ImmersiveTTS: Environment-Aware Text-to-Speech with Multimodal Diffusion Transformer and Domain-Specific Representation Alignment

Recent advancements in text-guided audio generation have yielded promising results in diverse domains, including sound effects, speech, and music. However, jointly generating speech with environmental audio remains challenging due to the inherent disparities in their acoustic patterns and temporal dynamics. We propose ImmersiveTTS, an environment-aware text-to-speech (TTS) model that generates natural speech seamlessly integrated within environmental contexts by explicitly modeling cross-modal interactions. Our model builds on a multimodal diffusion transformer and fuses transcript-aligned speech latent with text-conditioned environmental context via joint attention. To enhance semantic consistency, we introduce a domain-specific representation alignment objective tailored to environment-aware TTS, leveraging complementary self-supervised representations from speech and audio encoders. Experimental results show that ImmersiveTTS achieves higher naturalness, intelligibility, and audio fidelity than existing approaches across objective metrics and human listening tests.

Dex2HOI: Dexterous Bimanual Two-Object Interaction Generation

Recent advances in 4D Human-Object Interaction (HOI) generation have enabled increasingly realistic motion synthesis, particularly for single-object manipulation. Yet current research overlooks an inherent property of human behavior: people naturally coordinate both hands and manipulate multiple objects simultaneously. To address this gap, we present Dex2HOI, a unified diffusion model for single- and two-object HOI synthesis from text. At its core, Dex2HOI employs a Dual-Stream Diffusion approach, where each object is processed in a dedicated interaction stream and coordinated through bidirectional cross-attention. To synthesize the final motion, we introduce a Motion Fusion Network integrated with novel hand-relative object representations and contact-aware conditioning applied across the whole sequence. By sampling the diffusion process autoregressively over prefix-conditioned windows, Dex2HOI generates arbitrarily long sequences at real-time speed omitting redundant test-time optimization, achieving up to x540 inference speed-up over prior state-of-the-art methods. Extensive evaluation on both single- and two-object benchmarks demonstrates state-of-the-art quantitative results, marking a step beyond conventional single-object HOI generation and toward expressive multi-object manipulation. Native Audio-Visual Alignment for Generation

Joint audio-video generation aims to synthesize temporally synchronized and semantically coherent visual-acoustic content. However, existing open-source methods mainly rely on either dual-tower designs with posterior alignment or fully unified tri-modal designs that mix textual context, audio and video in one shared space. The former weakens fine-grained audio-video co-evolution, while the latter couples semantic conditioning with low-level synchronization. To address these limitations, we propose NAVA, a Native Audio-Visual Alignment framework for joint audio-video generation. NAVA is built upon context-conditioned native audio-visual alignment: it first establishes audio-video correspondence in a dedicated interaction space, and then uses external context to condition the joint denoising process. Specifically, NAVA is instantiated with an Align-then-Fuse MMDiT architecture, which transitions from modality-aware audio-video alignment to modality-shared joint denoising. Furthermore, we introduce Timbre-in-Context Conditioning to associate reference timbre cues with corresponding speech spans to achieve controllable speech timbre. Experiments on Verse-Bench and Seed-TTS, together with a user study, demonstrate that NAVA achieves superior video quality, precise audio-visual synchronization, competitive audio quality, and stronger reference-timbre controllability using only 6.3B parameters.

Masked Diffusion Vision-Language Models for Temporal Action Localization

Temporal action localization (TAL) requires recognizing the target event and localizing its start and end times precisely in untrimmed videos. Recent vision-language formulations improve semantic reasoning and support language-conditioned outputs, but their autoregressive decoders still generate tokens from left to right, preventing later semantic evidence from revising earlier timestamp predictions. We adapt masked diffusion vision-language models (MDVLMs) to TAL so that semantic tokens and boundary tokens remain editable throughout iterative denoising with bidirectional attention, allowing temporal boundaries and semantic content to be refined jointly. Direct adaptation, however, creates two TAL-specific mismatches: standard masked diffusion training corrupts all positions uniformly at random, but the time tokens are more reliable when enough semantic context is available; and token-level cross-entropy does not reflect temporal IoU. To address these mismatches, we introduce a Planned Training Objective that uses boundary-aware masking and step-weighted reconstruction to rehearse the late recovery of time tokens, together with a Step-Level IoU Reward that provides overlap-aware supervision during denoising. A standard sequence-level cross-entropy term provides the base reconstruction signal. Experiments on ActivityNet-RTL, ActivityNet-1.3, and THUMOS-14 show that MDVLM-TAL improves both temporal reasoning and boundary localization over autoregressive vision-language baselines, with especially strong gains under stricter temporal IoU criteria.

