HERMES++: Toward a Unified Driving World Model for 3D Scene Understanding and Generation

Driving world models serve as a pivotal technology for autonomous driving by simulating environmental dynamics. However, existing approaches predominantly focus on future scene generation, often overlooking comprehensive 3D scene understanding. Conversely, while Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate impressive reasoning capabilities, they lack the capacity to predict future geometric evolution, creating a significant disparity between semantic interpretation and physical simulation. To bridge this gap, we propose HERMES++, a unified driving world model that integrates 3D scene understanding and future geometry prediction within a single framework. Our approach addresses the distinct requirements of these tasks through synergistic designs. First, a BEV representation consolidates multi-view spatial information into a structure compatible with LLMs. Second, we introduce LLM-enhanced world queries to facilitate knowledge transfer from the understanding branch. Third, a Current-to-Future Link is designed to bridge the temporal gap, conditioning geometric evolution on semantic context. Finally, to enforce structural integrity, we employ a Joint Geometric Optimization strategy that integrates explicit geometric constraints with implicit latent regularization to align internal representations with geometry-aware priors. Extensive evaluations on multiple benchmarks validate the effectiveness of our method. HERMES++ achieves strong performance, outperforming specialist approaches in both future point cloud prediction and 3D scene understanding tasks. The model and code will be publicly released at https://github.com/H-EmbodVis/HERMESV2.

SpatialGrammar: A Domain-Specific Language for LLM-Based 3D Indoor Scene Generation

Automatically generating interactive 3D indoor scenes from natural language is crucial for virtual reality, gaming, and embodied AI. However, existing LLM-based approaches often suffer from spatial errors and collisions, in part because common scene representations-raw coordinates or verbose code-are difficult for models to reason about 3D spatial relationships and physical constraints. We propose SpatialGrammar, a domain-specific language that represents gravity-aligned indoor layouts as BEV grid placements with deterministic compilation to valid 3D geometry, enabling verifiable constraint checking. Building on this representation, we develop (1) SG-Agent, a closed-loop system that uses compiler feedback to iteratively refine scenes and enforce collision constraints, and (2) SG-Mini, a 104M-parameter model trained entirely on compiler-validated synthetic data. Across 159 test scenes spanning five scenarios of different complexity, SG-Agent improves spatial fidelity and physical plausibility over prior methods, while SG-Mini performs competitively against larger LLM-based baselines on single-shot generation scenarios.

CasLayout: Cascaded 3D Layout Diffusion for Indoor Scene Synthesis with Implicit Relation Modeling

Synthesizing realistic 3D indoor scenes remains challenging due to data scarcity and the difficulty of simultaneously enforcing global architectural constraints and local semantic consistency. Existing approaches often overlook structural boundaries or rely on fully connected relation graphs that introduce redundant generation errors. Inspired by human design cognition, we present CasLayout, a cascaded diffusion framework that decomposes the joint scene generation task into four conditional sub-stages with explicit physical and semantic roles: (1) predicting furniture quantity and categories, (2) refining object sizes and feature embeddings, (3) modeling spatial relationships in a latent space, and (4) generating Oriented Bounding Boxes (OBBs). This decoupled architecture reduces data requirements and enables flexible integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Language Models (VLMs) for zero-shot tasks such as image-to-scene generation. To maintain physical validity within complex floor plans, we explicitly model building elements (e.g., walls, doors, and windows) as conditional constraints. Furthermore, to address the high entropy of dense relation graphs, we introduce a sparse relation graph formulation aligned with human spatial descriptions. By encoding these sparse graphs into a compact latent space using a bidirectional Variational Autoencoder (VAE), the proposed framework provides enhanced relational controllability, allowing generated layouts to better respect functional organization. Experiments demonstrate that CasLayout achieves state-of-the-art performance in fidelity and diversity while enabling improved controllability in practical applications.

