CultureVidBench: Benchmarking Cultural Understanding in Text-to-Video Generation

Text-to-video (T2V) generation models have advanced rapidly, yet their ability to represent diverse cultural contexts remains underexplored. Existing benchmarks mainly focus on perceptual quality, physical plausibility, and text-video alignment, but do not directly assess whether generated videos capture culturally specific objects, actions, rituals, visible text, or audio cues. We introduce CultureVidBench, a comprehensive benchmark for evaluating cultural understanding in T2V generation. CultureVidBench contains 1,000 curated prompts covering 12 countries, 6 continents, 8 cultural regions, and 14 cultural aspects organized into three categories: material culture, social practice & performance, and ritual & ceremony. Designed specifically for video generation, CultureVidBench emphasizes dynamic and multimodal cultural representation, including social interactions, ritual procedure, and culturally appropriate visible text and audio. We evaluate seven representative T2V models through human user studies and MLLM-based automatic assessment across cultural faithfulness, multimodal cultural rendering, semantic adherence, and perceptual quality. Results show that although current models achieve strong semantic adherence and visual quality, they often fail to faithfully capture fine-grained cultural details, particularly for underrepresented regions, rituals, and multimodal cultural cues.

Geometry-guided Emotion Modulation for Controllable and Photorealistic Emotional Talking Face Generation

Audio-driven emotional talking face generation aims to synthesize realistic videos with expressive facial dynamics. However, existing methods struggle to balance controllability and visual fidelity. Although implicit representations capture rich semantics, they lack structural guidance, often resulting in averaged emotional expressions. In contrast, explicit geometric methods offer better control over facial expressions but tend to sacrifice high-frequency texture details. To address it, we propose GemTalk, a diffusion-based framework that combines the semantic richness of implicit representations with the structural precision of explicit geometric priors. We introduce a Vision-guided Audio Emotion Projection (V-AEP) module to extract implicit emotional lip and expression features. At the same time, a Diffusion-based Geometric Priors Generator (D-GPG) generates identity-aware blendshape coefficients as explicit structural priors. Crucially, our Geometry-guided Emotion Modulation (GEM) module leverages these geometric priors to recalibrate the magnitude of implicit features, enabling precise, continuous control over emotional expressions, especially emotion intensity, without sacrificing visual quality. Extensive experiments show GemTalk achieves superior performance in photo-realism, and facial emotional dynamics.

MoRoute: Dynamic Routing for In-Context Multimodal Video Generation

Multimodal video generation aims to generate and edit videos conditioned on arbitrary combinations of text, images, and videos within a single model, allowing diverse tasks to share complementary data and generative priors. Unifying these tasks requires multimodal understanding of diverse conditions, which is typically provided by a pretrained vision-language model (VLM). A key challenge is how to connect the VLM's hierarchical multimodal representations with a pretrained video diffusion transformer (DiT). Existing methods either inject features from only the final or a few manually selected VLM layers, or jointly train architecture-matched understanding and generation streams, making it difficult to reuse heterogeneous pretrained backbones. We introduce MoRoute, a unified multimodal video generation framework that formulates a frozen VLM and a pretrained video DiT with different architectures as heterogeneous experts connected through dynamic layer routing. For each input, a lightweight block-wise router enables every DiT block to select the VLM layer most relevant to its generation stage, thereby learning an adaptive correspondence between multimodal understanding and video synthesis. MoRoute further incorporates reference images and source videos directly into the DiT token sequence through unified in-context conditioning, preserving fine-grained visual details across diverse generation and editing tasks. Experiments on IntelligentVBench, OpenVE-Bench, and RefVIE-Bench show that MoRoute consistently surpasses the best competing method on each benchmark, improving the average score by 0.15, 0.18, and 0.34 on a 1-5 scale, respectively.

WaiT for the Signal: Simple Frequency-Aware Flow-Matching

As image generation models scale to ever higher resolutions, global coherence, local detail, and texture fidelity become critical axes for generation quality. However, standard flow matching treats all spatial frequencies uniformly, ignoring the natural frequency hierarchy where high-frequency bands become indistinguishable from pure noise far earlier than coarse structures. We introduce WaiT, a Wavelet-aware image Transformer that decomposes generation into coarse and fine bands via lossless wavelets. True to its name, the high-frequency bands wait for the signal: staying pure noise until coarse structure has emerged, then joining the flow for joint refinement. Since standard FID discards fine-grained detail through aggressive downsampling, we introduce a more stringent three-axis evaluation protocol to assess quality at native resolution. On ImageNet 512x512, WaiT achieves a pixel-space FID of 1.43 and is Pareto-optimal across all three axes, reducing sampling compute by up to 50%. With our largest 2B model, we set a new state-of-the-art FID of 1.3 for pixel-space models on ImageNet 512 resolution. Our formulation outperforms even the strongest latent-space models on texture fidelity, and scales seamlessly to high-resolution OpenImages and to video generation, achieving a state-of-the-art FVD of 0.84 on Kinetics-600 with no algorithmic modifications.

