Reflective Flare
Reflective flare, encompassing unwanted reflections in images and sensor data, poses significant challenges across diverse fields, from computer vision and autonomous driving to audio processing and 3D rendering. Current research focuses on developing algorithms and models, such as neural radiance fields (NeRFs) and artificial neural networks (ANNs), to detect, mitigate, or even exploit these reflections for improved scene understanding and reconstruction. Addressing reflective flare is crucial for enhancing the accuracy and robustness of various applications, including improved image quality, reliable autonomous navigation, and more accurate 3D scene modeling.
