Overview

3D diffusion models learn distributions over three-dimensional objects and environments, enabling new content generation, completion of partial observations, and editing of existing geometry. They diffuse over voxels, point clouds, meshes, Gaussian primitives, or compact latent tokens, using denoising networks, diffusion transformers, and flow-matching methods, often conditioned on text, images, sketches, measurements, or spatial layouts. Applications span object benchmarks such as ShapeNet and Objaverse, driving scenes and LiDAR, medical MRI and CT, CAD, and molecular structures. A central challenge is scaling to detailed, large scenes while preserving topology, physical plausibility, and consistency across views; compact latents and coarse-to-fine generation help, but trade-offs in fidelity, control, data, and inference cost remain.

Generative Shape Reconstruction with Geometry-Guided Langevin Dynamics

Reconstructing complete 3D shapes from incomplete or noisy observations is a fundamentally ill-posed problem that requires balancing measurement consistency with shape plausibility. Existing methods for shape reconstruction can achieve strong geometric fidelity in ideal conditions but fail under realistic conditions with incomplete measurements or noise. At the same time, recent generative models for 3D shapes can synthesize highly realistic and detailed shapes but fail to be consistent with observed measurements. In this work, we introduce GG-Langevin: Geometry-Guided Langevin dynamics, a probabilistic approach that unifies these complementary perspectives. By traversing the trajectories of Langevin dynamics induced by a diffusion model, while preserving measurement consistency at every step, we generatively reconstruct shapes that fit both the measurements and the data-informed prior. We demonstrate through extensive experiments that GG-Langevin achieves higher geometric accuracy and greater robustness to missing data than existing methods for surface reconstruction.

From Synthetic Data to Real Restorations: Diffusion Model for Patient-specific Dental Crown Completion

We present ToothCraft, a diffusion-based model for the contextual generation of tooth crowns, trained on artificially created incomplete teeth. Building upon recent advancements in conditioned diffusion models for 3D shapes, we developed a model capable of an automated tooth crown completion conditioned on local anatomical context. To address the lack of training data for this task, we designed an augmentation pipeline that generates incomplete tooth geometries from a publicly available dataset of complete dental arches (3DS, ODD). By synthesising a diverse set of training examples, our approach enables robust learning across a wide spectrum of tooth defects. Experimental results demonstrate the strong capability of our model to reconstruct complete tooth crowns, achieving an intersection over union (IoU) of 81.8% and a Chamfer Distance (CD) of 0.00034 on synthetically damaged testing restorations. Our experiments demonstrate that the model can be applied directly to real-world cases, effectively filling in incomplete teeth, while generated crowns show minimal intersection with the opposing dentition, thus reducing the risk of occlusal interference. VolDiT: Controllable Volumetric Medical Image Synthesis with Diffusion Transformers

Diffusion models have become a leading approach for high-fidelity medical image synthesis. However, most existing methods for 3D medical image generation rely on convolutional U-Net backbones within latent diffusion frameworks. While effective, these architectures impose strong locality biases and limited receptive fields, which may constrain scalability, global context integration, and flexible conditioning. In this work, we introduce VolDiT, the first purely transformer-based 3D Diffusion Transformer for volumetric medical image synthesis. Our approach extends diffusion transformers to native 3D data through volumetric patch embeddings and global self-attention operating directly over 3D tokens. To enable structured control, we propose a timestep-gated control adapter that maps segmentation masks into learnable control tokens that modulate transformer layers during denoising. This token-level conditioning mechanism allows precise spatial guidance while preserving the modeling advantages of transformer architectures. We evaluate our model on high-resolution 3D medical image synthesis tasks and compare it to state-of-the-art 3D latent diffusion models based on U-Nets. Results demonstrate improved global coherence, superior generative fidelity, and enhanced controllability. Our findings suggest that fully transformerbased diffusion models provide a flexible foundation for volumetric medical image synthesis. The code and models trained on public data are available at https://github.com/Cardio-AI/voldit.