VideoCoCo: Code-as-CoT for Physically-Consistent Video Generation via an Agentic Dual-Engine System

Text-to-video models have achieved remarkable visual quality, yet they still struggle to generate physically consistent dynamics because the temporal evolution of a scene must be inferred implicitly from a highly compressed text prompt. Existing chain-of-thought approaches introduce intermediate plans or visual states, but these representations are typically non-executable or temporally sparse, limiting their ability to instantiate and control the complete spatiotemporal process. To address this limitation, we introduce VideoCoCo, an agentic dual-engine framework in which executable Blender code serves as a process-level chain of thought. Given a text prompt, a coding agent synthesizes a Blender program that explicitly specifies the scene and its temporal evolution. The executable simulation engine runs the program to produce a deterministic spatiotemporal draft, which is subsequently transformed into a photorealistic video by a generative video engine through draft-conditioned editing. This decomposition separates process-level reasoning from high-fidelity visual realization. To adapt the video editor to simulated drafts, we construct VideoCoCo-3K, a curated dataset of draft-instruction-target triplets. VideoCoCo improves the OmniWeaving baseline from 0.475 to 0.558 on PhyGenBench and from 52.18 to 77.88 on VBench-2.0, achieving the best average score on both benchmarks. These results demonstrate that executable code provides an effective, controllable, and inspectable intermediate representation for physically consistent video generation.

LeapTalk: Breaking the Latency-Quality Trade-off in Talking Head Generation

Long-form and real-time talking-head generation remains challenging due to a latency-quality trade-off: inefficient multi-step diffusion prohibits streaming generation, whereas real-time autoregressive approaches suffer from error accumulation and identity drift. To address this drawback, we propose LeapTalk, a novel framework that achieves stable and real-time talking-head generation with a single forward step, scaling to arbitrarily long videos. At the heart of our approach lies a single-step bridge distillation scheme. On the one hand, departing from the conventional noise-to-data paradigm, we introduce a data-to-data transport formulation based on a Brownian bridge. Anchored by a persistent reference, this strategy effectively mitigates identity drift and enhances long-term temporal stability. On the other hand, to enable smooth knowledge transfer from a pre-trained diffusion teacher to the student bridge model, we explore a heterogeneous distillation framework with an SNR-aligned time transformation Φ(τ)Φ(τ), which bridges the functional discrepancy between the two models. Moreover, we propose an audio-driven classifier-free guidance mechanism to maintain fine-grained lip synchronization under extreme step reduction. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves high-fidelity and temporally consistent video generation with only 1 step at up to 200 FPS, significantly outperforming existing approaches in both efficiency and stability. Visko Orbis 1.0: A Live Model for Real-Time Interactive Long Video Generation

We present Visko Orbis 1.0, a Live Model for real-time, interactive long video generation. Users can change the prompt at any moment during generation, and the update becomes visible in real time. Visko Orbis 1.0 supports long-form text-to-video, image-to-video, and video continuation, with multilingual prompts and prompt switching while generation is in progress. A bounded multi-scale memory preserves subjects, scenes, and style across chunks, sustaining hour-scale rollouts without evident quality or color drift. The generator is factorized causally in time, matching the causal structure of physical dynamics, and is aligned with a latent world-model reward for predictive consistency. Built on a distilled chunk-wise streaming generator and a streaming video upscaler, Visko Orbis 1.0 delivers 4K video generation at 24 FPS in real time, using an optimized GPU serving engine. In quantitative evaluations, Visko Orbis 1.0 achieves the best DOVER aesthetic and technical scores and the best VideoAlign visual and motion quality, and leads three physical-plausibility protocols (VideoPhy-2, Physics-IQ, and VBench-2.0 Physics); in long-form Arena comparisons, it obtains the highest overall-preference and temporal-stability ratings among all the state-of-the-art real-time interactive video generation systems.