3D Generation for Embodied AI and Robotic Simulation: A Survey

Embodied AI and robotic systems increasingly depend on scalable, diverse, and physically grounded 3D content for simulation-based training and real-world deployment. While 3D generative modeling has advanced rapidly, embodied applications impose requirements far beyond visual realism: generated objects must carry kinematic structure and material properties, scenes must support interaction and task execution, and the resulting content must bridge the gap between simulation and reality. This survey reviews 3D generation for embodied AI and organizes the literature around three roles that 3D generation plays in embodied systems. In Data Generator, 3D generation produces simulation-ready objects and assets, including articulated, physically grounded, and deformable content for downstream interaction; in Simulation Environments, it constructs interactive and task-oriented worlds, spanning structure-aware, controllable, and agentic scene generation; and in Sim2Real Bridge, it supports digital twin reconstruction, data augmentation, and synthetic demonstrations for downstream robot learning and real-world transfer. We also show that the field is shifting from visual realism toward interaction readiness, and we identify the main bottlenecks, including limited physical annotations, the gap between geometric quality and physical validity, fragmented evaluation, and the persistent sim-to-real divide, that must be addressed for 3D generation to become a dependable foundation for embodied intelligence. Cutscene Agent: An LLM Agent Framework for Automated 3D Cutscene Generation

Cutscenes are carefully choreographed cinematic sequences embedded in video games and interactive media, serving as the primary vehicle for narrative delivery, character development, and emotional engagement. Producing cutscenes is inherently complex: it demands seamless coordination across screenwriting, cinematography, character animation, voice acting, and technical direction, often requiring days to weeks of collaborative effort from multidisciplinary teams to produce minutes of polished content. In this work, we present Cutscene Agent, an LLM agent framework for automated end-to-end cutscene generation. The framework makes three contributions: (1)~a Cutscene Toolkit built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that establishes \emph{bidirectional} integration between LLM agents and the game engine -- agents not only invoke engine operations but continuously observe real-time scene state, enabling closed-loop generation of editable engine-native cinematic assets; (2)~a multi-agent system where a director agent orchestrates specialist subagents for animation, cinematography, and sound design, augmented by a visual reasoning feedback loop for perception-driven refinement; and (3)~CutsceneBench, a hierarchical evaluation benchmark for cutscene generation. Unlike typical tool-use benchmarks that evaluate short, isolated function calls, cutscene generation requires long-horizon, multi-step orchestration of dozens of interdependent tool invocations with strict ordering constraints -- a capability dimension that existing benchmarks do not cover. We evaluate a range of LLMs on CutsceneBench and analyze their performance across this challenging task.

Seed3D 2.0: Advancing High-Fidelity Simulation-Ready 3D Content Generation

We present Seed3D 2.0, an advanced 3D content generation system built on Seed3D 1.0, with substantial improvements across generation fidelity, simulation-ready capabilities, and application coverage. For geometry, a coarse-to-fine two-stage pipeline decouples global structure learning from high-frequency detail recovery, while a locality-aware VAE achieves higher spatial compression and more efficient decoding. For texture and material generation, we replace the cascaded pipeline of Seed3D 1.0 with a unified PBR model that directly generates multi-view albedo and metallic-roughness maps, enhanced by Mixture-of-Experts scaling and VLM-based semantic conditioning for improved material precision and visual fidelity. Beyond single-object generation, Seed3D 2.0 introduces a simulation-ready model suite comprising scene layout planning, part-aware decomposition, and training-free articulation generation, enabling coherent scene construction and part-level physical interaction across physics and graphics engines. A large-scale human preference study against five recent commercial models shows that Seed3D 2.0 achieves consistent win rates of 69.0% to 89.9% in textured 3D asset generation. Dream-Cubed: Controllable Generative Modeling in Minecraft by Training on Billions of Cubes

We introduce Dream-Cubed, a large-scale dataset of Minecraft worlds at voxel resolution, and a family of models using cubes as powerful compositional units for efficient generation of interactive 3D environments. Dream-Cubed comprises tens of billions of tokens from a carefully curated mixture of procedural biome terrain and high-quality human-authored maps. We use this dataset to conduct the first large-scale study of 3D diffusion models for voxel generation, analyzing discrete and continuous diffusion formulations, data compositions, and architectural design choices. Our models operate directly in the space of blocks, enabling efficient and semantically grounded generation while supporting interactive user workflows such as inpainting and outpainting from user-authored blocks. To quantitatively evaluate our models, we adapt the FID metric to assess semantic differences between real and generated world renderings, and validate generation quality through a human preference study. We release the full dataset, code, and all our pretrained models, which we hope will provide a foundation for future research in efficient generative modeling for structured, interactive 3D environments.

