3D Environment

Research on 3D environments focuses on creating realistic and interactive virtual worlds for applications ranging from augmented and virtual reality to robotics and game development. Current efforts concentrate on improving environment representation (e.g., using neural radiance fields, Gaussian splatting, and point clouds), enabling efficient navigation and interaction within these environments (often leveraging reinforcement learning and path planning algorithms), and enhancing semantic understanding through multimodal fusion of visual, linguistic, and other sensory data. This work has significant implications for advancing AI capabilities in spatial reasoning, human-computer interaction, and the development of more sophisticated autonomous systems.
