesic transformations directly on the hypersphere. By respecting the underlying geometry, HEART enables intuitive and precise edits, such as consistent subject replacement and fine-grained attribute control, while preserving the original scene. Importantly, HEART requires no finetuning, inversion, or optimization, and generalizes across diffusion model architectures. Our results show that a simple shift in perspective, from linear to spherical, can unlock fast, and controllable image generation.

Inference-Time Attribute Distribution Alignment for Unconditional Diffusion

Inference-time controllable generation is essential for real-world applications of unconditional diffusion models. However, most existing techniques focus on individual samples, struggling in applications that require the sample population to follow specific attribute distributions (e.g., demographic balance or semantic proportions). We formalize this setting as the inference-time attribute distributional alignment problem for pretrained unconditional diffusion models. To address this, we cast inference-time attribute distributional alignment as an optimal control problem over the reverse diffusion process, viewing the process as the rollout of a dynamical system and augmenting it with additive, time-dependent perturbations as control. We solve for the perturbations using an optimal-control-based algorithm to optimize a differentiable distribution-matching objective while penalizing control effort to preserve data fidelity. Experiment results in image generation demonstrate that our proposed plug-and-play approach can better align attribute distributions to diverse and flexible test-time targets compared to baselines, without retraining or finetuning the pretrained diffusion model.

Advancing Aesthetic Image Generation via Composition Transfer

Composition is a cornerstone of visual aesthetics, influencing the appeal of an image. While its principles operate independently of specific content, in practice, composition is often coupled with semantics. As a result, existing methods often enhance composition either through implicit learning or by semantics-based layout control, rather than explicitly modeling composition itself. To address this gap, we introduce Composer, a framework rooted in aesthetic theory, designed to model composition in a semantic-agnostic manner. First, it supports composition transfer by extracting key composition-aware representations from a reference image and leveraging a tailored conditional guidance module to control composition based on pre-trained diffusion models. Second, when users specify only text themes without a composition reference, Composer supports theme-driven composition retrieval by leveraging the in-context learning capabilities of Large Vision-Language Models (LVLMs), achieving explicit composition planning. To enhance composition in a reference-free mode, we conduct text-to-composition fine-tuning on the trained control module to enable implicit composition planning. Furthermore, we curated a high-quality dataset comprising 2 million image-text pairs using state-of-the-art generative models to support model training. Experimental results demonstrate that Composer significantly enhances aesthetic quality in text-to-image tasks and facilitates personalized composition control and transfer, offering users precision and flexibility in the creative process.

Efficient Geometry-Controlled High-Resolution Satellite Image Synthesis

High-resolution satellite images are often scarce and costly, especially for remote areas or infrequent events. This shortage hampers the development and testing of machine learning models for land-cover classification, change detection, and disaster monitoring. In this paper, we tackle the problem of geometry-controlled high-resolution satellite image synthesis by adding control over existing pre-trained diffusion models. We propose a simple yet efficient method for controlling the synthesis process by leveraging only skip connection features using windowed cross-attention modules. Several previously established control techniques are compared, indicating that our method achieves comparable performance while leading to a better alignment with the geometry control map. We also discuss the limitations in current evaluation approaches, amplifying the necessity of a consistent alignment assessment.

JoyAI-Image: Awaking Spatial Intelligence in Unified Multimodal Understanding and Generation

We present JoyAI-Image, a unified multimodal foundation model for visual understanding, text-to-image generation, and instruction-guided image editing. JoyAI-Image couples a spatially enhanced Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM) with a Multimodal Diffusion Transformer (MMDiT), allowing perception and generation to interact through a shared multimodal interface. Around this architecture, we build a scalable training recipe that combines unified instruction tuning, long-text rendering supervision, spatially grounded data, and both general and spatial editing signals. This design gives the model broad multimodal capability while strengthening geometry-aware reasoning and controllable visual synthesis. Experiments across understanding, generation, long-text rendering, and editing benchmarks show that JoyAI-Image achieves state-of-the-art or highly competitive performance. More importantly, the bidirectional loop between enhanced understanding, controllable spatial editing, and novel-view-assisted reasoning enables the model to move beyond general visual competence toward stronger spatial intelligence. These results suggest a promising path for unified visual models in downstream applications such as vision-language-action systems and world models.