SceneOrchestra: Efficient Agentic 3D Scene Synthesis via Full Tool-Call Trajectory Generation

Recent agentic frameworks for 3D scene synthesis have advanced realism and diversity by integrating heterogeneous generation and editing tools. These tools are organized into workflows orchestrated by an off-the-shelf LLM. Current approaches typically adopt an execute-review-reflect loop: at each step, the orchestrator executes a tool, renders intermediate results for review, and then decides on the tool and its parameters for the next step. However, this design has two key limitations. First, next-step tool selection and parameter configuration are driven by heuristic rules, which can lead to suboptimal execution flows, unnecessary tool invocations, degraded output quality, and increased runtime. Second, rendering and reviewing intermediate results after each step introduces additional latency. To address these issues, we propose SceneOrchestra, a trainable orchestration framework that optimizes the tool-call execution flow and eliminates the step-by-step review loop, improving both efficiency and output quality. SceneOrchestra consists of an orchestrator and a discriminator, which we fine-tune with a two-phase training strategy. In the first phase, the orchestrator learns context-aware tool selection and complete tool-call trajectory generation, while the discriminator is trained to assess the quality of full trajectories, enabling it to select the best trajectory from multiple candidates. In the second phase, we perform interleaved training, where the discriminator adapts to the orchestrator's evolving trajectory distribution and distills its discriminative capability back into the orchestrator. At inference, we only use the orchestrator to generate and execute full tool-call trajectories from instructions, without requiring the discriminator. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art scene quality while reducing runtime compared to previous work.

MetaEarth3D: Unlocking World-scale 3D Generation with Spatially Scalable Generative Modeling

Recent generative AI models have achieved remarkable breakthroughs in language and visual understanding. However, although these models can generate realistic visual content, their spatial scale remains confined to bounded environments, preventing them from capturing how geographic environments evolve across thousands of kilometers or from modeling the spatial structure of the large-scale physical world. This limitation poses a critical challenge for ultra-wide-area spatial intelligence in Earth observation and simulation, revealing a deeper gap in generative AI: progress has relied primarily on scaling model parameters and training data, while overlooking spatial scale as a core dimension of intelligence. Here, motivated by this missing dimension, we investigate spatial scale as a new scaling axis in foundation models and present MetaEarth3D, the first generative foundation model capable of spatially consistent generation at the planetary scale. Taking optical Earth observation simulation as a testbed, MetaEarth3D enables the generation of multi-level, unbounded, and diverse 3D scenes spanning large-scale terrains, medium-scale cities, and fine-grained street blocks. Built upon 10 million globally distributed real-world training images, MetaEarth3D demonstrates both strong visual realism and geospatial statistical realism. Beyond generation, MetaEarth3D serves as a generative data engine for diverse virtual environments in ultra-wide spatial intelligence. We argue that this study may help empower next-generation spatial intelligence for Earth observation.

ScenarioControl: Vision-Language Controllable Vectorized Latent Scenario Generation

We introduce ScenarioControl, the first vision-language control mechanism for learned driving scenario generation. Given a text prompt or an input image, Scenario-Control synthesizes diverse, realistic 3D scenario rollouts - including map, 3D boxes of reactive actors over time, pedestrians, driving infrastructure, and ego camera observations. The method generates scenes in a vectorized latent space that represents road structure and dynamic agents jointly. To connect multimodal control with sparse vectorized scene elements, we propose a cross-global control mechanism that integrates crossattention with a lightweight global-context branch, enabling fine-grained control over road layout and traffic conditions while preserving realism. The method produces temporally consistent scenario rollouts from the perspectives different actors in the scene, supporting long-horizon continuation of driving scenarios. To facilitate training and evaluation, we release a dataset with text annotations aligned to vectorized map structures. Extensive experiments validate that the control adherence and fidelity of ScenarioControl compare favorable to all tested methods across all experiments. Repurposing 3D Generative Model for Autoregressive Layout Generation