Mind-Omni: A Unified Multi-Task Framework for Brain-Vision-Language Modeling via Discrete Diffusion

Modeling the interplay between external stimuli and internal neural representations is a pivotal research area for Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs). A major limitation of prior work is the prevailing paradigm of specialized, single-task models, which curtails versatility and neglects inter-task synergies. To address this, we propose Mind-Omni, the first versatile framework that unifies seven distinct encoding and decoding tasks through a discrete diffusion paradigm. At its core is a novel Brain Tokenizer that transforms heterogeneous, continuous brain signals into standardized, discrete tokens. This enables direct, token-level interactions for mutual understanding and generation between any two or more modalities within a shared semantic space. To unlock advanced reasoning capabilities, we further curate a specialized Brain Question Answering (BQA) instruction-tuning dataset. Our model not only establishes a new state-of-the-art among multi-task unified frameworks but also provides strong evidence for multi-task synergy. By demonstrating performance competitive with, and at times superior to, larger specialized models, our work offers a powerful new paradigm for neural modeling and paves the way for foundation models of neural activity. The code is publicly available at https://github.com/ReedOnePeck/Mind-Omni.

AnchorDiff: Training-Free Concept Grounding for MM-DiTs via Anchor-Based Graph Propagation

Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformers (MM-DiTs) encode rich representations for training-free concept grounding, but existing attention-based methods often produce overlapping activations on visually confusable concepts, a failure mode we call concept leakage, where target responses spill over to non-target objects. To address this issue, we propose AnchorDiff, a training-free grounding method that decouples semantic localization from structural refinement. AnchorDiff selects a high-confidence anchor from concept-to-image attention map and propagates it as a one-hot seed over a hybrid graph derived from image-to-image self-attention. The graph uses output-space similarity for dense within-object propagation and a row-wise attention gate to suppress cross-object connections. Additionally, we introduce the Multi-Concept Confusion Dataset, which contains images with multiple visually similar concepts and separate masks, enabling explicit evaluation of concept leakage. Experiments show that AnchorDiff achieves strong grounding performance on ImageNet-Segmentation and PascalVOC, while substantially reducing concept leakage on our Multi-Concept Confusion Dataset.

StreamChar: Long-Horizon Streaming Character Audio-Video Generation with Decoupled Orchestration

Real-time streaming joint audio-video generation for character animation requires a generator to speak the requested transcript, maintain visual identity across chunks, and run within a strict playback budget. These requirements are difficult to satisfy simultaneously: chunk-wise autoregressive generation can accumulate transcript-audio misalignment and visual drift, while the few-step distillation needed for low latency often degrades spatial diversity and temporal quality. We present StreamChar, a streaming framework that separates long-horizon orchestration from short-window audio-video denoising. An LLM-based orchestrator uses the transcript and historical context to produce frame-aligned audio conditions, and a joint audio-video DiT performs local bidirectional denoising with reference and motion-frame conditioning. For efficient deployment, we use a two-stage distillation pipeline that first compresses the sampler and then fine-tunes the student under online chunk rollouts. A progress-aware pointer aligns partial transcripts with generated audio during rollout training, and a sink-chunk memory provides a persistent visual anchor for reducing long-horizon drift. Experiments on short-clip and long-horizon protocols show that StreamChar runs in real time on a single H100 GPU and provides a favorable system-level trade-off among transcript fidelity, audio-visual synchronization, visual quality, and streaming stability compared with recent joint and audio-driven baselines.