Semantic-Structural Alignment for Generative Pictorial Charts

Traditional statistical graphics are precise but often lack the visual appeal, memorability, and engagement of pictorial charts. We present a generative framework for the automated synthesis of pictorial charts that bridges the gap between semantic expression and structural faithfulness. Rather than treating charts merely as images to be stylized, we frame the problem as a dual-conditioned generation task guided by two parallel external control signals: a text prompt capturing the semantic context of the editing intent, and a context image providing the abstract statistical chart's global structure. To reinforce these controls within a Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformer, we introduce two complementary feature-level mechanisms: structural alignment to anchor spatial layouts to the input chart, and semantic alignment to transfer expressive textures from reference images. Generalizing across major visual channels (i.e., length, area, angle, and position) and diverse semantic domains, our method produces pictorial charts that are both artistically compelling and structurally consistent. Extensive quantitative evaluations and perceptual user studies demonstrate that our framework outperforms traditional controllable generation and image editing baselines, providing a foundation for high-fidelity, data-driven generative modeling in expressive visual storytelling. MooD: Perception-Enhanced Efficient Affective Image Editing via Continuous Valence-Arousal Modeling

Affective Image Editing (AIE) aims to modify visual content to evoke targeted emotions. Although current approaches achieve impressive editing quality, they often overlook inference efficiency, which limits their applicability in computational social scenarios. Moreover, most methods depend on discrete emotion representations, which hinder the continuous modeling of complex human emotions and constrain expressive capabilities in interactive scenarios. To tackle these gaps, we propose MooD, the first framework that directly leverages continuous Valence-Arousal (VA) values as editing instruction for fine-grained and efficient AIE in computational social systems. Specifically, we first introduce a VA-Aware retrieval strategy to bridge vague affective values and detailed visual semantics. Building upon this, MooD integrates visual transfer and perception-enhanced semantic guidance to achieve controllable AIE. Furthermore, considering that existing VA-annotated datasets mainly focus on social scenarios and largely overlook natural scenes, we therefore construct AffectSet, a comprehensive VA-annotated dataset covering diverse scenarios, to support model optimization and evaluation. Extensive qualitative and quantitative experimental results demonstrate that our MooD achieves superior performance in both affective controllability and visual fidelity while maintaining high efficiency. A series of ablation studies further reveal the crucial factors of our design.

DataEvolver: Let Your Data Build and Improve Itself via Goal-Driven Loop Agents

Constructing controllable visual data is a major bottleneck for image editing and multimodal understanding. Useful supervision is rarely produced by a single rendering pass; instead it emerges through iterative generation, inspection, correction, filtering, and export. We present DataEvolver, a closed-loop visual data engine that organizes this process around explicit goals, persistent artifacts, bounded corrective actions, and acceptance decisions. DataEvolver supports multiple artifact types, including RGB images, masks, depth maps, normal maps, meshes, poses, trajectories, and review traces. In the current release, the system operates through two coupled loops: generation-time self-correction within each sample and validation-time self-expansion across dataset rounds. We validate the framework on an image-level object-rotation setting. With a fixed Qwen-Edit LoRA probe, our final Ours+DualGate model outperforms both the unadapted base model and a public multi-angle LoRA on SpatialEdit and a held-out evaluation set. Ablations show a consistent improvement path from scene-aware generation to feedback-driven correction and dual-gated validation. Beyond the released rotation data, our main contribution is a reusable framework for building visual datasets through explicit goal tracking, review, correction, and acceptance loops.

SteeringDiffusion: A Bottlenecked Activation Control Interface for Diffusion Models

We introduce SteeringDiffusion, a bottlenecked activation-level control interface for diffusion models that exposes a smooth, monotonic, and runtime-adjustable control surface over the content--style trade-off. Our method keeps the U-Net backbone frozen and learns a small, prompt-conditioned latent code projected to FiLM/AdaGN-style modulation parameters. A zero-initialized design guarantees exact equivalence to the base model at zero scale, while timestep-aware gating restricts modulation to later denoising stages. A single scalar at inference continuously traverses the control surface without retraining. Across experiments on Stable Diffusion~1.5 and SDXL covering multiple artistic styles, we show that SteeringDiffusion produces smooth and monotonic content--style trade-offs. Under matched parameter budgets, it outperforms LoRA in controllability and stability, while ControlNet and rank-1 adapters do not expose a comparable control surface. We further introduce an inversion-stability diagnostic based on DDIM inversion, used as a post-hoc trajectory probe, which reveals strong correlations with intervention magnitude. These results position \emph{Steering Bottlenecked Explicit Control (S-BEC)} as a practical, general-purpose control interface for frozen diffusion backbones.