We introduce LaviGen, a framework that repurposes 3D generative models for 3D layout generation. Unlike previous methods that infer object layouts from textual descriptions, LaviGen operates directly in the native 3D space, formulating layout generation as an autoregressive process that explicitly models geometric relations and physical constraints among objects, producing coherent and physically plausible 3D scenes. To further enhance this process, we propose an adapted 3D diffusion model that integrates scene, object, and instruction information and employs a dual-guidance self-rollout distillation mechanism to improve efficiency and spatial accuracy. Extensive experiments on the LayoutVLM benchmark show LaviGen achieves superior 3D layout generation performance, with 19% higher physical plausibility than the state of the art and 65% faster computation. Our code is publicly available at https://github.com/fenghora/LaviGen.

From Seeing to Simulating: Generative High-Fidelity Simulation with Digital Cousins for Generalizable Robot Learning and Evaluation

Learning robust robot policies in real-world environments requires diverse data augmentation, yet scaling real-world data collection is costly due to the need for acquiring physical assets and reconfiguring environments. Therefore, augmenting real-world scenes into simulation has become a practical augmentation for efficient learning and evaluation. We present a generative framework that establishes a generative real-to-sim mapping from real-world panoramas to high-fidelity simulation scenes, and further synthesize diverse cousin scenes via semantic and geometric editing. Combined with high-quality physics engines and realistic assets, the generated scenes support interactive manipulation tasks. Additionally, we incorporate multi-room stitching to construct consistent large-scale environments for long-horizon navigation across complex layouts. Experiments demonstrate a strong sim-to-real correlation validating our platform's fidelity, and show that extensively scaling up data generation leads to significantly better generalization to unseen scene and object variations, demonstrating the effectiveness of Digital Cousins for generalizable robot learning and evaluation.

Co-generation of Layout and Shape from Text via Autoregressive 3D Diffusion

Recent text-to-scene generation approaches largely reduced the manual efforts required to create 3D scenes. However, their focus is either to generate a scene layout or to generate objects, and few generate both. The generated scene layout is often simple even with LLM's help. Moreover, the generated scene is often inconsistent with the text input that contains non-trivial descriptions of the shape, appearance, and spatial arrangement of the objects. We present a new paradigm of sequential text-to-scene generation and propose a novel generative model for interactive scene creation. At the core is a 3D Autoregressive Diffusion model 3D-ARD+, which unifies the autoregressive generation over a multimodal token sequence and diffusion generation of next-object 3D latents. To generate the next object, the model uses one autoregressive step to generate the coarse-grained 3D latents in the scene space, conditioned on both the current seen text instructions and already synthesized 3D scene. It then uses a second step to generate the 3D latents in the smaller object space, which can be decoded into fine-grained object geometry and appearance. We curate a large dataset of 230K indoor scenes with paired text instructions for training. We evaluate 7B 3D-ARD+, on challenging scenes, and showcase the model can generate and place objects following non-trivial spatial layout and semantics prescribed by the text instructions.

LivingWorld: Interactive 4D World Generation with Environmental Dynamics

We introduce LivingWorld, an interactive framework for generating 4D worlds with environmental dynamics from a single image. While recent advances in 3D scene generation enable large-scale environment creation, most approaches focus primarily on reconstructing static geometry, leaving scene-scale environmental dynamics such as clouds, water, or smoke largely unexplored. Modeling such dynamics is challenging because motion must remain coherent across an expanding scene while supporting low-latency user feedback. LivingWorld addresses this challenge by progressively constructing a globally coherent motion field as the scene expands. To maintain global consistency during expansion, we introduce a geometry-aware alignment module that resolves directional and scale ambiguities across views. We further represent motion using a compact hash-based motion field, enabling efficient querying and stable propagation of dynamics throughout the scene. This representation also supports bidirectional motion propagation during rendering, producing long and temporally coherent 4D sequences without relying on expensive video-based refinement. On a single RTX 5090 GPU, generating each new scene expansion step requires 9 seconds, followed by 3 seconds for motion alignment and motion field updates, enabling interactive 4D world generation with globally coherent environmental dynamics. Video demonstrations are available at paper.pnu-cvsp.com/LivingWorld.

