Cognitive Process
Cognitive process research investigates how humans acquire, process, and utilize information, focusing on understanding the underlying mechanisms of thought, reasoning, and decision-making. Current research employs various computational models, including neural networks (like Transformers and LSTMs), and active inference frameworks, to simulate and analyze cognitive processes such as language comprehension, reasoning, and decision-making in both healthy individuals and those with conditions like dyslexia. This work aims to bridge the gap between human and artificial intelligence, informing the development of more human-like AI systems and offering insights into the neural correlates of cognition, ultimately advancing our understanding of the human mind and its capabilities.