Baton: Explicit Semantic Blueprints for Joint Video-Audio Generation

Current open-source diffusion models struggle to generate stable and synchronized audio-visual content, particularly in scenarios demanding complex semantic reasoning. The root cause is that existing methods rely on coarse text embeddings from off-the-shelf encoders to guide audio-video denoising, which discards fine-grained semantics and, critically, lacks a shared long-horizon plan, leading to uncoordinated denoising trajectories and fragile cross-modal alignment. We propose Baton, the first framework that introduces explicit semantic planning into joint video-audio generation. Our key insight is that complementing coarse text guidance with semantically rich, modality-aware planned tokens, jointly reasoned and mutually aligned before denoising, can simultaneously restore fine-grained semantic detail and establish a shared blueprint that coordinates both audio and video denoising trajectories. Concretely, Baton first introduces the VA-Planner, a multimodal language model equipped with dual semantic alignment towers, where learnable queries cross-attend to both video and audio features to produce a pair of semantically aligned video and audio planned tokens as keyframe-level blueprints. These planned tokens are injected into the diffusion backbone via cross-attention layers, providing temporally grounded guidance complementary to coarse text embeddings. Since planned tokens do not share one-to-one spatial-temporal correspondence with diffusion latents, we further propose Relative Semantic RoPE, a relative positional encoding that maps planned tokens and latents into a shared spatial-temporal coordinate frame, enabling each latent to accurately attend to its positionally corresponding semantic cues. Experiments on benchmarks show the effectiveness of Baton both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Vision-Language Binding in In-Context Image Generation

In-context image generation models such as FLUX.2 take a text prompt and an optional reference image as visual conditioning for the output. Internally, all three inputs -- text, reference image, and the noise tokens -- are concatenated and processed through a single attention stream, where all tokens can attend to one another. This leaves open how reference information flows through the model to produce the output image. We show that an implicit cross-modal binding emerges between the text tokens and the reference image: the text tokens absorb visual reference content during the forward pass, and that absorbed content causally influences the generated output. We surface this binding with three causal interventions on FLUX.2: T2I Lens, which decodes intermediate text-token activations through a text-to-image path; Attention Knockout, which severs specific attention edges; and I2I-to-I2I Patching, which copies text token activations between editing runs. Across 2,875 editing tasks on various images, including SUN397 and DreamBench++ datasets and images collected online, we observe a consistent division of labor: properties of the reference image, like color, style, and scene setting, are first written into the text tokens, which carry them to the generated image; pixel-exact properties like a specific face or instance identity bypass the text tokens and flow directly from reference to image through image-to-image attention. We further localize the reference-text binding to the padding tokens of the text sequence. These results show that text tokens in a multimodal DiT are not just prompt holders, but a structured channel for reference image content. More broadly, they suggest that even in unified-attention multimodal generative models, token modality structures how conditioning information is represented and routed across the network.

Composing People Together: Iterative Pose-Image Generation for Multi-Person Interaction Scenes

Despite recent progress, text-to-image models still struggle to generate semantically diverse and compositionally accurate multi-person interaction scenes, often collapsing to repetitive layouts, stereotypical poses, and poorly grounded interactions. In this work, we bridge this gap by introducing a dual pose-image representation that brings person-centric structural priors into pretrained diffusion transformers. Our model jointly predicts a 2D pose visualization image and its corresponding RGB image, enabling structure and appearance to co-evolve during learning. At its core, a cross-modal alignment scheme binds text, pose, and image representations, ensuring consistent grounding across modalities. Furthermore, we design an iterative scene construction scheme, progressively generating complex multi-human interactions while effectively decomposing the overall generation complexity. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method substantially improves prompt alignment and scene diversity in multi-person image generation.

Sensor2Sensor: Cross-Embodiment Sensor Conversion for Autonomous Driving

Robust training and validation of Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS) require massive, diverse datasets. Proprietary data collected by Autonomous Vehicle (AV) fleets, while high-fidelity, are limited in scale, diversity of sensor configurations, as well as geographic and long-tail-behavioral coverage. In contrast, in-the-wild data from sources like dashcams offers immense scale and diversity, capturing critical long-tail scenarios and novel environments. However, this unstructured, in-the-wild video data is incompatible with ADS expecting structured, multi-modal sensor inputs for validation and training. To bridge this data gap, we propose Sensor2Sensor, a novel generative modeling paradigm that translates in-the-wild monocular dashcam videos into a high-fidelity, multi-modal sensor suite (AV logs) comprising multi-view camera images and LiDAR point clouds. A core challenge is the lack of paired training data. We address this by converting real AV logs into dashcam-style videos via 4D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS) reconstruction and novel-view rendering. Sensor2Sensor then utilizes a diffusion architecture to perform the generative conversion. We perform comprehensive quantitative evaluations on the fidelity and realism of the generated sensor data. We demonstrate Sensor2Sensor's practical utility by converting challenging in-the-wild internet and dashcam footage into realistic, multi-modal data formats, further unlocking vast external data sources for AV development.