StoryBlender: Inter-Shot Consistent and Editable 3D Storyboard with Spatial-temporal Dynamics

Storyboarding is a core skill in visual storytelling for film, animation, and games. However, automating this process requires a system to achieve two properties that current approaches rarely satisfy simultaneously: inter-shot consistency and explicit editability. While 2D diffusion-based generators produce vivid imagery, they often suffer from identity drift along with limited geometric control; conversely, traditional 3D animation workflows are consistent and editable but require expert-heavy, labor-intensive authoring. We present StoryBlender, a grounded 3D storyboard generation framework governed by a Story-centric Reflection Scheme. At its core, we propose the StoryBlender system, which is built on a three-stage pipeline: (1) Semantic-Spatial Grounding, to construct a continuity memory graph to decouple global assets from shot-specific variables for long-horizon consistency; (2) Canonical Asset Materialization, to instantiate entities in a unified coordinate space to maintain visual identity; and (3) Spatial-Temporal Dynamics, to achieve layout design and cinematic evolution through visual metrics. By orchestrating multiple agents in a hierarchical manner within a verification loop, StoryBlender iteratively self-corrects spatial hallucinations via engine-verified feedback. The resulting native 3D scenes support direct, precise editing of cameras and visual assets while preserving unwavering multi-shot continuity. Experiments demonstrate that StoryBlender significantly improves consistency and editability over both diffusion-based and 3D-grounded baselines. GaussianGPT: Towards Autoregressive 3D Gaussian Scene Generation

Most recent advances in 3D generative modeling rely on diffusion or flow-matching formulations. We instead explore a fully autoregressive alternative and introduce GaussianGPT, a transformer-based model that directly generates 3D Gaussians via next-token prediction, thus facilitating full 3D scene generation. We first compress Gaussian primitives into a discrete latent grid using a sparse 3D convolutional autoencoder with vector quantization. The resulting tokens are serialized and modeled using a causal transformer with 3D rotary positional embedding, enabling sequential generation of spatial structure and appearance. Unlike diffusion-based methods that refine scenes holistically, our formulation constructs scenes step-by-step, naturally supporting completion, outpainting, controllable sampling via temperature, and flexible generation horizons. This formulation leverages the compositional inductive biases and scalability of autoregressive modeling while operating on explicit representations compatible with modern neural rendering pipelines, positioning autoregressive transformers as a complementary paradigm for controllable and context-aware 3D generation.

WorldMesh: Generating Navigable Multi-Room 3D Scenes via Mesh-Conditioned Image Diffusion

Recent progress in image and video synthesis has inspired their use in advancing 3D scene generation. However, we observe that text-to-image and -video approaches struggle to maintain scene- and object-level consistency beyond a limited environment scale without a persistent, explicit geometric representation. We thus present a geometry-first approach that decouples this complex problem of large-scale 3D scene synthesis into its structural composition, represented as a mesh scaffold, and realistic appearance synthesis, which leverages powerful image synthesis models conditioned on the mesh scaffold. From an input text description, we first construct a mesh capturing the environment's geometry (walls, floors, etc.), and then use image synthesis, segmentation and object reconstruction to populate the mesh structure with objects in realistic layouts. This mesh scaffold is then rendered to condition image synthesis, providing a structural backbone for consistent appearance generation. This enables scalable, arbitrarily-sized 3D scenes of high object richness and diversity, combining robust 3D consistency with photorealistic detail. We believe this marks a significant step toward generating truly environment-scale, immersive 3D worlds.

Interact3D: Compositional 3D Generation of Interactive Objects

Recent breakthroughs in 3D generation have enabled the synthesis of high-fidelity individual assets. However, generating 3D compositional objects from single images--particularly under occlusions--remains challenging. Existing methods often degrade geometric details in hidden regions and fail to preserve the underlying object-object spatial relationships (OOR). We present a novel framework Interact3D designed to generate physically plausible interacting 3D compositional objects. Our approach first leverages advanced generative priors to curate high-quality individual assets with a unified 3D guidance scene. To physically compose these assets, we then introduce a robust two-stage composition pipeline. Based on the 3D guidance scene, the primary object is anchored through precise global-to-local geometric alignment (registration), while subsequent geometries are integrated using a differentiable Signed Distance Field (SDF)-based optimization that explicitly penalizes geometry intersections. To reduce challenging collisions, we further deploy a closed-loop, agentic refinement strategy. A Vision-Language Model (VLM) autonomously analyzes multi-view renderings of the composed scene, formulates targeted corrective prompts, and guides an image editing module to iteratively self-correct the generation pipeline. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Interact3D successfully produces promising collsion-aware compositions with improved geometric fidelity and consistent spatial relationships.

