Position Forcing: Self-Conditioning 3D Generation

Recent single-stage 3D generative models commonly adopt VecSet representations, encoding 3D shapes as unordered sets of latent tokens. However, compared with two-stage methods that provide explicit positional guidance, these models must implicitly infer token positions throughout denoising, limiting their generation quality. We observe that, despite the absence of explicit positional conditioning, VecSet tokens retain recoverable spatial correspondences. Building on this observation, we propose Position Forcing, a position-based self-conditioning framework. During denoising, Position Forcing recovers token positions from the current clean latent estimate, quantizes them at progressively finer resolutions according to the denoising stage, and feeds the resulting positional encodings back into the diffusion Transformer. This progressively refined positional feedback provides spatial guidance at a granularity appropriate to each denoising stage, guiding shape generation along a coarse-to-fine trajectory and substantially improving generation quality without a separate position generation stage. Experiments demonstrate that Position Forcing achieves strong performance among single-stage 3D generative methods and outperforms several competitive multi-stage approaches.

Unified Multi-plane Autoregressive Diffusion for 3D Multi-contrast MRI Synthesis

Acquiring a complete set of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrasts is time-intensive and uncomfortable for patients, despite the diagnostic value of multi-contrast imaging. This motivates synthesizing missing contrasts from those already acquired, which is an inherently 3D problem requiring anatomical coherence across axial, sagittal, and coronal planes. However, fully 3D generative models are often impracti- cal under computational resources that scale cubically with volume size. We propose a unified Multi-Plane Autoregressive Diffusion (MPAD), a latent diffusion framework that achieves full-volume 3D synthesis using efficient plane-wise 2D operations while preserving volumetric coherence. A 3D autoencoder first compresses MRI scans into an isotropic 3D la- tent representation. A 2D diffusion model is then trained to reconstruct masked latent slices of the target contrast, conditioned on both source- contrast slices and unmasked target-contrast slices. During inference, we introduce plane-wise autoregressive synthesis with inter-plane priors. Slices are generated autoregressively in random order within one plane orientation to maintain intra-plane continuity, then propagated as con- ditioning priors to orthogonal plane orientations to enforce inter-plane consistency. Compared to 3D latent diffusion baselines, MPAD reduces training and inference FLOPs by 7x and 3x, respectively, while also lowering inference time and peak memory consumption. Experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that MPAD achieves superior perfor- mance, generating high-fidelity 3D volumes and supporting one-to-many translation within a single unified model.

DecomVoxel: Harnessing 3D-Native Priors with Guided In-situ Denoising Optimization for Decompositional Scene Reconstruction

Decompositional scene reconstruction aims to reconstruct high-quality objects and background, yet existing methods still struggle with the level of quality under heavy occlusions. While generative priors offer a potential solution, 2D image-based priors often suffer from multi-view inconsistency due to a lack of 3D awareness. Conversely, 3D-native priors provide stronger structural inductive biases but frequently lead to spatial drift and misalignment within complex scenes. To address these issues, we propose DecomVoxel, formulating object completion as a guided in-situ denoising optimization that bridges 3D-native priors with neural scene reconstruction. Our framework introduces a reformulated epsilon-based distillation loss to ensure stable latent refinement, alongside adaptive spatial guidance that utilizes occupied and vacant anchors with temporal annealing to suppress generative hallucinations and mitigate spatial drift. Experiments on Replica and ScanNet++ show that DecomVoxel significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods while faithfully preserving the original spatial layout, structural fidelity, and style-consistent texture. Our method pushes the boundary of decompositional reconstruction by delivering high-quality textured meshes with clean topology, geometry, and appearance, providing a robust solution for the decompositional reconstruction of complex real-world scenes. BTC3D: Blended Tile Conditioning for Detail-Enhancing Image-to-3D Generation

Recent diffusion-based pipelines have achieved promising progress in image-to-3D synthesis. However, generating high-fidelity details remains challenging, especially when the input image contains rich details. Existing approaches often rely on globally encoded conditioning features, which compress spatial information and limit the model to reproduce fine-grained details. This common design often leads to a phenomenon we term detail attenuation. Moreover, improving image-to-3D synthesis quality typically requires retraining or fine-tuning large diffusion models, which can be computationally expensive and impractical for complex 3D pipelines. In this work, we present Blended Tile Conditioning for image-to-3D generation (BTC3D), a training-free inference time framework that enhances fine-grained detail preservation in image-to-3D diffusion pipelines. To alleviate detail attenuation, we first examine the image feature additivity in image-to-3D models. Based on this property, we introduce a blended tile embedding that extracts local conditioning signals from split image regional patches, allowing the diffusion model to better preserve fine-grained visual details. To integrate the global and local conditioning guidance stably, we propose a dynamic conditioning schedule that gradually increases the influence of tile-level conditioning during later low-noise stages of diffusion. Our proposed method BTC3D operates entirely at inference time and can be seamlessly integrated into existing image-to-3D diffusion pipelines. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach significantly improves texture quality and visual fidelity of the base model while maintaining global structural consistency in a training-free manner.

