We present Unravel, a training-free framework that turns a single image into an interactive 3D scene, where every object is an independent and movable asset. Existing generators either produce one entangled geometry in which no object can be moved, or predict all objects in one feed-forward pass, where a wrong guess cannot be detected or repaired. Unravel instead takes a different approach: it first takes the scene apart, and then puts it back together. Starting from the input image, an agentic harness that iteratively peels the image layer by layer, and adopts point cloud as major modality for spatial relationship recovery. Specifically, a vision-language model plans which objects are fully visible, an image editor removes them and restores the occluded regions. Every edit is verified before being incorporated into the reconstruction. This process gradually turns occluded parts of the scene into direct observation, allowing objects to be reconstructed when they are best exposed rather than hallucinated from the original image alone. The scene is then rebuilt in reverse removal order, so that the supporting objects are naturally placed before the objects they support. Since a single-view image only reveals part of an object, we treat the observed points as a lower bound on its size: an asset may grow to cover its points, but can not shrink away from them. Finally, we physically settle the reconstructed scene to remove floating objects and interpenetrations, followed by an agentic audit that corrects remaining placement errors. Extensive experiments on diverse indoor scenes show that Unravel recovers more objects, places them more faithfully, and produces scenes that are more physically-plausible than existing methods.
Tetris3D: 3D Scene Generation With Objects That Fit Together
We propose Tetris3D, a generative framework for single-image 3D scene reconstruction that recovers objects which are physically and geometrically coherent as a scene. Existing methods often generate objects independently or couple them implicitly, providing limited guidance for ensuring fine-grained spatial compatibility between neighboring objects that interact with one another. To address this, we explicitly condition the generation of each object on the geometry of surrounding objects and their physical relationships, guiding its shape and pose to remain geometrically and physically plausible within the scene. Moreover, we introduce ComOb, a physics simulation-based dataset of 1.2M scenes featuring physical interactions across diverse object categories, with per-object meshes and pairwise physical relation annotations. Comprehensive experiments on synthetic and realworld scenes show that Tetris3D recovers coherent object shapes and poses even when interacting regions are occluded, and achieves state-of-the-art performance in both generation quality and physical stability.
Building Rome from a Single Image
Single-image scene generation aims to produce a complete 3D scene mesh from a single image, including surfaces the camera did not observe. While pretrained 3D object generators encode a strong shape prior, they are mainly designed for isolated objects in a fixed canonical volume and focus mostly on indoor scenes, since diverse 3D data for outdoor scenes are quite limited. In this work, we present a method that redesigns such an object-centric generator, e.g., Trellis 2, to work on both indoor and outdoor scenes while retaining its prior. We accomplish this by (a) partitioning the scene into adaptive chunks that scale relative to the distance to the camera; nearby chunks have a smaller size to keep the finer detail, while distant structures, e.g., buildings, are covered by large chunks; (b) making the generator capture explicit 2D-3D correspondence by lifting image features and making the model aware of the free space, observed surface, and unobserved region; (c) synthesizing around 4,000 outdoor scenes to broaden the training data, as existing scene datasets are largely indoor. Experiments on Tanks and Temples, ScanNet++, and in-the-wild images show that our method outperforms all baselines in geometric accuracy and perceptual quality across both indoor and outdoor scenes.