Physics-Grounded Fluid Video Generation with a Simulation Dataset and Dual-Stream Optical-Flow Supervision

Video diffusion models generate visually compelling content but routinely violate elementary physics when the subject involves fluids: liquid columns break apart in mid-air, container water levels fail to rise as liquid is poured in, and splashes disperse without regard to momentum or gravity. We attribute this gap to the fact that large-scale video-text corpora contain almost no explicit motion supervision, so models learn to imitate fluid appearance rather than dynamics. We address this with two contributions. First, we build a physics-simulation fluid dataset combining 1,638 MPM-simulated pouring/sloshing videos with 2,320 keyword-filtered real pouring videos mined from stock footage, plus two held-out test sets: a 1,515-video real-video benchmark and an 18-prompt text-to-first-frame generalization benchmark. Second, we introduce a dual-stream image-to-video architecture built on a pretrained diffusion-transformer video generator. It augments the standard RGB decoder with a lightweight Optical-Flow Decoder branch trained with explicit end-point-error and smoothness losses, fused into the RGB stream via zero-initialized convolutions so the pretrained backbone starts undisturbed. Only the two decoders are updated; the encoder, temporal transformer, and text encoder remain frozen. Across two model scales (1.3B and 14B) and two test sets, our method improves VideoPhy-2 Physical-Commonsense and Video-Quality scores over the frozen backbone by up to 8.75 and 4.65 points, outperforms a leading open competitor, and is preferred by human raters in a blind study. A direct optical-flow read-out evaluation further shows an end-point error as low as 0.54 pixels in-distribution, confirming the model has internalized a coherent motion prior rather than merely improving surface appearance.

ViDS: Video Diffusion Shader using 3D Face Tracking

We introduce ViDS, a Video Diffusion Shader that leverages 3D face tracking for expressive and identity-preserving portrait animation. We first reconstruct the identity-specific 3DMM mesh from the reference image, and then animate it using expression and pose parameters from a driving video. Leveraging dense geometric cues from 3DMM normal maps, we employ a video diffusion model as a neural shader to synthesize lifelike portrait animations while preserving the appearance and identity of the reference image. We find that more accurate 3DMM tracking enables finer-grained expression control. We also introduce an autoregressive diffusion sampling process that extends generation beyond the model's native window while reducing discontinuities between adjacent clips. Compared with prior diffusion-based approaches for portrait animation that rely on landmark-based conditioning or implicit motion latents, our method achieves more detailed and consistent expression and pose control while faithfully preserving identity and appearance. Detailed ablation studies validate the effectiveness of our design choices. Project page: https://fusheng-ji.github.io/ViDS/

CachedSearch: Training-Free Cached Exploration for Test-Time Search in Video Diffusion

Test-time search lets small video diffusion models rival larger ones, but costs 2-10x more. All candidates are fully denoised, although most are discarded. Training-free caching makes each rollout 2-3x faster at near-lossless quality. Composition is safe only if lossy caching preserves verifier rankings. We present the first study of whether caching corrupts candidate ranking in video test-time search. On Wan2.1-T2V-1.3B with an adaptive caching wrapper (~2x per-candidate speedup), ImageReward scores seed-matched cached and full rollouts. Median per-prompt Spearman rank correlation is 0.905, with 72% top-1 agreement on the VBench suite. VBench-2.0 replicates this result on a harder suite. Recomputing the cached winner at full compute retains 90-94% of the full-search gain. Errors cluster among near-tied candidates, making corruption self-limiting. This finding leads to CachedSearch. It explores every candidate with aggressive caching, then re-generates only the winner at full compute. At N=8, it captures 94.7% of best-of-N's gain at 63% of the cost. Capture rises with width. At matched budget, it searches twice as wide for 38% more gain. The result holds from 1.3B-14B across six models and four families: Wan, LTX, CogVideoX, and Hunyuan. Wan2.1-14B matches the 1.3B model's fidelity. Mid-trajectory pruning multiplies the exploration saving to 3.11x at 88.6% capture. Ports to other model families require recalibrating a single parameter, showing that fidelity tracks architecture rather than parameter count. CachedSearch is training-free, verifier-agnostic, and orthogonal to the search algorithm, making it a plug-in multiplier for test-time scaling.