GeoVerse: World-Consistent Novel View Synthesis in Geometric Latent Space

Novel view synthesis from sparse images must reconcile faithful reconstruction of observed regions with plausible completion of unseen content, while maintaining world consistency across viewpoints. Existing geometry-based methods preserve observed scene structure but often struggle to complete unseen regions, whereas video generative models offer rich appearance priors but accumulate inconsistencies during sequential view generation. We propose GeoVerse, a framework that synthesizes world-consistent novel views by performing generation within the geometric latent space of a pretrained 3D foundation model and injecting appearance priors from a video generative model. Specifically, GeoVerse extracts multilevel features from Wan2.2 VACE and injects them into the geometric latent diffusion model via a ControlNet-style adapter, incorporating video-learned appearance priors to enhance structural completion. To enforce cross-view coherence, a global spatial memory continuously aggregates observed and synthesized content, reprojecting target-aligned guidance to anchor subsequent predictions to a shared scene representation. Extensive experiments across diverse datasets demonstrate improved visual quality and geometric consistency, with a 2.23 dB higher PSNR on DL3DV and 32.4% lower ATE on Mip-NeRF360 compared to GLD.

Does Native 3D Texture Generation Necessarily Require 3D Assets for Training?

Native 3D texture generation synthesizes colors directly in 3D space for a given geometry, conditioned on multi-view reference images. It is generally believed that training such models requires large-scale, high-quality real 3D asset data, whose acquisition remains a long-standing and challenging problem. In this work, we propose Tex-Zero, demonstrating that a high-fidelity native 3D texture generation framework can be trained without 3D assets. Our key observation is that only high-quality and fine-grained color information is essential for 3D texture training, while the required geometric information is less critical and can be manually constructed rather than obtained from real 3D assets. This finding makes it possible to transform abundant, high-quality 2D images into effective training samples for 3D texture generation. Specifically, we convert high-quality 2D images into 3D training samples by representing each image as a plane in 3D space and applying patch-wise random rotations and aggregation to construct complex geometric structures. Using these constructed image data, we train the Tex-Zero VAE, which can reconstruct real 3D assets with high quality despite never observing them during training. Building upon the Tex-Zero VAE, we train the Tex-Zero DiT also exclusively on the constructed image data, where the conditioning 2D multi-view images are transformed into planes in 3D space and also encoded by the Tex-Zero VAE, thereby reducing the representation gap and improving generation quality. Extensive experiments show that Tex-Zero generates high-fidelity 3D textures with fine-grained details solely using images as training data, offering a promising perspective on the data paradigm for scaling 3D texture generation.

EMERGE: Resolution-Agnostic Point Cloud Generation with Equivariant Graph-Based Diffusion

Point cloud generation has emerged as a crucial task for accurately capturing and reproducing the complexity of the physical world. However, existing generative approaches, predominantly relying on Transformers and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), frequently ignore the continuous, non-grid topologies inherent to 3D spaces. Although the integration of graph-based structures has yielded significant benefits in related discriminative vision tasks, such geometric architectures remain noticeably absent from 3D generative modeling. To address this gap, we introduce EMERGE (Equivariant Multi-scale GNN for Resolution-agnostic point cloud GEneration), the first fully SE(3)SE(3)-equivariant graph-based diffusion backbone explicitly designed to generate point clouds while preserving continuous spatial symmetries. Our framework bypasses the rigid resolution dependencies of standard generative pipelines, enabling zero-shot inference at multiple, arbitrary spatial resolutions. Extensive empirical evaluations demonstrate that EMERGE achieves State-of-the-Art generation quality across standard metrics, while the strong inherent geometric inductive biases enable significantly faster training convergence compared to existing baseline methods.