Colorful-Noise: Training-Free Low-Frequency Noise Manipulation for Color-Based Conditional Image Generation

Text-to-image diffusion models generate images by gradually converting white Gaussian noise into a natural image. White Gaussian noise is well suited for producing diverse outputs from a single text prompt due to its absence of structure. However, this very property limits control over, and predictability of, specific visual attributes, as the noise is not human-interpretable. In this work, we investigate the characteristics of the input noise in diffusion models. We show that, although all frequencies in white Gaussian noise have comparable statistical energy, low-frequency components primarily determine the images global structure and color composition, while high-frequency components control finer details. Building on this observation, we demonstrate that simple manipulations of the low-frequency noise using low-frequency image priors can effectively condition the generation process to reconstruct these low-frequency visual cues. This allows us to define a simple, training-free method with minimal overhead that steers overall image structure and color, while letting high-frequency components freely emerge as fine details, enabling variability across generated outputs.

SEAL: Semantic-aware Single-image Sticker Personalization with a Large-scale Sticker-tag Dataset

Synthesizing a target concept from a single reference image is challenging in diffusion-based personalized text-to-image generation, particularly for sticker personalization where prompts often require explicit attribute edits. With only one reference, test-time fine-tuning (TTF) methods tend to overfit, producing \textit{visual entanglement}, where background artifacts are absorbed into the learned concept, and \textit{structural rigidity}, where the model memorizes reference-specific spatial configurations and loses contextual controllability. To address these issues, we introduce \textbf{SE}mantic-aware single-image sticker person\textbf{AL}ization (\textbf{SEAL}), a plug-and-play, architecture-agnostic adaptation module that integrates into existing personalization pipelines without modifying their U-Net-based diffusion backbones. SEAL applies three components during embedding adaptation: (1) a Semantic-guided Spatial Attention Loss, (2) a Split-merge Token Strategy, and (3) Structure-aware Layer Restriction. To support sticker-domain personalization with attribute-level control, we present StickerBench, a large-scale sticker image dataset with structured tags under a six-attribute schema (Appearance, Emotion, Action, Camera Composition, Style, Background). These annotations provide a consistent interface for varying context while keeping target identity fixed, enabling systematic evaluation of identity disentanglement and contextual controllability. Experiments show that SEAL consistently improves identity preservation while maintaining contextual controllability, highlighting the importance of explicit spatial and structural constraints during test-time adaptation. The code, StickerBench, and project page will be publicly released.

Learning Illumination Control in Diffusion Models

Controlling illumination in images is essential for photography and visual content creation. While closed-source models have demonstrated impressive illumination control, open-source alternatives either require heavy control inputs like depth maps or do not release their data and code. We present a fully open-source and reproducible pipeline for learning illumination control in diffusion models. Our approach builds a data engine that transforms well-lit images into supervised training triplets consisting of a poorly-illuminated input image, a natural language lighting instruction, and a well-illuminated output image. We finetune a diffusion model on this data and demonstrate significant improvements over baseline SD 1.5, SDXL, and FLUX.1-dev models in perceptual similarity, structural similarity, and identity preservation. Our work provides a reproducible solution built entirely with open-source tools and publicly available data. We release all our code, data, and model weights publicly.

Diffusion Templates: A Unified Plugin Framework for Controllable Diffusion

Controllable diffusion methods have substantially expanded the practical utility of diffusion models, but they are typically developed as isolated, backbone-specific systems with incompatible training pipelines, parameter formats, and runtime hooks. This fragmentation makes it difficult to reuse infrastructure across tasks, transfer capabilities across backbones, or compose multiple controls within a single generation pipeline. We present Diffusion Templates, a unified and open plugin framework that decouples base-model inference from controllable capability injection. The framework is organized around three components: Template models that map arbitrary task-specific inputs to an intermediate capability representation, a Template cache that functions as a standardized interface for capability injection, and a Template pipeline that loads, merges, and injects one or more Template caches into the base diffusion runtime. Because the interface is defined at the systems level rather than tied to a specific control architecture, heterogeneous capability carriers such as KV-Cache and LoRA can be supported under the same abstraction. Based on this design, we build a diverse model zoo spanning structural control, brightness adjustment, color adjustment, image editing, super-resolution, sharpness enhancement, aesthetic alignment, content reference, local inpainting, and age control. These case studies show that Diffusion Templates can unify a broad range of controllable generation tasks while preserving modularity, composability, and practical extensibility across rapidly evolving diffusion backbones. All resources will be open sourced, including code, models, and datasets.