GroupVideo: Multi-Identity Customized Text-to-Video Generation

Current identity customized video generation methodologies are predominantly limited to single-identity scenarios, as the lack of explicit identity separation mechanisms often leads to identity confusion in multi-identity settings. Existing multi-identity approaches, which directly extend single-identity frameworks by concatenating face images as input conditions, frequently result in unnatural facial expressions and motions, manifesting as the "copy-paste" phenomenon. To overcome these limitations, we introduce GroupVideo, a novel framework that leverages multiple individual photographs to generate identitycustomized video. Built upon Video Diffusion Transformers, GroupVideo incorporates multimodal identity alignment: visual alignment jointly encodes multiple face images to provide robust identity references, while semantic alignment introduces a semantic perceiver to enhance the naturalness of motions. An ID localization module with spatial guidance is introduced to address identity blending and enhance identity fidelity, along with bounding box constraints and mask regularization loss, to focus on facial regions and improve training efficiency. In response to the shortage of multi-ID video datasets, we have curated a comprehensive high-quality dataset of 20,000 videos, thereby establishing a crucial resource to advance future research in multi-ID video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GroupVideo outperforms existing methods in generating multi-character videos with consistent identities and natural motions.

Vera: Identity-Faithful Human Subject-to-Video Generation

Subject-to-video (S2V) generation has made substantial progress in preserving reference subjects across diverse categories, yet generic subject consistency remains insufficient for human-centric generation. A video may appear globally consistent while identity-critical human details still drift across frames, poses, and interactions. This issue becomes more severe in multi-person scenarios, where incorrect identity-role binding leads to subject confusion, attribute swapping, and excessive copying of reference-specific appearance cues. We propose Vera, a unified human-centric S2V framework for single- and multi-person generation. We first construct a million-pair identity-aligned human image-video dataset through person-level cross-clip retrieval, providing explicit identity correspondence and diverse references. Built on this dataset, Vera introduces two complementary designs. Identity-Focal Masked Supervision (IFMS) strengthens identity-aware learning with spatially focused supervision while reducing interference from irrelevant artifacts. Reference-Aware Layer-wise Attention (RALA) regulates how video tokens interact with reference identity cues in the DiT backbone, preserving stable identity anchors and enhancing layer-aware identity readout. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Vera improves human identity consistency, multi-person subject binding, and motion naturalness, while reducing identity confusion and excessive reference-image copying.

Generative World Renderer at the Speed of Play

Generative world renderer AlayaRenderer receives structured world states exported from physics engines and synthesizes RGB frames. Unlike models that generate frames from text/control-hints prompts, AlayaRenderer preserves scene structure without altering the underlying world dynamics. This demonstrates an alternative path toward interactive world modeling and user-controllable play. However, the original AlayaRenderer is too computationally expensive for real-time deployment. This technical report introduces AlayaRenderer-Flash, a real-time-oriented generative forward world renderer that pushes AlayaRenderer from 0.56 FPS to 31.54 FPS, reaching the speed of play. AlayaRenderer-Flash reformulates the original renderer as a few-step autoregressive streaming model and introduces lightweight distilled codecs for efficient latent encoding and frame reconstruction. It retains the teacher model's G-buffer and text-prompt interfaces while enabling continuous rendering over input streams of unbounded length. We evaluate AlayaRenderer-Flash on G-buffer streams across content preservation, temporal consistency, cross-window stability, prompt controllability, and runtime efficiency. Our results show that AlayaRenderer-Flash substantially reduces inference cost while preserving the core rendering capabilities of the teacher model. By integrating AlayaRenderer-Flash with a physics engine, we build a fully playable generative world running at 30 FPS.

DeforM: Reasoning-Guided Physics-Aware Video Generation via Spatial-Temporal Masking

Video generation models achieve high visual quality but often struggle to generate physics-aware videos. Unlike rigid-body motion, which can be described by explicit trajectories or formulas, complex deformation dynamics remain challenging to synthesize. We observe that a lack of physical reasoning for localizing dynamic areas allows irrelevant regions to dilute the model's attention, leading to generation failure. In this paper, we propose DeforM, a reasoning-guided image-to-video generation framework that directs the model's focus toward physics-critical regions. To reason about and localize these critical regions, we introduce a VLM-guided physical reasoning module, DeforM-Reason, to identify target objects and generate spatial-temporal masks. For physical guidance, we develop two alternative strategies: DeforM-Free for training-free mechanism analysis and DeforM-Injection as a powerful training-based generator. Experimental results demonstrate that DeforM improves the realism of generated deformation scenarios, outperforming baseline models in both visual quality and physical consistency.