ZVeC: A Zero-Shot Framework for Instance-Level Vehicle Extraction and Generative Point Cloud Completion

LiDAR point clouds acquired in underground environments exhibit severe geometric incompleteness due to occlusions and limited sensor viewpoints, making reliable point cloud completion challenging without large supervised datasets. We propose ZVeC, a zero-shot, instance-driven framework that reformulates scene-level completion as compositional object-level reconstruction. By decomposing a scene into semantic object instances, ZVeC reduces reconstruction ambiguity in cluttered environments while eliminating the need for scenario-specific training. Each segmented vehicle is completed independently using a depth- and 3D Gaussian-conditioned diffusion model that exploits generalized geometric priors before the reconstructed instances are recomposed into the original scene. To evaluate our approach, we construct a real-world dense LiDAR benchmark of underground parking environments. Experimental results demonstrate consistent improvements over representative scene-level baselines in both quantitative metrics and visual quality. The completed point cloud differs substantially from the measured input (average KL divergence ~ 2.1), yet reducing the input to only 1% of the original LiDAR measurements changes the completed reconstruction only marginally (KL divergence < 0.50). This demonstrates that ZVeC produces geometrically consistent completions even under extreme input sparsity.

Learning Foresight without Explicit Trajectories for 3D Diffusion Policies

3D diffusion policies are strong at generating geometrically grounded actions from current observations, but successful manipulation requires not only knowing what motion is feasible now, but also anticipating where the interaction is heading. Existing policies largely leave such foresight to emerge implicitly from action learning. We introduce Movement Trend Guidance, a simple but effective way to provide this foresight without introducing an explicit plan. From a short observation history, the policy learns a compact latent representation of interaction evolution. During training, sparse future gripper states supervise this representation; at inference, only the latent is retained as future-oriented conditioning alongside the current observation. The latent provides global conditioning for action generation, while an additional gated FiLM branch is used only at the UNet bottleneck. Despite adding only 3.52% more parameters to DP3, our method preserves the original dense-action and receding-horizon formulation and consistently improves upon DP3 across RoboTwin2.0, LIBERO-40, and DexArt. It reaches 62.8% vs. 56.1% in 50-task RoboTwin2.0 mixed training, 71.93% vs. 37.08% on LIBERO-40, and 72.0% vs. 49.0% on five real-robot tasks. These results show that a diffusion policy can benefit substantially from knowing where an interaction is heading, without being told exactly where to move.

GS-PI: An Optimization-Decoupled Appearance Decomposition Approach for Generating PBR Gaussian Assets

Gaussian Splatting (GS) excels at novel-view synthesis but encodes baked-in radiance, tightly entangling illumination with geometry and preventing seamless integration into physically based rendering (PBR) pipelines. Existing inverse-rendering methods attempt to disentangle materials via joint optimization, but often suffer from competing objectives that cause severe ambiguities and residual lighting artifacts. To overcome this, we present GS-PI, a novel optimization-decoupled framework that casts PBR material generation as a geometry-conditioned diffusion process on 3D point clouds. By operating directly in the 3D domain, our method inherently guarantees multi-view consistency, sidestepping the severe pixel correspondence issues that challenge 2D diffusion approaches. We introduce a multi-scale cross-view conditioning mechanism that integrates three complementary components: a global semantic prior, source-anchored photometric cues, and an absolute spatial learned view-direction conditioning signal. This design efficiently compresses complex multi-view evidence, mitigating cross-view projection misalignment and successfully preventing specular highlights from baking into intrinsic colors. By extracting a point cloud from a pre-trained Gaussian model, predicting PBR attributes via conditional diffusion, and distilling them back through differentiable rasterisation, we yield a fully relightable PBR-GS asset. GS-PI outperforms recent inverse-rendering baselines while replacing per-scene joint illumination/BRDF optimization with a learned diffusion pass followed by a short target-driven distillation, without requiring proxy meshes.

LIFD: Anchored Diffusion for 3D-Aware Scene Memory in Robotic Manipulation

Robotic manipulation under partial observability requires spatial information that extends beyond the current view. Geometry-aware RGB features describe visible structure, but previously observed regions may disappear as the robot or scene moves. Maintaining a useful scene representation therefore requires retaining observation history while inferring missing content without losing its connection to visible evidence. We introduce LIFD (Look, Imagine, Focus, and Do), a framework for persistent, 3D-aware scene memory. LIFD learns a scene-token representation from multi-view agreement and completes it from a single RGB view and recurrent memory. A rectified-flow model generates the tokens while Anchor-Guided Cross-Attention conditions completion on current geometric features. Compact slot features connect this representation to a manipulation policy. Multi-view and geometric supervision are used during representation learning; deployment requires one RGB camera, proprioception, and a task instruction. LIFD (Staged) reaches 91.6% average success on LIBERO and 79.8% on MetaWorld, improving LIBERO average success by 3.1 percentage points over Joint training. On four UR5e task families with ten demonstrations per family, it achieves 56.0% mean success, compared with 40.5% for OpenVLA-7B.