3D-LLDM: Label-Guided 3D Latent Diffusion Model for Improving High-Resolution Synthetic MR Imaging in Hepatic Structure Segmentation

Deep learning and generative models are advancing rapidly, with synthetic data increasingly being integrated into training pipelines for downstream analysis tasks. However, in medical imaging, their adoption remains constrained by the scarcity of reliable annotated datasets. To address this limitation, we propose 3D-LLDM, a label-guided 3D latent diffusion model that generates high-quality synthetic magnetic resonance (MR) volumes with corresponding anatomical segmentation masks. Our approach uses hepatobiliary phase MR images enhanced with the Gd-EOB-DTPA contrast agent to derive structural masks for the liver, portal vein, hepatic vein, and hepatocellular carcinoma, which then guide volumetric synthesis through a ControlNet-based architecture. Trained on 720 real clinical hepatobiliary phase MR scans from Samsung Medical Center, 3D-LLDM achieves a Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) of 28.31, improving over GANs by 70.9% and over state-of-the-art diffusion baselines by 26.7%. When used for data augmentation, the synthetic volumes improve hepatocellular carcinoma segmentation by up to 11.153% Dice score across five CNN architectures.

AeroScene: Progressive Scene Synthesis for Aerial Robotics

Generative models have shown substantial impact across multiple domains, their potential for scene synthesis remains underexplored in robotics. This gap is more evident in drone simulators, where simulation environments still rely heavily on manual efforts, which are time-consuming to create and difficult to scale. In this work, we introduce AeroScene, a hierarchical diffusion model for progressive 3D scene synthesis. Our approach leverages hierarchy-aware tokenization and multi-branch feature extraction to reason across both global layouts and local details, ensuring physical plausibility and semantic consistency. This makes AeroScene particularly suited for generating realistic scenes for aerial robotics tasks such as navigation, landing, and perching. We demonstrate its effectiveness through extensive experiments on our newly collected dataset and a public benchmark, showing that AeroScene significantly outperforms prior methods. Furthermore, we use AeroScene to generate a large-scale dataset of over 1,000 physics-ready, high fidelity 3D scenes that can be directly integrated into NVIDIA Isaac Sim. Finally, we illustrate the utility of these generated environments on downstream drone navigation tasks. Our code and dataset are publicly available at aioz-ai.github.io/AeroScene/

Know3D: Prompting 3D Generation with Knowledge from Vision-Language Models

Recent advances in 3D generation have improved the fidelity and geometric details of synthesized 3D assets. However, due to the inherent ambiguity of single-view observations and the lack of robust global structural priors caused by limited 3D training data, the unseen regions generated by existing models are often stochastic and difficult to control, which may sometimes fail to align with user intentions or produce implausible geometries. In this paper, we propose Know3D, a novel framework that incorporates rich knowledge from multimodal large language models into 3D generative processes via latent hidden-state injection, enabling language-controllable generation of the back-view for 3D assets. We utilize a VLM-diffusion-based model, where the VLM is responsible for semantic understanding and guidance. The diffusion model acts as a bridge that transfers semantic knowledge from the VLM to the 3D generation model. In this way, we successfully bridge the gap between abstract textual instructions and the geometric reconstruction of unobserved regions, transforming the traditionally stochastic back-view hallucination into a semantically controllable process, demonstrating a promising direction for future 3D generation models.

Sketch2CT: Multimodal Diffusion for Structure-Aware 3D Medical Volume Generation

Diffusion probabilistic models have demonstrated significant potential in generating high-quality, realistic medical images, providing a promising solution to the persistent challenge of data scarcity in the medical field. Nevertheless, producing 3D medical volumes with anatomically consistent structures under multimodal conditions remains a complex and unresolved problem. We introduce Sketch2CT, a multimodal diffusion framework for structure-aware 3D medical volume generation, jointly guided by a user-provided 2D sketch and a textual description that captures 3D geometric semantics. The framework initially generates 3D segmentation masks of the target organ from random noise, conditioned on both modalities. To effectively align and fuse these inputs, we propose two key modules that refine sketch features with localized textual cues and integrate global sketch-text representations. Built upon a capsule-attention backbone, these modules leverage the complementary strengths of sketches and text to produce anatomically accurate organ shapes. The synthesized segmentation masks subsequently guide a latent diffusion model for 3D CT volume synthesis, enabling realistic reconstruction of organ appearances that are consistent with user-defined sketches and descriptions. Extensive experiments on public CT datasets demonstrate that Sketch2CT achieves superior performance in generating multimodal medical volumes. Its controllable, low-cost generation pipeline enables principled, efficient augmentation of medical datasets. Code is available at https://github.com/adlsn/Sketch2CT.

