SurfelSplat: Learning Efficient and Generalizable Gaussian Surfel Representations for Sparse-View Surface Reconstruction

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has demonstrated impressive performance in 3D scene reconstruction. Beyond novel view synthesis, it shows great potential for multi-view surface reconstruction. Existing methods employ optimization-based reconstruction pipelines that achieve precise and complete surface extractions. However, these approaches typically require dense input views and high time consumption for per-scene optimization. To address these limitations, we propose SurfelSplat, a feed-forward framework that generates efficient and generalizable pixel-aligned Gaussian surfel representations from sparse-view images. We observe that conventional feed-forward structures struggle to recover accurate geometric attributes of Gaussian surfels because the spatial frequency of pixel-aligned primitives exceeds Nyquist sampling rates. Therefore, we propose a cross-view feature aggregation module based on the Nyquist sampling theorem. Specifically, we first adapt the geometric forms of Gaussian surfels with spatial sampling rate-guided low-pass filters. We then project the filtered surfels across all input views to obtain cross-view feature correlations. By processing these correlations through a specially designed feature fusion network, we can finally regress Gaussian surfels with precise geometry. Extensive experiments on DTU reconstruction benchmarks demonstrate that our model achieves comparable results with state-of-the-art methods, and predict Gaussian surfels within 1 second, offering a 100x speedup without costly per-scene training.

ReconPhys: Reconstruct Appearance and Physical Attributes from Single Video

Reconstructing non-rigid objects with physical plausibility remains a significant challenge. Existing approaches leverage differentiable rendering for per-scene optimization, recovering geometry and dynamics but requiring expensive tuning or manual annotation, which limits practicality and generalizability. To address this, we propose ReconPhys, the first feedforward framework that jointly learns physical attribute estimation and 3D Gaussian Splatting reconstruction from a single monocular video. Our method employs a dual-branch architecture trained via a self-supervised strategy, eliminating the need for ground-truth physics labels. Given a video sequence, ReconPhys simultaneously infers geometry, appearance, and physical attributes. Experiments on a large-scale synthetic dataset demonstrate superior performance: our method achieves 21.64 PSNR in future prediction compared to 13.27 by state-of-the-art optimization baselines, while reducing Chamfer Distance from 0.349 to 0.004. Crucially, ReconPhys enables fast inference (<1 second) versus hours required by existing methods, facilitating rapid generation of simulation-ready assets for robotics and graphics.

Genie Sim PanoRecon: Fast Immersive Scene Generation from Single-View Panorama

We present Genie Sim PanoRecon, a feed-forward Gaussian-splatting pipeline that delivers high-fidelity, low-cost 3D scenes for robotic manipulation simulation. The panorama input is decomposed into six non-overlapping cube-map faces, processed in parallel, and seamlessly reassembled. To guarantee geometric consistency across views, we devise a depth-aware fusion strategy coupled with a training-free depth-injection module that steers the monocular feed-forward network to generate coherent 3D Gaussians. The whole system reconstructs photo-realistic scenes in seconds and has been integrated into Genie Sim - a LLM-driven simulation platform for embodied synthetic data generation and evaluation - to provide scalable backgrounds for manipulation tasks. AnchorSplat: Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting with 3D Geometric Priors

Recent feed-forward Gaussian reconstruction models adopt a pixel-aligned formulation that maps each 2D pixel to a 3D Gaussian, entangling Gaussian representations tightly with the input images. In this paper, we propose AnchorSplat, a novel feed-forward 3DGS framework for scene-level reconstruction that represents the scene directly in 3D space. AnchorSplat introduces an anchor-aligned Gaussian representation guided by 3D geometric priors (e.g., sparse point clouds, voxels, or RGB-D point clouds), enabling a more geometry-aware renderable 3D Gaussians that is independent of image resolution and number of views. This design substantially reduces the number of required Gaussians, improving computational efficiency while enhancing reconstruction fidelity. Beyond the anchor-aligned design, we utilize a Gaussian Refiner to adjust the intermediate Gaussiansy via merely a few forward passes. Experiments on the ScanNet++ v2 NVS benchmark demonstrate the SOTA performance, outperforming previous methods with more view-consistent and substantially fewer Gaussian primitives.

