Overview

3D diffusion models learn distributions over three-dimensional objects and environments, enabling new content generation, completion of partial observations, and editing of existing geometry. They diffuse over voxels, point clouds, meshes, Gaussian primitives, or compact latent tokens, using denoising networks, diffusion transformers, and flow-matching methods, often conditioned on text, images, sketches, measurements, or spatial layouts. Applications span object benchmarks such as ShapeNet and Objaverse, driving scenes and LiDAR, medical MRI and CT, CAD, and molecular structures. A central challenge is scaling to detailed, large scenes while preserving topology, physical plausibility, and consistency across views; compact latents and coarse-to-fine generation help, but trade-offs in fidelity, control, data, and inference cost remain.

TCAM-Diff: Triplane-Aware Cross-Attention Medical Diffusion Model

We introduce TCAM-Diff, a novel 3D medical image generation model that reduces the memory requirements to encode and generate high-resolution 3D data. This model utilizes a decoder-only autoencoder method to learn triplane representation from dense volume and leverages generalization operations to prevent overfitting. Subsequently, it uses a triplane-aware cross-attention diffusion model to learn and integrate these features effectively. Furthermore, the features generated by the diffusion model can be rapidly transformed into 3D volumes using a pre-trained decoder module. Our experiments on three different scales of medical datasets, BrainTumour 128 x 128 x 128, Pancreas 256 x 256 x 256, and Colon 512 x 512 x 512, demonstrate outstanding results. We utilized MSE and SSIM to assess reconstruction quality and leveraged the Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network (W-GAN) critic to assess generative quality. Comparisons with existing approaches show that our method gives better reconstruction and generation results than other encoder-decoder methods with similar-sized latent spaces.

Nexus: Native Mesh Generation with Diffusion

Generating high-quality triangle meshes is essential for film, gaming, and interactive 3D applications. Mainstream methods rely on mesh serialization and autoregressive processes, which stuggles in effective inference and is sensitive to error accumulation. In this paper, we present Nexus, a diffusion method that achieves holistic mesh generation via decoupled vertex and topology generation. First, we view mesh vertices as sparse voxels organized as an octree and adopt a diffusion model to generate the vertices in a coarse-to-fine manner. Second, for topology modeling, we propose Spacetime Interval, as an extension of Spacetime Distance to encode arbitrary edge and face topology into continuous per-vertex embeddings. It allows for a global and efficient recovery of complex topology. We then employ a diffusion model to generate the continuous embeddings on the generated vertices. Extensive experiments on the Objaverse and Toys4K datasets and in-the-wild images demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art autoregressive and two-stage baselines, effectively circumventing the inherent limitations of sequential mesh modeling. A blind user study from 3D practitioners confirms strong perceptual preference for our results.

DiffGI: Differentiable Geometry Images for High-Fidelity Thin-Shell 3D Generation

Existing 3D generative models predominantly rely on implicit volumetric representations, which enforce watertight topology and struggle to represent thin-shell and non-manifold geometries such as garments. Geometry image-based approaches offer a surface-centric alternative, but existing methods rely on discrete binary occupancy maps whose resolution-dependent boundary encoding causes staircase artifacts and information loss upon downsampling, while surface reconstruction remains a non-differentiable post-processing step disconnected from the learning pipeline. To address this, we propose Differentiable Geometry Image (DiffGI), an end-to-end 3D-to-2D mapping framework that seamlessly integrates surface representation and geometric optimization. DiffGI replaces binary maps with a continuous 2D Truncated Signed Distance Function (TSDF), which encodes boundary position at subpixel precision within a fixed grid resolution, eliminating resolution-dependent staircase artifacts even under aggressive downsampling. Building on this continuous field, we introduce a differentiable Marching Squares algorithm based on analytical linear interpolation, allowing gradients from 3D surface losses to propagate back to the 2D latent space. Leveraging this differentiable pipeline, we train a DiffGI-VAE augmented with a geometry-aware normal rendering loss to compress complex 3D surfaces into an ultra-compact 32X32 latent space, and instantiate a transformer-based latent diffusion model with a flow-matching objective on top of this space for conditional 3D generation. Extensive experiments on garment and object datasets demonstrate that our method achieves superior reconstruction fidelity and boundary precision compared to prior geometry-image and voxel-based approaches, while requiring significantly fewer computational resources.

