SewFusion: Tailored Generation of Topology and Panel-Level Geometry for Sewing Patterns

Generating sewing patterns from images and text requires modeling a heterogeneous representation composed of discrete topology and continuous geometry. Existing methods mainly follow two paradigms: diffusion-based methods enable holistic geometry generation by converting the entire pattern into a continuous representation, but weaken discrete topology modeling; in contrast, autoregressive methods preserve discrete topology through next-token prediction, but tie continuous geometry regression to token-level hidden states with limited panel-level context. To bridge this gap, we propose SewFusion, a unified autoregressive framework that adopts tailored generation mechanisms for discrete topology and panel-level continuous geometry, using next-token prediction for the former and flow matching for the latter. To support panel-level continuous geometry generation, we introduce a Panel Geometry VAE that learns a fixed-size latent space for variable-length panel geometry, together with Panel Geometry Flow for latent generation. We further propose Panel-Forcing to reduce the training--inference mismatch in topology context and improve robustness to topology prediction errors. Extensive experiments on SewFactory and GCD-MM demonstrate that SewFusion consistently outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods across various settings, achieving +6.36% Panel Accuracy, +11.30% Stitch Accuracy, and -1.90 Vertex L2 error in the image-text-based generation setting.

SenseFuse: Label-Free Fusion of Image and Shape Encoders for Open-Vocabulary 3D Instance Segmentation

Open-vocabulary scene understanding is fundamental for robotics, laying the groundwork for spatial reasoning and object manipulation. While closed-vocabulary 3D instance segmentation heavily leverages 3D shape information, state-of-the-art open-vocabulary methods remain predominantly restricted to 2D image features or image-distilled representations during mask labeling. In this paper, we propose SenseFuse, a label-free fusion method that balances 2D image and 3D shape encoders for robust open-vocabulary 3D instance segmentation, refining only the mask-labeling stage of existing pipelines. We reveal that 2D image and 3D shape encoders exhibit largely disjoint failure patterns and rarely share identical wrong labels, whereas two 2D image encoders frequently repeat the same errors. This distinct behavior makes the 2D and 3D pair inherently complementary. We introduce an adaptive mechanism that selects a scene-level fusion weight to maximize a label-free sensitivity measure, estimated directly from a single scene's unlabeled proposals in milliseconds. SenseFuse improves labeling accuracy in every evaluated setting across ScanNet200, Replica, and ScanNet++, recovering 67-100% (median 93%) of the gain achievable with an oracle weight, and it raises instance AP in 21 of 22 reported settings. Residual Optimal Transport-Based Experts Collaboration Towards Modality-Aware Infrared-Visible Object Detection

Infrared-visible object detection (IVOD) integrates complementary evidence from visible and infrared sensors for reliable perception in challenging scenes. In practice, sensors may fail or drop frames, leaving one modality unavailable or intermittent. Existing methods for IVOD assume both modalities are always present, and fixed fusion collapses when one stream is missing. Furthermore, it remains a critical challenge to reliably estimate semantic correlation across heterogeneous modalities, especially under spectral distribution discrepancy. We present FlexibleFusion, a unified and adaptive method that flexibly allocates integration pathways and fusion strength, operating seamlessly across complete and missing-modality regimes. At its core, the Modality-Aware Experts Collaboration (MAEC) mechanism selectively activates and aggregates cross-modal or intra-modal expert pathways. It allows cross-modal fusion when full modalities are available and falls back to self-fusion under missing conditions. Additionally, we design Residual Self-Paced Entropic Optimal Transport (RSPEOT) to align heterogeneous feature distributions from a transport perspective. Instead of relying on the fixed sparsity coefficient in standard entropic optimal transport (EOT), RSPEOT introduces a residual-driven self-paced update that prioritizes reliable matches and progressively refines harder ones. This design alleviates the additional optimization burden of standard EOT while preserving reliable semantic alignment. Comprehensive experiments under complete and missing-modality protocols show consistent performance across arbitrary modality configurations. Code will be released upon publication.

A Borel Concept Class of VC Dimension One with a Non-PAC Consistent Learner in ZFC

The fundamental theorem of statistical learning states that, under suitable measurability assumptions, finite Vapnik--Chervonenkis (VC) dimension guarantees that every proper consistent learning rule is probably approximately correct (PAC). Blumer, Ehrenfeucht, Haussler, and Warmuth showed, assuming the Continuum Hypothesis, that the "well-behavedness" condition of the concept class cannot be omitted: they constructed a concept class of Borel sets of VC dimension one admitting a consistent learning rule that is not PAC. We show that the Continuum Hypothesis is unnecessary. Working in Zermelo--Fraenkel set theory with the Axiom of Choice (ZFC) alone, we construct a concept class of Borel sets on [0,1][0,1] of VC dimension one and a proper consistent learning rule that is not PAC. More precisely, for a suitable Borel probability measure and target concept, the rule has true risk one at every sample size on a set of samples of outer probability one. Consequently, finite VC dimension and Borel measurability of the individual concepts do not suffice to guarantee that every proper consistent learning rule is PAC. The result shows, with no need of extra set-theoretical assumptions, that the additional regularity assumption in the fundamental theorem cannot in general be omitted.

