Per-View Gaussian Predictions Enable Training-Free Distractor Filtering in Feed-Forward 3DGS

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting reconstructs an explicit Gaussian representation from multiple input images in one network execution, making 3D reconstruction increasingly accessible for casual captures. However, such captures frequently contain transient objects that appear in only a subset of the views. Such content can be encoded into the per-view Gaussians associated with the inputs that observe it and remain in the combined representation despite being observed by no other input. As a result, it may produce blurred, duplicated, or floating artifacts in novel views. We introduce a training-free filtering procedure that exploits this per-view prediction structure. For each input, we exclude its associated Gaussians and render the same camera using the remaining representation, revealing content that is inconsistent with the other inputs. Feature similarity forms candidate regions, and rendering-based verification retains only candidates whose removal reduces reconstruction error in the other input views. The procedure operates on a single frozen prediction without retraining or scene-specific optimization. Across three reconstruction models and two distractor benchmarks, it consistently improves novel-view quality with varying numbers of input views. On clean scenes, evaluations across four models show that the original reconstructions are largely preserved.

NemoSplat: Feed-Forward 4D Gaussian Splatting for Media-Aware Underwater Reconstruction

Reconstructing photorealistic scenes in unconstrained underwater environments remains challenging due to severe media-induced light scattering and unpredictable dynamic objects. Recent feed-forward visual foundation models have demonstrated remarkable capabilities in generalized novel view synthesis and tracking. However, when directly applied to aquatic videos, optical attenuation and motion interference fatally corrupt their feature aggregation, leading to severe tracking and reconstruction failures. To overcome these limitations, we present NemoSplat, the first feed-forward 4D Gaussian Splatting framework tailored for media-aware dynamic reconstruction directly from uncalibrated marine videos. Beyond providing robust estimations of camera poses and dense scene depth, we devise a Promptable Dynamic Disentangler that utilizes a confidence-aware fusion strategy of learned dynamic probabilities and optional semantic text priors, effectively isolating massive transient entities. Furthermore, to counteract visual degradation, a Media-Aware Gaussian Predictor is formulated to jointly estimate intrinsic 3D Gaussian attributes alongside physical media parameters, rendering pristine scene appearance in a single forward pass. Additionally, we introduce a large-scale underwater dataset with massive dynamic elements to facilitate training and evaluation. Extensive experiments on our dataset demonstrate that NemoSplat achieves state-of-the-art tracking accuracy and high-fidelity rendering. Homepage: https://nemosplat.hkustvgd.com

GroupForward: Building Referable 3D Scenes via Instance-Grouped Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting

Simultaneously reconstructing and understanding 3D environments is essential for embodied agents. Toward this goal, feed-forward semantic 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) efficiently constructs semantic scene representations from sparse multi-view observations. However, existing methods lack explicit instance discrimination and mainly support category- or phrase-based semantic queries. To this end, we propose GroupForward, an instance-grouped feed-forward Gaussian splatting model that reconstructs geometry, appearance, instance structure, and semantics from sparse, unposed, and uncalibrated multi-view images. Unlike existing methods that attach high-dimensional semantic features to each Gaussian, GroupForward learns compact instance embeddings that group Gaussians into cross-view consistent 3D instances, reformulating feed-forward semantic 3DGS from per-Gaussian semantic feature rendering to instance-level semantic aggregation and propagation. Building on these instance groups, we further propose a Referential Scene Reasoning Framework (RSRF) for complex 3D referring segmentation. RSRF constructs an instance-grouped 3D scene graph and retrieves candidate instances for a given referring expression. A vision-language model then reasons over structured instance evidence and multi-view observations to identify the referred instance among the candidates. RSRF thereby extends language interaction from simple semantic querying to complex referential scene reasoning. Experiments on semantic reconstruction and referential reasoning demonstrate the effectiveness of our instance-grouped reconstruction and reasoning framework.

GeoWeaver: Accurate Long-Sequence 3D Reconstruction via Hierarchical Geometric Assembly

Long-sequence 3D reconstruction from RGB videos requires both accurate local geometry and globally consistent camera motion. Feed-forward models provide strong depth and pose predictions, but their memory cost prevents joint inference over long sequences. Chunk-wise processing improves scalability, yet independently predicted chunks often exhibit scale drift, pose errors, and point-cloud misalignment. We present GeoWeaver, a unified framework comprising a Geometric Prior Model (GPM) and Test-Time Adaptation (TTA). The GPM predicts chunk-wise depth, confidence, and camera parameters as adjustable geometric priors. TTA then performs sequential initialization, global chunk-level Sim(3) alignment, and coarse-to-fine refinement of camera poses, affine depth corrections, and intrinsics. Dense correspondences provide adjacent, cross-chunk, and long-range constraints, while a robust CDF-style objective jointly optimizes weighted 2D reprojection and 3D consistency residuals. This design preserves local geometric accuracy while correcting accumulated pose, scale, depth, and calibration errors. Experiments across diverse long-sequence benchmarks demonstrate improved camera accuracy, global consistency, and point-cloud quality. Ablations verify the contribution of each adaptation stage, and applying the same TTA procedure to different geometric prior models consistently improves their trajectory estimates, demonstrating that GeoWeaver is not tied to a specific GPM.