Scene Generation at Absolute Scale: Utilizing Semantic and Geometric Guidance From Text for Accurate and Interpretable 3D Indoor Scene Generation

We present GuidedSceneGen, a text-to-3D generation framework that produces metrically accurate, globally consistent, and semantically interpretable indoor scenes. Unlike prior text-driven methods that often suffer from geometric drift or scale ambiguity, our approach maintains an absolute world coordinate frame throughout the entire generation process. Starting from a textual scene description, we predict a global 3D layout encoding both semantic and geometric structure, which serves as a guiding proxy for downstream stages. A semantics- and depth-conditioned panoramic diffusion model then synthesizes 360° imagery aligned with the global layout, substantially improving spatial coherence. To explore unobserved regions, we employ a video diffusion model guided by optimized camera trajectories that balances coverage and collision avoidance, achieving up to 10x faster sampling compared to exhaustive path exploration. The generated views are fused using 3D Gaussian Splatting, yielding a consistent and fully navigable 3D scene in absolute scale. GuidedSceneGen enables accurate transfer of object poses and semantic labels from layout to reconstruction, and supports progressive scene expansion without re-alignment. Quantitative results and a user study demonstrate greater 3D consistency and layout plausibility compared to recent panoramic text-to-3D baselines.

Geometry-Aware Single-Image 4D Synthesis via Dense Trajectory Generation

Generating interactive and dynamic 4D scenes from a single static image remains a core challenge. Most existing generate-then-reconstruct and reconstruct-then-generate methods decouple geometry from motion, causing spatiotemporal inconsistencies and poor generalization. To address these, we present MoGe4D (Motion and Geometry-Aware image-to-4D Synthesis), a geometry-conditioned framework for single-image 4D synthesis that models a scene as dense 4D point trajectories. Instead of treating geometry and dynamics as two disconnected stages, our method starts from an initial geometric prior inferred from the input image and predicts future time-varying trajectories in a diffusion process, improving spatiotemporal coherence while preserving structural stability. To support this task, we first introduce TrajScene-60K, a large-scale dataset of 60,000 video samples with dense 4D point trajectories, addressing the scarcity of high-quality training data for scene-level 4D generation. Built on this, our diffusion-based 4D Scene Trajectory Generator (4D-STraG) predicts geometry-consistent and motion-plausible trajectory fields conditioned on the input image, with a depth-guided motion normalization strategy to reduce scale ambiguity and a Motion Perception Module (MPM) to inject motion-aware priors. We further propose a 4D View Synthesis Module (4D-ViSM) to render the generated 4D representation into videos under arbitrary camera trajectories. Experiments show that MoGe4D produces high-quality 4D scenes with strong temporal coherence, favorable geometry-aware consistency, and compelling novel-view synthesis from a single image. TabletopGen: Tabletop Scene Generation and Interactive Simulation for Robotic Manipulation

Simulation provides a low-cost, scalable pathway to large-scale robotic manipulation data collection. However, existing 3D scene generation methods can rarely be applied directly to manipulation data synthesis, as their generated scenes often lack instance-level interactivity and physical plausibility. Focusing on tabletop manipulation, we propose TabletopGen, a training-free and automated tabletop scene generation and interactive simulation engine. Starting from text or a single image, we first obtain independent 3D object models via generative instance extraction. Second, we introduce a novel pose and scale alignment approach that recovers a collision-free scene layout using a Differentiable Rotation Optimizer and a Top-View Spatial Alignment mechanism. Finally, we assemble the generated scene in a physics simulator with collision geometry, yielding a stable, interactable environment for synthesizing multimodal manipulation data. Extensive experiments and user studies demonstrate that TabletopGen achieves state-of-the-art performance in visual fidelity, layout accuracy, and physical plausibility. Furthermore, we validate the executability of the collected trajectories on a real robotic arm via zero-shot real-to-sim-to-real policy transfer, indicating that TabletopGen can serve as a reliable data engine for robotic manipulation data synthesis.

