EgoMatrix: Physically Faithful Dexterous Robot Demonstrations from Egocentric Human Videos

Egocentric human videos offer a scalable alternative to robot teleoperation for collecting dexterous manipulation data. However, two challenges limit their use as reliable training data: accurate hand-object interaction (HOI) reconstruction from monocular RGB and high-quality robot demonstrations, especially visual observations. We present EgoMatrix, an end-to-end data engine that converts monocular egocentric human videos into bimanual dexterous trajectories and paired robot observation videos, with the trajectories directly replayable on real robots. It reconstructs HOI with emphasis on relative geometry and contact rather than exact metric scene recovery, then uses retargeting and reinforcement learning (RL) to reproduce the demonstrated tasks in simulation. We jointly render robot hands and objects from these simulated trajectories to produce physically faithful observations synchronized with state and control records. Rendering the same trajectories in diverse, task-compatible backgrounds expands paired training data while preserving robot-object motion and contact. Across TACO, OakInk2, and self-collected data, EgoMatrix achieves 54.84% end-to-end success in simulation versus 14.52% for the strongest baseline. Reconstruction reaches state-of-the-art performance on most metrics of the two public benchmarks. Qualitative results show more faithful hand-object interactions than prior methods, while feature-space analysis shows closer alignment with real-robot observations than GPT-6 Astra. Hand2Robot: Object-Centric 4D Hand Reconstruction from Human Demonstrations for Robotics

Human demonstrations can capture task-relevant manipulation without using the target robot, but the recorded hand motions cannot directly serve as robot action supervision. Hand reconstruction and motion retargeting provide a direct route to such supervision, yet recovering hand motion alone does not ensure physically consistent hand-object interactions. To address this issue, we introduce Hand2Robot, an object-centric 4D hand reconstruction framework for robot policy post-training. Given videos of humans performing the target task, Hand2Robot extracts interaction clips, reconstructs object geometry, and generates robot action supervision through hand-object interaction optimization and motion retargeting. For object tracking, we combine observation confidence with temporal motion constraints to select a globally consistent object pose trajectory from per-frame pose candidates. For hand refinement, we use object geometry and motion as a reference and combine staged 2D alignment with object-local contact constraints to refine hand trajectories and finger joint configurations. Experiments on DexYCB and HO3D-v3 show improved object pose accuracy and hand-object interaction quality. Experiments on three real-robot dexterous manipulation tasks further show that reconstructed and retargeted human demonstrations can effectively supplement limited robot data for target-task policy post-training.

OmniHOI: Dexterous Hand-Object Interaction from Monocular Human Video

Monocular videos of human manipulation provide abundant dexterous demonstrations, yet reconstructing hand-object interaction from a single view and transferring it to robot hands remain difficult, limiting their direct use for robot execution. Prior methods either require task-specific RL training, limiting scalability, or assume clean motion-capture trajectories and thus cannot operate directly on video. We present OmniHOI, a pipeline that turns an RGB video of hand-object interaction into an interaction-faithful trajectory on dexterous hands. The key idea is to enforce physical consistency using the evidence available at each stage: image evidence during reconstruction, contact geometry during retargeting, and dynamics during physics-in-the-loop refinement. Each stage optimizes the corresponding representation directly, correcting errors before they propagate downstream or must be absorbed by a learned policy. Across 150 motion-capture trajectories transferred to each of five dexterous hands with 6 to 22 DoF, we achieve 39-89% success, compared with at most 31% for prior transfer methods. On 60 monocular video clips, we achieve 53% success, compared with 28% for the best prior video-to-robot pipeline. Its trajectories also execute on a real bimanual robot across diverse tasks.