UniQuery4R: Unified 4D Scene Reconstruction from a Single Query

Reconstructing dynamic 4D scenes requires jointly estimating correspondence, geometry, object motion, and camera motion. Existing feed-forward methods typically predict dense task-specific maps or independently process source-target pairs, leading to unnecessary computation for sparse queries and limited feature reuse across different frame pairs. We present UniQuery4R, a query-conditioned framework that encodes a multi-frame clip once and selects the source view, target view, and continuous source-image coordinate only at decoding time via source-to-target cross-attention. Each query jointly predicts target correspondence, target-time 3D position, and scene flow, along with source depth, while camera parameters are estimated per view. This design allows the encoded clip to be reused across arbitrary source-target selections and supports both sparse inference and dense reconstruction through batched queries, without learned temporal embeddings tied to a fixed clip length. We further introduce a direction-magnitude parameterization of scene flow with separate supervision for moving and static points. Among the evaluated methods, UniQuery4R achieves the best macro-average results on WorldTrack for both scene-flow estimation and dynamic-point reconstruction.

Feed-Forward Hierarchical Gaussian Diffusion for Extreme CT Reconstruction

Reconstructing three-dimensional computed tomography (CT) from severely constrained projections is highly ill-posed. Sparse angular sampling, restricted angular coverage, and low photon counts can occur individually or jointly, obscuring global anatomy and local tissue detail. Many learned CT reconstruction methods are tailored to a single dominant degradation. Existing diffusion and Gaussian approaches commonly recover global structure and local detail within a shared representation. We propose HiGDiff, a feed-forward hierarchical Gaussian diffusion framework that decomposes reconstruction both spatially and from structure to detail. Physics-conditioned anatomical anchors and a foreground capacity field allocate learnable Gaussian primitives to informative regions. A structure diffusion stage first recovers global attenuation geometry, and its learned representation conditions a detail diffusion stage for residual boundaries and tissue transitions. The resulting Gaussian banks are rendered as attenuation fields and further refined by a gradient-isolated residual module. Experiments on three distinct CT benchmark datasets demonstrate state-of-the-art reconstruction performance across isolated, paired, and joint degradation settings, including improvements of 5.81 dB in macro-average peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and 0.113 in structural similarity index measure (SSIM) on the Low Dose CT Image and Projection Data (LDCT-PD) collection. VGGT-Align: Bridging Local Reconstruction and Global Consistency for Long-Sequence 3D Reconstruction

Maintaining global geometric consistency is a central challenge in long-sequence 3D reconstruction, with scale drift being the most critical failure mode. In chunk-based inference pipelines, the scale degree of freedom in sequential Sim(3) alignment is left unconstrained, causing estimation errors to compound multiplicatively and distort global trajectories and point cloud geometry. We present a scale-consistency enhancement framework built on a key insight: in structured environments such as driving scenes, geometric quantities arising from environmental regularity remain inherently invariant across temporal segments, and discrepancies in their per-chunk measurements directly expose inter-chunk scale drift. We propose Scene Geometric Invariant Anchoring (SGIA), which extracts dominant geometric invariants from each chunk's predicted point cloud via coarse-to-fine robust estimation and exploits their cross-chunk consistency to establish scale constraints independent of point cloud registration, explicitly degenerating 7-DoF Sim(3) alignment into 6-DoF rigid-body transformation and severing chain-wise scale error propagation at its source. We further introduce a lightweight test-time adaptation strategy that fine-tunes only normalization-layer parameters via multi-objective self-supervision, progressively improving intra-chunk predictions along the sequence. Both modules are plug-and-play and require no offline retraining. Experiments on multiple long-sequence benchmarks demonstrate state-of-the-art performance, reducing absolute trajectory error by up to 32% with significant gains in trajectory stability and reconstruction quality. LocusGS: Spatially Grounded Tokens for Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