MIRAGE: Robust multi-modal architectures translate fMRI-to-image models from vision to mental imagery

To be useful for downstream applications, vision decoding models that are trained to reconstruct seen images from human brain activity must be able to generalize to internally generated visual representations, i.e., mental images. In an analysis of the recently released NSD-Imagery dataset, we demonstrated that while some modern vision decoders can perform quite well on mental image reconstruction, some fail, and that state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance on seen image reconstruction is no guarantee of SOTA performance on mental image reconstruction. Motivated by these findings, we developed MIRAGE, a method explicitly designed to train on vision datasets and cross-decode mental images from brain activity. MIRAGE employs a linear backbone and multi-modal text and image features as input to a diffusion model. Feature metrics and human raters establish MIRAGE as SOTA for mental image reconstruction on the NSD-Imagery benchmark. With ablation analysis we show that mental image reconstruction works best when decoders use image features with relatively few dimensions and include guidance from text-based and both high- and low-level image-based features. Our work indicates that--given the right architecture--existing large-scale datasets using external stimuli are viable training data for decoding mental images, and warrant optimism about the future success and utility of mental image reconstruction.

Diagnosing and Correcting Concept Omission in Multimodal Diffusion Transformers

Multimodal Diffusion Transformers (MM-DiTs) have achieved remarkable progress in text-to-image generation, yet they frequently suffer from concept omission, where specified objects or attributes fail to emerge in the generated image. By performing linear probing on text tokens, we demonstrate that text embeddings can distinguish a characteristic `omission signal' representing the absence of target concepts. Leveraging this insight, we propose Omission Signal Intervention (OSI), which amplifies the omission signal to actively catalyze the generation of missing concepts. Comprehensive experiments on FLUX.1-Dev and SD3.5-Medium demonstrate that OSI significantly alleviates concept omission even in extreme scenarios.

OmniNFT: Modality-wise Omni Diffusion Reinforcement for Joint Audio-Video Generation

Recent advances in joint audio-video generation have been remarkable, yet real-world applications demand strong per-modality fidelity, cross-modal alignment, and fine-grained synchronization. Reinforcement Learning (RL) offers a promising paradigm, but its extension to multi-objective and multi-modal joint audio-video generation remains unexplored. Notably, our in-depth analysis first reveals that the primary obstacles to applying RL in this stem from: (i) multi-objective advantages inconsistency, where the advantages of multimodal outputs are not always consistent within a group; (ii) multi-modal gradients imbalance, where video-branch gradients leak into shallow audio layers responsible for intra-modal generation; (iii) uniform credit assignment, where fine-grained cross-modal alignment regions fail to get efficient exploration. These shortcomings suggest that vanilla RL fine-tuning strategy with a single global advantage often leads to suboptimal results. To address these challenges, we propose OmniNFT, a novel modality-aware online diffusion RL framework with three key innovations: (1) Modality-wise advantage routing, which routes independent per-reward advantages to their respective modality generation branches. (2) Layer-wise gradient surgery, which selectively detaches video-branch gradients on shallow audio layers while retaining those for cross-modal interaction layers. (3) Region-wise loss reweighting, which modulates policy optimization toward critical regions related to audio-video synchronization and fine-grained alignment. Extensive experiments on JavisBench and VBench with the LTX-2 backbone demonstrate that OmniNFT achieves comprehensive improvements in audio and video perceptual quality, cross-modal alignment, and audio-video synchronization.