Knowledge Visualization: A Benchmark and Method for Knowledge-Intensive Text-to-Image Generation

Recent text-to-image (T2I) models have demonstrated impressive capabilities in photorealistic synthesis and instruction following. However, their reliability in knowledge-intensive settings remains largely unexplored. Unlike natural image generation, knowledge visualization requires not only semantic alignment but also strict adherence to domain knowledge, structural constraints, and symbolic conventions, exposing a critical gap between visual plausibility and scientific correctness. To systematically study this problem, we introduce KVBench, a curriculum-grounded benchmark for evaluating knowledge-intensive T2I generation. KVBench covers six senior high-school subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Geography, History, Mathematics, and Physics. The benchmark consists of 1,800 expert-curated prompts derived from over 30 authoritative textbooks. Using this benchmark, we evaluate 14 state-of-the-art open- and closed-source models, revealing substantial deficiencies in logical reasoning, symbolic precision, and multilingual robustness, with open-source models consistently underperforming proprietary systems. To address these limitations, we further propose KE-Check, a two-stage framework that improves scientific fidelity via (1) Knowledge Elaboration for structured prompt enrichment, and (2) Checklist-Guided Refinement for explicit constraint enforcement through violation identification and constraint-guided editing. KE-Check effectively mitigates scientific hallucinations, narrowing the performance gap between open-source and leading closed-source models. Data and codes are publicly available at https://github.com/zhaoran66/KVBench.

Camera Control for Text-to-Image Generation via Learning Viewpoint Tokens

Current text-to-image models struggle to provide precise camera control using natural language alone. In this work, we present a framework for precise camera control with global scene understanding in text-to-image generation by learning parametric camera tokens. We fine-tune image generation models for viewpoint-conditioned text-to-image generation on a curated dataset that combines 3D-rendered images for geometric supervision and photorealistic augmentations for appearance and background diversity. Qualitative and quantitative experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art accuracy while preserving image quality and prompt fidelity. Unlike prior methods that overfit to object-specific appearance correlations, our viewpoint tokens learn factorized geometric representations that transfer to unseen object categories. Our work shows that text-vision latent spaces can be endowed with explicit 3D camera structure, offering a pathway toward geometrically-aware prompts for text-to-image generation. Third, beyond apparel try-on, our model supports flexible multi-image composition (up to 6 reference images) across 8 fashion categories, with coordinated control over person identity and background. Fourth, to overcome the latency bottlenecks of commercial deployment, our system is heavily optimized for inference speed, delivering near real-time generation for a seamless user experience. These capabilities are enabled by an integrated system design spanning end-to-end model architecture, a scalable data engine, robust infrastructure, and a multi-stage training paradigm. Extensive evaluation and large-scale product deployment demonstrate that Tstars-Tryon1.0 achieves leading overall performance. To support future research, we also release a comprehensive benchmark. The model has been deployed at an industrial scale on the Taobao App, serving millions of users with tens of millions of requests.

SmartPhotoCrafter: Unified Reasoning, Generation and Optimization for Automatic Photographic Image Editing