4D-HOF: Hand-Object Flow Matching for Feed-Forward 4D Interaction Reconstruction

Existing methods for 4D hand-object reconstruction often rely on costly per-sequence optimization, while generative approaches typically synthesize interactions from random noise, which can lead to unstable interaction prediction. We introduce 4D-HOF, a feed-forward framework that reconstructs 4D hand-object interactions from coarse but informative estimates produced by vision foundation models. Concretely, we learn a conditional flow matching model that transports foundation-model-derived hand-object states toward an interaction manifold, allowing the model to correct errors in translation, rotation, and alignment in a feed-forward manner. A key advantage of our generative formulation is that it naturally enables test-time guidance within the transport process. Rather than applying a separate post-hoc optimization after reconstruction, we directly steer the evolving generative states using physical interaction constraints and observed 2D evidence, allowing the reconstruction to be refined as part of the generative process itself. By training the generative model on diverse datasets, 4D-HOF generalizes robustly to challenging in-the-wild scenarios. Experiments on out-of-domain benchmarks show that 4D-HOF achieves state-of-the-art performance, producing more stable and accurate 4D hand-object reconstructions.

DynamicHOI: Coupled Dynamics for Physics-aware HOI Reconstruction

We study hand-object interaction (HOI) reconstruction from monocular RGB videos, where partial observations can produce visually plausible yet mechanically inconsistent trajectories. Existing methods mainly enforce visual and geometric agreement, leaving the underlying interaction dynamics insufficiently constrained. We propose DynamicHOI, a physics-aware HOI reconstruction framework combining geometry-grounded diffusion refinement with coupled hand-object dynamics. Geometry spatially grounds visual evidence for trajectory refinement, while articulated inverse dynamics and Newton-Euler dynamics derive hand generalized forces and object wrenches for dynamics-level supervision. We further couple hand and object dynamics through contact-force transfer and recover active hand actuation as an interaction-level physical quantity. We formulate its empirical magnitude distribution into a probabilistic prior that penalizes unlikely actuation and suppresses mechanically implausible reconstructed motion. Experiments on three HOI datasets show consistent improvements in both hand and object reconstruction. The reconstructed trajectories further benefit downstream applications including hand world-model generation and robotic manipulation learning, demonstrating the value of physics-aware HOI modeling beyond reconstruction.

Track, Articulate, Act: Generating Articulation from Casual Human Videos

Human videos contain rich causal evidence for robot manipulation: they reveal how hand motion induces object motion and produces task-relevant changes in object state. In this work, we study articulated objects such as doors, drawers, cabinets, laptops, ovens, and hinged containers that are ubiquitous in daily life and present unique challenges for embodied interaction. These objects cannot be represented by a single pose; their motion depends on the underlying parts and joints. We introduce a real-to-sim framework that reconstructs a simulation-ready articulated object and hand-object interaction from a casual monocular RGB video, without RGB-D or multi-view input, prior scans, manually specified joints, or robot demonstrations. Our key insight is that dense 3D point tracks provide an embodiment-agnostic articulation cue: points on the fixed link remain approximately stationary, while points on the moving link follow coherent revolute or prismatic motion. Our method segments the links, estimates the joint and its state trajectory, reconstructs an articulated asset, and aligns the recovered 3D hand motion with the object. Central to our approach is a modular recipe that repurposes powerful pretrained models for single-image 3D reconstruction, mesh segmentation, and 3D scene flow, connecting their predictions through explicit geometric reasoning to infer articulation. We use the reconstructed articulated object and the human hand trajectory to replay interactions through contact in MuJoCo. The framework shows how pretrained vision models and explicit motion reasoning can turn casual human videos into articulated object models suitable for downstream embodied interactions. https://track-articulate-act.github.io/

GOLF: Global Observation with Local Focus for Calibration-Aware Stereo Interaction Field Estimation

We present GOLF, the first-place solution to the SHOW3D Interaction Field Estimation Challenge at HANDS@ECCV 2026. Given synchronized egocentric stereo views, the task is to predict a 3D vector from each of 21 hand joints to the closest point on the manipulated object. GOLF combines dense global context, locally sampled hand/object evidence, and common-frame Plücker-ray geometry. We adapt DINOv3 ViT-H+/16 with LoRA and trainable LayerNorm parameters, then jointly decode both interaction fields. Our primary model achieves an official score of 27.61 and a mean ADE of 27.96 mm on the hidden test set. An equal-weight ensemble with a complementary directly fine-tuned variant improves these results to an official score of 27.47 and a mean ADE of 27.82 mm, securing first place.