UniCustom: Unified Visual Conditioning for Multi-Reference Image Generation

Multi-reference image generation aims to synthesize images from textual instructions while faithfully preserving subject identities from multiple reference images. Existing VLM-enhanced diffusion models commonly rely on decoupled visual conditioning: semantic ViT features are processed by the VLM for instruction understanding, whereas appearance-rich VAE features are injected later into the diffusion backbone. Despite its intuitive design, this separation makes it difficult for the model to associate each semantically grounded subject with visual details from the correct reference image. As a result, the model may recognize which subject is being referred to, but fail to preserve its identity and fine-grained appearance, leading to attribute leakage and cross-reference confusion in complex multi-reference settings. To address this issue, we propose UniCustom, a unified visual conditioning framework that fuses ViT and VAE features before VLM encoding. This early fusion exposes the VLM to both semantic cues and appearance-rich details, enabling its hidden states to jointly encode the referred subject and corresponding visual appearance with only a lightweight linear fusion layer. To learn such unified representations, we adopt a two-stage training strategy: reconstruction-oriented pretraining that preserves reference-specific appearance details in the fused hidden states, followed by supervised finetuning on single- and multi-reference generation tasks. We further introduce a slot-wise binding regularization that encourages each image slot to preserve low-level details of its corresponding reference, thereby reducing cross-reference entanglement. Experiments on two multi-reference generation benchmarks demonstrate that UniCustom consistently improves subject consistency, instruction following, and compositional fidelity over strong baselines.

Qwen-Image-2.0 Technical Report

We present Qwen-Image-2.0, an omni-capable image generation foundation model that unifies high-fidelity generation and precise image editing within a single framework. Despite recent progress, existing models still struggle with ultra-long text rendering, multilingual typography, high-resolution photorealism, robust instruction following, and efficient deployment, especially in text-rich and compositionally complex scenarios. Qwen-Image-2.0 addresses these challenges by coupling Qwen3-VL as the condition encoder with a Multimodal Diffusion Transformer for joint condition-target modeling, supported by large-scale data curation and a customized multi-stage training pipeline. This enables strong multimodal understanding while preserving flexible generation and editing capabilities. The model supports instructions of up to 1K tokens for generating text-rich content such as slides, posters, infographics, and comics, while significantly improving multilingual text fidelity and typography. It also enhances photorealistic generation with richer details, more realistic textures, and coherent lighting, and follows complex prompts more reliably across diverse styles. Extensive human evaluations show that Qwen-Image-2.0 substantially outperforms previous Qwen-Image models in both generation and editing, marking a step toward more general, reliable, and practical image generation foundation models.

Marrying Generative Model of Healthcare Events with Digital Twin of Social Determinants of Health for Disease Reasoning

Despite the central role of sensor-derived measurements such as imaging traits and plasma biomarkers in biomedical research and clinical practice, existing generative models for disease prediction largely depend on event-level representations from hospital and registry data. Given the multi-factorial nature of human disease, the absence of explicit modeling of social determinants of health (SDoH), even in the limited form of ICD-coded proxies (chapters Z and V--Y in ICD-10), limits the capacity for personalized disease modeling and clinical decision support. To address this limitation, we propose a generative model with ICD-coded proxies of SDoH for \textit{in silico} modeling of disease reasoning, a conditioned latent diffusion framework that establishes the connection between multi-organ sensor data with tokenized healthcare events. Specifically, we introduce a novel geometric diffusion model to characterize the temporal evolution of complex data representation such as brain networks (region-to-region connectivity encoded in a graph), in parallel with diffusion models for tabular data from other organ systems. Together, we integrate the generative model with digitalized SDoH proxies (coined \modelname{}) for simulated intervention and reasoning of future disease trajectories. We conduct extensive experiments on the UK Biobank (UKB) dataset, which contains organ-specific imaging traits, including brain (44,834), heart (23,987), liver (28,722), and kidney (32,155), along with nearly 500k medical history sequences (age range: 25∼\sim89 years). Our \modelname{} achieves significant improvements over state-of-the-art human disease autoregressive models and imaging trait generative baselines.