GeoWorld: Providing Full-frame Geometry Features to Facilitate 3D Scene Generation

Previous works that leverage video models for image-to-3D scene generation often suffer from geometric distortions and blurry content. Using video generation models to implicitly maintain geometric consistency according to a single-frame input is ineffective. In this paper, we present a two-stage method, named GeoWorld\textbf{GeoWorld}, that renovates the image-to-3D scene generation pipeline by providing full-frame geometry features. The first-stage video generation model, followed by a multi-view geometry model, produces full-frame\textbf{full-frame} geometry features, which are then used as a mental draft of geometric conditions to aid the second-stage video-generation model. A geometric loss is proposed to impose real-world geometric constraints, and a geometry adaptation module is introduced to ensure the effective utilization of geometry features. Thanks to full-frame geometric modeling, the two smaller video models in our two-stage method can generate higher-fidelity 3D scenes than SOTA methods, while being even faster, e.g. 7.5×\times faster than Hunyuan-Voyager. LaGen: Towards Autoregressive LiDAR Scene Generation

Generative world models for autonomous driving (AD) are of great value in applications such as data augmentation, closed-loop simulation, and safety-critical scenario evaluation. Unlike the widely studied image modality, in this work we explore generative world models for LiDAR data. Existing generation methods for LiDAR predominantly focus on single frame generation or lack the capacity for interactive simulation, while existing prediction approaches require multiple frames of historical input and can only deterministically predict multiple frames at once. Both paradigms fail to support long-horizon interactive generation. To this end, we introduce \textbf{LaGen}, which, to the best of our knowledge is the first autoregressive framework capable of generating long-horizon LiDAR scenes in a frame-by-frame, interactive manner. LaGen is able to take a single-frame input as a starting point and effectively utilize bounding box information as conditions to generate high-fidelity 4D scene. In addition, we introduce a scene decoupling estimation module to enhance the model's interactive generation capability for object-level content, as well as a noise modulation module to mitigate error accumulation during long-horizon generation. We extensively evaluate LaGen's performance in controlled data generation and long-horizon scene generation on the nuScenes dataset. The experimental results demonstrate that LaGen achieves state-of-the-art performance, especially on later frames. The code is publicly available at: https://github.com/szzhou88/LaGen.

Sat2RealCity: Geometry-Aware and Appearance-Controllable 3D Urban Generation from Satellite Imagery

3D urban generation from satellite imagery is an important task for scalable digital twins and real-world simulation environments. Existing approaches primarily rely on scene-level generation paradigms, which often require large-scale 3D city assets and struggle with controllability, geographic alignment, and realistic appearance grounding in real-world urban environments. To address these limitations, we present Sat2RealCity, a grounded urban generation framework that leverages object-level 3D generative priors for scalable city synthesis from satellite imagery. Our framework decomposes cities into geographically grounded building entities, enabling the reuse of pretrained object-level 3D generative priors while preserving real-world spatial structures. Supported by our constructed BuildVerse3D dataset, (1) we introduce an OpenStreetMap (OSM)-guided spatial grounding strategy to inject geospatial constraints into the 3D generation process; (2) we design an appearance-guided controllable generation mechanism for realistic architectural appearance and regional style consistency; and (3) we construct an MLLM-powered semantic pipeline for regional appearance understanding and semantic-aware appearance synthesis. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Sat2RealCity achieves strong geographic alignment, regional stylistic consistency, and plausible urban asset synthesis compared with existing urban generation and 3D asset generation approaches.