Recent query-based feed-forward 3DGS methods represent a scene using learnable queries, each aggregating multi-view evidence and decoding a group of Gaussians. Ideally, different queries should specialize in coherent local regions of the scene. However, we observe that Gaussians decoded from the same query often scatter across distant scene regions, resulting in weak query-level spatial coherence and poor alignment with the scene structure. We attribute this behavior to the purely latent representation of existing Gaussian queries. To address this limitation, we introduce LocusGS, which augments each Gaussian query with a 3D anchor state consisting of a center and a support radius. The anchor state is progressively refined across decoder layers and is used throughout query interaction, multi-view feature aggregation, and Gaussian generation. Specifically, an anchor-to-ray geometric bias guides each query toward spatially relevant image observations, while anchor-centered decoding organizes its Gaussians within a local region. Experiments on novel view synthesis benchmarks show that LocusGS improves rendering quality over query-based Gaussian token baselines under the same Gaussian budget. Further analysis shows that the learned anchors form coherent spatial layouts and lead to more structured Gaussian distributions, demonstrating that explicit anchor states improve the spatial organization. Map-Det3D: Metric Feed-Forward 3D Reconstruction Prior for Multi-view 3D Object Detection from Streaming Inputs

Metric 3D object detection is a core capability for embodied agents, yet most reliable systems lean on depth sensors, trading away cost, power, and integration simplicity. This motivates monocular 3D detection, which avoids additional constraints, yet it faces a major obstacle: from a single image, depth, and especially absolute scale, are underconstrained. As a result, the prevailing pattern of detecting in 2D and then predicting 3D attributes is often brittle, since modest range errors can dominate 3D localization, and the learned scale prior can fail when cameras, motion, or environments undergo domain shifts. To address this, we propose Map-Det3D, an online multi-view 3D object detection model that brings detection directly into a 3D space reconstructed from RGB. We map a short temporal window into multiple views and repurpose a feed-forward metric 3D reconstruction model as our geometric backbone while tuning its object-aware capabilities. Building on this representation, Map-Det3D directly predicts boxes in metric 3D space, without the widely used 2D-to-3D lifting. Experiments across different benchmarks show that this design supports strong online performance and robust transfer without adaptation, suggesting that training reconstruction priors for detection is a practical route to stable metric 3D detection from monocular video. Learning Gaussian Structure: Intervention-Guided Density Control for Feed-Forward Driving Reconstruction

Feed-forward Gaussian reconstruction has recently emerged as an efficient approach for driving scene reconstruction. However, prevailing LiDAR-based methods preserve the initial correspondence between observed points and Gaussian primitives, treating the initialized primitive set as the final representation. Unlike optimization-based 3DGS, these methods cannot accumulate gradients during training to determine how the scenes representation should be densified. Meanwhile, the shared sparse backbone only fuses observations from different timestamps implicitly, without explicitly aggregating cross-time evidence for individual primitives. In this paper, we present Learning Gaussian Structure (LGS), a framework that enhances both Gaussian structure and primitive attributes. Our key observation is that changes in local gradient responses induced by a prune or add intervention reveal whether the corresponding structural adjustment benefits reconstruction. Based on this observation, our Gaussian Densify Policy learns a Densify Map comprising Prune and Addition Scores from controlled interventions, and directly adjusts the Gaussian structure during inference. We further develop a compact Cross-Time Point Query that explicitly retrieves and aggregates neighboring features from Gaussian primitives at other timestamps for reliable attribute prediction. Extensive experiments on the Waymo Open Dataset and PandaSet demonstrate that LGS consistently outperforms existing methods.

Compact Feed-Forward 3D Gaussians via Saliency-Guided Primitive Merging

3D scene reconstruction, modeling, and rendering are highly relevant for numerous tasks, and 3D Gaussian splatting has become a standard choice in this context. Its feed-forward variants provide fast reconstruction from sparse input views but often produce per-pixel primitives, leading to highly redundant and thus inefficient representations. We present a structure-aware merging pipeline that takes per-pixel primitives from any feed-forward method and consolidates them into a compact, content-adaptive Gaussian set while largely retaining visual quality at just 120th\frac{1}{20}^\text{th} of the Gaussians of a per-pixel method. We group spatially coherent Gaussians of similar appearance into variable-size clusters via adaptive superpixel segmentation guided by a saliency map, which allocates fine segments to textured regions and coarse segments to homogeneous areas. We compress each cluster into a compact latent representation through a learned encoder, then match and consolidate representations across views based on geometric overlap and feature similarity via a learned merger. A level-of-detail decoder then produces the final Gaussians at a controllable resolution, enabling a flexible quality-efficiency trade-off at inference. As a post-processing module, the pipeline is backbone-agnostic, leveraging the strengths of existing feed-forward methods. This leads to better and more robust quality than achieved by previous approaches that target a reduction in primitive count, while providing a highly compact representation, that can be rendered efficiently.

