Pose-Aware Diffusion for 3D Generation

Generating pose-aligned 3D objects is challenging due to the spatial mismatches and transformation ambiguities inherent in decoupled canonical-then-rotate paradigms. To this end, we introduce Pose-Aware Diffusion (PAD), a novel end-to-end diffusion framework that synthesizes 3D geometry directly within the observation space. By unprojecting monocular depth into a partial point cloud and explicitly injecting it as a 3D geometric anchor, PAD abandons canonical assumptions to enforce rigorous spatial supervision. This native generation intrinsically resolves pose ambiguity, producing high-fidelity pose-aligned assets. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PAD achieves superior geometric alignment and image-to-3D correspondence compared to state-of-the-art methods. Additionally, PAD naturally extends to compositional 3D scene reconstruction via a simple union of independently generated objects, highlighting its robust ability to preserve precise spatial layouts.

MeshReGen: A Unified 3D Geometry Regeneration Framework

We consider the problem of regenerating 3D objects from 2D images and initial 3D shapes. Most 3D generators operate in a one-shot fashion, converting text or images to a 3D object with limited controllability. We introduce instead MeshReGen, a 3D regenerator that is conditioned on an initial 3D shape. This conceptually simple formulation allows us to support numerous useful tasks, including 3D enhancement, reconstruction, and editing. MeshReGen uses a new conditioning mechanism based on VecSet, which allows the regenerator to update or improve the input geometry with consistent fine-grained details. MeshReGen learns a widely applicable regeneration prior from off-the-shelf 3D datasets via self-supervised pretext tasks and augmentations, without additional annotations. We evaluate both the geometric consistency and fine-grained quality of MeshReGen, achieving state-of-the-art performance in controllable 3D generation across several tasks.

ProcFunc: Function-Oriented Abstractions for Procedural 3D Generation in Python

We introduce ProcFunc, a library for Blender-based procedural 3D generation in Python. ProcFunc provides a library of easy-to-use Python functions, which streamline creating, combining, analyzing, and executing procedural generation code. ProcFunc makes it easy to create large-scale diverse training data, by combinatorial compositions of semantic components. VLMs can use ProcFunc to edit procedural material and geometry code and can create new procedural code with significantly fewer coding errors. Finally, as an example use case, we use ProcFunc to develop a new procedural generator of indoor rooms, which includes a collection of new compositional procedural materials. We demonstrate the detail, runtime efficiency, and diversity of this room generator, as well as its use for 3D synthetic data generation. AlphaJet: Automated Conceptual Aircraft Synthesis via Disentangled Generative Priors and Topology-Preserving Evolutionary Search

Conceptual aircraft design is traditionally an expert-mediated iterative process in which a human designer proposes a configuration, runs low-order physics, inspects the result, and re-proposes. We present AlphaJet, an end-to-end automated synthesis pipeline that closes this loop. From a textual mission specification (mass, range, cruise speed, hard size envelope, engine count, areal density) AlphaJet evolves a feasible 3D aircraft in real time, scored by a transparent multi-disciplinary fitness function covering aerodynamics, structures, weights, stability, packaging, and geometric mount consistency. Three contributions distinguish our approach: (i) an Anatomically-Disentangled Variational Autoencoder (AD-VAE) whose first 25 latent dimensions are supervised to align with named anatomical parameters, providing an interpretable shape prior; (ii) a topology-elitist genetic algorithm that protects the best individual from each of five tail topologies and triggers stagnation restarts, preventing premature collapse to a single configuration; and (iii) mount-aware geometric scoring that computes signed penetration between engines and other structural parts, eliminating the redundant artifacts common in generative aircraft models. The full loop runs interactively on a CPU and streams every generation to a browser viewer, making it a practical real-world automation tool for early-phase design-space exploration.

PhyloSDF: Phylogenetically-Conditioned Neural Generation of 3D Skull Morphology via Residual Flow Matching

