Parametric Face
Parametric face models aim to represent human faces using a set of adjustable parameters, enabling realistic 3D face reconstruction and manipulation. Current research focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of these models, often employing neural radiance fields, Gaussian blendshapes, or adaptive skinning models to capture fine-grained facial details and expressions from monocular video or images. This work is significant for applications in computer graphics, animation, and virtual reality, offering advancements in avatar creation, facial animation, and emotion recognition. The development of more efficient and accurate parametric face models is driving progress in these fields.