Visual Geometry Foundation-Aware Gaussians for Single-Frame Surround-View Driving Reconstruction

Single-frame surround-view reconstruction faces severe geometric instability and rendering artifacts due to minimal inter-camera overlap. While existing methods rely on complex decoders or auxiliary cues, they remain bottlenecked by the weak geometric capacity of upstream features. We argue that leveraging pretrained visual geometry priors strengthens upstream representations and alleviates the geometric ambiguity in sparse surround views. To this end, we propose VGGD, a visual geometry foundation-aware 3D Gaussian Splatting framework for feed-forward surround-view driving reconstruction, which shifts geometric modeling to the frontend and adapts foundation priors to the driving camera setting. First, VGGD leverages VGGT to provide transferable multi-view geometric prior tokens. Next, we introduce a Dual-Path Neck to decouple geometry-consistent and appearance-aware representations, improving appearance completion in weakly observed regions. We further apply Scale Warmup to stabilize early geometry learning and suppress scale drift under ego-pose changes. Finally, we use a hybrid pixel--volume Gaussian decoder to produce a renderable 3D Gaussian scene for novel-view synthesis. Experiments on the nuScenes single-frame benchmark show that VGGD achieves the best overall rendering quality among the compared methods and improves relative geometric consistency.

FlexSplat: Flexible Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting without Point Cloud Correspondence

We present FlexSplat, a feed-forward framework for novel view synthesis (NVS) from uncalibrated, object-centric multi-view image collections. A recent line of query-based methods reconstructs a compact set of 3D Gaussians by treating them as transformer queries that are refined with multi-view deformable attention; these methods, however, assume that camera poses are given. FlexSplat removes this assumption: a geometry transformer is trained jointly with the Gaussian decoder to predict per-image camera parameters and depth, which in turn ground a depth-guided Gaussian parameterization and a multi-view deformable cross-attention that aggregates evidence across all input views into a single, view-consistent set of primitives. An uncertainty-weighted depth-consistency objective lets the jointly trained geometry adapt to the reconstruction task, while the cross-view consensus formed during decoding absorbs the residual error of the estimated cameras and depth. The representation uses a compact Gaussian budget that is decoupled from the input resolution - unlike pixel-aligned methods, the primitive count does not grow with the image grid - and is not dictated by the number of views. On ShapeNet-SRN and Google Scanned Objects (GSO), FlexSplat matches or approaches posed state-of-the-art reconstructors while requiring neither camera poses nor ground-truth depth, and matches the best perceptual (LPIPS) quality among the compared methods on GSO. Our results indicate that a jointly trained geometry front-end is sufficient to bring calibration-free operation to query-based Gaussian reconstruction while staying within 0.7 dB PSNR of posed methods and matching their perceptual quality.

InstanceSplat: Instance-Aware Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting for Scene Understanding

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables efficient and generalizable 3D reconstruction, but current feed-forward 3DGS methods for scene understanding remain largely category-oriented. In contrast, instance-aware 3DGS methods typically rely on per-scene optimization and often decouple reconstruction from instance and semantic learning, limiting reciprocal interactions among them. We present InstanceSplat, a unified feed-forward 3DGS framework for generalizable 3D reconstruction and instance-aware scene understanding from pose-free multi-view images. In a single forward pass, InstanceSplat constructs an instance-aware Gaussian representation that jointly encodes appearance, geometry, instance identity, and language-aligned semantics. Shared 3D Gaussians ground instance identities across views, producing renderable and cross-view-consistent instance features. To allow reconstruction and scene understanding to benefit from each other, we further design an instance-centric learning strategy that connects reconstruction, instance learning, and semantic learning through shared instance structure. Specifically, instance cues guide reconstruction, language-aligned semantics strengthen the discrimination of confusing same-category instances, and instance regions aggregate semantic evidence into coherent object-level predictions. Experiments on novel-view synthesis, instance segmentation, and open-vocabulary semantic understanding under varying input-view settings and on an unseen dataset demonstrate state-of-the-art performance, practical efficiency, and strong generalization.

InfiniSplat: Implicit Gaussian Decoding for Large-Baseline Monocular View Synthesis

Single-image feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) aims to directly generate a renderable 3D scene representation from one input image, avoiding the cost of multi-view capture and per-scene optimization. However, existing methods are often constrained by a pixel-aligned representation, where Gaussians are predicted from fixed image-grid locations. Such pixel-aligned primitives can produce promising nearby-view renderings, but they remain weakly coupled to underlying scene surfaces and struggle to preserve coherent structures under large viewpoint shifts. We present InfiniSplat, a feed-forward single-image 3DGS framework that moves from a pixel-aligned representation toward a surface-aligned representation. InfiniSplat constructs this representation by first using geometry-guided sampling to place 2D supports according to depth-induced local surface structure, and then applying a query-conditioned implicit decoder to predict Gaussian attributes from the image features queried at these supports. By grounding support locations in geometry while decoupling Gaussian prediction from fixed pixel centers, InfiniSplat produces Gaussian layouts that better follow scene surfaces and reduce scattered primitives caused by grid discretization. Across multiple cross-dataset NVS evaluations, InfiniSplat achieves state-of-the-art performance compared with single-image feed-forward baselines, and demonstrates zero-shot generalization from Hypersim indoor synthetic training to complex open-world scenes. DerainSplat: Feed-Forward Clean 3D Gaussian Splatting from Sparse Rainy Views