HOMIE: Human-object Centric Video Personalization via Multimodal Intelligent Enhancement

Human-object centric video personalization (HOCVP) is a core task within subject-driven video generation. However, existing methods suffer from two key limitations. First, most approaches focusing on inter-subject personalization still struggle to strike a balance between high subject fidelity and accurate interaction patterns between humans and diverse objects, especially when objects represent abstract concepts such as logos. Second, while intra-subject references (e.g., OCR maps, multi-view inputs) are expected to enhance subject fidelity, most existing works lack mechanisms to understand such latent correspondence. To address both challenges, we propose HOMIE, an HOCVP framework that tackles both inter- and intra-subject input settings in a unified manner. Compared to previous approaches, HOMIE proposes a better MLLM integration strategy to extract knowledge of reference-level relationships without compromising the controllability of text encoders or incurring costly re-alignment. Specifically, we introduce global multimodal guidance within self-attention to better align MLLM-derived semantic features with VAE tokens. Furthermore, we propose modality-reference embedding to differentiate tokens from MLLM features and VAE tokens and associate intra-subject reference image tokens. Extensive experiments validate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance across various HOCVP tasks. Project Page: https://yiyangcai.github.io/homie-page.github.io/

Keyframe-Anchored Identity Preservation for Sequential-Action Video Generation

Identity-preserving text-to-video generation aims to synthesize a video that accurately follows a textual description while maintaining the recognizability of a user-specified subject throughout. The IPVG26 challenge extends this framework from a single holistic prompt to a temporally structured specification. The model additionally receives a sequence of timestamped action captions and must render the subject performing these actions in the specified order. This temporal structure presents a challenge not encountered in previous identity-preserving generation tasks, as the subject must continuously perform a scripted sequence of distinct actions while maintaining a consistent identity. However, end-to-end video generators are prone to appearance drift as motion accumulates and the depicted actions change. We address this challenge with a training-free, three-stage pipeline framework. An action-aware prompt polishment stage first rewrites the inputs into image-generation prompts that specify the terminal state of each action. An identity-preserving generation stage then produces the keyframe sequence by conditioning each frame jointly on the reference identity and its predecessor, thereby decoupling time-invariant appearance from time-varying pose. Finally, an identity-aware inference enhancement stage synthesizes the intermediate segments using multi-reference guidance and identity-driven noise searching, both of which reinforce identity fidelity during sampling. Our method ranked third on the official Track 2 leaderboard, demonstrating competitive performance and strong generality.

ShotPlan: Cinematic Video Generation with Learnable Planning Token

Current video generation models achieve impressive results in single-shot generation, yet remain limited in cinematic video generation, where coherent narratives and effective multi-shot composition require explicit shot planning. To address this challenge, we propose ShotPlan, a framework for explicit multi-shot cinematic video generation built upon a video diffusion foundation model. Our method introduces learnable planning tokens that capture shot-level transition cues and can be seamlessly integrated with the original video generation tokens to control transition timestamps. Unlike standard video generation tokens, the proposed planning tokens are equipped with Fractional Temporal Rotary Position Embedding (FRoPE), enabling shot transitions to be modeled at the frame level. Experiments demonstrate that ShotPlan significantly outperforms existing cinematic video generation methods, offering more flexible shot management and stronger inter-shot consistency.

SlotMem: Character-Addressable Internal Memory for Narrative Long Video Generation

Maintaining recurring character identities across scene transitions and long temporal gaps is a central challenge in narrative long video generation. Methods targeting global consistency often retrieve memory using cues that are not aligned with character identity preservation, while recent character-centric variants still rely on coarse frame-level kv memory that entangles identity with incidental visual factors and lacks a continuous update mechanism under limited memory capacity. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{SlotMem}, a character-addressable internal memory framework for multi-character narrative long video generation. Specifically, SlotMem uses a Character-Semantic Probe to localize character-relevant visual tokens from cross-attention responses, and a Memory Encoder to compress DiT tokens into compact role-wise slot memory. As generation proceeds, a Memory Writer conservatively updates each character's memory with new observations, while Character-Wise Cross-Attention retrieves the role memory and injects it only into localized tokens of the same character. Experiments on multiple narrative long video generation benchmarks show that SlotMem improves long-range character consistency over existing baselines, while maintaining comparable video quality. Our code is available at https://github.com/YilaiLiu-HKU/SlotMem.