Cross-Modal Semantic-Enhanced Diffusion Framework for Diabetic Retinopathy Grading

Automated grading of diabetic retinopathy (DR) faces several critical challenges: subtle inter-grade visual distinctions in fine-grained lesion patterns, distributional discrepancies induced by heterogeneous imaging devices and acquisition conditions, and the inherent inability of purely visual approaches to exploit clinical semantic knowledge. In this paper, we propose CLIP-Guided Semantic Diffusion (CGSD), a DR grading framework that synergistically integrates vision-language pretraining with diffusion probabilistic modeling. We adopt a domain-specific vision-language model tailored for DR grading as the semantic guidance module and adapt it to the target domain via Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA), effectively bridging the distributional gap between the pretrained model and the target dataset with only a minimal number of trainable parameters. Building on this foundation, we construct a cross-modal semantic conditioning vector by computing the dot product between image features and the text description features of each DR grade, yielding a joint representation that simultaneously encodes visual content and clinical-grade semantics. This vector serves as the conditioning signal for the diffusion denoising network, replacing the structurally complex dual-branch visual prior employed in existing diffusion-based classification methods. Experiments on the APTOS 2019 dataset demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves an accuracy of 87.5% and a macro-averaged F1 score of 0.731, outperforming a variety of representative methods. Ablation studies further validate the independent contribution of each constituent module.

JoyAI-Image: Awaking Spatial Intelligence in Unified Multimodal Understanding and Generation

We present JoyAI-Image, a unified multimodal foundation model for visual understanding, text-to-image generation, and instruction-guided image editing. JoyAI-Image couples a spatially enhanced Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM) with a Multimodal Diffusion Transformer (MMDiT), allowing perception and generation to interact through a shared multimodal interface. Around this architecture, we build a scalable training recipe that combines unified instruction tuning, long-text rendering supervision, spatially grounded data, and both general and spatial editing signals. This design gives the model broad multimodal capability while strengthening geometry-aware reasoning and controllable visual synthesis. Experiments across understanding, generation, long-text rendering, and editing benchmarks show that JoyAI-Image achieves state-of-the-art or highly competitive performance. More importantly, the bidirectional loop between enhanced understanding, controllable spatial editing, and novel-view-assisted reasoning enables the model to move beyond general visual competence toward stronger spatial intelligence. These results suggest a promising path for unified visual models in downstream applications such as vision-language-action systems and world models.

Multimodal synthesis of MRI and tabular data with diffusion in a joint latent space via cross-attention

We propose a multimodal latent diffusion model that jointly synthesizes volumetric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and tabular clinical data within a shared latent space via cross-attention. This approach enables coherent joint representation learning of MRI and tabular modalities for generative modeling. Our model utilizes a variational autoencoder to fuse the two modalities before diffusion-based synthesis, allowing modality-appropriate reconstruction with separate decoders for MRI and tabular data. We evaluated the framework on data from the German National Cohort (NAKO Gesundheitsstudie), comprising over 10,000 participants with MRI scans and clinical tabular features such as age, sex, body measurements, and ethnicity. The generated MRI volumes exhibited anatomical plausibility and body composition consistent with the synthesized tabular attributes. Quantitative evaluation using Fréchet distance and precision-recall metrics confirmed high-fidelity image generation. In the tabular modality, our model outperformed CTGAN across standard evaluation metrics and achieved results comparable to TVAE, demonstrating competitive performance relative to established unimodal baselines. This work is, to our knowledge, the first to demonstrate the feasibility of jointly modeling MRI and mixed-type tabular data in a single latent diffusion framework, offering a proof-of-concept for generating coherent synthetic multimodal patient data and aligning with the broader goal of developing digital twins in healthcare.

Semantic-Structural Alignment for Generative Pictorial Charts

Traditional statistical graphics are precise but often lack the visual appeal, memorability, and engagement of pictorial charts. We present a generative framework for the automated synthesis of pictorial charts that bridges the gap between semantic expression and structural faithfulness. Rather than treating charts merely as images to be stylized, we frame the problem as a dual-conditioned generation task guided by two parallel external control signals: a text prompt capturing the semantic context of the editing intent, and a context image providing the abstract statistical chart's global structure. To reinforce these controls within a Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformer, we introduce two complementary feature-level mechanisms: structural alignment to anchor spatial layouts to the input chart, and semantic alignment to transfer expressive textures from reference images. Generalizing across major visual channels (i.e., length, area, angle, and position) and diverse semantic domains, our method produces pictorial charts that are both artistically compelling and structurally consistent. Extensive quantitative evaluations and perceptual user studies demonstrate that our framework outperforms traditional controllable generation and image editing baselines, providing a foundation for high-fidelity, data-driven generative modeling in expressive visual storytelling. A-CODE: Fully Atomic Protein Co-Design with Unified Multimodal Diffusion