Although image deraining has advanced substantially, existing methods mainly focus on 2D image restoration. As spatial intelligence applications such as embodied AI and autonomous driving continue to emerge, reconstructing clean 3D scenes from sparse rainy views in a feed-forward manner becomes increasingly important. Existing feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) methods often assume clean inputs and collapse under rainy conditions. To this end, we present DerainSplat, a feed-forward framework that reconstructs clean 3D scenes from only a few rainy views. To support this task, we build a large-scale multi-view derain dataset through a four-stage synthesis pipeline that sequentially models overcast illumination, depth-dependent haze, rain streaks, and lens raindrops, producing privileged weather factors. We introduce a weather net that predicts the weather factors from rainy context and yields two support maps. Scene support modulates cross-view cost-volume matching, while radiance support drives depth-aligned appearance fusion to fill corrupted pixels. The derived geometry evidence further attenuates Gaussian opacity to reduce spurious structures. A rainy cycle consistency re-renders clean views using the predicted factors and aligns them with rainy inputs. Extensive experiments show that DerainSplat outperforms existing methods on various datasets, including RealEstate10K, ACID, Mip-NeRF360, and real-world rainy scenes, with strong cross-dataset generalization.

UniqueSplat: View-conditioned 3D Gaussian Splatting for Generalizable 3D Reconstruction

In this paper, we propose UniqueSplat, a view-conditioned feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting model to reconstruct customized 3D radiance fields for each view query. Existing feed-forward methods such as pixelSplat and MVSplat aim to generate fixed Gaussians across all views of each scene by minimizing the error between rendered views and ground-truth images. However, such fixed Gaussians generally render images from all views and lack the ability to adapt to specific viewpoints, as they do not incorporate target view information when predicting Gaussians. To address this, our UniqueSplat learns the view-conditioned information as a prior and incorporates this knowledge into network parameters, so that Gaussians are dynamically adjusted in accordance with different views. Specifically, we propose a two-branch view-conditioned hyperNetwork to simultaneously learn view-agnostic embeddings and view-specific knowledge, which not only explores the shareable knowledge from various views, but also adapts the model to specific views at test time. Extensive experiments on widely-used datasets including RealEstate10K, ACID and DTU demonstrate the superiority of UniqueSplat over the state-of-the-art methods. Moreover, UniqueSplat encouragingly outperforms existing methods in cross-dataset evaluation, showing its notable generalization ability.

StreamSplat: Streaming Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting enables efficient novel-view synthesis without per-scene optimization, but most existing methods assume a fixed set of context views and process them jointly. This limits their applicability to online scenarios where calibrated views arrive sequentially and the scene must be updated causally. We present StreamSplat, a streaming feed-forward 3DGS framework that incrementally maintains a persistent geometry-grounded scene state and decodes it into renderable 3D Gaussians after each input chunk. StreamSplat centers on a Voxel-Aligned Causal Cache (VACC), which stores historical 3D tokens in a memory-bounded voxel structure so that memory grows with explored scene geometry rather than stream length. To better reuse history during causal prediction, we introduce History-Projected Depth Anchoring (HPDA) to project cached geometry as depth guidance for current cost-volume estimation, and Cache-Guided Feature Injection (CGFI) to inject cached latent evidence into Gaussian-token regression. Experiments on DL3DV, RealEstate10K, and ScanNet show that StreamSplat remains competitive with state-of-the-art feed-forward 3DGS methods under sparse causal inputs, despite not using future views or full-scene context. More importantly, it scales to long input streams with 256, 512, and 1024 views where fixed-view baselines run out of memory, yielding sustained improvements in novel-view synthesis quality as more observations arrive. The code will be made publicly available upon acceptance.

UAV3DCrop: Benchmarking 3D Reconstruction in Repeated Multi-Angle UAV Crop Surveys