Physics-Aware Diffusion for LiDAR Point Cloud Densification

LiDAR perception is severely limited by the distance-dependent sparsity of distant objects. While diffusion models can recover dense geometry, they suffer from prohibitive latency and physical hallucinations manifesting as ghost points. We propose Scanline-Consistent Range-Aware Diffusion, a framework that treats densification as probabilistic refinement rather than generation. By leveraging Partial Diffusion (SDEdit) on a coarse prior, we achieve high-fidelity results in just 156ms. Our novel Ray-Consistency loss and Negative Ray Augmentation enforce sensor physics to suppress artifacts. Our method achieves state-of-the-art results on KITTI-360 and nuScenes, directly boosting off-the-shelf 3D detectors without retraining. Code will be made available.

GeoFusion-CAD: Structure-Aware Diffusion with Geometric State Space for Parametric 3D Design

Parametric Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is fundamental to modern 3D modeling, yet existing methods struggle to generate long command sequences, especially under complex geometric and topological dependencies. Transformer-based architectures dominate CAD sequence generation due to their strong dependency modeling, but their quadratic attention cost and limited context windowing hinder scalability to long programs. We propose GeoFusion-CAD, an end-to-end diffusion framework for scalable and structure-aware generation. Our proposal encodes CAD programs as hierarchical trees, jointly capturing geometry and topology within a state-space diffusion process. Specifically, a lightweight C-Mamba block models long-range structural dependencies through selective state transitions, enabling coherent generation across extended command sequences. To support long-sequence evaluation, we introduce DeepCAD-240, an extended benchmark that increases the sequence length ranging from 40 to 240 while preserving sketch-extrusion semantics from the ABC dataset. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GeoFusion-CAD achieves superior performance on both short and long command ranges, maintaining high geometric fidelity and topological consistency where Transformer-based models degrade. Our approach sets new state-of-the-art scores for long-sequence parametric CAD generation, establishing a scalable foundation for next-generation CAD modeling systems. From Part to Whole: 3D Generative World Model with an Adaptive Structural Hierarchy

Single-image 3D generation lies at the core of vision-to-graphics models in the real world. However, it remains a fundamental challenge to achieve reliable generalization across diverse semantic categories and highly variable structural complexity under sparse supervision. Existing approaches typically model objects in a monolithic manner or rely on a fixed number of parts, including recent part-aware models such as PartCrafter, which still require a labor-intensive user-specified part count. Such designs easily lead to overfitting, fragmented or missing structural components, and limited compositional generalization when encountering novel object layouts. To this end, this paper rethinks single-image 3D generation as learning an adaptive part-whole hierarchy in the flexible 3D latent space. We present a novel part-to-whole 3D generative world model that autonomously discovers latent structural slots by inferring soft and compositional masks directly from image tokens. Specifically, an adaptive slot-gating mechanism dynamically determines the slot-wise activation probabilities and smoothly consolidates redundant slots within different objects, ensuring that the emergent structure remains compact yet expressive across categories. Each distilled slot is then aligned to a learnable, class-agnostic prototype bank, enabling powerful cross-category shape sharing and denoising through universal geometric prototypes in the real world. Furthermore, a lightweight 3D denoiser is introduced to reconstruct geometry and appearance via unified diffusion objectives. Experiments show consistent gains in cross-category transfer and part-count extrapolation, and ablations confirm complementary benefits of the prototype bank for shape-prior sharing as well as slot-gating for structural adaptation.

Points-to-3D: Structure-Aware 3D Generation with Point Cloud Priors

Recent progress in 3D generation has been driven largely by models conditioned on images or text, while readily available 3D priors are still underused. In many real-world scenarios, the visible-region point cloud are easy to obtain from active sensors such as LiDAR or from feed-forward predictors like VGGT, offering explicit geometric constraints that current methods fail to exploit. In this work, we introduce Points-to-3D, a diffusion-based framework that leverages point cloud priors for geometry-controllable 3D asset and scene generation. Built on a latent 3D diffusion model TRELLIS, Points-to-3D first replaces pure-noise sparse structure latent initialization with a point cloud priors tailored input formulation.A structure inpainting network, trained within the TRELLIS framework on task-specific data designed to learn global structural inpainting, is then used for inference with a staged sampling strategy (structural inpainting followed by boundary refinement), completing the global geometry while preserving the visible regions of the input priors. In practice, Points-to-3D can take either accurate point-cloud priors or VGGT-estimated point clouds from single images as input. Experiments on both objects and scene scenarios consistently demonstrate superior performance over state-of-the-art baselines in terms of rendering quality and geometric fidelity, highlighting the effectiveness of explicitly embedding point-cloud priors for achieving more accurate and structurally controllable 3D generation. Omni-3DEdit: Generalized Versatile 3D Editing in One-Pass

