Image Signal Processor
Image Signal Processors (ISPs) are crucial components in digital cameras, converting raw sensor data into visually appealing RGB images. Current research focuses on replacing traditional, handcrafted ISPs with deep learning-based models, exploring architectures like transformers and employing techniques such as masked autoencoders and dynamic parameter control to improve image quality, efficiency, and adaptability across diverse camera models and imaging conditions. This research aims to enhance image quality, enable new applications like multi-device color rendition and moire pattern removal, and ultimately improve the user experience in computational photography.
