Radiology Imaging
Radiology imaging research focuses on improving diagnostic accuracy, workflow efficiency, and patient communication through artificial intelligence. Current efforts center on developing and refining large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models, often leveraging architectures like transformers and incorporating techniques such as retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and visual prompt engineering, to enhance report generation, image analysis, and clinical decision support. These advancements aim to address the shortage of radiologists, improve diagnostic accuracy, and facilitate better patient understanding of complex medical information, ultimately impacting both clinical practice and research methodology.
