EmbodiedSmith: Scaling Embodied Data through Recursive Self-Improvement Flywheel in Simulation

Scaling robotic foundation models requires diverse training data and reliable evaluation environments. Simulation offers a scalable solution, yet existing generation pipelines remain constrained by predefined assets and skills, a disconnect between scene generation and task generation, and limited support for complex embodiments and physics. We introduce EmbodiedSmith, a framework for scalable embodied data generation through recursive self-improvement (RSI). EmbodiedSmith unifies asset, scene, and task generation in a pipeline that supports autonomous creation and language-driven customization. Its core is an agentic refinement loop: scene generation anticipates downstream task requirements, while task generation guides targeted scene edits, allowing scenes and tasks to iteratively improve one another. This joint refinement improves task generation success, including for long-horizon tasks. The framework further supports mobile manipulators, humanoids, and dexterous hands, as well as interactions involving deformable objects and fluids, broadening the range of behaviors and physical phenomena represented in generated data. Together, these capabilities provide a flexible simulation engine for both robot pretraining and evaluation. Extensive experiments validate the quality, diversity, and generation efficiency of the resulting data, while downstream policy experiments demonstrate that increased data diversity improves generalization.

SPHERE: Adaptive VR Indoor Scene Generation via LLM-Enhanced Spatial Preference Learning and Human-in-the-Loop RL

While Large Language Models (LLMs) advance 3D indoor scene synthesis, current pipelines fail to retain user-specific preferences across sessions, making immersive authoring a repetitive and physically fatiguing process. We present SPHERE, an adaptive VR generation framework that transforms isolated synthesis into continuous human-AI co-creation. SPHERE extracts persistent spatial preferences from natural multimodal interactions (speech and controller edits). To ensure geometric resilience against spatial distortions, it abstracts these raw edits into hierarchical constraints modeling both local functional and global topological contexts. Furthermore, a human-in-the-loop reinforcement learning mechanism dynamically updates retrieval policies based on the user's final edited scenes. A mixed-design user study (N=42N=42) and an offline ablation demonstrate that SPHERE significantly reduces corrective edits and physical demand, preventing bias toward shallow object-level traits to yield geometrically resilient, profile-aligned layouts. Ultimately, SPHERE demonstrates how capturing demonstrated spatial logic enables controlled spatial adaptation, establishing a reliable, governed human-AI collaboration framework for immersive authoring. SPOON: Towards Coherent Compositional 3D Scene Generation from Uncalibrated Multi-view Images

Compositional 3D scene generation aims to recover complete 3D object shapes and their spatial arrangement from visual observations. Recent image-conditioned 3D generators provide strong priors for producing high-quality object geometry, making the generation of complex scenes increasingly practical. A central challenge is therefore to spatially organize these generated assets into a globally coherent scene while remaining consistent with multi-view observations. Existing approaches either entangle scene layout with object generation or separately estimate spatial placement from view-specific observations, where pose hypotheses may remain ambiguous and inconsistent across views, often resulting in an incoherent object-camera soup. We introduce SPOON, a framework that reformulates multi-view compositional 3D generation as scene-level, geometry-grounded pose reasoning. Rather than treating view-specific object pose hypotheses independently, SPOON coordinates them using reconstruction-derived multi-view geometry through a Guide-Route-Reconcile paradigm. This progressively organizes object poses and camera configurations into a coherent scene-level spatial arrangement. Extensive experiments on ARSG-110K and MIDI-3D-Front demonstrate consistent improvements in object placement and scene composition across varying numbers of input views. On ARSG-110K, SPOON reduces scene-level and object-level Chamfer distances by 12.7% and 17.7%, respectively, compared with a strong baseline.