Most instruction-driven 3D editing methods rely on 2D models to guide the explicit and iterative optimization of 3D representations. This paradigm, however, suffers from two primary drawbacks. First, it lacks a universal design of different 3D editing tasks because the explicit manipulation of 3D geometry necessitates task-dependent rules, e.g., 3D appearance editing demands inherent source 3D geometry, while 3D removal alters source geometry. Second, the iterative optimization process is highly time-consuming, often requiring thousands of invocations of 2D/3D updating. We present Omni-3DEdit, a unified, learning-based model that generalizes various 3D editing tasks implicitly. One key challenge to achieve our goal is the scarcity of paired source-edited multi-view assets for training. To address this issue, we construct a data pipeline, synthesizing a relatively rich number of high-quality paired multi-view editing samples. Subsequently, we adapt the pre-trained generative model SEVA as our backbone by concatenating source view latents along with conditional tokens in sequence space. A dual-stream LoRA module is proposed to disentangle different view cues, largely enhancing our model's representational learning capability. As a learning-based model, our model is free of the time-consuming online optimization, and it can complete various 3D editing tasks in one forward pass, reducing the inference time from tens of minutes to approximately two minutes. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of Omni-3DEdit.

OneWorld: Taming Scene Generation with 3D Unified Representation Autoencoder

Existing diffusion-based 3D scene generation methods primarily operate in 2D image/video latent spaces, which makes maintaining cross-view appearance and geometric consistency inherently challenging. To bridge this gap, we present OneWorld, a framework that performs diffusion directly within a coherent 3D representation space. Central to our approach is the 3D Unified Representation Autoencoder (3D-URAE); it leverages pretrained 3D foundation models and augments their geometry-centric nature by injecting appearance and distilling semantics into a unified 3D latent space. Furthermore, we introduce token-level Cross-View-Correspondence (CVC) consistency loss to explicitly enforce structural alignment across views, and propose Manifold-Drift Forcing (MDF) to mitigate train-inference exposure bias and shape a robust 3D manifold by mixing drifted and original representations. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that OneWorld generates high-quality 3D scenes with superior cross-view consistency compared to state-of-the-art 2D-based methods. Our code will be available at https://github.com/SensenGao/OneWorld.

MV-SAM3D: Adaptive Multi-View Fusion for Layout-Aware 3D Generation

Recent unified 3D generation models have made remarkable progress in producing high-quality 3D assets from a single image. Notably, layout-aware approaches such as SAM3D can reconstruct multiple objects while preserving their spatial arrangement, opening the door to practical scene-level 3D generation. However, current methods are limited to single-view input and cannot leverage complementary multi-view observations, while independently estimated object poses often lead to physically implausible layouts such as interpenetration and floating artifacts. We present MV-SAM3D, a training-free framework that extends layout-aware 3D generation with multi-view consistency and physical plausibility. We formulate multi-view fusion as a Multi-Diffusion process in 3D latent space and propose two adaptive weighting strategies -- attention-entropy weighting and visibility weighting -- that enable confidence-aware fusion, ensuring each viewpoint contributes according to its local observation reliability. For multi-object composition, we introduce physics-aware optimization that injects collision and contact constraints both during and after generation, yielding physically plausible object arrangements. Experiments on standard benchmarks and real-world multi-object scenes demonstrate significant improvements in reconstruction fidelity and layout plausibility, all without any additional training. Code is available at https://github.com/devinli123/MV-SAM3D.