EquiFusion: Kinematics-Agnostic Human Motion Prediction via Equivariant Latent Diffusion

Existing Stochastic 3D Human Motion Prediction models are fundamentally constrained by hard-coding the skeleton kinematics, severely limiting generalization, preventing cross-dataset training, and requiring complex data retargeting. We introduce EquiFusion, the first kinematics-agnostic model to solve this bottleneck, implementing a latent diffusion model with a permutation equivariant architecture. EquiFusion treats the kinematics' connectivity as an explicit input parameter, ensuring its internal computations are inherently agnostic to joint ordering and graph structure. This novel design enables truly cross-dataset generalization to unseen kinematics and unlocks novel zero-shot directions, such as motion prediction from partial or occluded observations and targeted limb generation. EquiFusion achieves state-of-the-art results on major benchmarks, being up to 75% more compact than previous kinematics-specific methods, while achieving faster training and inference. EquiFusion thus establishes a new, flexible standard for robust human motion prediction. Model and training code are available at https://ceveloper.github.io/publications/equifusion/.

3D Scene Graph Prediction: Generating Hierarchical Models from Partially Observed Environments

Generating realistic 3D indoor scenes is an area of growing interest in computer vision and robotics. Existing methods, often motivated by applications such as interior design, generally focus on object layout generation within a single room. The generation of high-level scene structure, such as room-level layout and traversability, remains underexplored despite its importance for robotics applications. In this paper, we consider the case where a robot has explored part of an environment and needs to predict the unexplored parts to support downstream tasks such as exploration or object search. We propose a top-down framework for synthesizing hierarchical 3D scene graphs, including a room layer -- describing the floor plan and traversability -- and an object layer modeling object layouts within each room. For the room layer, we propose a novel mixed-domain graph diffusion model jointly predicting room categories, floor boundaries, and traversability between rooms. Via corruption and masking, this model supports partial constraints such as incomplete floor plans, avoiding the need for partially observed training data. For the object layer, we integrate an existing mixed discrete-continuous diffusion model for joint prediction of object categories, locations, sizes, and orientations within each room given the floor plan. We compare our method with state-of-the-art occupancy-based and LLM-based floor plan generation methods on a standard benchmark. Compared with an occupancy-based learning baseline, our method generalizes substantially better to out-of-distribution partial floor plans. We also demonstrate our integrated prediction pipeline on real-world scenes from robot-collected data, enabling prediction beyond explored areas.

SynCity 3000: Bootstrapping Scene-Scale 3D Diffusion

We present SynCity 3000, a framework for generating 3D scenes that are globally coherent while enabling fine-grained layout control. Building on the ability of current image-to-3D generators to produce complex 3D assets from a single image, we extend this capability to the scale of entire scenes by adapting the generator to be applicable as a convolutional operator. We achieve this by fine-tuning the model on scene-like data generated by a new synthetic data engine, which we propose to address the scarcity of 3D scene data for training. The convolutional generator is then applied to a dimetric image of the entire scene, generated from the user prompt, resulting in 3D scenes of arbitrary size and complexity. Across diverse prompts and layouts, SynCity 3000 produces large, coherent, and detailed scenes, addressing the shortcomings of prior approaches to 3D scene generation.

PixWorld: Unifying 3D Scene Generation and Reconstruction in Pixel Space

3D reconstruction and generation are commonly tackled by separate paradigms: pixel-based regression for reconstruction, and latent diffusion for generation. Recent works attempt to unify them in latent space, but with notable drawbacks: the diffusion objective is defined on latent features rather than the underlying 3D representation, and both branches suffer from information loss introduced by latent encoding, while requiring a pretrained Variational Autoencoder (VAE) or Representation Autoencoder (RAE). In this paper, we reformulate these two tasks under a unified pixel-space diffusion paradigm and introduce PixWorld, a single model that jointly addresses 3D reconstruction and generation. By supervising diffusion directly on rendered images, PixWorld removes the above limitations and aligns optimization with 3D scene fidelity. Beyond photometric and perceptual supervision that operates at the 2D image level and lacks 3D geometric awareness, we further introduce a geometry perception loss that aligns rendered views with their ground truth in the geometry-aware feature space of a pretrained 3D foundation model, providing 3D structural supervision. PixWorld consistently outperforms prior latent-space generation methods and matches state-of-the-art reconstruction methods, demonstrating the superiority of a unified pixel-space approach.

