Abstract

Recovering an object's 3D structure and camera motion from a few uncalibrated views is a fundamental problem in computer vision. Classical structure from motion methods recover 3D geometry consistent with the input images but cannot recover unseen regions; native generation methods produce plausible 3D objects which are related but not necessarily faithful to the input images. Methods simply concatenating reconstruction and generation allow error to cascade across the two stages, instead of producing a 3D object consistent with both the distribution and the input. We propose GenSfM, which integrates image-based 3D reconstruction with a native 3D diffusion model. In particular, we use a multi-modal diffusion transformer to jointly denoise the shape latent and per-view pose latents under shared self-attention, grounding generated geometry in the observed views while using object-level priors to infer unobserved regions. A compact 3D-native UV-volume tokenization keeps the joint sequence small as views are added, and a pose-aware stage refines geometry and texture by sampling per-voxel image features at the recovered camera poses. On Toys4k and GSO, for 44 uncalibrated views, GenSfM improves novel-view PSNR by 3.23.2-4.54.5 dB and reduces median Chamfer distance by 2.82.8-3.8×3.8\times over a strong native-3D generation baseline, while recovering input-view poses over 96%96\% Acc@5∘5^\circ without any external pose-estimation backbone, post-hoc optimization, or known intrinsics. GenIA: Generative Reconstruction with Test-Time Input Alignment

Reconstructing complete 3D object assets from monocular or sparse multi-view observations remains challenging. Generative 3D foundation models can complete object geometry beyond the observed views, but their predictions may not faithfully reproduce the observed geometry, appearance, or pose. We introduce GenIA, a framework for test-time input-aligned generation that grounds SAM3D's generative prior in geometric and photometric observations without retraining the foundation model. We improve object pose by deriving translation and scale from geometry while retaining the learned rotation prior, and align appearance through visibility-biased attention, cross-observation fusion, and differentiable rendering guidance during denoising. An optional post-denoising refinement further adapts the appearance latent, lightweight decoder adapters, and object placement to the observations. Our framework also supports externally supplied geometry; when given temporal shapes of dynamic objects, it recovers a shared, input-aligned canonical appearance and stable world-space placement. Across synthetic and real benchmarks, GenIA improves pose prediction and object reconstruction from monocular, multi-view, and dynamic inputs, outperforming recent optimization-based, per-frame image-to-3D, and video-to-4D methods. UniForge3D: Joint 3D Reconstruction and Generation in a Shared Anchor-Guided Space

Generating complete 3D assets from sparse, unposed images requires preserving observed geometry while completing unseen regions. Joint reconstruction and generation offers a way to address both goals: reconstruction recovers the geometry observed in the input images, while generation contributes learned shape priors. However, combining camera-relative reconstruction with canonical-space generation introduces a coordinate mismatch that makes direct geometric interaction more difficult. Moreover, conditioning each 3D location on all views without accounting for their relevance may mix useful geometric evidence with unrelated image content, hindering local detail recovery. We present UniForge3D, which jointly models reconstruction and generation in a shared anchor-guided space, resolving their coordinate mismatch. This space follows the anchor view's azimuth while keeping the object upright. The two branches exchange features bidirectionally to predict per-view point maps and a complete sparse voxel structure. We further condition point-map prediction on the generated structure to establish pixel-to-voxel correspondences and select the most informative input view for each voxel. Features from the selected views then guide detailed shape generation, helping preserve observed geometric details. Our method achieves state-of-the-art appearance and geometry results on Toys4K and GSO, generating complete 3D assets with improved fidelity. MV-SAM3D: Adaptive Multi-View Fusion for Layout-Aware 3D Generation

Recent unified 3D generation models have made remarkable progress in producing high-quality 3D assets from a single image. Notably, layout-aware approaches such as SAM3D can reconstruct multiple objects while preserving their spatial arrangement, opening the door to practical scene-level 3D generation. However, current methods are limited to single-view input and cannot leverage complementary multi-view observations, while independently estimated object poses often lead to physically implausible layouts such as interpenetration and floating artifacts. We present MV-SAM3D, a training-free framework that extends layout-aware 3D generation with multi-view consistency and physical plausibility. We formulate multi-view fusion as a Multi-Diffusion process in 3D latent space and propose two adaptive weighting strategies -- attention-entropy weighting and visibility weighting -- that enable confidence-aware fusion, ensuring each viewpoint contributes according to its local observation reliability. For multi-object composition, we introduce physics-aware optimization that injects collision and contact constraints both during and after generation, yielding physically plausible object arrangements. Experiments on standard benchmarks and real-world multi-object scenes demonstrate significant improvements in reconstruction fidelity and layout plausibility, all without any additional training.