Traditional photographic image editing typically requires users to possess sufficient aesthetic understanding to provide appropriate instructions for adjusting image quality and camera parameters. However, this paradigm relies on explicit human instruction of aesthetic intent, which is often ambiguous, incomplete, or inaccessible to non-expert users. In this work, we propose SmartPhotoCrafter, an automatic photographic image editing method which formulates image editing as a tightly coupled reasoning-to-generation process. The proposed model first performs image quality comprehension and identifies deficiencies by the Image Critic module, and then the Photographic Artist module realizes targeted edits to enhance image appeal, eliminating the need for explicit human instructions. A multi-stage training pipeline is adopted: (i) Foundation pretraining to establish basic aesthetic understanding and editing capabilities, (ii) Adaptation with reasoning-guided multi-edit supervision to incorporate rich semantic guidance, and (iii) Coordinated reasoning-to generation reinforcement learning to jointly optimize reasoning and generation. During training, SmartPhotoCrafter emphasizes photo-realistic image generation, while supporting both image restoration and retouching tasks with consistent adherence to color- and tone-related semantics. We also construct a stage-specific dataset, which progressively builds reasoning and controllable generation, effective cross-module collaboration, and ultimately high-quality photographic enhancement. Experiments demonstrate that SmartPhotoCrafter outperforms existing generative models on the task of automatic photographic enhancement, achieving photo-realistic results while exhibiting higher tonal sensitivity to retouching instructions. UniCSG: Unified High-Fidelity Content-Constrained Style-Driven Generation via Staged Semantic and Frequency Disentanglement

Style transfer must match a target style while preserving content semantics. DiT-based diffusion models often suffer from content-style entanglement, leading to reference-content leakage and unstable generation. We present UniCSG, a unified framework for content-constrained, style-driven generation in both text-guided and reference-guided settings. UniCSG employs staged training: (i) a latent-space semantic disentanglement stage that combines low-frequency preprocessing with conditioning corruption to encourage content-style separation, and (ii) a latent-space frequency-aware detail reconstruction stage that refines details via multi-scale frequency supervision. We further incorporate pixel-space reward learning to align latent objectives with perceptual quality after decoding. Experiments demonstrate improved content faithfulness, style alignment, and robustness in both settings.

Beyond Text Prompts: Precise Concept Erasure through Text-Image Collaboration

Text-to-image generative models have achieved impressive fidelity and diversity, but can inadvertently produce unsafe or undesirable content due to implicit biases embedded in large-scale training datasets. Existing concept erasure methods, whether text-only or image-assisted, face trade-offs: textual approaches often fail to fully suppress concepts, while naive image-guided methods risk over-erasing unrelated content. We propose TICoE, a text-image Collaborative Erasing framework that achieves precise and faithful concept removal through a continuous convex concept manifold and hierarchical visual representation learning. TICoE precisely removes target concepts while preserving unrelated semantic and visual content. To objectively assess the quality of erasure, we further introduce a fidelity-oriented evaluation strategy that measures post-erasure usability. Experiments on multiple benchmarks show that TICoE surpasses prior methods in concept removal precision and content fidelity, enabling safer, more controllable text-to-image generation. TokenLight: Precise Lighting Control in Images using Attribute Tokens

This paper presents a method for image relighting that enables precise and continuous control over multiple illumination attributes in a photograph. We formulate relighting as a conditional image generation task and introduce attribute tokens to encode distinct lighting factors such as intensity, color, ambient illumination, diffuse level, and 3D light positions. The model is trained on a large-scale synthetic dataset with ground-truth lighting annotations, supplemented by a small set of real captures to enhance realism and generalization. We validate our approach across a variety of relighting tasks, including controlling in-scene lighting fixtures and editing environment illumination using virtual light sources, on synthetic and real images. Our method achieves state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative performance compared to prior work. Remarkably, without explicit inverse rendering supervision, the model exhibits an inherent understanding of how light interacts with scene geometry, occlusion, and materials, yielding convincing lighting effects even in traditionally challenging scenarios such as placing lights within objects or relighting transparent materials plausibly. FiRe: Fine-grained Multimodal Reasoning for Enhanced Image Generation