PointDiT: Pixel-Space Diffusion for Monocular Geometry Estimation

State-of-the-art single-image 3D reconstruction methods often rely on complex hybrid architectures and loss functions, or compress geometry into latent spaces in order to leverage pre-trained latent diffusion models. In this work, we show that such architectural overhead and intricate loss formulations are unnecessary. We introduce a minimalist pixel-space Diffusion Transformer, built on a plain ViT, that operates directly on raw 3D point map patches and is conditioned on image tokens from a pre-trained DINOv3. Unlike existing latent diffusion approaches, we train our diffusion backbone entirely from scratch, eliminating the need for point map tokenizers. Despite its simplicity, our approach surpasses complex latent-based diffusion models while remaining significantly simpler than hybrid alternatives. Notably, it produces sharper geometric structure and is more robust in highly ambiguous regions, such as transparent objects.

Rethinking 3D Shape Generation: Diffusion over Superquadrics

Diffusion models have advanced 3D shape generation, yet most methods still denoise in high-cardinality spaces (e.g., voxel/SDF grids, meshes, or point clouds), which is computationally and memory intensive and makes it difficult to scale in terms of both higher resolution and stronger controllability. We rethink the diffusion representation and propose to move diffusion from dense geometry to compact geometric primitives, representing each shape as a small set of superquadrics. Instead of operating on thousands to millions of geometric representation values, we leverage 7KB superquadric parameters (pose, size, and shape), drastically reducing diffusion-state dimensionality and per-step compute/memory. Our diffusion-over-superquadrics improves scalability by supporting broader capabilities (e.g., resolution-free point-cloud decoding, part-level editing, and constraint-based design) and achieving competitive surface-fidelity and distributional performance on standard benchmarks after point-cloud decoding, while enabling efficient generation within 0.6s per shape for most conditions.

PatchScene: Patch-based Voxel Diffusion for Large-Scale Scene Completion

We propose PatchScene, a novel diffusion-based framework for large-scale LiDAR scene completion. Unlike existing methods that rely on global latent representations or dense voxel grids, PatchScene adopts a patch-based voxel diffusion paradigm that explicitly generates fine-grained geometry within localized 3D regions. To ensure coherent reconstruction at both spatial and temporal scales, we introduce a confidence-guided spatio-temporal fusion mechanism that integrates overlapping patches and adjacent frames in a unified generative process. Furthermore, we design an Annular-Flow diffusion strategy that leverages the radial density pattern of LiDAR scans to progressively propagate high-fidelity information from near-range to far-range regions, enabling spatially unbounded scene completion. Extensive experiments on the SemanticKITTI benchmark demonstrate that PatchScene achieves state-of-the-art performance across all standard metrics, surpassing previous approaches in both geometric accuracy and temporal consistency. Remarkably, the model trained on 20 m LiDAR ranges generalizes effectively to 50 m scenes without retraining, highlighting its strong scalability and generalization capability for real-world autonomous driving applications.

Uncertainty-Calibrated Diffusion for Reliable 3D Molecular Graph Generation

Bayesian inference provides a principled framework for modeling epistemic uncertainty in neural networks by treating predictions as distributions rather than deterministic values. Meanwhile, diffusion-based models for 3D molecular graph generation operate on fragile geometric structures governed by strict chemical constraints, making inference highly sensitive to uncertainty miscalibration. A largely overlooked issue is that epistemic uncertainty arising from the learned denoiser interacts with the aleatoric uncertainty intentionally injected during reverse diffusion, leading to systematic variance inflation and a mismatch between the true distribution and the simulated distribution. This effect is particularly detrimental for high-precision molecular generation, where even small deviations can violate chemical validity. In this work, we provide a theoretical and empirical analysis of how epistemic uncertainty propagates through diffusion inference and degrades sampling quality. Building on this investigation, we propose UCD (Uncertainty-Calibrated Diffusion), a simple yet effective method that calibrates the reverse diffusion process to account for epistemic uncertainty. Extensive experiments on standard 3D molecular benchmarks demonstrate that UCD consistently improves sampling quality across diverse baseline methods, establishing new state-of-the-art performance for 3D molecular diffusion. The code is available at https://github.com/jiuguaiwf/UCD.