DistScene: Object-to-Scene Distillation for 3D Scene Generation
We present DistScene, a framework for single-image compositional 3D scene generation by jointly modeling the environment and individual objects. Unlike existing methods that represent scenes primarily as collections of objects, we model the environment as an explicit scene component to provide geometric context for object placement. Specifically, we introduce Scene-Frame Generation, which jointly generates separate environment and object components in a shared coordinate frame, allowing their geometry and relative placement to be learned together. Then we introduce Object-Centric Refinement to refine each object in a local frame with scene context. Finally, we develop Object-to-Scene Distillation to transfer pretrained object-generation priors to scene generation through automatically composed and rendered synthetic scenes. Evaluations on indoor and outdoor benchmarks demonstrate improved scene-level spatial coherence over the evaluated baselines. Project page: https://coolbeam.github.io/DistScene/
Mira-Scene: Pixel-Aligned Layouts for Generative 3D Scene Reconstruction
Single-image 3D object generation can now produce high-fidelity assets, yet accurately placing them into a coherent scene layout remains an open challenge. A central difficulty lies in how object layout is represented. Holistic methods absorb placement into a scene-level generation process, sacrificing object-level detail. Compositional methods preserve object fidelity by decoupling geometry from layout, but typically parameterize layout as sparse, unbounded pose variables that are difficult to learn and generalize poorly under scarce scene-level supervision. We present Mira-Scene, a compositional 3D scene reconstruction framework that replaces sparse pose regression with dense, bounded correspondence recovery. At its core is the Canonical Coordinate Map (CCM), a pixel-aligned field that maps each visible object pixel to a surface coordinate in the object's bounded canonical space. When paired with a scene-space Point Cloud Map (PCM) from monocular geometry estimation, CCM induces dense canonical-to-scene correspondences from which object transformations are recovered through robust geometric alignment. Because CCM operates in bounded canonical space, it provides a stable prediction target that can be trained from scalable object-level 3D data without requiring scene-level layout annotations. Mira-Scene further introduces a multimodal diffusion transformer that jointly generates object geometry and CCMs, using modality-specific expert streams with shared attention and positional encoding to promote geometry-layout consistency. Experiments on indoor, outdoor, synthetic, and in-the-wild scenes show that Mira-Scene substantially outperforms strong baselines in layout accuracy, achieving relative gains of 39.8% in 3D-IoU and 16.5% in 2D-IoU over SAM3D, using limited open-source training data.
SpatialCrafter: Single Image World Modeling with Generative 3D Proxies
Explorable image-to-scene generation is essential for applications in gaming, robotics, and virtual reality. Existing methods based on video diffusion model (VDM) commonly rely on incomplete conditioning signals such as sparse point clouds or 2D panoramas, leading to stochastic hallucinations, long-term drifts and suboptimal 3D consistency. We present SpatialCrafter, a novel two-stage framework that addresses these issues by introducing a global 3D proxy for high-fidelity image-to-scene generation. Specifically, we decompose the generation process into global proxy generation and appearance refinement. For proxy generation, we propose a Point-anchored Sparse Structure~(PaSS) Flow module that predicts a spatially aligned and geometrically consistent 3D proxy. For appearance refinement, we re-frame the VDM as a Generative Deferred Refiner which synthesizes high-frequency photorealistic details upon proxy-defined scene geometry. To better integrate the proxy with the pre-trained VDM, we introduce Parallel Geometry Injection and Proxy-Aware Corruption training strategies, which improve robustness to proxy artifacts without disrupting the pretrained generative manifold. Furthermore, as no suitable dataset exists for this explorable scene generation task, we construct a new large-scale dataset of 115K scenes. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first hybrid dataset for image-to-scene generation. Extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets show that SpatialCrafter outperforms state-of-the-art methods, mitigates long-term drift, and remains robust and consistent under rapid camera motion and extreme viewpoint changes. Scene-SAM3D: Multi-View Scene Asset Generation Without Fine-Tuning
High-quality 3D scene assets are critical for embodied applications such as robotic manipulation, navigation, and simulation. Despite their strong object priors, recent single-image 3D generation models such as SAM3D remain insufficient for real-world scenes, where severe occlusions, redundant observations, and cross-view inconsistencies make reliable scene generation challenging. We introduce Scene-SAM3D, a training-free framework that extends SAM3D from single-view object generation to calibrated multi-view scene asset generation. Scene-SAM3D selects a compact set of complementary views, reducing observation redundancy while providing additional evidence for regions occluded in individual views. Based on the selected views, it performs step-efficient latent velocity fusion to integrate multi-view evidence and suppress cross-view conflicts in canonical space. Finally, a lightweight rigid-object Gaussian optimization refines the scene layout within 200 iterations while preserving the generated object geometry. Experiments on Replica and ScanNet++ demonstrate consistent improvements at both instance and scene levels, with our method reducing scene-level CD by 43.8% on Replica and 30.9% on ScanNet++, while cutting flow-model sampling FLOPs and wall-time latency by nearly 20% under the same multi-view setting. Code will be released at https://github.com/xibi777/Scene-SAM3D.
