Leader Follower
Leader-follower systems, where one agent (leader) guides others (followers), are a core concept in multi-agent systems research, aiming to achieve coordinated behavior and task completion. Current research focuses on improving robustness and efficiency through various methods, including control barrier functions for maintaining communication graph stability, Stackelberg games and meta-learning for strategic guidance, and distributed algorithms like locally centralized execution to reduce redundant computation. These advancements have significant implications for diverse applications, such as multi-robot coordination in challenging environments, autonomous driving, and human-robot collaboration, improving performance and safety in complex scenarios.