Structural Energy Guidance for View-Consistent Text-to-3D Generation

Text-to-3D generation based on diffusion models often suffers from the Janus problem, leading to inconsistent geometry across viewpoints. This work identifies viewpoint bias in 2D diffusion priors as the main cause and proposes Structural Energy-Guided Sampling (SEGS), a training-free and plug-and-play framework to improve multi-view consistency. SEGS constructs a structural energy in the PCA subspace of U-Net features and injects its gradient into the denoising process. It can be easily integrated into SDS/VSD pipelines without retraining. Experiments show that SEGS reduces the Janus Rate by about 10% on average and improves View-CS scores across multiple baselines, including DreamFusion, Magic3D, and LucidDreamer. This method effectively alleviates viewpoint artifacts while preserving appearance fidelity, providing a flexible solution for high-quality text-to-3D content generation.

Img2CADSeq: Image-to-CAD Generation via Sequence-Based Diffusion

Boundary Representation (BRep) is the standard format for Computer-Aided Design (CAD), yet reconstructing high-quality BReps from single-view images remains challenging due to the complexity of topological constraints and operation sequences. We present Img2CADSeq, a multi-stage pipeline that overcomes these limitations by encoding CAD sequences into a three-level hierarchical codebook. Guided by an importance prioritization, this strategy values profiles over details, compressing long sequences into a stable discrete latent space. To bridge the modality gap, we leverage a coarse-to-fine point cloud intermediate, aligning 2D visual features with 3D CAD sequences via contrastive learning to condition a VQ-Diffusion model. Supported by newly introduced CAD-220K and PrintCAD datasets, our approach ensures robust industrial domain adaptation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Img2CADSeq significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods, producing standard STEP files that can be directly used in commercial CAD software.

Probability-Flow Distillation: Exact Wasserstein Gradient Flow for High-Fidelity 3D Generation

Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) and its variants have been widely used for text-to-3D generation by distilling 2D image diffusion priors. However, the standard SDS objective is prone to severe mode collapse, frequently yielding over-smoothed and over-saturated results. Although recent advancements, such as Score Distillation via Inversion (SDI), mitigate these artifacts and produce visually sharper models, they ultimately fail to faithfully capture the full target distribution. In this work, we show that the bottleneck limiting the sampling capacity of SDI stems from its reliance on the posterior mean estimator, which is mathematically equivalent to a single-step Euler approximation of the deterministic reverse DDIM trajectory. To address this, we propose a naturally motivated extension termed Probability-Flow Distillation (PFD). We establish that PFD corresponds exactly to a Wasserstein gradient flow, thereby inducing principled distribution-matching dynamics. Finally, we show that PFD can synthesize 3D assets with fine-grained, high-fidelity details and achieve improved quality compared to existing methods.

DVD: Discrete Voxel Diffusion for 3D Generation and Editing

We introduce Discrete Voxel Diffusion (DVD), a discrete diffusion framework to generate, assess, and edit sparse voxels for SLat (Structured LATent) based 3D generative pipelines. Although discrete diffusion has not generally displaced continuous diffusion in image-like generation, we show that it can be an effective first-stage prior for sparse voxel scaffolds. By treating voxel occupancy as a native discrete variable, DVD avoids continuous-to-discrete thresholding and provides a simple framework for voxel generation, uncertainty estimation, and editing. Beyond quality gains, DVD provides more interpretable generation dynamics through explicit categorical modeling. Furthermore, we leverage the predictive entropy as a robust uncertainty metric to identify ambiguous voxel regions and complicated samples, facilitating tasks such as data filtering and quality assessment. Finally, we propose a lightweight fine-tuning strategy using block-structured perturbation patterns. This approach empowers the model to inpaint and edit voxels within a single sampling round, requiring negligible auxiliary computation and no additional model evaluations. Code is available at https://github.com/TeCai/DVD.