With the rapid progress of Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs), unified MLLMs that jointly perform image understanding and generation have advanced significantly. However, despite the inherent reasoning capabilities of unified MLLMs for self-reflection and self-refinement, their use in text-to-image generation remains largely underexplored. Meanwhile, existing multimodal reasoning-based image generation methods mostly rely on prompt augmentation or holistic image-text alignment judgments, without fine-grained reflection and refinement of detailed prompt attributes, leading to limited fine-grained control. To address this limitation, we propose FiRe, a Fine-grained Multimodal Reasoning method for enhanced image generation by MLLM. In specific, FiRe performs a fine-grained multi-step reasoning by first decomposing the prompt into key visual requirements and then self-judging their satisfaction in the generated image, followed by localized refinement according to self-generated precise feedback. In addition, to further strengthen the MLLM's multimodal reasoning ability, we introduce FiRe-GRPO, a reinforcement learning method tailored to FiRe. Since standard Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) suffers from sparse, outcome-based rewards in multi-step reasoning, we formulate our reasoning process as a step-level decision-making problem, design step-specific rewards, and compute step-level advantages for granular credit assignment within GRPO. Extensive experiments demonstrate that FiRe consistently outperforms competitive text-to-image baselines, including existing reasoning-based methods, with particularly substantial gains on compositional text-to-image benchmarks. TerraDiT: Point-Conditioned Diffusion Transformer for Satellite Image Synthesis

We introduce TerraDiT, a diffusion transformer designed for text-to-satellite image generation with point-based control. Existing controlled satellite image generative models often require pixel-level maps that are time-consuming to acquire, yet semantically limited. To address this limitation, we introduce a novel point-based conditioning framework that controls the generation process through the spatial location of the points and the textual description associated with each point, providing semantically rich control signals. This approach enables flexible, annotation-friendly, and computationally simple inference for satellite image generation. To this end, we introduce an adaptive local attention mechanism that effectively regularizes the attention scores based on the input point queries. We systematically evaluate various domain-specific design choices for training TerraDiT, including the selection of satellite image representation for alignment and geolocation representation for conditioning. Our experiments demonstrate that TerraDiT achieves impressive generation performance, surpassing the state-of-the-art remote sensing generative models. Our models, dataset, and code are available at https://github.com/mvrl/TerraDiT.

General and Efficient Steering of Diffusion Models

Steering diffusion models toward conditions unseen during training typically requires either retraining with conditional inputs or per-step gradient computations, both of which incur substantial computational overhead. We present Noise-Aligned RFM Steering (NA-RFM), a general recipe for efficiently steering diffusion models without gradient guidance during inference, enabling fast controllable generation. The method combines two offline-computed signals: noise alignment, a high-noise correction from PCA statistics of the target examples and the full data, and Recursive Feature Machine (RFM) activation steering, which learns a target-discriminative direction from labeled forward-process activations. During sampling, noise alignment provides coarse control at high noise, while the RFM direction is reused over intermediate/late timesteps through lightweight activation edits. Experiments on CIFAR-10, ImageNet, CelebA, and fine-grained bird species show improved target accuracy over gradient-based post-hoc guidance baselines, improved FID on the class-guidance benchmarks, and substantial inference speedups. Hierarchical Concept-to-Appearance Guidance for Multi-Subject Image Generation

Multi-subject image generation aims to synthesize images that faithfully preserve the identities of multiple reference subjects while following textual instructions. However, existing methods often suffer from identity inconsistency and limited compositional control, as they rely on diffusion models to implicitly associate text prompts with reference images. In this work, we propose Hierarchical Concept-to-Appearance Guidance (CAG), a framework that provides explicit, structured supervision from high-level concepts to fine-grained appearances. At the conceptual level, we introduce a VAE dropout training strategy that randomly omits reference VAE features, encouraging the model to rely more on robust semantic signals from a Visual Language Model (VLM) and thereby promoting consistent concept-level generation in the absence of complete appearance cues. At the appearance level, we integrate the VLM-derived correspondences into a correspondence-aware masked attention module within the Diffusion Transformer (DiT). This module restricts each text token to attend only to its matched reference regions, ensuring precise attribute binding and reliable multi-subject composition. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on the multi-subject image generation, substantially improving prompt following and subject consistency.

Dynamics-Inspired Diffusion for Foreground-Preserving Document Background Editing