3D CT-to-PET Translation via Latent Brownian Bridge Diffusion

Computed tomography (CT) and positron emission tomography (PET) provide complementary anatomical and functional information for cancer diagnosis and treatment planning. However, the widespread use of PET is limited by high radiation exposure, elevated costs, and restricted availability. To address these limitations, deep learning-based CT-to-PET translation has emerged as a promising approach for synthesizing PET-like information directly from CT images, although accurately modeling the large cross-modal gap remains challenging. In this work, we propose a 3D CT-to-PET translation framework based on latent Brownian Bridge Diffusion (BBDM). The method consists of two stages. First, a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) is trained on paired CT-PET patches, integrating contrastive learning to improve latent alignment between anatomical and metabolic representations. Second, a BBDM is trained in the latent space to translate CT latent representations into their corresponding PET counterparts. The translated PET latents are then decoded and stitched to reconstruct the final 3D PET volume. We evaluate the proposed approach on two publicly available datasets. Quantitative results based on image fidelity and lesion-level PET-specific metrics demonstrate improved performance compared with competing methods. In particular, the proposed approach improves PET signal fidelity, better preserves clinically relevant uptake patterns, and shows improved performance in preserving small-lesion metabolic activation, paving the way for virtual imaging applications.

Geometry Without Coordinates: LiDAR Diffusion as a 3D Feature Bridge

Transferring the rich priors of large 2D foundation models to sparse 3D LiDAR remains challenging, as training native 3D foundation models at comparable scale is limited by data and annotation scarcity. We introduce a LiDAR-conditioned diffusion model trained on pseudo-labels from off-the-shelf 2D foundation models. The model supports multiple output modalities, including depth, semantic segmentation and instance prediction, selectable via a textual task prompt. Because the model is conditioned on LiDAR, both its outputs and its intermediate UNet features can be projected back onto the input point cloud, enabling analysis of a 3D representation learned entirely under 2D supervision. We study this representation directly in point-cloud space, explicitly excluding raw spatial coordinates to isolate feature content from projection geometry. Linear probes recover up to ~23% Mean Intersection over Union (MIoU) on 3D semantic classes, compared to ~3.5% for a matched Gaussian-noise control, indicating substantial non-trivial structure. Pairwise cosine similarity across modality-specific feature streams reveals a layered organization. Early encoder layers remain weakly aligned across modalities while individually decodable, intermediate layers converge toward a shared representation, and decoder layers re-specialize toward task-specific outputs. These findings indicate that LiDAR-conditioned diffusion models can induce structured 3D representations from 2D supervision alone, with a modality-dependent manifold that locally unifies near a shared bottleneck. This positions diffusion as a viable mechanism for transferring large-scale 2D priors into sparse 3D domains.

PocketVE: Stable and Property-Guided Structure-Based Drug Design with Variance-Exploding Diffusion

Protein-conditioned 3D molecule generation is a central challenge in structure-based drug design, requiring a balance between pocket compatibility, molecular properties, and physical geometry. We propose \textbf{PocketVE}, a protein-pocket-conditioned variance-exploding (VE) diffusion framework that couples stable coordinate denoising with inference-time property guidance. Specifically, PocketVE combines an EDM-style training and sampling setup for 3D denoising, classifier-free guidance for multi-property steering, and adaptive protein perturbation as a training-time pocket regularizer. On the CrossDocked2020 benchmark under GenBench3D, PocketVE improves Valid3D_{3\text{D}} from 58.6 to 80.6 and reduces strain energy from 457.4 to 127.9 relative to its guided TAGMol architectural parent; relative to TargetDiff, it attains comparable Valid3D_{3\text{D}} with lower strain energy (127.9 vs.\ 306.0), while retaining competitive docking and molecular-property scores under moderate guidance. A guidance-scale study shows that moderate guidance gives a favorable balance between target-related objectives and geometric quality, whereas stronger guidance can degrade geometry and distributional fidelity. Pocket-permutation and PoseCheck diagnostics further support pocket-specific spatial compatibility with reduced steric conflicts. Overall, the results suggest that geometric stability and inference-time property guidance should be considered as coupled design objectives.