Equivariant Asynchronous Diffusion: An Adaptive Denoising Schedule for Accelerated Molecular Conformation Generation

Recent 3D molecular generation methods primarily use asynchronous auto-regressive or synchronous diffusion models. While auto-regressive models build molecules sequentially, they're limited by a short horizon and a discrepancy between training and inference. Conversely, synchronous diffusion models denoise all atoms at once, offering a molecule-level horizon but failing to capture the causal relationships inherent in hierarchical molecular structures. We introduce Equivariant Asynchronous Diffusion (EAD) to overcome these limitations. EAD is a novel diffusion model that combines the strengths of both approaches: it uses an asynchronous denoising schedule to better capture molecular hierarchy while maintaining a molecule-level horizon. Since these relationships are often complex, we propose a dynamic scheduling mechanism to adaptively determine the denoising timestep. Experimental results show that EAD achieves state-of-the-art performance in 3D molecular generation.

VesselFusion: Diffusion Models for Vessel Centerline Extraction from 3D CT Images

Vessel centerline extraction from 3D CT images is an important task because it reduces annotation effort to build a model that estimates a vessel structure. It is challenging to estimate natural vessel structures since conventional approaches are deterministic models, which cannot capture a complex human structure. In this study, we propose VesselFusion, which is a diffusion model to extract the vessel centerline from 3D CT image. The proposed method uses a coarse-to-fine representation of the centerline and a voting-based aggregation for a natural and stable extraction. VesselFusion was evaluated on a publicly available CT image dataset and achieved higher extraction accuracy and a more natural result than conventional approaches.

Optimizing 3D Diffusion Models for Medical Imaging via Multi-Scale Reward Learning

Diffusion models have emerged as powerful tools for 3D medical image generation, yet bridging the gap between standard training objectives and clinical relevance remains a challenge. This paper presents a method to enhance 3D diffusion models using Reinforcement Learning (RL) with multi-scale feedback. We first pretrain a 3D diffusion model on MRI volumes to establish a robust generative prior. Subsequently, we fine-tune the model using Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO), guided by a novel reward system that integrates both 2D slice-wise assessments and 3D volumetric analysis. This combination allows the model to simultaneously optimize for local texture details and global structural coherence. We validate our framework on the BraTS 2019 and OASIS-1 datasets. Our results indicate that incorporating RL feedback effectively steers the generation process toward higher quality distributions. Quantitative analysis reveals significant improvements in Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) and, crucially, the synthetic data demonstrates enhanced utility in downstream tumor and disease classification tasks compared to non-optimized baselines.

Latent Diffusion-Based 3D Molecular Recovery from Vibrational Spectra

Infrared (IR) spectroscopy, a type of vibrational spectroscopy, is widely used for molecular structure determination and provides critical structural information for chemists. However, existing approaches for recovering molecular structures from IR spectra typically rely on one-dimensional SMILES strings or two-dimensional molecular graphs, which fail to capture the intricate relationship between spectral features and three-dimensional molecular geometry. Recent advances in diffusion models have greatly enhanced the ability to generate molecular structures in 3D space. Yet, no existing model has explored the distribution of 3D molecular geometries corresponding to a single IR spectrum. In this work, we introduce IR-GeoDiff, a latent diffusion model that recovers 3D molecular geometries from IR spectra by integrating spectral information into both node and edge representations of molecular structures. We evaluate IR-GeoDiff from both spectral and structural perspectives, demonstrating its ability to recover the molecular distribution corresponding to a given IR spectrum. Furthermore, an attention-based analysis reveals that the model is able to focus on characteristic functional group regions in IR spectra, qualitatively consistent with common chemical interpretation practices.

Cog2Gen3D: Sculpturing 3D Semantic-Geometric Cognition for 3D Generation

Generative models have achieved success in producing semantically plausible 2D images, but it remains challenging in 3D generation due to the absence of spatial geometry constraints. Typically, existing methods utilize geometric features as conditions to enhance spatial awareness. However, these methods can only model relative relationships and are prone to scale inconsistency of absolute geometry. Thus, we argue that semantic information and absolute geometry empower 3D cognition, thereby enabling controllable 3D generation for the physical world. In this work, we propose Cog2Gen3D, a 3D cognition-guided diffusion framework for 3D generation. Our model is guided by three key designs: 1) Cognitive Feature Embeddings. We encode different modalities into semantic and geometric representations and further extract logical representations. 2) 3D Latent Cognition Graph. We structure different representations into dual-stream semantic-geometric graphs and fuse them via common-based cross-attention to obtain a 3D cognition graph. 3) Cognition-Guided Latent Diffusion. We leverage the fused 3D cognition graph as the condition to guide the latent diffusion process for 3D Gaussian generation. Under this unified framework, the 3D cognition graph ensures the physical plausibility and structural rationality of 3D generation. Moreover, we construct a validation subset based on the Marble World Labs. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our Cog2Gen3D significantly outperforms existing methods in both semantic fidelity and geometric plausibility.