We present A-CODE, a fully atomic unified one-stage protein co-design model that simultaneously refines discrete atom types and continuous atom coordinates. Unlike predominant two-stage methods that cascade structure design with amino acid-level sequence design, our approach is fully atomic within a unified multimodal diffusion framework, in which residue identities are inferred solely from atom-level predictions. Built upon the powerful all-atom architecture, A-CODE achieves superior designability for unconditional protein generation, outperforming all existing one-stage and two-stage design models. For binder design, A-CODE rivals and even outperforms existing state-of-the-art two-stage design models and, compared with the existing one-stage co-design model, achieves a drastic tenfold improvement in success rate on hard tasks. The inherent flexibility of our atomic formulation enables, for the first time, seamless adaptation to non-canonical amino acid (ncAA) modeling. Our fully atomic framework establishes a new, versatile foundation for all-atom generative modeling that can be naturally extended to complex biomolecular systems.

Divide and Conquer: Decoupled Representation Alignment for Multimodal World Models

Emerging multi-modal world models attempt to jointly generate videos across diverse modalities (e.g., RGB, depth, and mask), yet they fail to fully exploit the rich priors of existing foundation models. We propose M2M^2-REPA, the first representation alignment method tailored for multi-modal video generation. Our key insight is that foundation models trained on different modality spaces naturally capture distinct domain-specific priors, acting as complementary "experts." Specifically, we first decouple modality-specific features from the diffusion model's intermediate representations, then align each with its corresponding expert foundation model. To this end, we design two synergistic objectives: a multi-modal representation alignment loss that enforces feature-to-expert matching, and a modality-specific decoupling regularization that encourages complementarity across different modalities. This design enables joint optimization, fully exploiting priors from multiple foundation models. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms baselines in visual quality and long-term consistency.

UniVidX: A Unified Multimodal Framework for Versatile Video Generation via Diffusion Priors

Recent progress has shown that video diffusion models (VDMs) can be repurposed for diverse multimodal graphics tasks. However, existing methods often train separate models for each problem setting, which fixes the input-output mapping and limits the modeling of correlations across modalities. We present UniVidX, a unified multimodal framework that leverages VDM priors for versatile video generation. UniVidX formulates pixel-aligned tasks as conditional generation in a shared multimodal space, adapts to modality-specific distributions while preserving the backbone's native priors, and promotes cross-modal consistency during synthesis. It is built on three key designs. Stochastic Condition Masking (SCM) randomly partitions modalities into clean conditions and noisy targets during training, enabling omni-directional conditional generation instead of fixed mappings. Decoupled Gated LoRA (DGL) introduces per-modality LoRAs that are activated when a modality serves as the generation target, preserving the strong priors of the VDM. Cross-Modal Self-Attention (CMSA) shares keys and values across modalities while keeping modality-specific queries, facilitating information exchange and inter-modal alignment. We instantiate UniVidX in two domains: UniVid-Intrinsic, for RGB videos and intrinsic maps including albedo, irradiance, and normal; and UniVid-Alpha, for blended RGB videos and their constituent RGBA layers. Experiments show that both models achieve performance competitive with state-of-the-art methods across distinct tasks and generalize robustly to in-the-wild scenarios, even when trained on fewer than 1,000 videos. IdentiFace: Multi-Modal Iterative Diffusion Framework for Identifiable Suspect Face Generation in Crime Investigations

Suspect face generation remains a technical challenge in crime investigations. Traditional sketch-drawing workflows suffer from low efficiency and quality, while diffusion-based approaches still face intrinsic limitations on conditional ambiguity for text-to-image models and sampling variance for one-shot generation. We proposed IdentiFace, a novel diffusion-based framework for identifiable suspect face generation, which addressed these issues through (1) multi-modal input design to strengthen conditional control, and (2) an iterative generation pipeline enabling identifiable feature adjustment. We additionally contributed a facial identity loss and two task-specific datasets. Comprehensive experiments on synthetic datasets and in real-world scenarios indicate that IdentiFace achieves superior performance over existing methods, especially in terms of identity retrieval, and shows strong potential for practical applications.