HIVE-3D: Hierarchical Voxel Enhancement for High-Quality 3D Scene Generation
Recently, a line of works can generate impressive 3D objects from a single image, but they are limited by restricted representation resolution, making them unsuitable for 3D scene generation. In this work, we introduce HIVE-3D, a novel method for high-quality 3D scene generation based on hierarchical voxel enhancement framework. Specifically, given a single scene image as input, we first produce a coarse initial scene, then introduce image segmentation and attention-based retrieval to align 2D image components with 3D scene components. Subsequently, we organize these scene relations into a hierarchical component tree, where nodes closer to the leaves denote finer-grained components. Finally, we propose a voxel super-resolution model that generates refined voxels for the target instance while maintaining strong consistency with the coarse voxels. Equipped with this model, we perform coarse-to-fine hierarchical super-resolution on images and voxels for each component, producing a high-resolution and high-quality 3D scene. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms previous approaches, achieving state-of-the-art performance.
ABot-3DWorld 0: A Universal World Model to Explore Any 3D Space
We present ABot-3DWorld 0, a universal multimodal 3D world model that turns text, image, and video inputs into high-fidelity, explorable 3D worlds. At the heart of our framework is a unified Spatial Generative Primitive (SGP), a compact tuple of a high-quality panorama and a spatial point cloud that delivers an efficient description of any 3D space. Multimodal inputs are first lifted into this primitive; a 3D-consistent panoramic video generator then explores the primitive along a planned trajectory; finally, our panoramic video reconstruction engine converts the generated video into a clean, photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) world. This pipeline covers two regimes: rich inputs (multi-view sets, casual video) are lifted into the SGP through a geometry-rigorous recovery that mirrors the observed scene, while a single image or sentence is completed generatively into a creative world. The result is one low-barrier engine for general 3D content creation that further anchors generated worlds to geographic points of interest, enabling map-native spatial exploration at consumer scale. Experiments show that ABot-3DWorld 0 sets the state of the art among open-source methods and demonstrates stronger scene fidelity than Marble under rich multimodal inputs.
SynCity 3000: Bootstrapping Scene-Scale 3D Diffusion
We present SynCity 3000, a framework for generating 3D scenes that are globally coherent while enabling fine-grained layout control. Building on the ability of current image-to-3D generators to produce complex 3D assets from a single image, we extend this capability to the scale of entire scenes by adapting the generator to be applicable as a convolutional operator. We achieve this by fine-tuning the model on scene-like data generated by a new synthetic data engine, which we propose to address the scarcity of 3D scene data for training. The convolutional generator is then applied to a dimetric image of the entire scene, generated from the user prompt, resulting in 3D scenes of arbitrary size and complexity. Across diverse prompts and layouts, SynCity 3000 produces large, coherent, and detailed scenes, addressing the shortcomings of prior approaches to 3D scene generation.
InSpace: Structure-Aware 3D Indoor Scene Generation from a Single 360° Image
Recent advances in single image-to-3D generation have enabled high-quality asset synthesis, yet extending these capabilities to indoor scene generation remains challenging. Existing methods focus on asset-level generation while neglecting the structural layout, which is essential for downstream applications and serves as the spatial anchor for grounding assets. However, a single image with a limited field of view lacks the spatial coverage to recover a coherent global layout. To this end, we use a 360° image represented in equirectangular projection (ERP) and propose InSpace, a structure-aware framework for 3D indoor scene generation. InSpace comprises three stages: (1) estimating partial scene geometry as spatial priors, (2) generating coarse scene structure with view-selective cross-attention, and (3) producing detailed layout and asset geometry with textures through a global-local hybrid attention, using flow matching. We also propose ERP-FRONT, a paired ERP-Image-to-3D indoor scene dataset based on 3D-FRONT. Experiments show that InSpace generates complete 3D indoor scenes with structural layout, along with separate textured assets from a single ERP image, achieving strong performance across 3D and 2D metrics. Code-as-Room: Generating 3D Rooms from Top-Down View Images via Agentic Code Synthesis
Designing realistic and functional 3D indoor rooms is essential for a wide range of applications, including interior design, virtual reality, gaming, and embodied AI. While recent MLLM-based approaches have shown great potential for 3D room synthesis from textual descriptions or reference images, text-based methods struggle to capture precise spatial information, and existing image-conditioned agents suffer from instability and infinite looping when tasked with holistic room generation from top-down views. To address these limitations, we propose Code-as-Room, an MLLM-based agentic framework equipped with a structured execution harness, which represents 3D rooms with Blender codes. Given a top-down room image, the framework parses the reference image to extract scene elements and their spatial relationships, and synthesizes executable Blender code for geometry, materials, and lighting in a principled, multi-stage pipeline. A cross-stage memory module is maintained throughout to mitigate context forgetting inherent to existing agent-based frameworks. We further introduce a dedicated benchmark for code-based 3D room synthesis, encompassing various evaluation protocols. Based on our benchmark, comprehensive comparisons against existing agent-based methods are conducted to validate the effectiveness of our proposed execution harness.