Flow3D-OPD: Multi-Teacher On-Policy Distillation for 3D Geometry Generation with Flow-Matching Diffusion Transformer

Recent image-to-3D generation models built on flow-matching diffusion Transformers (DiT) can produce high-fidelity meshes, yet their post-training strategy remains largely unexplored. There exist several critical bottlenecks in reinforcement learning: the inherent difficulty of defining comprehensive rewards for 3D geometric quality, and the gradient interference that arises when jointly optimizing heterogeneous objectives. Inspired by the practicability of on-policy distillation (OPD) in large language models and image generation, we propose \textbf{Flow3D-OPD}, a two-stage post-training framework that introduces multi-teacher distillation into 3D geometry generation. In the first stage, we utilize the semi-policy to enhance the foundational capability of the pretrained model and then design an agentic verifier for 3D geometric quality evaluation. Based on the verifier, we could cultivate domain-specialized teacher models via direct preference optimization (DPO). In the second stage, we consolidate heterogeneous expertise into a unified student model through on-policy distillation with hard task-routing sampling and gradient accumulation, which could mitigate the gradient interference in joint optimization. Without relying on elaborate modifications, our straightforward yet effective design achieves consistent improvements across all geometric quality dimensions and surpasses all teacher models in the average metric. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach provides an effective paradigm for reinforcement learning in 3D generation.

GridFlow: Structured Latent Flow for Seamless City-Scale 3D Point Cloud Generation

Generating realistic 3D city environments from remote sensing data is important for simulation, urban planning, and mixed reality, yet existing point cloud generation methods are limited to single objects or bounded indoor scenes and cannot handle the scale, seamless tiling, and partial observability challenges of city-scale generation. We present \ours{}, a multi-stage framework that generates dense, colored point clouds (10510^5 points per 150m×150m150\text{m}{\times}150\text{m} tile) at city scale, conditioned on satellite imagery, semantic segmentation maps, and digital surface models (DSM). A \emph{Grid-Aligned VAE} encodes each tile into a topology-preserving latent grid where tokens correspond to fixed spatial regions, enabling spatially coherent multi-modal conditioning and compact latent-space edge consistency that implicitly aligns thousands of boundary points for seamless cross-tile generation. A conditional rectified flow model synthesizes geometry latents from the fused multi-modal conditions, and an orientation-aware diffusion colorizer separately handles satellite-visible horizontal surfaces and occluded vertical façades. To support standardized evaluation, we build on public 3D data sources to introduce \emph{City3D-MultiGen}, a benchmark of 163163K densely annotated tiles from Melbourne and London with aligned point clouds, satellite images, semantic maps, and elevation data. Experiments show that \ours{} outperforms adapted point cloud generation baselines across all geometry metrics and produces visually coherent colored point clouds with seamless boundaries over arbitrarily large urban extents. AnaDiffusion: Anatomically CompositionalLatent Diffusion for Controllable 3D Brain MRI Generation

3D brain MRI generation has made significant advances in medical imaging, simulation, and controllable anatomical analysis. However, existing generative models typically synthesize 3D volumes monolithically, often overlooking regional anatomical structures and limiting local controllability. To address these limitations, we introduce AnaDiffusion, an anatomically compositional latent diffusion framework that factorizes the generation process into distinct, anatomically meaningful regions, followed by part-to-whole assembly and global refinement. Our approach first trains part diffusion models to capture local structural priors. We then inject an assembled anatomical composite of the parts into the whole-brain latent representation and continue denoising. This mechanism enables the model to resolve global context while preserving the injected anatomy. As a result, AnaDiffusion produces both explicit part assets and a globally coherent volume, thereby enabling controllable part editing without requiring subject-specific dense segmentation maps at inference time while maintaining consistent part-to-whole brain structure. On the subject-disjoint ADNI test split, AnaDiffusion achieves the lowest FID across the whole brain, left and right hemispheres, cerebellar-brainstem complex, and seam regions. It also achieves the best cerebellar and second-best ventricular and brainstem absolute Cohen's d values among the evaluated methods. In localized editing experiments, paired MS-SSIM demonstrates high target transfer and off-target preservation, supporting controllable part replacement with minimal unintended anatomical alterations.