P2Fusion: Prompt-based Progressive Infrared-Visible Image Fusion via Dual-Prior Distillation

Infrared-visible image fusion (IVIF) is pivotal for multimodal perception, yet reconciling the inherent information disparity between thermal and textural features remains a fundamental challenge. Existing prior-guided methods often rely on static constraints that induce optimization conflicts or utilize extrinsic semantic priors from large-scale foundation models (e.g., CLIP/DINO), which frequently fail to exploit the intrinsic modality characteristics essential for high-fidelity fusion. To address these issues, we propose P2Fusion, a prior-guided distillation-based framework that reformulates IVIF via dual intrinsic prompts. Instead of imposing hard-coded penalties, we distill image-intrinsic priors, thermal saliency and spatial quality, into learnable dynamic regulators. Specifically, a Teach-to-Fuse mechanism provides dual-granularity progressive guidance, coupled with a Gated Dynamic Expert Recalibration (GDER) module for decoupled feature refinement. This design enables the network to adaptively mediate modal competition through expert specialization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that P2Fusion achieves state-of-the-art performance across five mainstream datasets. Notably, our framework demonstrates consistent performance advantages in fusion quality, achieving state-of-the-art results in 14 out of 20 key evaluation metrics across 5 benchmarks. Furthermore, it effectively contributes to the robustness of downstream perception, such as +3.2% mAP on MSRS, +0.5% mAP on M3FD and +0.9% mAP on DroneVehicle for object detection. Our code will be available at https://github.com/YiShi99/P2Fusion

BeyondFusion: Self-Aligned Latent Diffusion for Calibration-Free Infrared Super-Resolution and Infrared-Visible Fusion

Mobile infrared-visible imaging typically pairs a compact infrared sensor with a high-resolution visible camera for complementary perception. While cross-sensor misalignment caused by different optics, viewpoints, fields of view, and exposure timings hinders practical deployment. In this paper, we propose BeyondFusion, a unified latent diffusion framework for calibration-free visible-guided infrared super-resolution and infrared-visible fusion tasks. The proposed framework supports both task-specific training and joint training where two tasks are optimized and executed as two readouts of the same generative process. Instead of relying on explicit registration or geometric warping, BeyondFusion introduces a cross-modal self-aligning (CMSA) module into the denoising U-Net. CMSA reorganizes infrared and visible latent tokens into a shared attention space to learn content-adaptive cross-modal correspondence during the denoising process. Together with misalignment augmentation module, the model is facilitated to exploit visible structural and semantic cues while preserving thermal consistency, enabling high-frequency infrared reconstruction and informative fused-image generation under uncalibrated conditions. Extensive experiments on public benchmarks and a mobile infrared-visible imaging system show strong performance across aligned inputs, low-resolution infrared observations, synthetic misalignments, and real mobile captures with unsynchronized sensors. Ablation studies, unified training analysis, and downstream pedestrian detection further validate the effectiveness of BeyondFusion for calibration-free multimodal imaging.

Coarse-to-fine Framework for Generative MEF via Implicit Neural Representation

Multi-exposure fusion (MEF) expands the luminance range beyond what a single exposure can capture. Combining images taken at different exposure levels requires handling geometric differences while naturally merging their complementary brightness information. It often demands generative completion where details are missing. Diffusion-based generative methods address these challenges, however, they are computationally expensive and struggle to preserve fine structures in saturated regions. We propose LIIFusion, a coarse-to-fine framework that balances fusion quality and efficiency in generative MEF. The coarse stage performs low resolution generative fusion, enhanced by an adaptive exposure correction that recovers structure lost in saturated over-exposed areas. The fine stage adapts a local implicit image function into a multi-exposure fusion function: conditioned on the HR OE/UE sources and the coarse output, it queries arbitrary target coordinates and fuses source evidence regardless of the HR input resolution. LIIFusion achieves up to 3.5×\times speed-up over existing generative methods while maintaining or improving structural fidelity and perceptual quality. We believe this framework provides an effective pathway toward making generative MEF more practical in real-world applications.