Rethinking Image-to-3D Generation with Sparse Queries: Efficiency, Capacity, and Input-View Bias
We present SparseGen, a novel framework for efficient image-to-3D generation, which exhibits low input-view bias while being significantly faster. Unlike traditional approaches that rely on dense volumetric grids, triplanes, or pixel-aligned primitives, we model scenes with a compact sparse set of learned 3D anchor queries and a learned expansion operator that decodes each transformed query into a small local set of 3D Gaussian primitives. Trained under a rectified-flow reconstruction objective without 3D supervision, our model learns to allocate representation capacity where geometry and appearance matter, achieving significant reductions in memory and inference time while preserving multi-view fidelity. We introduce quantitative measures of input-view bias and utilization to show that sparse queries reduce overfitting to conditioning views while being representationally efficient. Our results argue that sparse set-latent expansion is a principled, practical alternative for efficient 3D generative modeling.
PhyMix: Towards Physically Consistent Single-Image 3D Indoor Scene Generation with Implicit--Explicit Optimization
Existing methods for single-image 3D indoor scene generation often produce visually plausible results that violate real-world physical constraints, limiting their reliability in robotics, embodied AI, and virtual environment design. To bridge this gap, we introduce a Physics Evaluator that assesses four aspects (geometric priors, contact, stability, and deployability) through nine sub-constraints, establishing a benchmark for evaluating physical consistency. Our analysis reveals that even state-of-the-art methods produce scenes with substantial physical inconsistencies despite their visual plausibility. To address these limitations, we propose a framework that incorporates feedback from the Physics Evaluator into both training and inference to improve the physical plausibility of generated scenes. Specifically, PhyMix comprises two components: (i) implicit alignment via Scene-GRPO, a critic-free group-relative preference optimization strategy that uses physical evaluations to guide the generator toward physically plausible layouts, and (ii) explicit refinement via verifier-guided agentic repair, which translates evaluator diagnostics into executable scene-editing skills to correct residual violations at inference time. PhyMix unifies physical evaluation, preference-based alignment, and agentic inference-time correction to improve physical plausibility while retaining the observed scene content. Experiments show improvements in reconstruction quality and physical plausibility, while qualitative examples on stylized and real-world images illustrate the applicability of the framework beyond synthetic inputs.
Genie Sim PanoRecon: Fast Immersive Scene Generation from Single-View Panorama
We present Genie Sim PanoRecon, a feed-forward Gaussian-splatting pipeline that delivers high-fidelity, low-cost 3D scenes for robotic manipulation simulation. The panorama input is decomposed into six non-overlapping cube-map faces, processed in parallel, and seamlessly reassembled. To guarantee geometric consistency across views, we devise a depth-aware fusion strategy coupled with a training-free depth-injection module that steers the monocular feed-forward network to generate coherent 3D Gaussians. The whole system reconstructs photo-realistic scenes in seconds and has been integrated into Genie Sim - a LLM-driven simulation platform for embodied synthetic data generation and evaluation - to provide scalable backgrounds for manipulation tasks. Extend3D: Town-Scale 3D Generation
In this paper, we propose Extend3D, a training-free pipeline for 3D scene generation from a single image, built upon an object-centric 3D generative model. To overcome the limitations of fixed-size latent spaces in object-centric models for representing wide scenes, we extend the latent space in the and directions. Then, by dividing the extended latent space into overlapping patches, we apply the object-centric 3D generative model to each patch and couple them at each time step. Since patch-wise 3D generation with image conditioning requires strict spatial alignment between image and latent patches, we initialize the scene using a point cloud prior from a monocular depth estimator and iteratively refine occluded regions through SDEdit. We discovered that treating the incompleteness of 3D structure as noise during 3D refinement enables 3D completion via a concept, which we term under-noising. Furthermore, to address the sub-optimality of object-centric models for sub-scene generation, we optimize the extended latent during denoising, ensuring that the denoising trajectories remain consistent with the sub-scene dynamics. To this end, we introduce 3D-aware optimization objectives for improved geometric structure and texture fidelity. We demonstrate that our method yields better results than prior methods, as evidenced by human preference and quantitative experiments.