GraspHOI: Full-Body 3D Human-Object Reconstruction with Finger-Level Grasps from a Single In-the-Wild Image

Existing monocular full-body 3D human-object interaction (HOI) methods do not combine explicit finger-level grasp optimization with category-agnostic object reconstruction. Despite plausible body-object configurations, their fingers may float from or penetrate objects instead of forming a grasp. We present GraspHOI, the first framework that reconstructs a full-body 3D HOI from a single image while explicitly optimizing finger articulation against the reconstructed object. GraspHOI recovers object geometry directly, without predefined meshes or a fixed category vocabulary. It reconstructs the body, hands, and object separately, aligning them in metric camera space via depth-based registration and image-space alignment. Occlusion-aware palmar correspondences seat the object against the grasping hand, and contact-aware optimization refines arm and finger articulation to form surface contact without excessive penetration. Across four benchmarks and six baselines, GraspHOI improves relative human-object placement, hand accuracy, and contact plausibility. Full pipeline code will be released.

C2Dex: Contact-Consistent Reconstruction and Retargeting for Dexterous Manipulation from Monocular Video

High-quality demonstrations for dexterous robot manipulation are costly and difficult to collect, whereas monocular human videos provide a scalable source of diverse manipulation behaviors. However, transferring such demonstrations to dexterous robots remains challenging: monocular hand-object interaction (HOI) reconstruction often produces temporally unstable contacts and physically implausible interactions, while conventional retargeting methods struggle to preserve task-relevant contacts and local interaction geometry across different hand embodiments. We present C2Dex, a video-to-dexterous-manipulation framework built around a shared interaction representation: stable object-side contacts recovered by aggregating noisy frame-wise observations in the canonical object space. These stable contacts serve a dual role: as trajectory-level constraints that guide reconstruction toward temporally coherent and physically plausible human HOI trajectories, and as explicit transfer targets for the dexterous hand, where Laplacian interaction optimization preserves the local hand-object geometry across embodiments and residual reinforcement learning refines the trajectory in simulation. Experiments on DexYCB and TACO show that C2Dex achieves end-to-end trajectory success rates of 57.78% and 26.67%, respectively, substantially outperforming the strongest baselines (17.78% and 10.00%) under identical evaluation criteria. Real-robot replay experiments further demonstrate physical feasibility across diverse contact-rich manipulation tasks. Project page: https://k-jie.github.io/C2Dex/

EgoInfinity: A Web-Scale 4D Hand-Object Interaction Data Engine for Any-View Robot Retargeting and Video-to-Action Robot Learning

Internet videos constitute the largest reservoir of embodied human manipulation knowledge, yet converting arbitrary RGB footage into actionable robot training data remains a major bottleneck. Existing lab- or factory-collected datasets are narrow in scale and diversity, limiting open-world robot learning. Instead of proposing a static dataset, we introduce EgoInfinity, a universal 4D hand-object interaction data engine that enables web-scale data generation for robot retargeting and learning. EgoInfinity is a modular engine integrating perception, segmentation, reconstruction, interaction-aware refinement, and retargeting to automate this traditionally unscalable video-to-action problem without human-in-the-loop annotation. Its modular design lets the engine continuously benefit from advances in any incorporated component. With EgoInfinity, in-the-wild human manipulation videos are lifted into agent-agnostic, metric 4D hand-object representations, including hand trajectories, 6-DoF object poses, and contact-relevant states. Rather than naively connecting standalone components, EgoInfinity combines cross-module metric calibration with interaction-aware refinement to improve physical reliability, reducing drift and contact inconsistencies common in pure visual reconstruction. We further propose a novel motion retargeter that compiles the recovered 3D hand motions into executable joint trajectories for diverse robot morphologies, enabling video-to-action retargeting on any robot from arbitrary viewpoints and shot sizes (e.g., the human body is only partially visible). We validate EgoInfinity across perception fidelity, kinematic feasibility, contact consistency, cross-embodiment generalization, and real-robot skill acquisition (e.g., grasping, cutting, wiping, and pouring), demonstrating a scalable bridge from internet videos to executable robot behavior for open-world robot learning.