ESG: Generating Physically Consistent Dynamic 3D Scenes from Text Descriptions

Recent progress in image and 3D scene generation has enabled increasingly realistic static environments, yet most methods remain confined to such static configurations. Generating dynamic scenes from natural language is fundamentally challenging: it requires joint reasoning over scene structure, temporal evolution, and physical feasibility, while ensuring reliable execution in modern physics engines. We present a unified framework for generating physically consistent dynamic 3D scenes from text, with outputs directly executable in Unreal Engine. Central to our approach is the \emph{Evolutive Scene Graph} (ESG), which specifies entities with physical attributes, spatial relations, and event-driven timelines in a machine-checkable form. Given a prompt, a large language model constructs and validates a complete ESG; spatial layouts are grounded via energy-minimized gradient optimization; timeline-constrained physical parameters are then optimized through differentiable simulation to satisfy user-specified events; and the resulting scene is compiled into an engine-executable class. Experiments on 10 scenes across three complexity levels show that our method achieves 16.4/1816.4/18 mean event completion, outperforming Scene Language, the strongest engine-executable baseline (SimWorld), and our ablation without physical optimization by a clear margin in event completion and parameter accuracy.

ScenePilot: Grow-and-Repair Policy for Text-Driven 3D Indoor Scene Generation

Text-driven 3D indoor scene generation has advanced from dataset-bound layout modeling to open-vocabulary synthesis with large language and vision-language models. Yet existing methods remain limited: one-pass generators often yield geometrically invalid layouts, heavy post-hoc optimization is costly and unstable, and prompt-only planners lack reusable layout priors for functional grouping and object relations. We propose \textbf{ScenePilot}, a retrieval-augmented \textbf{Grow-and-Repair} framework that formulates scene generation as prior-guided incremental growth with learned rectification. Given a prompt, the Hierarchical Retrieval-Augmented Planning (HRAP) module retrieves room-, group-, and anchor-level layout priors to support functional group planning. A text-driven base generator then inserts object groups sequentially, while the Reinforcement Multimodal Repair (RMR) module performs lightweight local correction after each insertion and a final global repair after completion. To train this policy, we construct \textbf{SceneReverse-17k}, a repair-trajectory dataset built by perturbing high-quality 3D scenes in position, rotation, and scale, then using inverse operations as executable rectification targets. The policy predicts structured \emph{move--rotate--scale} actions from rendered views, scene state, retrieved priors, and edit history. By combining HRAP with RMR, ScenePilot offers an efficient alternative to one-shot generation and heavy full-scene optimization, improving physical plausibility, functional coherence, and controllability while preserving diversity.

FuncRoom-Agent: Sequential Feed-Forward 3D Functional Indoor Scene Generation

We introduce Function-Room Generation, a new indoor 3D scene generation setting that creates rooms supporting explicit functional goals rather than merely visually plausible layouts. Existing agentic and executable methods improve controllability, but often depend on costly test-time generate--evaluate--revise loops, making functional room generation slow and computationally expensive. We address this challenge with three technical contributions. First, we design a recursive domain-specific language to effectively organize the hierarchical object compositions required by functional rooms, from room structure and major furniture to dense support-surface and nested small objects. It represents rooms as staged executable programs with explicit geometric and functional relations. Second, we propose a sequential feed-forward scene construction framework that distills recursive construction traces into a scene construction expert. At inference time, the expert writes executable DSL code stage by stage, and a deterministic executor directly instantiates each stage without teacher agents, online critics, or iterative repair. Third, we introduce ScenePRM, an execution-grounded process reward framework that improves the expert through reinforcement learning with functional, geometric, relational, and future-constructability feedback. We further establish a function-oriented benchmark and show state-of-the-art performance on both general indoor scene generation and function-room generation, achieving stronger functional completeness, relation correctness, geometric executability, and generation efficiency.

D3D-GEN: Robot-Aware Domain-Grounded Interactive 3D World Generation for Social Robotics

Training and validation of Embodied AI for social navigation critically depends on realistic simulation environments, yet many current approaches fail to find a balance between realism and simulability. We propose D3D-GEN, a novel world generation system that combines a domain agent with a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline grounded in that domain. Our system enables users to rapidly generate domain-grounded, fully interactive 3D worlds by automating both the collection of domain knowledge and the synthesis of realistic floorplans and object placements, without dependence on any fixed 3D model database. Given a domain description prompt, the research agent collects publicly accessible domain-specific data and constructs a persistent domain database. Using this database, our RAG pipeline generates plausible floorplans and object placements by dynamically querying a user-provided semantic database, which can be easily extended or modified. The output is a fully interactive 3D world loadable by the popular simulators Isaac Sim and Gazebo. With our approach, we have built databases for several common domains (indoor residential, hospital, office) and generated dozens of distinct, plausible simulation environments for each domain. We present D3D-GEN with a local web frontend that facilitates rapid, interactive world generation for robot simulation.