The Thinking Pixel: Recursive Sparse Reasoning in Multimodal Diffusion Latents

Diffusion models have achieved success in high-fidelity data synthesis, yet their capacity for more complex, structured reasoning like text following tasks remains constrained. While advances in language models have leveraged strategies such as latent reasoning and recursion to enhance text understanding capabilities, extending these to multimodal text-to-image generation tasks is challenging due to the continuous and non-discrete nature of visual tokens. To tackle this problem, we draw inspiration from modular human cognition and propose a recursive, sparse mixture-of-experts framework integrated into conventional diffusion models. Our approach introduces a recursive component within joint attention layers that iteratively refines visual tokens over multiple latent steps while efficiently sharing parameters via sparse selection of neural modules. At each step, a gating network is devised to dynamically select specialized neural modules, conditioned on the current visual tokens, the diffusion timestep, and the conditioning information. Comprehensive evaluation on class-conditioned ImageNet image generation tasks and additional studies on the GenEval and DPG benchmark demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in enhancing model image generation performance.

Talker-T2AV: Joint Talking Audio-Video Generation with Autoregressive Diffusion Modeling

Joint audio-video generation models have shown that unified generation yields stronger cross-modal coherence than cascaded approaches. However, existing models couple modalities throughout denoising via pervasive attention, treating high-level semantics and low-level details in a fully entangled manner. This is suboptimal for talking head synthesis: while audio and facial motion are semantically correlated, their low-level realizations (acoustic signals and visual textures) follow distinct rendering processes. Enforcing joint modeling across all levels causes unnecessary entanglement and reduces efficiency. We propose Talker-T2AV, an autoregressive diffusion framework where high-level cross-modal modeling occurs in a shared backbone, while low-level refinement uses modality-specific decoders. A shared autoregressive language model jointly reasons over audio and video in a unified patch-level token space. Two lightweight diffusion transformer heads decode the hidden states into frame-level audio and video latents. Experiments on talking portrait benchmarks show Talker-T2AV outperforms dual-branch baselines in lip-sync accuracy, video quality, and audio quality, achieving stronger cross-modal consistency than cascaded pipelines.

Multimodal Diffusion to Mutually Enhance Polarized Light and Low Resolution EBSD Data

In spite of the utility of 3-D electron back-scattered diffraction (EBSD) microscopy, the data collection process can be time-consuming with serial-sectioning. Hence, it is natural to look at other modalities, such as polarized light (PL) data, to accelerate EBSD data collection, supplemented with shared information. Complementarily, features in chaotic PL data could even be enriched with a handful of EBSD measurements. To inherently learn the complex dynamics between EBSD and PL to solve these inverse problems, we use an unconditional multimodal diffusion model, motivated by progress in diffusion models for inverse problems. Although trained solely on synthetic data once, our model has strong generalizable capabilities on real data which can be low-resolution, noisy, corrupted, and misregistered. With inference-time scaling, we show gains in performance on a variety of objectives including grain boundary prediction, super-resolution, and denoising. With our model, we demonstrate that there is little difference from full resolution performance with only 25% (1/4 the resolution) of EBSD data and corrupted PL data.

GeoRelight: Learning Joint Geometrical Relighting and Reconstruction with Flexible Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformers

Relighting a person from a single photo is an attractive but ill-posed task, as a 2D image ambiguously entangles 3D geometry, intrinsic appearance, and illumination. Current methods either use sequential pipelines that suffer from error accumulation, or they do not explicitly leverage 3D geometry during relighting, which limits physical consistency. Since relighting and estimation of 3D geometry are mutually beneficial tasks, we propose a unified Multi-Modal Diffusion Transformer (DiT) that jointly solves for both: GeoRelight. We make this possible through two key technical contributions: isotropic NDC-Orthographic Depth (iNOD), a distortion-free 3D representation compatible with latent diffusion models; and a strategic mixed-data training method that combines synthetic and auto-labeled real data. By solving geometry and relighting jointly, GeoRelight achieves better performance than both sequential models and previous systems that ignored geometry.