Dual Diffusion Models for Multi-modal Guided 3D Avatar Generation

Generating high-fidelity 3D avatars from text or image prompts is highly sought after in virtual reality and human-computer interaction. However, existing text-driven methods often rely on iterative Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) or CLIP optimization, which struggle with fine-grained semantic control and suffer from excessively slow inference. Meanwhile, image-driven approaches are severely bottlenecked by the scarcity and high acquisition cost of high-quality 3D facial scans, limiting model generalization. To address these challenges, we first construct a novel, large-scale dataset comprising over 100,000 pairs across four modalities: fine-grained textual descriptions, in-the-wild face images, high-quality light-normalized texture UV maps, and 3D geometric shapes. Leveraging this comprehensive dataset, we propose PromptAvatar, a framework featuring dual diffusion models. Specifically, it integrates a Texture Diffusion Model (TDM) that supports flexible multi-condition guidance from text and/or image prompts, alongside a Geometry Diffusion Model (GDM) guided by text prompts. By learning the direct mapping from multi-modal prompts to 3D representations, PromptAvatar eliminates the need for time-consuming iterative optimization, successfully generating high-fidelity, shading-free 3D avatars in under 10 seconds. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms existing state-of-the-art approaches in generation quality, fine-grained detail alignment, and computational efficiency.

DM-CFO: A Diffusion Model for Compositional 3D Tooth Generation with Collision-Free Optimization

The automatic design of a 3D tooth model plays a crucial role in dental digitization. However, current approaches face challenges in compositional 3D tooth generation because both the layouts and shapes of missing teeth need to be optimized. In addition, collision conflicts are often omitted in 3D Gaussian-based compositional 3D generation, where objects may intersect with each other due to the absence of explicit geometric information on the object surfaces. Motivated by graph generation through diffusion models and collision detection using 3D Gaussians, we propose an approach named DM-CFO for compositional tooth generation, where the layout of missing teeth is progressively restored during the denoising phase under both text and graph constraints. Then, the Gaussian parameters of each layout-guided tooth and the entire jaw are alternately updated using score distillation sampling (SDS). Furthermore, a regularization term based on the distances between the 3D Gaussians of neighboring teeth and the anchor tooth is introduced to penalize tooth intersections. Experimental results on three tooth-design datasets demonstrate that our approach significantly improves the multiview consistency and realism of the generated teeth compared with existing methods. TIMI: Training-Free Image-to-3D Multi-Instance Generation with Spatial Fidelity

Precise spatial fidelity in Image-to-3D multi-instance generation is critical for downstream real-world applications. Recent work attempts to address this by fine-tuning pre-trained Image-to-3D (I23D) models on multi-instance datasets, which incurs substantial training overhead and struggles to guarantee spatial fidelity. In fact, we observe that pre-trained I23D models already possess meaningful spatial priors, which remain underutilized as evidenced by instance entanglement issues. Motivated by this, we propose TIMI, a novel Training-free framework for Image-to-3D Multi-Instance generation that achieves high spatial fidelity. Specifically, we first introduce an Instance-aware Separation Guidance (ISG) module, which facilitates instance disentanglement during the early denoising stage. Next, to stabilize the guidance introduced by ISG, we devise a Spatial-stabilized Geometry-adaptive Update (SGU) module that promotes the preservation of the geometric characteristics of instances while maintaining their relative relationships. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method yields better performance in terms of both global layout and distinct local instances compared to existing multi-instance methods, without requiring additional training and with faster inference speed.