Accurate 3D crop monitoring underpins data-driven precision agriculture by enabling field-scale analysis of plant structure, growth dynamics, and management response. Modern 3D reconstruction methods perform strongly on generic benchmarks, but rendered appearance may not translate into metrically and agronomically useful geometry in crop fields. We introduce UAV3DCrop, a public benchmark of repeated multi-angle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crop surveys. It contains 88,830 RGB images at 5280×39565280 \times 3956 pixels, with a ground sampling distance of 3.6-5.8 mm, from 91 scenes spanning corn, soybean, wheat, and oat. Track A evaluates seven scene-optimized methods -- Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) and 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) variants -- on held-out views, photogrammetry-referenced depth, and canopy-height recovery. Track B tests four pretrained feed-forward models on zero-shot camera-pose and geometry estimation. The scene-optimized methods rank differently across the three targets: Splatfacto-big leads appearance, whereas Scaffold-GS leads depth and is statistically tied with Splatfacto for canopy height. Among feed-forward models, MapAnything leads on seven of the eight metrics, while the remaining models vary more across crops and fail severely on absolute scale in a way that alignment conceals. Repeated acquisitions reveal further sensitivities that differ by output type and by model, associated with position within the acquisition sequence and with tie-point multiplicity. Current 3D reconstruction methods are therefore not yet interchangeable for agronomic use: no single method wins on appearance, geometry, and canopy height at once, and only one of four feed-forward models recovers usable metric scale. The dataset is publicly available at https://link-dev.github.io/UAV3DCrop/

QuerySplat: Decoupling Geometry and Appearance Representations in 3DGS Prediction

While feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables efficient 3D reconstruction, achieving high-fidelity rendering remains challenging. Existing pixel-aligned approaches suffer from spatial inflexibility and massive structural redundancy, whereas query-based methods lack 3D priors and entangle geometry with appearance, yielding blurry, pose-dependent results. To overcome these deficiencies, we propose QuerySplat, a feed-forward 3DGS framework driven by geometric priors and explicit appearance decoupling. Specifically, we design a dual-branch query-based decoder: the geometry branch leverages a pretrained Vision Geometric Model for spatial understanding, which intrinsically endows QuerySplat with pose-free modeling capabilities, while the appearance branch recovers high-frequency details through a dedicated pathway separated from geometric attribute regression. Extensive experiments demonstrate that QuerySplat mitigates the blurry rendering issues of early query-based models and consistently outperforms pixel-aligned approaches in rendering fidelity. On the challenging DL3DV benchmark, it achieves state-of-the-art novel view synthesis performance, with average PSNR gains of 2.30 dB and 1.04 dB over the best pose-free and pose-required baselines, respectively. Forwardrobe: Garment-Aware Gaussian Avatars from a Single Image

Reconstructing animatable 3D human avatars from a single image remains particularly challenging for loose garments, whose geometry and motion cannot be adequately represented by body-aligned topology and skinning. We present Forwardrobe, a feed-forward framework for reconstructing garment-aware Gaussian avatars from a single image. Forwardrobe explicitly separates clothing from the body in canonical Gaussian space and equips the garment layer with continuity-aware geometry and skinning initialization, pose-conditioned non-rigid deformation, and appearance adaptation. These designs improve garment reconstruction and visual quality during animation, particularly for skirts and dresses. The separated garment layer additionally forms an independently controllable 3D asset, enabling garment editing, transfer, and 3D virtual try-on. Experiments demonstrate improved garment reconstruction quality and greater flexibility in garment manipulation compared with existing single-image avatar reconstruction methods.

Genie Sim PanoWorld: An Infinite Indoor 3D World Generation Pipeline via Panoramic Scene Modeling and Simulation

We address the problem of reconstructing a high-fidelity, freely navigable 3D scene from a single 360∘360^\circ panorama, without per-scene optimization or multi-view capture. Existing methods either lack metric trajectory control, which hinders reliable downstream 3D reconstruction, or struggle with large disocclusions under long-range camera motion while requiring high-end multi-GPU servers. We present Genie Sim PanoWorld, a two-stage feed-forward pipeline that bridges generation and reconstruction via an explicit, trajectory-controllable panoramic video. A NavMesh-planned SE(3)\mathrm{SE}(3) roaming trajectory is injected into a latent video diffusion model through dense geometry-warped conditioning; long--short trajectory mixed training and a self-consistency objective based on shortcut models together yield high-fidelity video in four CFG-free denoising steps. A feed-forward panoramic reconstructor then lifts the generated video into a high-fidelity 3D Gaussian scene that supports real-time, free-viewpoint roaming and can be directly used as a simulation-ready asset for embodied AI applications. Experiments show that Genie Sim PanoWorld outperforms geometry-conditioned baselines in both panoramic video generation and downstream 3D reconstruction, while generalizing zero-shot to unseen indoor scenes.

GenSplatCodec: Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting Compression via One-Step Diffusion

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables scalable scene reconstruction without per-scene optimization, yet produces dense Gaussians that are costly to store and transmit. Existing feed-forward Gaussian compression methods formulate decoding as deterministic representation recovery, which becomes inadequate at low bitrates when high-frequency textures and view-dependent appearance are discarded. Although generative models offer a promising alternative, using them as standalone post-processing decouples generation from the transmitted scene structure, thereby compromising cross-view consistency. To address these limitations, we propose GenSplatCodec, a unified feed-forward Gaussian codec that reformulates low-bitrate Gaussian compression as geometry-guided generative decoding. We present a detail-aware feed-forward Gaussian coding scheme within a dual-stream formulation, where the resulting compact Gaussian structural stream is complemented by a lightweight reference appearance stream. We further introduce a geometry-guided one-step generative decoding approach that jointly exploits decoded structural and appearance cues through hierarchical geometry control to reconstruct high-fidelity and view-consistent novel views. Finally, we develop a three-stage optimization strategy that stabilizes the learning of the unified codec and adapts the generative decoder to codec-derived structural and appearance cues. Extensive experiments across multiple datasets demonstrate that GenSplatCodec consistently achieves superior rate-distortion (RD) performance over existing methods.