SonoWorld: From One Image to a 3D Audio-Visual Scene
Tremendous progress in visual scene generation now turns a single image into an explorable 3D world, yet immersion remains incomplete without sound. We introduce Image2AVScene, the task of generating a 3D audio-visual scene from a single image, and present SonoWorld, the first framework to tackle this challenge. From one image, our pipeline outpaints a 360° panorama, lifts it into a navigable 3D scene, places language-guided sound anchors, and renders ambisonics for point, areal, and ambient sources, yielding spatial audio aligned with scene geometry and semantics. Quantitative evaluations on a newly curated real-world dataset and a controlled user study confirm the effectiveness of our approach. Beyond free-viewpoint audio-visual rendering, we also demonstrate applications to one-shot acoustic learning and audio-visual spatial source separation. WorldAgents: Can Foundation Image Models be Agents for 3D World Models?
Given the remarkable ability of 2D foundation image models to generate high-fidelity outputs, we investigate a fundamental question: do 2D foundation image models inherently possess 3D world model capabilities? To answer this, we systematically evaluate multiple state-of-the-art image generation models and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) on the task of 3D world synthesis. To harness and benchmark their potential implicit 3D capability, we propose an agentic framing to facilitate 3D world generation. Our approach employs a multi-agent architecture: a VLM-based director that formulates prompts to guide image synthesis, a generator that synthesizes new image views, and a VLM-backed two-step verifier that evaluates and selectively curates generated frames from both 2D image and 3D reconstruction space. Crucially, we demonstrate that our agentic approach provides coherent and robust 3D reconstruction, producing output scenes that can be explored by rendering novel views. Through extensive experiments across various foundation models, we demonstrate that 2D models do indeed encapsulate a grasp of 3D worlds. By exploiting this understanding, our method successfully synthesizes expansive, realistic, and 3D-consistent worlds.
FlowScene: Style-Consistent Indoor Scene Generation with Multimodal Graph Rectified Flow
Scene generation has extensive industrial applications, demanding both high realism and precise control over geometry and appearance. Language-driven retrieval methods compose plausible scenes from a large object database, but overlook object-level control and often fail to enforce scene-level style coherence. Graph-based formulations offer higher controllability over objects and inform holistic consistency by explicitly modeling relations, yet existing methods struggle to produce high-fidelity textured results, thereby limiting their practical utility. We present FlowScene, a tri-branch scene generative model conditioned on multimodal graphs that collaboratively generates scene layouts, object shapes, and object textures. At its core lies a tight-coupled rectified flow model that exchanges object information during generation, enabling collaborative reasoning across the graph. This enables fine-grained control of objects' shapes, textures, and relations while enforcing scene-level style coherence across structure and appearance. Extensive experiments show that FlowScene outperforms both language-conditioned and graph-conditioned baselines in terms of generation realism, style consistency, and alignment with human preferences.
Pano3DComposer: Feed-Forward Compositional 3D Scene Generation from Single Panoramic Image
Current compositional image-to-3D scene generation approaches construct 3D scenes by time-consuming iterative layout optimization or inflexible joint object-layout generation. Moreover, most methods rely on limited field-of-view perspective images, hindering the creation of complete 360-degree environments. To address these limitations, we design Pano3DComposer, an efficient feed-forward framework for panoramic images. To decouple object generation from layout estimation, we propose a plug-and-play Object-World Transformation Predictor. This module converts the 3D objects generated by off-the-shelf image-to-3D models from local to world coordinates. To achieve this, we adapt the VGGT architecture to Alignment-VGGT by using target object crop, multi-view object renderings and camera parameters to predict the transformation. The predictor is trained using pseudo-geometric supervision to address the shape discrepancy between generated and ground-truth objects. For input images from unseen domains, we further introduce a Coarse-to-Fine (C2F) alignment mechanism for Pano3DComposer that iteratively refines geometric consistency with feedback of scene rendering. Our method achieves superior geometric accuracy for image/text-to-3D tasks on synthetic and real-world datasets. It can generate a high-fidelity 3D scene in approximately 20 seconds on an RTX 4090 GPU. Project page: https://qiuzidian.github.io/pano3dcomposer-page/.