PhysAgent: Reflective Agentic Physics Control for Physically Plausible Video Generation

Recent advances in physics-grounded video generation leverage physics simulation as a physical prior to guide video synthesis toward physically plausible outcomes. The simulation process is controlled by physical specifications, which are typically generated by a vision-language model in a single pass. Such one-shot prediction often fails to accurately translate user intent into executable simulations, particularly for fine-grained object dynamics, complex motion trajectories, and temporally structured interactions. In this paper, we propose PhysAgent, a reflective agentic framework that closes the loop among physical program generation, physics simulation, stage-specific verification, and targeted program repair. Beyond improving the control of coupled physical parameters, our framework enables the agent to progressively realize complex trajectories, multi-stage interactions, and precise event outcomes by treating each physical program as an executable hypothesis. In addition, we design a set of physics-control APIs to support more stable and complex motion behaviors. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PhysAgent produces more physically plausible videos, achieves better prompt alignment, and generalizes more effectively across diverse physical scenarios.

PE-Field 4D: Video Generation Models as Canvas

Diffusion Transformers have recently achieved strong performance in video generation, yet controlling scene geometry under viewpoint changes and camera motion remains challenging. In this work, we revisit the role of positional encoding in video diffusion transformers and show that it provides a useful spatial bias for geometry-aware control. Specifically, if reference tokens are encoded according to their projected locations in the target view, the denoising model is encouraged to retrieve content from position aligned regions of the input video. Building on this observation, we introduce a geometry-aware cross-attention mechanism that enables target video latent tokens to attend to structured context tokens derived from reference images or frames. To establish correspondence between the reference content and the target camera trajectory, we equip the context tokens with a projected positional encoding scheme that combines target-view 2D reprojection with depth-aware disambiguation. At the same time, we preserve the original spatiotemporal positional encoding of the generated video latent, allowing geometric guidance to be injected while maintaining consistency with the video model's native latent structure. The resulting framework provides a simple and effective approach for controllable video generation. It improves spatial controllability in viewpoint-dependent editing tasks, including camera re-trajectory, novel-view video synthesis, and geometry-aware video editing, while preserving the generative prior of the underlying video diffusion model. The code is available at: https://github.com/MTLab/PE-Field.

The GEST-Engine: From Event Graphs to Synthetic Video. A Full Technical Report

We present the GEST-Engine, a complete system that goes from natural-language text to fully-annotated multi-actor video. At its core is an explicit world model: rather than encoding state as a learned latent, the engine maintains a complete, inspectable representation of the world (which actors exist, where they are, what they are doing, which objects they hold, and how events relate in time and space), expressed as a formal Graph of Events in Space and Time (GEST) and realized deterministically inside the open world of a commercial game engine driven through an open-source multiplayer scripting framework. GESTs are produced either procedurally or by an agentic text-to-GEST system in which an LLM Director plans a story through tool calls validated by a programmatic state backend, so every generated specification is executable by construction. A GEST then enters a four-stage execution pipeline: graph parsing and validation, entity and action grounding, temporal orchestration (Allen-style constraints resolved by Floyd-Warshall transitive closure), and execution and capture. In a single simulation pass the engine emits frame-aligned RGB video, dense per-pixel depth, instance segmentation, per-actor skeletal pose, per-frame pairwise spatial-relation graphs, 2D bounding boxes, event-to-frame temporal mappings, and natural-language descriptions, all at zero marginal annotation cost. We further describe an in-game world editor, runtime capability extraction, a text-generation pipeline, and a production system that renders corpora at scale across parallel virtual machines. Because every frame traces back to a semantic specification, the engine guarantees object permanence, multi-actor coordination, and temporal consistency by construction, making its output valuable as training data, evaluation benchmarks, and diagnostic tools for video understanding.

PanoWorld: Real-World Panoramic Generation

In this work, we aim to address the challenge of long-range memory in panoramic world models by exploiting the rotation-equivariant property of omnidirectional representations, where rotation can be treated as an implicit geometric transformation.Building on this insight, we propose PanoWorld, which simplifies camera trajectories into translations via fixed headings for both current-action modeling and long-range memory through Dense Panoramic Ray-Conditioning (DPRC) and Geometry-aware Memory Augmentation (GMA).Then, a three-stage training pipeline is introduced to progressively optimize each component. To better evaluate physical consistency under large-scale spatial variations and diverse illumination conditions, where existing datasets are relatively stable, we construct World360, a large-scale dataset consisting of both real-world video clips collected via panoramic unmanned aerial vehicles and high-quality simulated clips generated by AirSim360.Extensive experiments on World360 demonstrate the effectiveness of PanoWorld, outperforming alternative methods by a large margin. Our models, training code, and dataset will be publicly available. Video Generation Models are General-Purpose Vision Learners