iARCS: Iterative Agentic RL for Controllable 3D Scene Generation

Synthetic 3D scene generation is increasingly used as a data source for computer vision and embodied AI, but existing generators often optimize perceptual realism without reliably satisfying task-critical functional constraints. This mismatch limits the usefulness of synthetic data for downstream training, where accessibility, traversability, and spatial rule compliance are often essential. We present iARCS, an iterative agentic reinforcement learning framework that adapts a pretrained scene generator to naturallanguage task requirements. iARCS uses a two-phase strategy: universal-reward pretraining to improve physical plausibility and layout quality, followed by task-specific finetuning with LLM-generated reward programs that are iteratively refined from training feedback. Experiments show improved constraint fidelity on walkability, reachability, and clearance-focused tasks, effective task-specific constraint optimization, and competitive scene diversity. We further show that data generated by iARCS improves a base generator, supporting its value as a practical synthetic data generation tool rather than only a controllable scene editing method.

WorldClaw: Agentic 3D Open-World Generation at Scale

Generating large-scale, freely explorable 3D worlds from open-ended text remains challenging because a system must jointly maintain global spatial coherence, rich local content, and explicit assets suitable for downstream editing and reuse. We present WorldClaw, a fully agentic, coarse-to-fine framework for open-world 3D scene generation. Planning agents translate a text prompt into a structured specification of regions, terrain, assets, materials, and spatial relations. WorldClaw then builds a globally coherent terrain foundation from semantic layouts, reusable assets, generative or procedural materials, and a region-aware height field. For detail-demanding regions, it generates terrain-conditioned compositions, reconstructs editable textured meshes, and recovers their placement on the terrain; render-based agents further refine terrain, objects, appearance, and contacts. Across diverse open-world prompts, WorldClaw produces large-scale scenes with coherent spatial organization, visually compelling local content, and editable instance-level assets while preserving a consistent global terrain structure.

EmbodiedGen V2: An Agentic, Simulation-Ready 3D World Engine for Embodied AI

We present EmbodiedGen V2, a generative 3D world engine for building executable policy-ready environments for embodied intelligence. Sim-ready 3D asset generation has advanced rapidly, yet assembling such assets into policy-ready task environments remains largely manual, limiting scalable closed-loop learning. EmbodiedGen V2 addresses this gap through a unified sim-ready representation that connects cross-simulator assets, interaction affordances, task-driven worlds, large-scale multi-room scenes, and stateful Vibe Coding into a generative, editable, and reusable simulation pipeline. The generated environments support manipulation, navigation, mobile manipulation, cross-simulator deployment, and embodied policy training. In evaluation, the asset pipeline achieves 96.5% human acceptance and 98.6% collision success, and 83.3% of task-driven worlds are directly usable for downstream simulation without manual modification. Online reinforcement learning with generated environments further improves simulation success from 9.7% to 79.8%, and transfers to real robots with task success increasing from 21.7% to 75.0%. These results establish EmbodiedGen V2 as scalable simulation infrastructure for training, evaluating, and deploying embodied policies.