Generating novel, biologically plausible three-dimensional morphological structures is a fundamental challenge in computational evolutionary biology, hampered by extreme data scarcity and the requirement that generated shapes respect phylogenetic relationships among species. In this work, we present PhyloSDF, a phylogenetically-conditioned neural generative model for 3D biological morphology that integrates two innovations: (1) a DeepSDF auto-decoder regularized by a novel Phylogenetic Consistency Loss that structures the latent space to correlate with evolutionary distances (Pearson r=0.993); (2) a Residual Conditional Flow Matching (Residual CFM) architecture that factorizes generation into analytic species-centroid lookup and learned residual prediction, enabling generation from as few as ~4 specimens per species. We evaluate PhyloSDF on 100 micro-CT-scanned skulls of Darwin's Finches and their relatives across 24 species. The model generates novel meshes achieving 88-129% of real intra-species variation at the code level, with all 180 generated meshes verified as non-memorized. Residual CFM surpasses denoising diffusion (which fails entirely at this scale), standard flow matching (which mode-collapses to 3-6% variation), and a Gaussian mixture baseline in both fidelity (Chamfer Distance 0.00181 vs. 0.00190) and morphometric Fréchet distance (10,641 vs. 13,322). Leave-one-species-out experiments across 18 species demonstrate phylogenetic extrapolation capability, and smooth latent interpolations produce biologically plausible ancestral skull reconstructions.

IAM: Identity-Aware Human Motion and Shape Joint Generation

Recent advances in text-driven human motion generation enable models to synthesize realistic motion sequences from natural language descriptions. However, most existing approaches assume identity-neutral motion and generate movements using a canonical body representation, ignoring the strong influence of body morphology on motion dynamics. In practice, attributes such as body proportions, mass distribution, and age significantly affect how actions are performed, and neglecting this coupling often leads to physically inconsistent motions. We propose an identity-aware motion generation framework that explicitly models the relationship between body morphology and motion dynamics. Instead of relying on explicit geometric measurements, identity is represented using multimodal signals, including natural language descriptions and visual cues. We further introduce a joint motion-shape generation paradigm that simultaneously synthesizes motion sequences and body shape parameters, allowing identity cues to directly modulate motion dynamics. Extensive experiments on motion capture datasets and large-scale in-the-wild videos demonstrate improved motion realism and motion-identity consistency while maintaining high motion quality. Sculpt4D: Generating 4D Shapes via Sparse-Attention Diffusion Transformers

Recent breakthroughs in 3D generative modeling have yielded remarkable progress in static shape synthesis, yet high-fidelity dynamic 4D generation remains elusive, hindered by temporal artifacts and prohibitive computational demand. We present Sculpt4D, a native 4D generative framework that seamlessly integrates efficient temporal modeling into a pretrained 3D Diffusion Transformer (Hunyuan3D 2.1), thereby mitigating the scarcity of 4D training data. At its core lies a Block Sparse Attention mechanism that preserves object identity by anchoring to the initial frame while capturing rich motion dynamics via a time-decaying sparse mask. This design faithfully models complex spatiotemporal dependencies with high fidelity, while sidestepping the quadratic overhead of full attention and reducing network total computation by 56%. Consequently, Sculpt4D establishes a new state-of-the-art in temporally coherent 4D synthesis and charts a path toward efficient and scalable 4D generation.

Dream-Cubed: Controllable Generative Modeling in Minecraft by Training on Billions of Cubes

We introduce Dream-Cubed, a large-scale dataset of Minecraft worlds at voxel resolution, and a family of models using cubes as powerful compositional units for efficient generation of interactive 3D environments. Dream-Cubed comprises tens of billions of tokens from a carefully curated mixture of procedural biome terrain and high-quality human-authored maps. We use this dataset to conduct the first large-scale study of 3D diffusion models for voxel generation, analyzing discrete and continuous diffusion formulations, data compositions, and architectural design choices. Our models operate directly in the space of blocks, enabling efficient and semantically grounded generation while supporting interactive user workflows such as inpainting and outpainting from user-authored blocks. To quantitatively evaluate our models, we adapt the FID metric to assess semantic differences between real and generated world renderings, and validate generation quality through a human preference study. We release the full dataset, code, and all our pretrained models, which we hope will provide a foundation for future research in efficient generative modeling for structured, interactive 3D environments.

SketchFaceGS: Real-Time Sketch-Driven Face Editing and Generation with Gaussian Splatting

3D Gaussian representations have emerged as a powerful paradigm for digital head modeling, achieving photorealistic quality with real-time rendering. However, intuitive and interactive creation or editing of 3D Gaussian head models remains challenging. Although 2D sketches provide an ideal interaction modality for fast, intuitive conceptual design, they are sparse, depth-ambiguous, and lack high-frequency appearance cues, making it difficult to infer dense, geometrically consistent 3D Gaussian structures from strokes - especially under real-time constraints. To address these challenges, we propose SketchFaceGS, the first sketch-driven framework for real-time generation and editing of photorealistic 3D Gaussian head models from 2D sketches. Our method uses a feed-forward, coarse-to-fine architecture. A Transformer-based UV feature-prediction module first reconstructs a coarse but geometrically consistent UV feature map from the input sketch, and then a 3D UV feature enhancement module refines it with high-frequency, photorealistic detail to produce a high-fidelity 3D head. For editing, we introduce a UV Mask Fusion technique combined with a layer-by-layer feature-fusion strategy, enabling precise, real-time, free-viewpoint modifications. Extensive experiments show that SketchFaceGS outperforms existing methods in both generation fidelity and editing flexibility, producing high-quality, editable 3D heads from sketches in a single forward pass.