Hyper-DP3: Frequency-Aware Right-Sizing of 3D Diffusion Policies for Visuomotor Control

Diffusion-based visuomotor policies perform well in robotic manipulation, yet current methods still inherit image-generation-style decoders and multi-step sampling. We revisit this design from a frequency-domain perspective. Robot action trajectories are highly smooth, with most energy concentrated in a few low-frequency discrete cosine transform modes. Under this structure, we show that the error of the optimal denoiser is bounded by the low-frequency subspace dimension and residual high-frequency energy, implying that denoising error saturates after very few reverse steps. This also suggests that action denoising requires a much simpler denoising model than image generation. Motivated by this insight, we propose Hyper-DP3 (HDP3), a pocket-scale 3D diffusion policy with a lightweight Diffusion Mixer decoder that supports two-step DDIM inference. Our synthetic experiments validate the theory and support the sufficiency of two-step denoising. Futhermore, across RoboTwin2.0, Adroit, MetaWorld, and real-world tasks, HDP3 achieves state-of-the-art performance with fewer than 1% of the parameters of prior 3D diffusion-based policies and substantially lower inference latency.

InpaintSLat: Inpainting Structured 3D Latents via Initial Noise Optimization

We present a training-free approach for controllable 3D inpainting based on initial noise optimization. In the structured 3D latent diffusion framework, we observe that the underlying geometric structure is established during the early stages of the diffusion process and exhibits high sensitivity to the initial noise. Such characteristics compromise stability in tasks like inpainting and editing, where the model must ensure strict alignment with the existing context while synthesizing a new structure. In this paper, we introduce a strategy to optimize the initial noise within the structured 3D latent diffusion framework, ensuring high-fidelity 3D inpainting. Specifically, we update the initial noise by leveraging a backpropagation approximation grounded in the rectified flow model, with the spectral parameterization specially designed for robust and efficient structured 3D latent optimization. Experiments demonstrate consistent improvements in contextual consistency and prompt alignment over representative training-free inpainting baselines, establishing initial noise control as an independent dimension for 3D inpainting, orthogonal to conventional sampling trajectory manipulation.

Pose-Aware Diffusion for 3D Generation

Generating pose-aligned 3D objects is challenging due to the spatial mismatches and transformation ambiguities inherent in decoupled canonical-then-rotate paradigms. To this end, we introduce Pose-Aware Diffusion (PAD), a novel end-to-end diffusion framework that synthesizes 3D geometry directly within the observation space. By unprojecting monocular depth into a partial point cloud and explicitly injecting it as a 3D geometric anchor, PAD abandons canonical assumptions to enforce rigorous spatial supervision. This native generation intrinsically resolves pose ambiguity, producing high-fidelity pose-aligned assets. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PAD achieves superior geometric alignment and image-to-3D correspondence compared to state-of-the-art methods. Additionally, PAD naturally extends to compositional 3D scene reconstruction via a simple union of independently generated objects, highlighting its robust ability to preserve precise spatial layouts.

REVIVE 3D: Refinement via Encoded Voluminous Inflated prior for Volume Enhancement

Recent generative models have shown strong performance in generating diverse 3D assets from 2D images, a fundamental research topic in computer vision and graphics. However, these models still struggle to generate voluminous 3D assets when the input is a flat image that provides limited 3D cues. We introduce REVIVE 3D, a two-stage, plug-and-play pipeline for generating voluminous 3D assets from flat images. In Stage 1, we construct an Inflated Prior by inflating the foreground silhouette to recover global volume and superimposing part-aware details to capture local structure. In Stage 2, 3D Latent Refinement injects Gaussian noise into the Inflated Prior's latent and then denoises it, using the prior's geometric cues to leverage the backbone's pretrained 3D knowledge. Furthermore, our framework supports image-conditioned 3D editing. To quantify volume and surface flatness, we propose Compactness and Normal Anisotropy. We validate Compactness and Normal Anisotropy through a user study, showing that these metrics align with human perception of volume and quality. We show that REVIVE 3D achieves state-of-the-art performance on a challenging flat image dataset, based on extensive qualitative and quantitative evaluations.

