Mechanical Mind
"Mechanical mind" research explores the parallels and divergences between artificial intelligence (AI) systems, particularly large language models (LLMs), and human cognition. Current investigations utilize comparative methodologies, analyzing how LLMs process information, learn language, and generate responses, often contrasting these processes with human cognitive development and embodied experience. This work aims to improve our understanding of both human and artificial intelligence, potentially leading to more human-like AI and informing fields like human-robot interaction and historical psychology through techniques like contextualized construct representation.
