Human Rendering
Human rendering aims to create realistic, dynamic 3D models of humans from various input data, such as videos or single images, for applications in virtual reality, animation, and conferencing. Current research heavily focuses on addressing challenges like occlusions and limited input data, employing techniques like Gaussian splatting, neural radiance fields (NeRFs), and transformers to achieve high-fidelity, real-time rendering. These advancements improve the efficiency and realism of human representation, impacting fields requiring accurate and dynamic human modeling, such as virtual production and extended reality experiences.