GenAssets: Generating in-the-wild 3D Assets in Latent Space

High-quality 3D assets for traffic participants are critical for multi-sensor simulation, which is essential for the safe end-to-end development of autonomy. Building assets from in-the-wild data is key for diversity and realism, but existing neural-rendering based reconstruction methods are slow and generate assets that render well only from viewpoints close to the original observations, limiting their usefulness in simulation. Recent diffusion-based generative models build complete and diverse assets, but perform poorly on in-the-wild driving scenes, where observed actors are captured under sparse and limited fields of view, and are partially occluded. In this work, we propose a 3D latent diffusion model that learns on in-the-wild LiDAR and camera data captured by a sensor platform and generates high-quality 3D assets with complete geometry and appearance. Key to our method is a "reconstruct-then-generate" approach that first leverages occlusion-aware neural rendering trained over multiple scenes to build a high-quality latent space for objects, and then trains a diffusion model that operates on the latent space. We show our method outperforms existing reconstruction and generation based methods, unlocking diverse and scalable content creation for simulation.

VS-DDPM: Efficient Low-Cost Diffusion Model for Medical Modality Translation

Diffusion models produce high-quality synthetic data but suffer from slow inference. We propose 3D Variable-Step Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Model (VS-DDPM) a framework engineered to maintain generative quality while accelerating inference by several factors. We tested our approach on four tasks (missing MRI, tumor removal, MRI-to-sCT, and CBCT-to-sCT) within the BraTS2025 and SynthRAD2025 challenges. Designed for high efficiency under hardware and time constrains imposed by both challenges. VS-DDPM achieved state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance in missing MRI synthesis, yielding Dice scores of 0.80, 0.83, and 0.88 for the enhancing tumor, tumor core, and whole tumor regions, respectively, alongside a structural similarity index (SSIM) of 0.95. For MRI tumor removal, the model attained a root mean squared error (RMSE) of 0.053, a peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of 26.77, and an SSIM of 0.918. While the framework demonstrated competitive performance in MRI-to-sCT and CBCT-to-sCT tasks, it did not reach SOTA benchmarks, potentially due to sensitivities in data pre and post-processing pipelines or specific loss function configurations. These results demonstrate that VS-DDPM provides a robust and tunable solution for high-fidelity 3D medical image synthesis. Dream-Cubed: Controllable Generative Modeling in Minecraft by Training on Billions of Cubes

We introduce Dream-Cubed, a large-scale dataset of Minecraft worlds at voxel resolution, and a family of models using cubes as powerful compositional units for efficient generation of interactive 3D environments. Dream-Cubed comprises tens of billions of tokens from a carefully curated mixture of procedural biome terrain and high-quality human-authored maps. We use this dataset to conduct the first large-scale study of 3D diffusion models for voxel generation, analyzing discrete and continuous diffusion formulations, data compositions, and architectural design choices. Our models operate directly in the space of blocks, enabling efficient and semantically grounded generation while supporting interactive user workflows such as inpainting and outpainting from user-authored blocks. To quantitatively evaluate our models, we adapt the FID metric to assess semantic differences between real and generated world renderings, and validate generation quality through a human preference study. We release the full dataset, code, and all our pretrained models, which we hope will provide a foundation for future research in efficient generative modeling for structured, interactive 3D environments.

Any 3D Scene is Worth 1K Tokens: 3D-Grounded Representation for Scene Generation at Scale

Scene-level 3D generation has long been dominated by 2D multi-view or video diffusion models. Typically, these 2D-based approaches perform scene generation in a 2D latent space, which introduces two fundamental issues: (i) representing 3D scenes via 2D views leads to significant representation redundancy, and (ii) latent space rooted in 2D inherently limits the spatial consistency of the generated scenes. In this paper, we propose to perform 3D scene generation directly within a high-dimensional implicit 3D latent space derived from powerful 2D foundation models (e.g., DINOv2, SigLIP2, DA3). Then we tame diffusion transformers to perform diffusion modeling directly in the 3D latent space, enabling 3D-grounded scene generation. In our experiments, we not only demonstrate the advantages of our method over 2D-based approaches in terms of efficiency and spatial consistency, but also comprehensively analyze the impact of 3D latent representation on 3D scene generation performance. Furthermore, we validate the favorable scalability of our method with respect to representation and model capacity.

