Geometry Editing

Geometry editing research focuses on developing methods for manipulating the shape and appearance of images and 3D models, aiming for high fidelity and user-friendly interaction. Current efforts concentrate on leveraging deep learning models, including diffusion models and neural radiance fields (NeRFs), to achieve fine-grained control over geometry and texture, often incorporating techniques like differentiable rendering and latent space manipulation for efficient and intuitive editing. These advancements are significant for various applications, such as 3D modeling software, image editing tools, and computer-generated imagery (CGI), enabling more efficient and creative content creation.