Open-CHOIR: Open-World Contact-Aware 4D Hand-Object Interaction Reconstruction

We ask whether everyday open-world monocular videos can be turned into reusable 4D interaction primitives: articulated hand motion, object shape with 6D pose over time, and the when/where of contact. Such a capability would enable scalable mining of real interactions and, beyond reconstruction, support scene-aware synthesis and planning. However, reconstructing hand-object interaction (HOI) from challenging monocular videos remains difficult: methods often assume known objects or curated scenes, and separately estimated hands and objects easily become misaligned under clutter, occlusion, and unseen object geometries. Targeting this setting, we present Open-CHOIR, an Open-world Contact-aware HOI Reconstruction framework for a monocular camera, using contact as an explicit coupling signal between hands and objects. Open-CHOIR first initializes a coarse, contact-agnostic 4D HOI sequence from open-world visual priors. It then introduces a generative HOI spatial rectification module to predict ray-depth corrections and rectify hand-object relative placement, then derive initial per-frame contact correspondences on the rectified geometry. Last, a contact-aware joint optimization with dynamically updated contact constraints enforces geometric, temporal, and contact consistency. Experiments on controlled and challenging videos show that Open-CHOIR improves object reconstruction, physical plausibility, and temporal consistency over state-of-the-art methods. Code, data, and pretrained weights are available at https://github.com/hxwork/CHOIR.

PhysHanDI: Physics-Based Reconstruction of Hand-Deformable Object Interactions

While existing methods for reconstructing hand-object interactions have made impressive progress, they either focus on rigid or part-wise rigid objects-limiting their ability to model real-world objects (e.g., cloth, stuffed animals) that exhibit highly non-rigid deformations-or model deformable objects without full 3D hand reconstruction. To bridge this gap, we present PhysHanDI (Physics-based Reconstruction of Hand and Deformable Object Interactions), a framework that enables full 3D reconstruction of both interacting hands and non-rigid objects. Our key idea is to physically simulate object deformations driven by forces induced from densely reconstructed 3D hand motions, ensuring that the reconstructed object dynamics are both physically plausible and coherent with the interacting hand movements. Furthermore, we demonstrate that such simulation of object deformations can, in turn, refine and improve hand reconstruction via inverse physics. In experiments, PhysHanDI outperforms the state-of-the-art baseline across reconstruction and future prediction.

Grasp in Gaussians: Fast Monocular Reconstruction of Dynamic Hand-Object Interactions

We present Grasp in Gaussians (GraG), a fast and robust method for reconstructing dynamic 3D hand-object interactions from a single monocular video. Unlike recent approaches that optimize heavy neural representations, our method focuses on tracking the hand and the object efficiently, once initialized from pretrained large models. Our key insight is that, given strong pretrained object and hand priors, accurate and temporally stable hand-object motion can be recovered using a compact Sum-of-Gaussians (SoG) representation, revived from classical tracking literature and integrated with generative Gaussian-based initializations. We initialize object pose and geometry using a video-adapted SAM3D pipeline, then convert the resulting dense Gaussian representation into a lightweight SoG via subsampling. This compact representation enables efficient and fast tracking while preserving geometric fidelity, with the pretrained priors and simple geometric/contact losses providing accurate hand-object placement. For the hand, we adopt a complementary strategy: starting from off-the-shelf monocular hand pose initialization, we refine hand motion using simple yet effective 2D joint, silhouette, depth, and contact losses, avoiding per-frame refinement of a detailed 3D hand appearance model while maintaining stable articulation. Extensive experiments on public benchmarks demonstrate that GraG reconstructs temporally coherent hand-object interactions on long sequences 4.4x-38.9x faster than prior work while preserving temporally coherent hand-object motion.