Driven by next-token prediction, NLP shifted from task-specific models into powerful generalist foundation models. What, then, is the equivalent catalyst needed to achieve a general-purpose model in computer vision? In this paper, we contend that large-scale text-to-video generation serves as a strong pre-training paradigm for computer vision, providing the necessary spatiotemporal priors, vision-language alignment, and scalability required for general visual intelligence. We introduce GenCeption, which leverages a pre-trained video generative diffusion backbone to define a feed-forward perception model, capable of performing various vision tasks steered by text instructions. Empirical results demonstrate that GenCeption achieves state-of-the-art performance across a diverse suite of tasks, including depth, surface normal, and camera pose estimation, expression-referring segmentation, and 3D keypoint prediction, often matching or surpassing specialized models (e.g. DepthAnything3, SAM3, D4RT, VGGT-Omega, Sapiens, David, Genmo, and Lotus-2). Furthermore, the video generative pretrained backbone outperforms alternative pretraining paradigms (e.g., V-JEPA, and Video MAE) under comparable settings. Importantly, GenCeption exhibits preliminary data and model scaling properties along with exceptional data efficiency, where it achieves comparable performance with leading models like D4RT and VGGT-Omega with 7 to 500 less training data. Finally, GenCeption also exhibits intriguing emergent behaviors: a model trained exclusively on synthetic human videos generalizes to real-world footage and out-of-distribution object categories (e.g., animals and robots). These findings suggest that video generation is not merely a synthesis tool, but a foundational path toward generalist vision intelligence for the physical world. OpenCoF: Learning to Reason Through Video Generation

Reasoning has become a core capability for large models, especially when reliable decisions require understanding logical consequences. Recent video generation models offer a reasoning path distinct from previous Chain-of-Thought (CoT): reasoning can unfold through temporally connected frames, known as Chain-of-Frame (CoF) reasoning. However, existing video generators are primarily trained on general video corpora, still lacking diverse supervision and dedicated designs for CoF reasoning. To address this gap, we introduce OpenCoF, a framework comprising the OpenCoF-17K dataset, a reasoning video dataset spanning 11 task families, and Wan-CoF, a fine-tuned video model for studying whether diverse temporal supervision improves CoF behavior. Across four video reasoning benchmarks, Wan-CoF achieves considerable gains over the Wan2.2-I2V-A14B baseline. Building on this, we empirically explore more advanced designs for CoF capabilities, i.e., equipping the model with visual and textual reasoning tokens. This mechanism respectively captures low-level visual cues and high-level semantic priors for spatial and temporal reasoning. Through performance comparisons and attention analysis, we examine how these tokens contribute across model depth, denoising steps, space, and time. Our results suggest that stronger video reasoning requires both broad temporal supervision and explicit mechanisms for organizing intermediate reasoning state. We open-source the dataset, model, and code to facilitate future research on reasoning-oriented video generation.

Scaling Mixture-of-Experts Video Pretraining for Embodied Intelligence

Despite the recent promise in robot control, video generative models suffer from a domain mismatch due to their primary focus on content creation. For example, their design inherently prioritizes visual fidelity and creativity over computational efficiency and physical realism. In this work, we present LingBot-Video, a DiT-based video pretraining paradigm specifically tailored for embodied intelligence. From the architecture perspective, we adopt the Mixture-of-Experts (MoE), instead of dense, framework to achieve a better trade-off between modeling capacity and inference efficiency, and manage to scale it up from scratch. From the data perspective, we construct a data profiling engine that augments standard internet videos with extensive robot-oriented footage, encompassing manipulation, navigation, and egocentric perspectives, to equip the base model with an intrinsic understanding of actions and world dynamics. From the training perspective, we develop a multi-dimensional reward system to enforce the alignment regarding physical rationality and task completion, going beyond standard criteria such as aesthetics, prompt-following, and motion consistency. Comprehensive evaluations validate its performance and efficiency as a video foundation model. We contribute LingBot-Video as the inaugural large-scale, open-source MoE video foundation model to the community, in a pioneering effort to bridge digital creativity and physical actuation.