GenLCA: 3D Diffusion for Full-Body Avatars from In-the-Wild Videos

We present GenLCA, a diffusion-based generative model for generating and editing photorealistic full-body avatars from text and image inputs. The generated avatars are faithful to the inputs, while supporting high-fidelity facial and full-body animations. The core idea is a novel paradigm that enables training a full-body 3D diffusion model from partially observable 2D data, allowing the training dataset to scale to millions of real-world videos. This scalability contributes to the superior photorealism and generalizability of GenLCA. Specifically, we scale up the dataset by repurposing a pretrained feed-forward avatar reconstruction model as an animatable 3D tokenizer, which encodes unstructured video frames into structured 3D tokens. However, most real-world videos only provide partial observations of body parts, resulting in excessive blurring or transparency artifacts in the 3D tokens. To address this, we propose a novel visibility-aware diffusion training strategy that replaces invalid regions with learnable tokens and computes losses only over valid regions. We then train a flow-based diffusion model on the token dataset, inherently maintaining the photorealism and animatability provided by the pretrained avatar reconstruction model. Our approach effectively enables the use of large-scale real-world video data to train a diffusion model natively in 3D. We demonstrate the efficacy of our method through diverse and high-fidelity generation and editing results, outperforming existing solutions by a large margin. SEM-ROVER: Semantic Voxel-Guided Diffusion for Large-Scale Driving Scene Generation

Scalable generation of outdoor driving scenes requires 3D representations that remain consistent across multiple viewpoints and scale to large areas. Existing solutions either rely on image or video generative models distilled to 3D space, harming the geometric coherence and restricting the rendering to training views, or are limited to small-scale 3D scene or object-centric generation. In this work, we propose a 3D generative framework based on ΣΣ-Voxfield grid, a discrete representation where each occupied voxel stores a fixed number of colorized surface samples. To generate this representation, we train a semantic-conditioned diffusion model that operates on local voxel neighborhoods and uses 3D positional encodings to capture spatial structure. We scale to large scenes via progressive spatial outpainting over overlapping regions. Finally, we render the generated ΣΣ-Voxfield grid with a deferred rendering module to obtain photorealistic images, enabling large-scale multiview-consistent 3D scene generation without per-scene optimization. Extensive experiments show that our approach can generate diverse large-scale urban outdoor scenes, renderable into photorealistic images with various sensor configurations and camera trajectories while maintaining moderate computation cost compared to existing approaches.

3D-Fixer: Coarse-to-Fine In-place Completion for 3D Scenes from a Single Image

Compositional 3D scene generation from a single view requires the simultaneous recovery of scene layout and 3D assets. Existing approaches mainly fall into two categories: feed-forward generation methods and per-instance generation methods. The former directly predict 3D assets with explicit 6DoF poses through efficient network inference, but they generalize poorly to complex scenes. The latter improve generalization through a divide-and-conquer strategy, but suffer from time-consuming pose optimization. To bridge this gap, we introduce 3D-Fixer, a novel in-place completion paradigm. Specifically, 3D-Fixer extends 3D object generative priors to generate complete 3D assets conditioned on the partially visible point cloud at the original locations, which are cropped from the fragmented geometry obtained from the geometry estimation methods. Unlike prior works that require explicit pose alignment, 3D-Fixer uses fragmented geometry as a spatial anchor to preserve layout fidelity. At its core, we propose a coarse-to-fine generation scheme to resolve boundary ambiguity under occlusion, supported by a dual-branch conditioning network and an Occlusion-Robust Feature Alignment (ORFA) strategy for stable training. Furthermore, to address the data scarcity bottleneck, we present ARSG-110K, the largest scene-level dataset to date, comprising over 110K diverse scenes and 3M annotated images with high-fidelity 3D ground truth. Extensive experiments show that 3D-Fixer achieves state-of-the-art geometric accuracy, which significantly outperforms baselines such as MIDI and Gen3DSR, while maintaining the efficiency of the diffusion process. Code and data will be publicly available at https://zx-yin.github.io/3dfixer.