CP4D: Compositional Physics-aware 4D Scene Generation

4D generation (\textit{i.e.}, dynamic 3D generation) has recently emerged as a rapidly growing research frontier due to its powerful spatiotemporal modeling capabilities. However, despite notable advances, existing approaches typically fail to capture the underlying physical principles, producing results that are both physically inconsistent and visually implausible. To overcome this limitation, we present CP4D, a novel paradigm for photorealistic 4D scene synthesis with faithful adherence to complex physical dynamics. Drawing inspiration from the compositional nature of real-world scenes, where immutable static backgrounds coexist with dynamic, physically plausible foregrounds, CP4D reformulates 4D generation as the integration of a static 3D environment with physically grounded dynamic objects. On this basis, our framework follows a three-stage pipeline: \textbf{1)} Firstly, we leverage pre-trained expert models to generate high-fidelity 3D representations of the environment and foreground objects respectively. \textbf{2)} Subsequently, to produce physically plausible trajectories and realistic interactions for these objects, we propose a hybrid motion synthesis strategy that integrates priors from physical simulators with the common sense embedded in video diffusion models. \textbf{3)} Finally, we develop an automated composition mechanism that seamlessly fuses the static environment and dynamic objects into coherent, physically consistent 4D scenes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CP4D can generate explorable and interactive 4D scenes with high visual fidelity, strong physical plausibility, and fine-grained controllability, significantly outperforming existing methods. PhyScene3D: Physically Consistent Interactive 3D Tabletop Scene Generation

Generating physically consistent 3D tabletop scenes is a fundamental yet underexplored problem for interactive and generalist robotic learning. The challenge stems from dense object hierarchies and irregular affordances. Here, an interactive scene denotes a physically valid, collision-free environment directly loadable into physics simulators. Existing methods, ranging from decoupled symbolic solvers to end-to-end regression models, often suffer from error propagation or overfitting to noisy supervision containing widespread physical violations. To address these limitations, we introduce PhyScene3D, a framework that reformulates generation as a Human-Mimetic Constructive Process. The proposed Cognitive Topological Reasoning Chain (CTRC) factorizes scene synthesis into a sequential, anchor-conditioned process. It employs a 3D AABB-based placement scheme that imposes a strong structural inductive bias. To address imperfect supervision and physical infeasibility, we introduce Physics-Aware Denoising Alignment (PADA). It integrates a differentiable Signed Distance Field (SDF) with Test-Time Optimization (TTO) to project generated scenes onto a physics-feasible manifold while preserving semantic intent. Experiments demonstrate that PhyScene3D outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in both semantic accuracy and physical validity, achieving a 40% reduction in scene-wise collision rate relative to the human-annotated training data.

Function2Scene: 3D Indoor Scene Layout from Functional Specifications

Most text-driven 3D indoor scene synthesis methods generate rooms from object-centric prompts, asking what furniture should be placed rather than how the space is used. Yet in real interior design, a layout is judged by how well it supports its occupants, e.g., their activities and physical needs. We introduce Function2Scene, a framework for generating 3D indoor layouts from functional specifications, i.e., natural-language design briefs describing who will use a room and what they need to do there. Given such a specification, our system parses occupant personas and activities, derives a customized set of functional design constraints from a taxonomy of 17 criteria spanning spatial, ergonomic, activity, and environmental considerations, and uses these constraints to guide layout generation. Rather than relying on an LLM to directly produce a final scene, Function2Scene performs iterative evaluation and refinement through a tool-augmented check-and-repair loop, combining geometric measurements, LLM-based contextual reasoning, and VLM-based visual assessment. Experiments on 30 professionally written interior-design cases show that Function2Scene produces layouts that better satisfy functional requirements than recent LLM-based scene synthesis baselines, with our results preferred in 94.3% of pairwise comparisons. Our work reframes text-driven indoor scene synthesis from placing plausible objects to designing spaces that support human use.

SceneCode: Executable World Programs for Editable Indoor Scenes with Articulated Objects