Beyond Prompts: Unconditional 3D Inversion for Out-of-Distribution Shapes

Text-driven inversion of generative models is a core paradigm for manipulating 2D or 3D content, unlocking numerous applications such as text-based editing, style transfer, or inverse problems. However, it relies on the assumption that generative models remain sensitive to natural language prompts. We demonstrate that for state-of-the-art native text-to-3D generative models, this assumption often collapses. We identify a critical failure mode where generation trajectories are drawn into latent ``sink traps'': regions where the model becomes insensitive to prompt modifications. In these regimes, changes to the input text fail to alter internal representations in a way that alters the output geometry. Crucially, we observe that this is not a limitation of the model's \textit{geometric} expressivity; the same generative models possess the ability to produce a vast diversity of shapes but, as we demonstrate, become insensitive to out-of-distribution \textit{text} guidance. We investigate this behavior by analyzing the sampling trajectories of the generative model, and find that complex geometries can still be represented and produced by leveraging the model's unconditional generative prior. This leads to a more robust framework for text-based 3D shape editing that bypasses latent sinks by decoupling a model's geometric representation power from its linguistic sensitivity. Our approach addresses the limitations of current 3D pipelines and enables high-fidelity semantic manipulation of out-of-distribution 3D shapes. TORA: Topological Representation Alignment for 3D Shape Assembly

Flow-matching methods for 3D shape assembly learn point-wise velocity fields that transport parts toward assembled configurations, yet they receive no explicit guidance about which cross-part interactions should drive the motion. We introduce TORA, a topology-first representation alignment framework that distills relational structure from a frozen pretrained 3D encoder into the flow-matching backbone during training. We first realize this via simple instantiation, token-wise cosine matching, which injects the learned geometric descriptors from the teacher representation. We then extend to employ a Centered Kernel Alignment (CKA) loss to match the similarity structure between student and teacher representations for enhanced topological alignment. Through systematic probing of diverse 3D encoders, we show that geometry- and contact-centric teacher properties, not semantic classification ability, govern alignment effectiveness, and that alignment is most beneficial at later transformer layers where spatial structure naturally emerges. TORA introduces zero inference overhead while yielding two consistent benefits: faster convergence (up to 6.9×\times) and improved accuracy in-distribution, along with greater robustness under domain shift. Experiments on five benchmarks spanning geometric, semantic, and inter-object assembly demonstrate state-of-the-art performance, with particularly pronounced gains in zero-shot transfer to unseen real-world and synthetic datasets. DreamPartGen: Semantically Grounded Part-Level 3D Generation via Collaborative Latent Denoising

Understanding and generating 3D objects as compositions of meaningful parts is fundamental to human perception and reasoning. However, most text-to-3D methods overlook the semantic and functional structure of parts. While recent part-aware approaches introduce decomposition, they remain largely geometry-focused, lacking semantic grounding and failing to model how parts align with textual descriptions or their inter-part relations. We propose DreamPartGen, a framework for semantically grounded, part-aware text-to-3D generation. DreamPartGen introduces Duplex Part Latents (DPLs) that jointly model each part's geometry and appearance, and Relational Semantic Latents (RSLs) that capture inter-part dependencies derived from language. A synchronized co-denoising process enforces mutual geometric and semantic consistency, enabling coherent, interpretable, and text-aligned 3D synthesis. Across multiple benchmarks, DreamPartGen delivers state-of-the-art performance in geometric fidelity and text-shape alignment.