WQ-Fusion: Dynamic Gated Attention for Cross-Domain Audio Representation

While pre-trained models excel in specialized tasks, learning universal representations across diverse acoustic domains remains challenging. To address this, we propose WQ-Fusion, a robust dual-encoder framework for cross-domain audio representation learning. Overcoming the limitations of static concatenation, WQ-Fusion integrates whisper and qwen via an Adaptive Feature Modulation module and a novel element-wise gated attention mechanism. This design enables dynamic feature selection, allowing the model to selectively emphasize relevant acoustic and semantic dimensions. Extensive experiments on the Interspeech 2026 Audio Encoder Capability Challenge (Track A) benchmark demonstrate that by effectively routing heterogeneous information, WQ-Fusion achieves a superior overall score of 0.836, significantly outperforming the strongest single-encoder baseline.

ADM-Fusion: Adaptive Deep Multi-Sensor Fusion for Robust Ego-Motion Estimation in Diverse Conditions

Robust multi-sensor fusion is essential for reliable autonomy in diverse and degraded environments, where sensor reliability can fluctuate rapidly. Because different modalities fail in distinct ways, effective fusion should adaptively balance complementary cues rather than rely on fixed weighting. This adaptability is particularly important for ego-motion estimation, since accurate updates depend on the consistent integration of complementary sensor information. We propose ADM-Fusion, an end-to-end deep learning based multi-sensor fusion method designed to adapt to environmental changes and sensor degradation. ADM-Fusion employs an adaptive sensor mixture-of-experts framework with content-aware routing to dynamically assign weights to sensor inputs in real time. The system further incorporates separate translation and rotation branches, coupled through a cross-task attention mechanism to preserve task-specific specialization while enabling information sharing. ADM-Fusion is trained on the CARLA-LOC simulated dataset and subsequently fine-tuned on KITTI real-world data, demonstrating effective simulation-to-real transfer. Experiments show that ADM-Fusion remains robust under degraded conditions while maintaining competitive performance against existing methods.

FusionRS: A Large-Scale RGB-Infrared Remote Sensing Dataset for Dual-Modal Vision-Language Foundation Models

Remote sensing vision-language models have advanced Earth observation understanding, but most existing work remains centered on RGB imagery, leaving the complementary information in infrared data underexplored. Infrared images provide distinctive cues, including thermal intensity structures, object boundaries, and illumination-invariant scene features, which can enrich visual-language learning beyond conventional RGB observations. However, a large-scale RGB-infrared-text dataset for remote sensing vision-language modeling is still absent. To address this gap, we introduce FusionRS, the first large-scale RGB-infrared-text dataset designed for dual-modal vision-language learning in remote sensing. FusionRS is constructed by translating diverse public RGB remote sensing images into infrared-style counterparts, forming aligned RGB-IR image pairs. Each pair is associated with conventional scene captions and IR-aware captions that explicitly describe infrared-specific visual properties while preserving semantic content. Based on FusionRS, we train dual-modal vision-language foundation models for RGB-IR joint understanding. We first train CLIP-style models for RGB-IR-text alignment, and then fine-tune generative VLMs for dual-modal RGB-IR captioning. Experiments show that FusionRS improves RGB-IR alignment, infrared-to-text retrieval, and dual-modal captioning over RGB-only and non-IR-aware training settings. Ablation studies further verify that IR-aware captions are crucial for strengthening infrared-language alignment, highlighting the importance of modality-specific textual supervision for more scalable RGB-infrared remote sensing vision-language representation learning.

FusionCore: A 23-State Unscented Kalman Filter for IMU, Wheel Encoder, GPS, and Visual SLAM Fusion in ROS 2

We present FusionCore, an open-source ROS 2 sensor fusion package that fuses IMU, wheel encoder odometry, GPS, and Visual SLAM pose into a single 100 Hz odometry stream using a 23-state Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF). The 23rd state is an online estimate of the wheel encoder's systematic yaw rate bias, identified through GPS heading cross-covariance and subtracted during GPS blackouts to reduce heading drift in coast mode. FusionCore also estimates gyroscope and accelerometer biases as explicit filter states, handles GPS natively in ECEF without a separate coordinate projection node, applies per-sensor Mahalanobis chi-squared outlier gating calibrated to measurement degrees of freedom, and adapts sensor noise covariance automatically from the innovation sequence. VSLAM pose fusion enables GPS-denied operation with any visual odometry or SLAM system, including automatic recovery from map reinitialization. We evaluate against robot_localization on twelve full-length sequences (55-92 min each) from the NCLT public dataset. FusionCore achieves lower Absolute Trajectory Error (ATE) on ten of twelve sequences, with improvements ranging from 1.2x to 22.2x on winning sequences. The robot_localization UKF diverges numerically on all twelve sequences. FusionCore is available at https://github.com/manankharwar/fusioncore under the Apache 2.0 license.