SceneTransporter: Optimal Transport-Guided Compositional Latent Diffusion for Single-Image Structured 3D Scene Generation
We introduce SceneTransporter, an end-to-end framework for structured 3D scene generation from a single image. While existing methods generate part-level 3D objects, they often fail to organize these parts into distinct instances in open-world scenes. Through a debiased clustering probe, we reveal a critical insight: this failure stems from the lack of structural constraints within the model's internal assignment mechanism. Based on this finding, we reframe the task of structured 3D scene generation as a global correlation assignment problem. To solve this, SceneTransporter formulates and solves an entropic Optimal Transport (OT) objective within the denoising loop of the compositional DiT model. This formulation imposes two powerful structural constraints. First, the resulting transport plan gates cross-attention to enforce an exclusive, one-to-one routing of image patches to part-level 3D latents, preventing entanglement. Second, the competitive nature of the transport encourages the grouping of similar patches, a process that is further regularized by an edge-based cost, to form coherent objects and prevent fragmentation. Extensive experiments show that SceneTransporter outperforms existing methods on open-world scene generation, significantly improving instance-level coherence and geometric fidelity. Code and models will be publicly available at https://2019epwl.github.io/SceneTransporter/.
One2Scene: Geometric Consistent Explorable 3D Scene Generation from a Single Image
Generating explorable 3D scenes from a single image is a highly challenging problem in 3D vision. Existing methods struggle to support free exploration, often producing severe geometric distortions and noisy artifacts when the viewpoint moves far from the original perspective. We introduce One2Scene, an effective framework that decomposes this ill-posed problem into three tractable sub-tasks to enable immersive explorable scene generation. We first use a panorama generator to produce anchor views from a single input image as initialization. Then, we lift these 2D anchors into an explicit 3D geometric scaffold via a generalizable, feed-forward Gaussian Splatting network. Instead of treating the panorama as a single image for reconstruction, we project it into multiple sparse anchor views and reformulate the reconstruction task as multi-view stereo matching, which allows us to leverage robust geometric priors learned from large-scale multi-view datasets. A bidirectional feature fusion module is used to enforce cross-view consistency, yielding an efficient and geometrically reliable scaffold. Finally, the scaffold serves as a strong prior for a novel view generator to produce photorealistic and geometrically accurate views at arbitrary cameras. By explicitly conditioning on a 3D-consistent scaffold to perform reconstruction, One2Scene works stably under large camera motions, supporting immersive scene exploration. Extensive experiments show that One2Scene substantially outperforms state-of-the-art methods in panorama depth estimation, feed-forward 360° reconstruction, and explorable 3D scene generation. GeoWorld: Providing Full-frame Geometry Features to Facilitate 3D Scene Generation
Previous works that leverage video models for image-to-3D scene generation often suffer from geometric distortions and blurry content. Using video generation models to implicitly maintain geometric consistency according to a single-frame input is ineffective. In this paper, we present a two-stage method, named , that renovates the image-to-3D scene generation pipeline by providing full-frame geometry features. The first-stage video generation model, followed by a multi-view geometry model, produces geometry features, which are then used as a mental draft of geometric conditions to aid the second-stage video-generation model. A geometric loss is proposed to impose real-world geometric constraints, and a geometry adaptation module is introduced to ensure the effective utilization of geometry features. Thanks to full-frame geometric modeling, the two smaller video models in our two-stage method can generate higher-fidelity 3D scenes than SOTA methods, while being even faster, e.g. 7.5 faster than Hunyuan-Voyager. Skyfall-GS: Synthesizing Immersive 3D Urban Scenes from Satellite Imagery
Synthesizing large-scale, explorable, and geometrically accurate 3D urban scenes is a challenging yet valuable task for immersive and embodied applications. The challenge lies in the lack of large-scale and high-quality real-world 3D scans for training generalizable generative models. In this paper, we take an alternative route to create large-scale 3D scenes by leveraging readily available satellite imagery for realistic coarse geometry and open-domain diffusion models for high-quality close-up appearance synthesis. We propose Skyfall-GS, a novel hybrid framework that synthesizes immersive city-block scale 3D urban scenes by combining satellite reconstruction with diffusion refinement, eliminating the need for costly 3D annotations, and also featuring real-time, immersive 3D exploration. We tailor a curriculum-driven iterative refinement strategy to progressively enhance geometric completeness and photorealistic texture. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Skyfall-GS provides improved cross-view consistent geometry and more realistic textures compared to state-of-the-art approaches.