Spatio-Temporal Garment Reconstruction Using Diffusion Mapping via Pattern Coordinates

Reconstructing 3D clothed humans from monocular images and videos is a fundamental problem with applications in virtual try-on, avatar creation, and mixed reality. Despite significant progress in human body recovery, accurately reconstructing garment geometry, particularly for loose-fitting clothing, remains an open challenge. We propose a unified framework for high-fidelity 3D garment reconstruction from both single images and video sequences. Our approach combines Implicit Sewing Patterns (ISP) with a generative diffusion model to learn expressive garment shape priors in 2D UV space. Leveraging these priors, we introduce a mapping model that establishes correspondences between image pixels, UV pattern coordinates, and 3D geometry, enabling accurate and detailed garment reconstruction from single images. We further extend this formulation to dynamic reconstruction by introducing a spatio-temporal diffusion scheme with test-time guidance to enforce long-range temporal consistency. We also develop analytic projection-based constraints that preserve image-aligned geometry in visible regions while enforcing coherent completion in occluded areas over time. Although trained exclusively on synthetically simulated cloth data, our method generalizes well to real-world imagery and consistently outperforms existing approaches on both tight- and loose-fitting garments. The reconstructed garments preserve fine geometric detail while exhibiting realistic dynamic motion, supporting downstream applications such as texture editing, garment retargeting, and animation.

SceneTransporter: Optimal Transport-Guided Compositional Latent Diffusion for Single-Image Structured 3D Scene Generation

We introduce SceneTransporter, an end-to-end framework for structured 3D scene generation from a single image. While existing methods generate part-level 3D objects, they often fail to organize these parts into distinct instances in open-world scenes. Through a debiased clustering probe, we reveal a critical insight: this failure stems from the lack of structural constraints within the model's internal assignment mechanism. Based on this finding, we reframe the task of structured 3D scene generation as a global correlation assignment problem. To solve this, SceneTransporter formulates and solves an entropic Optimal Transport (OT) objective within the denoising loop of the compositional DiT model. This formulation imposes two powerful structural constraints. First, the resulting transport plan gates cross-attention to enforce an exclusive, one-to-one routing of image patches to part-level 3D latents, preventing entanglement. Second, the competitive nature of the transport encourages the grouping of similar patches, a process that is further regularized by an edge-based cost, to form coherent objects and prevent fragmentation. Extensive experiments show that SceneTransporter outperforms existing methods on open-world scene generation, significantly improving instance-level coherence and geometric fidelity. Code and models will be publicly available at https://2019epwl.github.io/SceneTransporter/.

Vinedresser3D: Agentic Text-guided 3D Editing

Text-guided 3D editing aims to modify existing 3D assets using natural-language instructions. Current methods struggle to jointly understand complex prompts, automatically localize edits in 3D, and preserve unedited content. We introduce Vinedresser3D, an agentic framework for high-quality text-guided 3D editing that operates directly in the latent space of a native 3D generative model. Given a 3D asset and an editing prompt, Vinedresser3D uses a multimodal large language model to infer rich descriptions of the original asset, identify the edit region and edit type (addition, modification, deletion), and generate decomposed structural and appearance-level text guidance. The agent then selects an informative view and applies an image editing model to obtain visual guidance. Finally, an inversion-based rectified-flow inpainting pipeline with an interleaved sampling module performs editing in the 3D latent space, enforcing prompt alignment while maintaining 3D coherence and unedited regions. Experiments on diverse 3D edits demonstrate that Vinedresser3D outperforms prior baselines in both automatic metrics and human preference studies, while enabling precise, coherent, and mask-free 3D editing.

L3DR: 3D-aware LiDAR Diffusion and Rectification

Range-view (RV) based LiDAR diffusion has recently made huge strides towards 2D photo-realism. However, it neglects 3D geometry realism and often generates various RV artifacts such as depth bleeding and wavy surfaces. We design L3DR, a 3D-aware LiDAR Diffusion and Rectification framework that can regress and cancel RV artifacts in 3D space and restore local geometry accurately. Our theoretical and empirical analysis reveals that 3D models are inherently superior to 2D models in generating sharp and authentic boundaries. Leveraging such analysis, we design a 3D residual regression network that rectifies RV artifacts and achieves superb geometry realism by predicting point-level offsets in 3D space. On top of that, we design a Welsch Loss that helps focus on local geometry and ignore anomalous regions effectively. Extensive experiments over multiple benchmarks including KITTI, KITTI360, nuScenes and Waymo show that the proposed L3DR achieves state-of-the-art generation and superior geometry-realism consistently. In addition, L3DR is generally applicable to different LiDAR diffusion models with little computational overhead.