SCULPT: Subtractive Composition for 3D Part Generation

Part-aware 3D generation aims to create digital assets that are coherent as complete objects while exposing structural parts for editing, material assignment, animation, and reuse. Existing methods impose this structure outside the native generation loop: segmentation-based methods partition an already generated shape, while additive methods synthesize parts from predefined layouts, boxes, or tokens and then reconcile them into a whole. The former preserves the generated geometry but fixes the object before part boundaries are determined; the latter exposes part cardinality but often leaves shared boundaries vulnerable to gaps, interpenetrations, and material discontinuities. In this paper, we propose SCULPT, a framework that addresses these challenges through subtractive composition. Given a complete object represented in a structured 3D latent space, SCULPT iteratively applies a joint split predictor to generate one extracted part together with the remaining object. The predictor performs a coupled denoising process conditioned on both the image and the current 3D state, so the extracted part and updated remainder are generated together rather than reconciled after generation. The joint split predictor processes both outputs on the union of their native sparse 3D supports, allowing neighboring supports to overlap rather than imposing a disjoint voxel partition. The rollout ends when the remainder support becomes empty or reaches a fixed safety cap, allowing the number of generated parts to adapt to each object within that bound. Extensive experiments demonstrate state-of-the-art geometry on PartObjaverse while preserving strong complete-object reconstruction after part assembly. Results on four dataset images, one text-to-image-generated input, and one real-world photograph further show fine-grained textured part decomposition beyond the benchmark.

TGRHuman: Text-Guided Realistic 3D Human Generation via Diffusion Renderer

Realistic 3D human generation plays a crucial role in many graphics applications. However, current methods still struggle to generate high-quality human geometry and texture while maintaining 3D consistency and inference efficiency. In this work, we address these limitations by introducing TGRHuman, a novel approach for generating realistic 3D humans from text. Our method decouples geometry and texture generation to alleviate the issues commonly encountered in NeRF-based methods. Instead of relying on slow, implicit score-distillation-based optimization, we directly use explicit multi-view observation generation and optimization for efficient 3D synthesis. For geometry generation, we propose a high-resolution generative module for multi-view normals together with a geometry-carving strategy that preserves view consistency and supports loose clothing. For texture generation, we produce spatially consistent RGB observations from densely sampled surrounding views using a carefully designed texture-prior acquisition strategy and a diffusion renderer, enabling detailed human texture synthesis. Experiments show that our method can generate high-quality and consistent 3D human geometry and texture efficiently. TGRHuman outperforms existing text-to-3D human methods in both geometry and texture quality.

SUMI: Scalable Unified Model for 3D Point Cloud Inference

Point cloud completion commonly follows a coarse-to-fine paradigm, where a low-density coarse shape is first predicted and then upsampled to the target resolution. Although recent methods have improved global structure recovery, the fine stage often remains limited by simple upsampling and insufficient interaction with coarse structural features, making local detail reconstruction challenging. We propose SUMI, a diffusion-enhanced refinement module for coarse-to-fine point cloud completion. Unlike prior diffusion-based completion methods that use diffusion as a standalone point generator, SUMI injects noisy geometric features into cross-attention with coarse structural features, enabling reverse denoising to refine local geometry while preserving global consistency. SUMI can also be integrated into existing coarse-to-fine models as a flexible refinement module. Experiments on PCN, ShapeNet-55/34, and MVP demonstrate consistent improvements over strong baselines. SUMI achieves the best overall CD and F1-score on PCN, reduces CD by up to 16.1% on ShapeNet-55, and obtains the best CD across all output densities on MVP.

Ordered Diffusion for 3D Human Registration

3D human registration has historically been treated as a regression task, assuming a unique ground-truth alignment exists between the template and an input point cloud. In reality, acquisition noise, occlusions, and unknown soft tissue dynamics introduce inherent ambiguity into human scans. Regression-based methods consequently converge to an average prediction, often failing to represent a plausible geometry. In our work, we embrace such uncertainty by modeling the registration as a distribution of alignments. We propose ODin, which formulates registration as a 3D diffusion process that generates a point cloud aligned with the target geometry while preserving template semantics through consistent point ordering. To achieve this, ODin relies on global, local, and positional conditioning, guiding each point to its correct location. Our experiments demonstrate that such a generative formulation not only outperforms its regression-based baseline, but also establishes a new state of the art, surpassing highly engineered methods while reducing the registration time by two-thirds. Pre-trained models and code are available at https://riccardomarin.github.io/odin/.

EditFlow3D: Automated Local Editing of 3D Assets with Trajectory Preservation

Controllable local editing of 3D assets requires precise target localization and appropriate visual guidance. However, existing methods lack a simple yet accurate way to obtain 3D masks and struggle to achieve the desired edit while faithfully preserving the structure and appearance of non-target regions. To address these challenges, we present EditFlow3D, a training-free framework for local 3D editing. Given a source asset and an edit instruction, a VLM-driven workflow interprets the editing intent and automatically constructs a visual guidance image and a refined 3D editing mask, enabling localized editing in the native representation space of a pretrained 3D generative model. Specifically, mask-guided differential flow focuses the edit on the target region, while step-wise trajectory preservation maintains consistency between non-target regions and the source asset without directly replacing intermediate features. Since the existing Edit3D-Bench covers only a limited range of local editing categories, we further introduce EditFlow-Bench as a complementary benchmark encompassing a broader variety of structural and appearance edits, and evaluate EditFlow3D on both benchmarks. Quantitative results, qualitative comparisons, and a user study demonstrate that EditFlow3D achieves more accurate target-region editing and better preserves non-target regions than existing 3D editing methods.

Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0: A Unified Multimodal Model for Scalable 3D Generation, Understanding, and Editing

Recent advances in image generation have demonstrated the potential of unified multimodal models that integrate understanding, generation, and editing. However, unified 3D modeling remains constrained by scarce multimodal data, particularly the lack of large-scale and geometrically consistent editing data. To address this limitation, we propose Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0, a unified framework supporting 3D understanding, text-to-3D generation, instruction-guided 3D editing, and text-grounded part generation within a single architecture. To enable scalable training, we construct an 87M-scale 3D multimodal corpus, comprising 25M understanding samples, 50M text-to-3D pairs, and 12M editing pairs generated using Nano3D-v2. Architecturally, the framework combines Hunyuan3D-VLM for semantic, structural, and spatial understanding with Hunyuan3D DiT for high-fidelity 3D synthesis. The VLM provides multimodal semantic conditions for generation, while editing and part generation additionally condition the diffusion process on the source object representation to preserve its overall structure and unedited regions. Extensive experiments show that Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0 achieves state-of-the-art or leading performance on text-to-3D generation and 3D editing benchmarks, while exhibiting strong understanding and part-generation capabilities. Our analysis further shows that both generation and understanding improve editing, demonstrating the effectiveness of unified 3D multimodal training. PartMat: Material-Aware 3D Part Decomposition with a Single Global Latent

Part-level 3D generation has recently attracted increasing attention for producing structured and editable 3D assets. However, existing methods typically decompose objects according to functional semantics rather than the editable material boundaries (e.g., fabric, wood, metal) required in practical 3D applications such as interior design. Additionally, current methods often generate parts independently, causing computational costs to scale linearly with the part count. To address these limitations, we present PartMat, an efficient material-aware 3D part decomposition pipeline that represents multi-part geometry with a single global latent. Given a reference image and a single whole-object geometry, PartMat decomposes the object into parts that follow material boundaries. First, we propose PartVAE to learn such a unified representation and decode all material parts in a single forward pass, thereby decoupling inference cost from the number of parts. Second, with this representation, a diffusion model is trained for part generation and refined via reinforcement learning for accurate material assignment and overlap suppression. Finally, to recover fine-grained geometric details, we introduce a sparse-voxel flow-matching model with part attention for geometry post-processing. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PartMat significantly outperforms existing baselines in material-aware decomposition accuracy and achieves comparable geometric quality, while maintaining efficient inference.

ROAD: Reciprocal-Objective Alignment of Discriminative Semantics for 3D Shape Generation

High-fidelity 3D generation predominantly relies on scaling model capacity and data, which incurs prohibitive computational costs. This paradigm typically requires learning geometry from scratch and overlooks the rich semantic and structural priors already encapsulated in discriminative 3D foundation models. We contend that leveraging the profound understanding of the 3D world possessed by these discriminative models can significantly reduce generative cost. To this end, we propose ROAD, a framework that reduces the training cost of 3D generation by transferring these rich discriminative priors into diffusion transformers. To address the inherent semantic-structural heterogeneity between generative and discriminative latents, we introduce a reciprocal-objective alignment strategy. This method synergizes Holistic Semantic Condensing to enforce global semantic coherence and Structural Optimal Alignment, which is formulated as a bipartite matching problem to rigorously align microscopic geometric details between disparate latent spaces. The 3D foundation model is only used for training-time supervision of alignment and is not used at inference, incurring no additional inference cost. Compared with the industrial baseline Step1X-3D, the proposed ROAD achieves highly competitive generation performance with only 1.5% of the training data and significantly reduces training costs, effectively reducing the computational overhead of high-fidelity 3D generation. ProgFormer: Hierarchical Voxel Diffusion Transformer for Longitudinal Brain MRI Prediction