LSRM: High-Fidelity Object-Centric Reconstruction via Scaled Context Windows

We introduce the Large Sparse Reconstruction Model to study how scaling transformer context windows affects feed-forward 3D reconstruction. Although recent object-centric feed-forward methods produce robust, high-quality reconstructions, they still lag behind dense-view optimization in recovering fine-grained texture and appearance. We show that expanding the context window -- by substantially increasing the number of active object and image tokens -- narrows this gap and enables high-fidelity 3D object reconstruction and inverse rendering. To scale effectively, we adapt native sparse attention for 3D reconstruction with three key contributions: (1) an efficient coarse-to-fine pipeline that focuses computation on informative regions by predicting sparse high-resolution residuals; (2) a 3D-aware spatial routing mechanism that establishes accurate 2D-3D correspondences using explicit geometric distances rather than standard attention scores; and (3) a custom block-aware sequence-parallel strategy with an All-gather-KV protocol to balance dynamic, sparse workloads across GPUs. As a result, LSRM handles 20x more object tokens and >2x more image tokens than prior state-of-the-art (SOTA) methods. Extensive evaluations on standard novel-view synthesis benchmarks show substantial gains over the current SOTA, yielding >2.4dB higher PSNR and >40% lower LPIPS. Furthermore, when extending LSRM to inverse rendering, qualitative and quantitative evaluations on widely used benchmarks demonstrate consistent improvements in texture and geometry details, achieving an LPIPS that matches or exceeds that of SOTA dense-view optimization methods. Code and model weights are available on our project page.

SpectralSplat: Appearance-Disentangled Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting for Driving Scenes

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting methods have achieved impressive reconstruction quality for autonomous driving scenes, yet they entangle scene geometry with transient appearance properties such as lighting, weather, and time of day. This coupling prevents relighting, appearance transfer, and consistent rendering across multi-traversal data captured under varying environmental conditions. We present SpectralSplat, a method that disentangles appearance from geometry within a feed-forward Gaussian Splatting framework. Our key insight is to factor color prediction into an appearance-agnostic base stream and and appearance-conditioned adapted stream, both produced by a shared MLP conditioned on a global appearance embedding derived from DINOv2 features. To enforce disentanglement, we train with paired observations generated by a hybrid relighting pipeline that combines physics-based intrinsic decomposition with diffusion based generative refinement, and supervise with complementary consistency, reconstruction, cross-appearance, and base color losses. We further introduce an appearance-adaptable temporal history that stores appearance-agnostic features, enabling accumulated Gaussians to be re-rendered under arbitrary target appearances. Experiments demonstrate that SpectralSplat preserves the reconstruction quality of the underlying backbone while enabling controllable appearance transfer and temporally consistent relighting across driving sequences.

Flash-Mono: Feed-Forward Accelerated Gaussian Splatting Monocular SLAM

Monocular 3D Gaussian Splatting SLAM suffers from critical limitations in time efficiency, geometric accuracy, and multi-view consistency. These issues stem from the time-consuming Train-from-Scratch\textit{Train-from-Scratch} optimization and the lack of inter-frame scale consistency from single-frame geometry priors. We contend that a feed-forward paradigm, leveraging multi-frame context to predict Gaussian attributes directly, is crucial for addressing these challenges. We present Flash-Mono, a system composed of three core modules: a feed-forward prediction frontend, a 2D Gaussian Splatting mapping backend, and an efficient hidden-state-based loop closure module. We trained a recurrent feed-forward frontend model that progressively aggregates multi-frame visual features into a hidden state via cross attention and jointly predicts camera poses and per-pixel Gaussian properties. By directly predicting Gaussian attributes, our method bypasses the burdensome per-frame optimization required in optimization-based GS-SLAM, achieving a 10x\textbf{10x} speedup while ensuring high-quality rendering. The power of our recurrent architecture extends beyond efficient prediction. The hidden states act as compact submap descriptors, facilitating efficient loop closure and global Sim(3)\mathrm{Sim}(3) optimization to mitigate the long-standing challenge of drift. For enhanced geometric fidelity, we replace conventional 3D Gaussian ellipsoids with 2D Gaussian surfels. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Flash-Mono achieves state-of-the-art performance in both tracking and mapping quality, highlighting its potential for embodied perception and real-time reconstruction applications. SparseSplat: Towards Applicable Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting with Pixel-Unaligned Prediction