MobileWan: Closing the Quality Gap for Mobile Video Diffusion

Recent advances in video diffusion have been driven by scaling transformer-based architectures to billions of parameters, substantially improving visual fidelity and motion coherence. In contrast, existing mobile video diffusion models remain limited to relatively small parameter budgets, typically 0.4-1.8B, restricting generation quality. In this work, we show that high-quality mobile video generation does not require small models. Instead, we demonstrate that a server-scale 5B-parameter video diffusion transformer can be deployed efficiently on memory-constrained mobile hardware through recurrent reformulation and structured compression. Starting from Wan2.2-5B, we rely on a recurrence distillation framework that converts video generation into a chunk-wise autoregressive process with constant-memory attention computation. Combined with causal linear attention, the model operates as an RNN at inference time while preserving temporal coherence across chunks. We further propose a learnable attention head pruning method based on binary per-head gates optimized end-to-end using a noise-biased sparsity objective and distillation-based finetuning. Together with sampling-step distillation and memory-optimized VAE decoding, MobileWan becomes the first 5B-scale video diffusion model deployable on a commercial mobile device. Our system generates 5-second 480x832 videos at 16 FPS in 20 seconds end-to-end latency, achieving a VBench score of 83.79 and establishing a new state of the art in mobile video generation. Lights, Camera, Carbon: Architectural Scaling Laws for Video Generation Energy Consumption

We present a bidirectional framework for estimating the energy consumption of text-to-video (T2V) and text-to-video-audio (T2VA) models from architectural first principles and observable generation parameters such as resolution and duration, requiring no access to weights, model size, or implementation details. Forward, it predicts energy from generation parameters and architectural principles; backward, it recovers architectural scaling behavior from observed inference times, with accuracy serving as a criterion for architectural validity. Building on the established compute-bound nature of video diffusion models, we demonstrate that each model's energy profile obeys theoretically derived scaling laws, decomposing into quadratic and linear terms whose coefficients directly reflect the underlying architectural complexity. Validated across six open-source models spanning 8.3B-27B parameters and three GPU configurations, this decomposition achieves below 3% MAPE across all architectures. This approach offers a standardized, empirically and theoretically grounded framework for sustainability benchmarking across T2V models and architectures.

Aura: Consistent Multi-Subject Video Generation via VLM-Grounded Semantic Alignment

Subject-driven and multi-element video generation are central to controllable video synthesis, but existing methods still struggle to preserve identity consistency and model complex relationships among multiple subjects. In this paper, we propose Aura, a unified framework for high-fidelity and identity-consistent video generation. To better capture scene dynamics and subject interactions, we introduce AI director-level captions that provide dense and structured descriptions of video content. We further leverage a vision-language model (VLM) with learnable queries to extract multimodal semantic features from textual and visual references, covering both global semantics and fine-grained visual cues. To bridge the representational gap between the VLM and the Diffusion Transformer (DiT), we design a two-stage alignment strategy that progressively maps VLM features into the DiT feature space. For visual conditioning, we adopt token concatenation to inject reference information directly into the generation process. To distinguish heterogeneous subject types and reduce common copy-paste artifacts, we develop a subject-aware RoPE-Shift mechanism. To further differentiate reference images of different categories, we introduce subject-aware learnable tokens. In addition, we introduce Memory Tokens to balance the training signal across examples with different numbers of reference subjects. During inference, Progressive-APG (Adaptive Prompt Guidance) further alleviates oversaturation and improves semantic alignment with user prompts. Finally, we build a high-quality video-subject image dataset through a dedicated data construction pipeline. Extensive experiments show that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on both single-subject generation and more challenging multi-element scenarios.

Perceptual Flow Matching for Few-Step Generative Modeling

We propose Perceptual Flow Matching (PFM), a simple yet effective framework for few-step generation in flow-matching models. Rather than performing velocity regression in the conventional VAE latent space, PFM supervises flow matching in a perceptual feature space using pretrained perceptual models. This simple change substantially improves the few-step generation capability of flow-matching models, reducing the number of sampling steps from 35-50 to 4-8 while preserving generation quality. Unlike existing acceleration and distillation approaches, PFM requires neither teacher models nor auxiliary score networks and can be integrated into standard flow-matching training pipelines with minimal modifications. Extensive experiments on image generation, video generation, and image editing tasks demonstrate that PFM consistently produces high-quality results while producing fewer artifacts than existing distillation-based methods. We further show that perceptual supervision shifts the regression minimizer from mean-seeking to mode-seeking, biasing predictions toward on-manifold modes that remain accurate under coarse few-step integration. Our results reveal that standard flow-matching training can naturally yield high-quality few-step generators when supervised in an appropriate representation space. We hope this insight inspires future research into representation-aware objectives for efficient generative modeling.