RoadVGGT: Road-Structure-Aware Feed-Forward Road Surface Reconstruction

Large-scale road surface reconstruction supports high-definition mapping, autonomous-driving perception, annotation, and simulation. Existing road-specialized optimization methods can produce high-quality road representations, but they typically require per-scene training and scene-dependent coverage design around the driving trajectory, limiting scalable reconstruction over newly collected roads. To address these limitations, we introduce RoadVGGT, a road-structure-aware feed-forward framework that reconstructs compact Gaussian road surfaces without test-time per-scene optimization. RoadVGGT uses a geometric foundation model to exploit multi-view images together with provided pose and depth observations, and predicts dense pixel-aligned Gaussian attributes through a learned Gaussian head. To make these dense predictions usable for large road surfaces, we align them into a consistent metric world coordinate system and fuse redundant Gaussians on the road-aligned XY plane through confidence-weighted grid fusion. Category-aware grouping and road--sidewalk junction protection further control fusion around vulnerable road structures. The resulting representation supports RGB and semantic bird's-eye-view maps, elevation estimation, and novel view synthesis. RoadVGGT eliminates the need for per-scene optimization in prior methods, reconstructs complete road surfaces with a compact Gaussian representation, and improves image quality, semantic mapping, and elevation accuracy. Extensive experiments demonstrate the potential of geometric foundation models for scalable feed-forward road surface reconstruction.

WAT3R: Feedforward Underwater 3D Reconstruction

Reliable feedforward underwater 3D reconstruction remains challenging due to severe light attenuation and backscattering, which degrade visual quality and disrupt feature consistency across views, leading to inaccurate multi-view geometry. To address this issue, we propose WAT3R, a feed-forward framework for reconstructing 3D scenes directly from underwater images. By leveraging degradation adaptation as a geometry-constrained process, WAT3R integrates a lightweight neural adaptation module to flexibly account for these underwater imaging effects, thereby improving multi-view reconstruction quality. Implemented in a single forward pass, WAT3R directly and efficiently outputs pixel-aligned 3D point maps and camera poses from underwater videos, allowing a high-quality underwater 3D reconstruction. Experiments conducted on the FLSea, SQUID, and USOD10K datasets show that our method consistently outperforms state-of-the-art approaches on 3D reconstruction tasks, including multi-view/monocular depth estimation and camera pose estimation.

ATSplat: Compact Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting with Adaptive Token Expansion

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) achieves high-quality novel-view synthesis by optimizing freely placed primitives in 3D and adaptively densifying them in under-reconstructed regions. However, this scene-adaptive capacity allocation is largely lost in existing feed-forward 3DGS methods, which commonly regress Gaussians at input pixels and lift them along camera rays. Such pixel-aligned formulations make the number and placement of primitives depend on image resolution and input viewpoints rather than scene complexity, resulting in dense and often redundant Gaussian sets. We present ATSplat, a feed-forward 3DGS framework that restores the adaptive allocation capability of 3DGS optimization through Adaptive 3D Tokens. ATSplat first lifts coarse patch-level depth and camera cues into sparse 3D anchor tokens, forming a compact scaffold of the scene. Each token is then regressed into local Gaussians with learnable 3D offsets, decoupling primitive placement from input image grids. An Adaptive Token Expansion module predicts a token-level uncertainty score, supervised by rendering error maps, and selectively expands high-uncertainty tokens through learnable expansion layers. This sparse-to-adaptive formulation enables ATSplat to concentrate primitives in challenging regions while maintaining a compact representation. Experiments on two representative datasets, RealEstate10K and DL3DV, show that ATSplat achieves state-of-the-art rendering quality while reducing the number of Gaussians by more than 5.7×5.7\times compared with dense feed-forward 3DGS methods. From 12 input images at 512×960512 \times 960 resolution, ATSplat completes reconstruction in less than a second using a single commercial GPU, and renders high-quality novel views at 1136 FPS (512×960512 \times 960) with only 311K Gaussians.