We revisit diffusion-based generation for structured visual content and identify a fundamental limitation of existing approaches: foreground preservation and background stylization are typically enforced through external interventions, such as hard masking or corrective post-processing, rather than arising from the generative process itself. Here, we define background as the generative content outside designated foreground regions (e.g., text and layout elements), while preserving the structural integrity of the foreground. We propose a dynamical systems perspective on diffusion, in which controllable generation is formulated as trajectory shaping in latent space. Under this view, we introduce Auxiliary Context Diffusion (ACD), a state-space control framework that integrates heterogeneous signals (layout-derived foreground indicators, document summaries, and style representations) directly into the diffusion dynamics. This formulation induces time-scale separation in the generative process, where foreground regions become dynamically stabilized while background regions remain expressive. To address stylistic drift across multi-page documents, we further introduce style directions as persistent latent constraints that guide diffusion trajectories within a shared stylistic subspace. Unlike prior approaches that entangle style with prompt conditioning, our formulation enables reusable and consistent style control across pages. We validate the proposed perspective through controlled experiments on synthetic document benchmarks, demonstrating that trajectory-level control provides a unified and extensible mechanism for structured generation without retraining, hard masking, or corrective post-processing. These results suggest a new direction for controllable diffusion in document-centric and multimodal applications.

Knowledge-Embedded and Hypernetwork-Guided Few-Shot Substation Meter Defect Image Generation Method

Substation meters play a critical role in monitoring and ensuring the stable operation of power grids, yet their detection of cracks and other physical defects is often hampered by a severe scarcity of annotated samples. To address this few-shot generation challenge, we propose a novel framework that integrates Knowledge Embedding and Hypernetwork-Guided Conditional Control into a Stable Diffusion pipeline, enabling realistic and controllable synthesis of defect images from limited data. First, we bridge the substantial domain gap between natural-image pre-trained models and industrial equipment by fine-tuning a Stable Diffusion backbone using DreamBooth-style knowledge embedding. This process encodes the unique structural and textural priors of substation meters, ensuring generated images retain authentic meter characteristics. Second, we introduce a geometric crack modeling module that parameterizes defect attributes--such as location, length, curvature, and branching pattern--to produce spatially constrained control maps. These maps provide precise, pixel-level guidance during generation. Third, we design a lightweight hypernetwork that dynamically modulates the denoising process of the diffusion model in response to the control maps and high-level defect descriptors, achieving a flexible balance between generation fidelity and controllability. Extensive experiments on a real-world substation meter dataset demonstrate that our method substantially outperforms existing augmentation and generation baselines. It reduces Frechet Inception Distance (FID) by 32.7%, increases diversity metrics, and--most importantly--boosts the mAP of a downstream defect detector by 15.3% when trained on augmented data. The framework offers a practical, high-quality data synthesis solution for industrial inspection systems where defect samples are rare.

Pro-Pose: Unpaired Full-Body Portrait Synthesis via Canonical UV Maps

Photographs of people taken by professional photographers typically present the person in beautiful lighting, with an interesting pose, and flattering quality. This is unlike common photos people take of themselves in uncontrolled conditions. In this paper, we explore how to canonicalize a person's 'in-the-wild' photograph into a controllable, high-fidelity avatar -- reposed in a simple environment with standardized minimal clothing. A key challenge is preserving the person's unique whole-body identity, facial features, and body shape while stripping away the complex occlusions of their original garments. While a large paired dataset of the same person in varied clothing and poses would simplify this, such data does not exist. To that end, we propose two key insights: 1) Our method transforms the input photo into a canonical full-body UV space, which we couple with a novel reposing methodology to model occlusions and synthesize novel views. Operating in UV space allows us to decouple pose from appearance and leverage massive unpaired datasets. 2) We personalize the output photo via multi-image finetuning to ensure robust identity preservation under extreme pose changes. Our approach yields high-quality, reposed portraits that achieve strong quantitative performance on real-world imagery, providing an ideal, clean biometric canvas that significantly improves the fidelity of downstream applications like Virtual Try-On (VTO).

CountLoop: Training-Free High-Instance Image Generation via Iterative Agent Guidance

Diffusion models excel at photorealistic synthesis but struggle with object count fidelity, especially in high-density settings. We introduce COUNTLOOP, a training-free framework that achieves structured instance and count control through iterative, structured feedback. Our method alternates between synthesis and evaluation: a VLM-based planner generates structured scene layouts, while a VLM-based critic provides explicit feedback on object counts, spatial arrangements, and visual quality to refine the layout iteratively. Instance-driven attention masking and cumulative attention composition further prevent semantic leakage, ensuring clear object separation even in densely occluded scenes. Evaluations on COCO-Count, T2I-CompBench, and two newly introduced high instance benchmarks show that COUNTLOOP reduces counting error by up to 57% and achieves the highest or comparable spatial quality scores across all benchmarks, while maintaining photorealism.