ArtHOI: Taming Foundation Models for Monocular 4D Reconstruction of Hand-Articulated-Object Interactions

Existing hand-object interactions (HOI) methods are largely limited to rigid objects, while 4D reconstruction methods of articulated objects generally require pre-scanning the object or even multi-view videos. It remains an unexplored but significant challenge to reconstruct 4D human-articulated-object interactions from a single monocular RGB video. Fortunately, recent advancements in foundation models present a new opportunity to address this highly ill-posed problem. To this end, we introduce ArtHOI, an optimization-based framework that integrates and refines priors from multiple foundation models. Our key contribution is a suite of novel methodologies designed to resolve the inherent inaccuracies and physical unreality of these priors. In particular, we introduce an Adaptive Sampling Refinement (ASR) method to optimize object's metric scale and pose for grounding its normalized mesh in world space. Furthermore, we propose a Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM) guided hand-object alignment method, utilizing contact reasoning information as constraints of hand-object mesh composition optimization. To facilitate a comprehensive evaluation, we also contribute two new datasets, ArtHOI-RGBD and ArtHOI-Wild. Extensive experiments validate the robustness and effectiveness of our ArtHOI across diverse objects and interactions. Project: https://arthoi-reconstruction.github.io.

GHOST: Fast Category-agnostic Hand-Object Interaction Reconstruction from RGB Videos using Gaussian Splatting

Understanding realistic hand-object interactions from monocular RGB videos is essential for AR/VR, robotics, and embodied AI. Existing methods rely on category-specific templates or heavy computation, yet still produce physically inconsistent hand-object alignment in 3D. We introduce GHOST (Gaussian Hand-Object Splatting), a fast, category-agnostic framework for reconstructing dynamic hand-object interactions using 2D Gaussian Splatting. GHOST represents both hands and objects as dense, view-consistent Gaussian discs and introduces three key innovations: (1) a geometric-prior retrieval and consistency loss that completes occluded object regions, (2) a grasp-aware alignment that refines hand translations and object scale to ensure realistic contact, and (3) a hand-aware background loss that prevents penalizing hand-occluded object regions. GHOST achieves complete, physically consistent, and animatable reconstructions from a single RGB video while running an order of magnitude faster than prior category-agnostic methods. Extensive experiments on ARCTIC, HO3D, and in-the-wild datasets demonstrate state-of-the-art accuracy in 3D reconstruction and 2D rendering quality, establishing GHOST as an efficient and robust solution for realistic hand-object interaction modeling. Code is available at https://github.com/ATAboukhadra/GHOST.

WHOLE: World-Grounded Hand-Object Lifted from Egocentric Videos

Egocentric manipulation videos are highly challenging due to severe occlusions during interactions and frequent object entries and exits from the camera view as the person moves. Current methods typically focus on recovering either hand or object pose in isolation, but both struggle during interactions and fail to handle out-of-sight cases. Moreover, their independent predictions often lead to inconsistent hand-object relations. We introduce WHOLE, a method that holistically reconstructs hand and object motion in world space from egocentric videos given object templates. Our key insight is to learn a generative prior over hand-object motion to jointly reason about their interactions. At test time, the pretrained prior is guided to generate trajectories that conform to the video observations. This joint generative reconstruction substantially outperforms approaches that process hands and objects separately followed by post-processing. WHOLE achieves state-of-the-art performance on hand motion estimation, 6D object pose estimation, and their relative interaction reconstruction. Project website: https://judyye.github.io/whole-www

Interaction-Aware 4D Gaussian Splatting for Dynamic Hand-Object Interaction Reconstruction

This paper focuses on a challenging setting of simultaneously modeling geometry and appearance of hand-object interaction scenes without any object priors. We follow the trend of dynamic 3D Gaussian Splatting based methods, and address several significant challenges. To model complex hand-object interaction with mutual occlusion and edge blur, we present interaction-aware hand-object Gaussians with newly introduced optimizable parameters aiming to adopt piecewise linear hypothesis for clearer structural representation. Moreover, considering the complementarity and tightness of hand shape and object shape during interaction dynamics, we incorporate hand information into object deformation field, constructing interaction-aware dynamic fields to model flexible motions. To further address difficulties in the optimization process, we propose a progressive strategy that handles dynamic regions and static background step by step. Correspondingly, explicit regularizations are designed to stabilize the hand-object representations for smooth motion transition, physical interaction reality, and coherent lighting. Experiments show that our approach surpasses existing dynamic 3D-GS-based methods and achieves state-of-the-art performance in reconstructing dynamic hand-object interaction.