FusionSense: Tri-Stage Near-Sensor Learning for Runtime-Adaptive Multimodal Edge Intelligence

Autonomous systems and smart-industry deployments increasingly split computation across near-sensor, edge, and cloud resources, where tight energy, latency, and reliability budgets demand run-time adaptivity. In practice, deciding what to compute and transmit at each point is pivotal; yet as multimodal sensor suites (cameras, LiDAR/depth, etc.) proliferate at the edge, most prior approaches either (i) fuse modalities on powerful servers or (ii) apply uni-modal near-sensor filters that ignore cross-modal dependencies, leading to redundant transmissions or missed events. We present FusionSense, a fusion-aware intelligent sensing framework for energy-constrained autonomous edge systems. Lightweight near-sensor classifiers are trained via a three-step procedure: (i) a server-side fusion model learns the downstream task, (ii) filter-out-safe (FoS) labels quantify each modality's necessity relative to the fused decision, and (iii) an edge-side fusion model is compacted by injecting near-sensor predictions as auxiliary signals. The result is a run-time decision layer that jointly reduces compute and communication while scaling linearly with sensor count. On a dual-modality (RGB+Depth/LiDAR) setup with SynDrone, FusionSense sustains task quality at substantially higher data-reduction rates than uni-modal filters and delivers large end-to-end gains: up to 33x lower energy at 1% FoI prevalence, 11x at 10%, a 92.3% reduction in quality loss at a fixed 30% data reduction, and roughly 1.5x higher energy savings than the best prior filtering baseline.

FusionCell: Cross-Attentive Fusion of Layout Geometry and Netlist Topology for Standard-Cell Performance Prediction

Standard cells form the building blocks of digital circuits, so their delay and power critically influence chip-level performance; yet characterization still relies on slow simulation sweeps, and many fast predictors ignore layout geometry, missing coupling and layout-dependent effects. The challenge is to jointly represent layout geometry and netlist topology so models capture fine-grained spatial details together with structural connectivity for accurate performance prediction. We introduce FusionCell, a dual-modality predictor that treats routed layout geometry and netlist topology as inputs and fuses them explicitly in a unified model. A DeiT encoder processes three-layer routed layouts, while a graph transformer models heterogeneous device/net graphs. The modalities are integrated through a topology-guided mechanism, where the netlist acts as a structural "map" to actively query relevant physical regions in the layout for joint geometric and topological reasoning. We build a 7nm dataset based on the ASAP7 PDK with over 19.5k cells spanning 149 types using automatic tools, targeting six metrics: signal rise/fall delay, transition, and power. Experimental results demonstrate that FusionCell reduces regression error, with an average MAPE of 0.92 percent, and improves Spearman/Kendall ranking over baselines, while accelerating the characterization process by orders of magnitude compared to circuit simulation.

EAPFusion: Intrinsic Evolving Auxiliary Prior Guidance for Infrared and Visible Image Fusion

Infrared-visible image fusion aims to create an information-rich fused image by integrating the complementary thermal saliency from infrared sensing and fine textures from visible imaging. Such accurate fusion is essential for real-world perception applications in complex scenes, including nighttime autonomous driving, search and rescue, and surveillance, and can further benefit downstream tasks such as semantic segmentation. However, most existing fusion methods rely upon static trained weights that cannot adapt to scene-specific content at inference time, and often suffer from a granularity mismatch when coarse auxiliary semantics are injected, which makes it difficult to simultaneously highlight targets and preserve details. In this work, we propose EAPFusion to address these issues by using self-evolving intrinsic priors instead of relying on external auxiliary models. Concretely, EAPFusion maintains a compact set of intrinsic priors and progressively updates them across scales. These evolved priors are utilized to dynamically generate convolutional kernels, shifting the paradigm from fixed, pre-trained filters to instance-adaptive parameters via prior-conditioned dynamic convolution. Furthermore, we design a channel-level fusion module that shuffles and interleaves infrared and visible channels, applying local channel mixing to boost cross-modal complementarity. Experiments on different datasets, including cross-dataset evaluation and semantic segmentation, show that the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art quantitative and qualitative fusion results, and consistently boosts downstream performance. Code is coming soon.

Tempora-Fusion: Time-Lock Puzzle with Efficient Verifiable Homomorphic Linear Combination

We present Tempora-Fusion, the first homomorphic TLP scheme with efficient public verification of both individual puzzle solutions and homomorphic linear combinations. Tempora-Fusion lets clients generate puzzles independently, later authorize a linear combination with its own release time, and enables any party to verify the released result without trusted setup or costly asymmetric-key proof systems. Technically, our construction maps independently generated RSA-based puzzles into a common finite field, uses oblivious linear evaluation to refresh blinding factors during evaluation, and embeds a hidden verification structure by encoding messages as polynomials with committed secret roots. We formalize verifiable homomorphic linear-combination TLPs, prove privacy and solution validity in this model, and capture the setting in which the evaluation result may be released before the underlying client puzzles are opened. Our prototype implementation shows that verifying an evaluated result takes less than 3 ms.