Indoor scene synthesis underpins embodied AI, robotic manipulation, and simulation-based policy evaluation, where a useful scene must specify not only what the environment looks like, but also how its objects are structured. Existing pipelines, however, typically represent generated content as static meshes and inherit articulation only from curated asset libraries, which limits object-level controllability and prevents new interactable assets from being produced on demand. We address this gap by formulating physically interactable indoor scene synthesis as programmatic world generation, and present SceneCode, a framework that compiles a natural language prompt into an executable, code-driven indoor world rather than a collection of opaque meshes. A room-level agentic backbone first turns the prompt into a structured house layout and emits per-object AssetRequests through a planner--designer--critic loop. Each request is then routed to one of five code-generation strategies and converted into a synthesized part-wise Blender Python programs that are validated through an execution-guided repair-and-refine loop. The resulting programs are compiled into simulation-ready assets, and exported as SDF for physics simulation. A persistent scene-state registry links object requests, executable programs, rendered geometry, and simulation assets, turning scene assembly into a traceable and locally editable world-building process. We evaluate SceneCode across scene-level synthesis, object-level asset quality, human judgment, and downstream robot interaction. Results show that executable world programs improve prompt-faithful indoor scene generation and produce assets with cleaner mesh structure, and simulator-loadable articulation metadata. TelePhysics: Physics-Grounded Multi-Object Scene Generation from a Single Image with Real-Time Interaction

Recent generative video models achieve impressive visual quality but remain constrained by limited physical consistency and controllability. Existing video generation methods provide minimal physical control, and single-image-to-3D conversion approaches often suffer from object interpenetration. Furthermore, physics-based scene-level 3D generation methods exhibit spatial misalignment, stylized artifacts, and inconsistencies with the input data, restricting their use in realistic interactive video synthesis. We propose TelePhysics, a training-free framework that converts a single image into a physically consistent and controllable video through holistic scene-level 3D reconstruction. By representing the full scene geometry in a unified spatial coordinate system, TelePhysics resolves object penetration and alignment ambiguity. Unlike prior methods, this formulation enables accurate scenelevel multi-object interactions and introduces richer, complex control types for advanced mechanicsbased manipulation. By decoupling simulation from rendering, TelePhysics bypasses latency-heavy priors, achieving real-time physical interaction previews paired while preserving photorealistic visual fidelity. Experimental results demonstrate that TelePhysics substantially outperforms prior methods in physical fidelity, spatial coherence, and controllability. PG-3DGS: Optimizing 3D Gaussian Splatting to Satisfy Physics Objectives

Recent advances in Gaussian Splatting have enabled fast, high-fidelity 3D scene generation, yet these methods remain purely visual and lack an understanding of how shapes behave in the physical world. We introduce Physics-Guided 3D Gaussian Splatting (PG-3DGS), a framework that couples differentiable physics simulation with 3D Gaussian representations to generate 3D structures satisfying physics functionalities. By allowing physical objectives to guide the shape optimization process alongside visual losses, our approach produces geometries that are not only photometrically accurate but also physically functional. The model learns to adjust shapes so that the generated objects exhibit physically meaningful behaviors, for example, teapots that can pour and airplanes that can generate lift, without sacrificing visual quality. Experiments on pouring and aerodynamic lift tasks show that PG-3DGS improves physical functionality while preserving visual quality. In addition to simulation gains, bench-top physical lift tests with 3D-printed aircraft (Cessna, B-2 Spirit, and paper plane) under identical airflow conditions show higher scale-measured lift for PG-3DGS, generated structures than an appearance-matching baseline in all three cases. Our unified framework connects appearance-based reconstruction with physics-based reasoning, enabling end-to-end generation of 3D structures that both look realistic and function correctly.

GIF: Agentic Generation of Interactive and Functional Object Compositions for Robot Learning

Robot manipulation foundation models require scalable evaluation and data generation across diverse scenarios, with simulation providing an environment for both. Automated scene generation offers a promising path, yet prior work has largely emphasized coarse-grained scene layouts rather than fine-grained functional object compositions. Motivated by this gap, we present GIF, an agentic Generation framework for Interactive and Functional object compositions. In this framework, we recast this problem as disentangled reconstruction followed by relative pose recovery. CoGen produces instance-disentangled meshes with coarse initial poses leveraging complementary strengths of 2D and 3D generative models. GPRM refines the relative pose under joint geometric and physical guidance, and a VLM verifier selects the candidate that best matches the structured specification. We further construct a benchmark spanning eight representative contact-geometry classes and compare with state-of-the-art generators; GIF improves both asset quality and relation matching, while reducing collision rate to below 1%. Finally, we synthesize data for policy learning, revealing diversity scaling in both simulation and real-world deployment.
