Abstract

Accurate interpretation of street-level imagery is essential for large-scale urban mapping and the creation of Spatial Digital Twin (SDT) environments. This work presents a unified framework for joint 2D-3D segmentation and association that integrates visual semantics with multi-view geometric reasoning. Unlike conventional approaches that rely heavily on sequential frames for temporal tracking, our method leverages zero-shot detection and segmentation together with structure-from-motion reconstruction to establish stable cross-view correspondences. A 3D-driven association mechanism replaces traditional 2D multi-object tracking, using geometric consistency to guide identity preservation across wide-baseline viewpoints and varying imaging conditions. By combining 2D texture cues with global 3D context, the proposed pipeline is well-suited for scalable street-level processing and can be used for a variety of object types. Experiments demonstrate substantially improved coverage of ground-truth sequences and more robust identity retention compared to state-of-the-art 2D-only tracking methods, achieving a 22% performance gain in challenging urban scenarios.

G2^2TAM: Geometry Grounded Track Anything Model

Human spatial understanding arises from jointly perceiving geometry and semantics, enabling consistent object identification and localization across viewpoints and time. Current video segmentation models depend on explicit object appearance memory banks for instance tracking, yet they remain vulnerable to large viewpoint changes and long-term occlusions. Leveraging the spatial consistency afforded by modern feed-forward 3D reconstruction models, we propose the Geometry Grounded Tracking Anything Model (G2^2TAM), a unified framework for promptable instance tracking in 3D using only unordered RGB images or videos. G2^2TAM employs spatially aligned geometric representations as implicit memory, ensuring stable instance identity and localization across frames and views. At its core is a cross-modal spatial encoder that integrates visual and textual prompts into a shared geometric space, enabling end-to-end spatial reconstruction and instance-consistent mask prediction. To support training and evaluation, we construct InsTrack, a large-scale dataset with a dedicated validation split for benchmarking. Extensive experiments show that G2^2TAM delivers strong cross-view consistency, promptable instance spatial tracking, video object segmentation and spatial reconstruction, establishing a foundation for interactive, geometry-grounded spatial reasoning.

VGGT-CD: Training-Free Robust Registration for 3D Change Detection

3D change detection from multi-view images is essential for urban monitoring, disaster assessment, and autonomous driving. However, existing methods predominantly operate in the 2D domain, where viewpoint variations are mistaken for physical changes and depth is unavailable. While visual geometry foundation models like VGGT rapidly produce dense point clouds from unposed images, independent per-epoch reconstruction encounters fundamental obstacles: unpredictable inter-epoch scale ambiguity, registration-change paradox where scene changes corrupt alignment, and pervasive edge-flying noise. To address these challenges, we present VGGT-CD, a training-free pipeline decoupling cross-temporal registration from dynamic-change interference. In the Coarse Stage, sparse keyframe joint inference establishes a unified metric space and yields an initial Sim(3) prior. In the Fine Stage, dense reconstructions are purified by isolating static-background correspondences. A closed-form centroid alignment refines the translation while locking scale and rotation, using a residual self-check to mathematically guarantee non-degradation. Evaluated on an 11-scene benchmark from the World Across Time dataset, VGGT-CD reduces Absolute Trajectory Error by 44% outdoors and 59% indoors. It completes registration over 6 times faster, producing high-purity 3D change maps without task-specific training.

Beyond 2D Matching: A Unified Single-Stage Framework for Geometry-Aware Cross-View Object Geo-Localization

Cross-view object geo-localization (CVOGL) aims to locate a target object from a query view (e.g., ground or drone) within a geo-tagged reference image (e.g., satellite). Existing approaches heavily rely on 2D appearance matching and are constrained by limited datasets lacking geometric metadata, diverse prompts, and standard field-of-view imagery. To address these intertwined challenges, we first introduce \dataset, a large-scale, high-fidelity building dataset comprising over 220,000 ground-satellite and drone-satellite pairs. It provides multi-modal prompts (points, boxes, masks) and camera poses to enable flexible target referring and explicit spatial modeling. Furthermore, we propose a novel single-stage Geometry-Aware Geo-localization framework (GAGeo), built upon the permutation-equivariant 3D foundation model π3π^3. By seamlessly integrating visual features, referring prompts, and learnable task tokens, our model adapts the inherited 3D prior to jointly predict bounding boxes, segmentation masks, and camera poses in a single forward pass. Additionally, we introduce a contrastive loss that utilizes the satellite view as a universal anchor, implicitly aligning ground and drone representations to enable zero-shot ground-to-drone localization without requiring triplet training data. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods, exhibiting exceptional generalization ability in unseen scenes and novel cross-view setups.