SceneTok: A Compressed, Diffusable Token Space for 3D Scenes

We present SceneTok, a novel tokenizer for encoding view sets of scenes into a compressed and diffusable set of unstructured tokens. Existing approaches for 3D scene representation and generation commonly use 3D data structures or view-aligned fields. In contrast, we introduce the first method that encodes scene information into a small set of permutation-invariant tokens that is disentangled from the spatial grid. The scene tokens are predicted by a multi-view tokenizer given many context views and rendered into novel views by employing a light-weight rectified flow decoder. We show that the compression is 1-3 orders of magnitude stronger than for other representations while still reaching state-of-the-art reconstruction quality. Further, our representation can be rendered from novel trajectories, including ones deviating from the input trajectory, and we show that the decoder gracefully handles uncertainty. Finally, the highly-compressed set of unstructured latent scene tokens enables simple and efficient scene generation in 5 seconds, achieving a much better quality-speed trade-off than previous paradigms.

PartRAG: Retrieval-Augmented Part-Level 3D Generation and Editing

Single-image 3D generation with part-level structure remains challenging: learned priors struggle to cover the long tail of part geometries and maintain multi-view consistency, and existing systems provide limited support for precise, localized edits. We present PartRAG, a retrieval-augmented framework that integrates an external part database with a diffusion transformer to couple generation with an editable representation. To overcome the first challenge, we introduce a Hierarchical Contrastive Retrieval module that aligns dense image patches with 3D part latents at both part and object granularity, retrieving from a curated bank of 1,236 part-annotated assets to inject diverse, physically plausible exemplars into denoising. To overcome the second challenge, we add a masked, part-level editor that operates in a shared canonical space, enabling swaps, attribute refinements, and compositional updates without regenerating the whole object while preserving non-target parts and multi-view consistency. PartRAG achieves competitive results on Objaverse, ShapeNet, and ABO-reducing Chamfer Distance from 0.1726 to 0.1528 and raising F-Score from 0.7472 to 0.844 on Objaverse-with inference of 38s and interactive edits in 5-8s. Qualitatively, PartRAG produces sharper part boundaries, better thin-structure fidelity, and robust behavior on articulated objects. Code: https://github.com/AIGeeksGroup/PartRAG. RIDER: 3D RNA Inverse Design with Reinforcement Learning-Guided Diffusion

The inverse design of RNA three-dimensional (3D) structures is crucial for engineering functional RNAs in synthetic biology and therapeutics. While recent deep learning approaches have advanced this field, they are typically optimized and evaluated using native sequence recovery, which is a limited surrogate for structural fidelity, since different sequences can fold into similar 3D structures and high recovery does not necessarily indicate correct folding. To address this limitation, we propose RIDER, an RNA Inverse DEsign framework with Reinforcement learning that directly optimizes for 3D structural similarity. First, we develop and pre-train a GNN-based generative diffusion model conditioned on the target 3D structure, achieving a 9% improvement in native sequence recovery over state-of-the-art methods. Then, we fine-tune the model with an improved policy gradient algorithm using four task-specific reward functions based on 3D self-consistency metrics. Experimental results show that RIDER improves structural similarity by over 100% across all metrics and discovers designs that are distinct from native sequences.

VecSet-Edit: Unleashing Pre-trained LRM for Mesh Editing from Single Image

3D editing has emerged as a critical research area to provide users with flexible control over 3D assets. While current editing approaches predominantly focus on 3D Gaussian Splatting or multi-view images, the direct editing of 3D meshes remains underexplored. Prior attempts, such as VoxHammer, rely on voxel-based representations that suffer from limited resolution and necessitate labor-intensive 3D mask. To address these limitations, we propose VecSet-Edit, the first pipeline that leverages the high-fidelity VecSet Large Reconstruction Model (LRM) as a backbone for mesh editing. Our approach is grounded on a analysis of the spatial properties in VecSet tokens, revealing that token subsets govern distinct geometric regions. Based on this insight, we introduce Mask-guided Token Seeding and Attention-aligned Token Gating strategies to precisely localize target regions using only 2D image conditions. Also, considering the difference between VecSet diffusion process versus voxel we design a Drift-aware Token Pruning to reject geometric outliers during the denoising process. Finally, our Detail-preserving Texture Baking module ensures that we not only preserve the geometric details of original mesh but also the textural information.