Predicting future structural MRI of a brain is challenging because longitudinal changes are often subtle and confined to specific anatomical regions, while most subject-specific brain structure remains stable over time. An effective model should therefore preserve global brain structural consistency while remaining sensitive to fine-grained disease progression. Existing latent-space-based methods improve computational efficiency, but suffer from information loss during their compression-reconstruction procedure. In contrast, direct voxel-space methods avoid latent reconstruction but commonly use a unified prediction pathway to model brain structure and progression-related changes. Subtle local changes may therefore be overshadowed by the dominant stable brain structure. To address these challenges, we propose ProgFormer, a hierarchical voxel-space Diffusion Transformer for longitudinal brain MRI prediction. ProgFormer uses a coarse pathway to perform the primary volumetric prediction from 3D patch tokens. This pathway models overall brain structure and longitudinal context. The fine pathway then uses the coarse representations as spatio-temporal grounding for voxel-level refinement within individual patches. The two pathways jointly estimate a velocity field directly in voxel space through conditional flow matching, enabling end-to-end prediction without a separately learned image autoencoder. The predicted future scan is then generated from Gaussian noise by integrating the estimated velocity field over a sequence of Euler steps. Extensive experimental results on three widely used benchmarks, ADNI, AIBL, and OASIS, under both pairwise and trajectory settings demonstrate favourable performance compared against several state-of-the-art methods.

UMI3D: Robust 3D Generation on Unconstrained Multi-Image Inputs via Simultaneous Focus Cross-Attention Routing

Recent 3D foundation models can generate high-quality assets from a single image, but degrade markedly on unconstrained multi-image inputs, often producing distorted geometry, over-smoothed textures, and chaotic colors. We argue that this failure stems not from limited model capacity, but from a mismatch between single-image cross-attention and the multi-image setting: existing models lack a principled way to decide which image each 3D voxel should trust at each denoising step. Revisiting recent single-image 3D foundation models, we show that explicitly routing each voxel to its most informative image is sufficient to unlock strong performance on inconsistent multi-image inputs. Based on this observation, we propose UMI3D, a training-free and plug-and-play framework that restructures cross-attention for unconstrained multi-image 3D generation. Its core, Simultaneous Focus Cross-Attention (SFC-Attn), activates all conditioning images at each denoising step while allowing each voxel to focus on the single image that best explains it. To enable this routing, we derive the Voxel Reference Score (VRS), a model-intrinsic metric for voxel--image affinity that requires no external matching, segmentation, or correspondence models. Extensive experiments show that UMI3D unlocks the multi-image potential of single-image 3D generation frameworks across diverse tasks. Project Page: UMI3D-Project.github.io.

Physics-Guided Generative AI for Property-Targeted 3D Porous Media Design

Inverse design of three-dimensional porous media is central to applications in filtration, catalysis, energy storage, fuel cells, thermal management, and biomedical scaffolds, but remains challenging because many distinct pore geometries can share similar porosity or permeability while small structural changes can strongly affect transport behaviour. This paper proposes a physics-guided generative AI framework for property-targeted porous media design, combining a property-aware variational autoencoder, a conditional latent diffusion model, and an independently trained differentiable structure-to-property surrogate. The framework learns a compact, physically informative latent design space, generates porous structures conditioned on target porosity and directional permeability, and refines generated samples using property-level feedback during denoising and decoding. Experiments on procedurally generated structures and real micro-CT porous-media datasets show improved target-property matching, directional permeability control, and property correlation compared with representative property-aware variational-autoencoder and latent-diffusion baselines. The results demonstrate a scalable route towards controllable inverse design of complex porous geometries and establish a foundation for simulation-informed generative AI tools in engineering and advanced materials discovery.

Scene-SAM3D: Multi-View Scene Asset Generation Without Fine-Tuning

High-quality 3D scene assets are critical for embodied applications such as robotic manipulation, navigation, and simulation. Despite their strong object priors, recent single-image 3D generation models such as SAM3D remain insufficient for real-world scenes, where severe occlusions, redundant observations, and cross-view inconsistencies make reliable scene generation challenging. We introduce Scene-SAM3D, a training-free framework that extends SAM3D from single-view object generation to calibrated multi-view scene asset generation. Scene-SAM3D selects a compact set of complementary views, reducing observation redundancy while providing additional evidence for regions occluded in individual views. Based on the selected views, it performs step-efficient latent velocity fusion to integrate multi-view evidence and suppress cross-view conflicts in canonical space. Finally, a lightweight rigid-object Gaussian optimization refines the scene layout within 200 iterations while preserving the generated object geometry. Experiments on Replica and ScanNet++ demonstrate consistent improvements at both instance and scene levels, with our method reducing scene-level CD by 43.8% on Replica and 30.9% on ScanNet++, while cutting flow-model sampling FLOPs and wall-time latency by nearly 20% under the same multi-view setting. Code will be released at https://github.com/xibi777/Scene-SAM3D.