Interact3D: Compositional 3D Generation of Interactive Objects

Recent breakthroughs in 3D generation have enabled the synthesis of high-fidelity individual assets. However, generating 3D compositional objects from single images--particularly under occlusions--remains challenging. Existing methods often degrade geometric details in hidden regions and fail to preserve the underlying object-object spatial relationships (OOR). We present a novel framework Interact3D designed to generate physically plausible interacting 3D compositional objects. Our approach first leverages advanced generative priors to curate high-quality individual assets with a unified 3D guidance scene. To physically compose these assets, we then introduce a robust two-stage composition pipeline. Based on the 3D guidance scene, the primary object is anchored through precise global-to-local geometric alignment (registration), while subsequent geometries are integrated using a differentiable Signed Distance Field (SDF)-based optimization that explicitly penalizes geometry intersections. To reduce challenging collisions, we further deploy a closed-loop, agentic refinement strategy. A Vision-Language Model (VLM) autonomously analyzes multi-view renderings of the composed scene, formulates targeted corrective prompts, and guides an image editing module to iteratively self-correct the generation pipeline. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Interact3D successfully produces promising collsion-aware compositions with improved geometric fidelity and consistent spatial relationships.

SK-Adapter: Skeleton-Based Structural Control for Native 3D Generation

Native 3D generative models have achieved remarkable fidelity and speed, yet they suffer from a critical limitation: inability to prescribe precise structural articulations, where precise structural control within the native 3D space remains underexplored. This paper proposes SK-Adapter, a simple yet efficient and effective framework that unlocks precise skeletal manipulation for native 3D generation. Moving beyond text or image prompts, which can be ambiguous for precise structure, we treat the 3D skeleton as a first-class control signal. SK-Adapter is a lightweight structural adapter network that encodes joint coordinates and topology into learnable tokens, which are injected into the frozen 3D generation backbone via cross-attention. This design allows the model to not only effectively ``attend'' to specific 3D structural constraints but also preserve its original generative priors. To bridge the data gap, we contribute the Objaverse-TMS dataset, a large-scale dataset of 24k text-mesh-skeleton pairs. Extensive experiments confirm that our method achieves robust structural control while preserving the geometry and texture quality of the foundation model, significantly outperforming existing baselines. Furthermore, we extend this capability to local 3D editing, enabling region-specific editing of existing assets with skeletal guidance, which is unattainable by previous methods. CoMa: Contextual Massing Generation with Vision-Language Models

Context-aware building massing is an important early-stage design task: given a site for buildings, a generated massing should not only fit the target parcel, but also relate to the scale, density, and morphology of its surrounding urban fabric. This task is naturally multimodal, since the target output should remain structured and editable, while the surrounding context, including other buildings or roads, can be represented as vector geometry, map imagery, or three-dimensional views. In this paper, we study contextual massing generation using vision-language models (VLMs) and analyze their performance on this task across different context modalities during training and inference. We assemble an experimental dataset of 12,845 Melbourne massings with parcel contours, structured 3D geometry, neighboring buildings, top-down views, and multi-view 3D context images. We also introduce a learned contextual relevance metric for evaluating whether generated massings are morphologically compatible with their surrounding context. Using Qwen3-VL models, we compare no-context, unimodal-context, and multimodal-context training regimes and evaluate inference performance under controlled combinations of modalities and amounts of context. The results show that model size strongly affects generation quality, multimodal training improves the use of individual modalities, and multimodal inference provides a stronger contextual signal than isolated context inputs.

GENA3D: Generative Amodal 3D Modeling by Bridging 2D Priors and 3D Coherence

Generating complete 3D objects under partial occlusions (i.e., amodal scenarios) is a practically important yet challenging problem, as large portions of object geometry are unobserved in real-world scenarios. Existing approaches either operate directly in 3D, which ensures geometric consistency but often lacks generative expressiveness, or rely on 2D amodal completion, which provides strong appearance priors but does not guarantee reliable 3D structure. This raises a key question: how can we achieve both generative plausibility and geometric coherence in amodal 3D modeling? To answer this question, we introduce GENA3D (GENarative Amodal 3D), a framework that integrates learned 2D generative priors with explicit 3D geometric reasoning within a conditional 3D generation paradigm. The 2D priors enable the model to plausibly infer diverse occluded content, while the 3D representation enforces multi-view consistency and spatial validity. Our design incorporates a novel View-Wise Cross-Attention for multi-view alignment and a Stereo-Conditioned Cross-Attention to anchor generative predictions in 3D relationships. By combining generative imagination with structural constraints, GENA3D generates complete and coherent 3D objects from limited observations without sacrificing geometric fidelity. Experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms existing approaches in both synthetic and real-world amodal scenarios, highlighting the effectiveness of bridging 2D priors and 3D coherence in generating plausible and geometrically consistent 3D structures in complex environments.