HiDiGen: Hierarchical Diffusion for B-Rep Generation with Explicit Topological Constraints

Boundary representation (B-rep) is the standard 3D modeling format in CAD systems, encoding both geometric primitives and topological connectivity. Despite its prevalence, deep generative modeling of valid B-rep structures remains challenging due to the intricate interplay between discrete topology and continuous geometry. In this paper, we propose HiDiGen, a hierarchical generation framework that decouples geometry modeling into two stages, each guided by explicitly modeled topological constraints. Specifically, our approach first establishes face-edge incidence relations to define a coherent topological scaffold, upon which face proxies and initial edge curves are generated. Subsequently, multiple Transformer-based diffusion modules are employed to refine the geometry by generating precise face surfaces and vertex positions, with edge-vertex adjacencies dynamically established and enforced to preserve structural consistency. This progressive geometry hierarchy enables the generation of more novel and diverse shapes, while two-stage topological modeling ensures high validity. Experimental results show that HiDiGen achieves strong performance, generating novel, diverse, and topologically sound CAD models.

RecGen3D: Reconstruction-Guided 3D Generation in a Shared Canonical Space

Sparse-view 3D modeling represents a fundamental tension between reconstruction fidelity and generative plausibility. While feed-forward reconstruction excels in efficiency and input alignment, it often lacks the global priors needed for structural completeness. Conversely, diffusion-based generation provides rich geometric details but struggles with multi-view consistency. We present RecGen3D, a framework that combines these two paradigms into a cooperative system. To overcome inherent conflicts in coordinate spaces, 3D representations, and training objectives, we align both models within a shared canonical space. We employ decoupled cooperative learning, which maintains stable training while enabling seamless collaboration during inference. Specifically, the reconstruction module is adapted to provide canonical geometric anchors, while the diffusion generator leverages latent-augmented conditioning to refine and complete the geometric structure. Experimental results demonstrate that RecGen3D achieves superior fidelity and robustness, outperforming existing methods in creating complete and consistent 3D models from sparse observations.

Extend3D: Town-Scale 3D Generation

In this paper, we propose Extend3D, a training-free pipeline for 3D scene generation from a single image, built upon an object-centric 3D generative model. To overcome the limitations of fixed-size latent spaces in object-centric models for representing wide scenes, we extend the latent space in the xx and yy directions. Then, by dividing the extended latent space into overlapping patches, we apply the object-centric 3D generative model to each patch and couple them at each time step. Since patch-wise 3D generation with image conditioning requires strict spatial alignment between image and latent patches, we initialize the scene using a point cloud prior from a monocular depth estimator and iteratively refine occluded regions through SDEdit. We discovered that treating the incompleteness of 3D structure as noise during 3D refinement enables 3D completion via a concept, which we term under-noising. Furthermore, to address the sub-optimality of object-centric models for sub-scene generation, we optimize the extended latent during denoising, ensuring that the denoising trajectories remain consistent with the sub-scene dynamics. To this end, we introduce 3D-aware optimization objectives for improved geometric structure and texture fidelity. We demonstrate that our method yields better results than prior methods, as evidenced by human preference and quantitative experiments.

Stepper: Stepwise Immersive Scene Generation with Multiview Panoramas

The synthesis of immersive 3D scenes from text is rapidly maturing, driven by novel video generative models and feed-forward 3D reconstruction, with vast potential in AR/VR and world modeling. While panoramic images have proven effective for scene initialization, existing approaches suffer from a trade-off between visual fidelity and explorability: autoregressive expansion suffers from context drift, while panoramic video generation is limited to low resolution. We present Stepper, a unified framework for text-driven immersive 3D scene synthesis that circumvents these limitations via stepwise panoramic scene expansion. Stepper leverages a novel multi-view 360° diffusion model that enables consistent, high-resolution expansion, coupled with a geometry reconstruction pipeline that enforces geometric coherence. Trained on a new large-scale, multi-view panorama dataset, Stepper achieves state-of-the-art fidelity and structural consistency, outperforming prior approaches, thereby setting a new standard for immersive scene generation.