Apples on the Table? Evaluating Text-Guided 3D Scene Synthesis via Fine-Grained Constraint Verification

Accurately synthesizing 3D scenes from user-provided text descriptions is crucial for developing embodied agents. Despite the importance of scene-description alignment, existing evaluation methods for such text-guided 3D scene synthesis either capture only coarse similarity between the synthesized scene and the user description, or ignore the spatial reasoning for verifying object placement. None of them addressed the fine-grained constraints (e.g., X needs to be in the scene in a Y manner) implied by the description from users. To address this, we introduce LEGO, a benchmark dataset that pairs each user description with human-annotated constraints and a reference scene, and LEGO-Eval, an evaluation framework that decomposes a description into atomic constraints and verifies each one using tools that ground textual references to 3D objects and reason about their spatial relationships. We show that (i) LEGO-Eval evaluates misalignment far more accurately than existing methods and (ii) current scene synthesis approaches achieve at most 10% success rate in LEGO-Eval.

Skyfall-GS: Synthesizing Immersive 3D Urban Scenes from Satellite Imagery

Synthesizing large-scale, explorable, and geometrically accurate 3D urban scenes is a challenging yet valuable task for immersive and embodied applications. The challenge lies in the lack of large-scale and high-quality real-world 3D scans for training generalizable generative models. In this paper, we take an alternative route to create large-scale 3D scenes by leveraging readily available satellite imagery for realistic coarse geometry and open-domain diffusion models for high-quality close-up appearance synthesis. We propose Skyfall-GS, a novel hybrid framework that synthesizes immersive city-block scale 3D urban scenes by combining satellite reconstruction with diffusion refinement, eliminating the need for costly 3D annotations, and also featuring real-time, immersive 3D exploration. We tailor a curriculum-driven iterative refinement strategy to progressively enhance geometric completeness and photorealistic texture. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Skyfall-GS provides improved cross-view consistent geometry and more realistic textures compared to state-of-the-art approaches. 3D Software Synthesis Driven by Constraint-Expressive Intermediate Representation

Graphical user interface (UI) software has undergone a fundamental transformation from traditional two-dimensional (2D) desktop/web/mobile interfaces to spatial three-dimensional (3D) environments. While existing work has made remarkable success in automated 2D software generation, such as HTML/CSS and mobile app interface code synthesis, the generation of 3D software still remains under-explored. Current methods for 3D software generation usually generate the 3D environments as a whole and cannot modify or control specific elements in the software. Furthermore, these methods struggle to handle the complex spatial and semantic constraints inherent in the real world. To address the challenges, we present Scenethesis, a novel requirement-sensitive 3D software synthesis approach that maintains formal traceability between user specifications and generated 3D software. Scenethesis is built upon ScenethesisLang, a domain-specific language that serves as a granular constraint-aware intermediate representation (IR) to bridge natural language requirements and executable 3D software. It serves both as a comprehensive scene description language enabling fine-grained modification of 3D software elements and as a formal constraint-expressive specification language capable of expressing complex spatial constraints. By decomposing 3D software synthesis into stages operating on ScenethesisLang, Scenethesis enables independent verification, targeted modification, and systematic constraint satisfaction. Our evaluation demonstrates that Scenethesis accurately captures over 80% of user requirements and satisfies more than 90% of hard constraints while handling over 100 constraints simultaneously. Furthermore, Scenethesis achieves a 42.8% improvement in BLIP-2 visual evaluation scores compared to the state-of-the-art method.

GIF: Agentic Generation of Interactive and Functional Object Compositions for Robot Learning

Robot manipulation foundation models require scalable evaluation and data generation across diverse scenarios, with simulation providing an environment for both. Automated scene generation offers a promising path, yet prior work has largely emphasized coarse-grained scene layouts rather than fine-grained functional object compositions. Motivated by this gap, we present GIF, an agentic Generation framework for Interactive and Functional object compositions. In this framework, we recast this problem as disentangled reconstruction followed by relative pose recovery. CoGen produces instance-disentangled meshes with coarse initial poses leveraging complementary strengths of 2D and 3D generative models. GPRM refines the relative pose under joint geometric and physical guidance, and a VLM verifier selects the candidate that best matches the structured specification. We further construct a benchmark spanning eight representative contact-geometry classes and compare with state-of-the-art generators; GIF improves both asset quality and relation matching, while reducing collision rate to below 1%. Finally, we synthesize data for policy learning, revealing diversity scaling in both simulation and real-world deployment.