UVFaceFusion: Fast Multi-view Topologically Consistent Face Reconstruction in the Wild via UV-space Neural Fusion

Reconstructing high-fidelity facial geometry with an assigned topology is essential for digital avatar creation and animation, yet existing automated methods often trade off geometric fidelity and in-the-wild generalization. We present UVFaceFusion, a feed-forward framework for multi-view, fixed-topology face reconstruction from daily images. Our key idea is to replace heuristic topological optimization with learnable neural fusion in a canonical UV space. Given multi-view images, we first obtain dense point maps and facial UV correspondences of each view using VGGT and Pixel3DMM, respectively. Then, the view-specific point maps are lifted into the canonical UV domain and fused with a novel mask-aware neural fusion network. The network predicts a complete UV-space point map, from which a fixed-topology mesh is directly sampled. Although trained only on Ava-256, UVFaceFusion generalizes well to multiple public benchmarks and in-the-wild captures, benefiting from its canonical UV-space geometry-to-geometry fusion that reduces dependence on dataset-specific appearance and capture conditions. Experiments on various benchmarks show that UVFaceFusion achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction accuracy while reconstructing a mesh from 16 input views in less than 3 seconds on a single RTX 4090. FF-ProCams: Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting for Projector-Camera System

Projector-camera (ProCams) systems achieve active scene perception and controllable appearance manipulation via structured illumination, serving as a core infrastructure for spatial augmented reality, projection mapping, and surface reflectance acquisition. Existing inverse-rendering methods for ProCams deliver high-fidelity results but rely on time-consuming per-scene optimization, while mainstream feed-forward 3D reconstruction models produce baked appearance that cannot adapt to spatially varying projector illumination. To resolve this accuracy-efficiency trade-off, we propose FF-ProCams, a Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian inverse-rendering framework for ProCams. A hybrid Mamba2-Transformer encoder aggregates cross-view geometric and photometric cues from sparse multi-view observations, and lightweight heads predict a relightable Gaussian representation in a single forward pass. We further design a projector-aware differentiable renderer to synthesize camera observations under arbitrary active illumination and ProCams poses. To enable feed-forward training, we construct a large-scale synthetic ProCams dataset covering diverse object geometries and surface materials. Experiments show FF-ProCams achieves high-fidelity projector-aware rendering, generalizes to unseen patterns, and supports novel projector-camera poses. Using only 8 input views, it outperforms optimization-based baselines with 297 views while reducing test-time reconstruction to 0.13 seconds (a three-to-five-order-of-magnitude speedup). The code and data are available at https://github.com/CPREgroup/FF-ProCams/.

Points as Tori: Fast Pointwise Signed Distance for Point Clouds

We describe a method for computing signed distance to point clouds that allows fast pointwise evaluation at arbitrary spatial resolution. As input, our method takes a point cloud with normals; as output, it provides an analytical parameterization that allows queries of signed distance to the approximate underlying surface at arbitrary points - simultaneously providing reconstruction and distance. Our key idea is to reconstruct shapes by locally fitting point clouds with tori, which have closed-form signed distance functions. Tori are fitted in a feed-forward manner, using a pre-trained network to output per-point curvature and shift parameters. Importantly, our method does not require costly global optimization or spatial discretization, and is easily parallelizable. Underlying our method is a new theory that unifies signed distance with the classic reconstruction methods of winding numbers and Poisson surface reconstruction. We use our method to compute signed distance to point clouds arising from photogrammetry, meshes, 3D Gaussians, and neural implicits. Our method allows point clouds to be used directly in applications, without explicit surface reconstruction: as examples, we take offsets of point clouds, apply morphological and Boolean operations, and directly visualize offset surfaces using sphere tracing.

Event3R: Asynchronous-to-Global 3D Reconstruction from Event Camera via Spatial-Temporal Feature Aggregation

Robust 3D reconstruction is essential for robotics and embodied perception. Recent feed-forward approaches such as DUSt3R have demonstrated impressive progress in dense 3D reconstruction from RGB images, achieving global geometric consistency and strong generalization. However, extending such dense 3D reconstruction to event cameras remains challenging due to their asynchronous, sparse, and highly dynamic nature, as well as the lack of large-scale, well-labeled datasets. In this work, we introduce Event3R, a feed-forward framework that directly maps asynchronous event streams to globally consistent 3D point clouds. Event3R represents incoming events as spatial-temporal voxels, enabling time-aware feature integration through a temporal attention module that enhances the module's temporal feature learning. To further strengthen temporal representation learning and reduce reliance on labeled data, we propose a Masked Bin Modeling (MBM) strategy for self-supervised pre-training, enabling robust temporal representation learning with minimal labeled data, and retain it as an auxiliary fine-tuning objective. In addition, contrastive alignment and consistency regularization losses are incorporated during fine-tuning to reinforce structural correspondence and temporal coherence across views. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world benchmarks demonstrate that Event3R achieves robust, temporally consistent, and globally aligned 3D reconstructions, significantly outperforming existing event-based methods.