Recent progress in feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has notably improved rendering quality. However, the spatially uniform and highly redundant 3DGS map generated by previous feed-forward 3DGS methods limits their integration into downstream reconstruction tasks. We propose SparseSplat, the first feed-forward 3DGS model that adaptively adjusts Gaussian density according to scene structure and information richness of local regions, yielding highly compact 3DGS maps. To achieve this, we propose entropy-based probabilistic sampling, generating large, sparse Gaussians in textureless areas and assigning small, dense Gaussians to regions with rich information. Additionally, we designed a specialized point cloud network that efficiently encodes local context and decodes it into 3DGS attributes, addressing the receptive field mismatch between the general 3DGS optimization pipeline and feed-forward models. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that SparseSplat can achieve state-of-the-art rendering quality with only 22% of the Gaussians and maintain reasonable rendering quality with only 1.5% of the Gaussians. Large-scale Codec Avatars: The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Large-scale Avatar Pretraining

High-quality 3D avatar modeling faces a critical trade-off between fidelity and generalization. On the one hand, multi-view studio data enables high-fidelity modeling of humans with precise control over expressions and poses, but it struggles to generalize to real-world data due to limited scale and the domain gap between the studio environment and the real world. On the other hand, recent large-scale avatar models trained on millions of in-the-wild samples show promise for generalization across a wide range of identities, yet the resulting avatars are often of low-quality due to inherent 3D ambiguities. To address this, we present Large-Scale Codec Avatars (LCA), a high-fidelity, full-body 3D avatar model that generalizes to world-scale populations in a feedforward manner, enabling efficient inference. Inspired by the success of large language models and vision foundation models, we present, for the first time, a pre/post-training paradigm for 3D avatar modeling at scale: we pretrain on 1M in-the-wild videos to learn broad priors over appearance and geometry, then post-train on high-quality curated data to enhance expressivity and fidelity. LCA generalizes across hair styles, clothing, and demographics while providing precise, fine-grained facial expressions and finger-level articulation control, with strong identity preservation. Notably, we observe emergent generalization to relightability and loose garment support to unconstrained inputs, and zero-shot robustness to stylized imagery, despite the absence of direct supervision.

HyVGGT-VO: Tightly Coupled Hybrid Dense Visual Odometry with Feed-Forward Models

Dense visual odometry (VO), which provides pose estimation and dense 3D reconstruction, serves as the cornerstone for applications ranging from robotics to augmented reality. Recently, feed-forward models have demonstrated remarkable capabilities in dense mapping. However, when these models are used in dense visual SLAM systems, their heavy computational burden restricts them to yielding sparse pose outputs at keyframes while still failing to achieve real-time pose estimation. In contrast, traditional sparse methods provide high computational efficiency and high-frequency pose outputs, but lack the capability for dense reconstruction. To address these limitations, we propose HyVGGT-VO, a novel framework that combines the computational efficiency of sparse VO with the dense reconstruction capabilities of feed-forward models. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to tightly couple a traditional VO framework with VGGT, a state-of-the-art feed-forward model. Specifically, we design an adaptive hybrid tracking frontend that dynamically switches between traditional optical flow and the VGGT tracking head to ensure robustness. Furthermore, we introduce a hierarchical optimization framework that jointly refines VO poses and the scale of VGGT predictions to ensure global scale consistency. Our approach achieves an approximately 5x processing speedup compared to existing VGGT-based methods, while reducing the average trajectory error by 85% on the indoor EuRoC dataset and 12% on the outdoor KITTI benchmark. Our code will be publicly available upon acceptance. Project page: https://geneta2580.github.io/HyVGGT-VO.io.

RecGen3D: Reconstruction-Guided 3D Generation in a Shared Canonical Space

Sparse-view 3D modeling represents a fundamental tension between reconstruction fidelity and generative plausibility. While feed-forward reconstruction excels in efficiency and input alignment, it often lacks the global priors needed for structural completeness. Conversely, diffusion-based generation provides rich geometric details but struggles with multi-view consistency. We present RecGen3D, a framework that combines these two paradigms into a cooperative system. To overcome inherent conflicts in coordinate spaces, 3D representations, and training objectives, we align both models within a shared canonical space. We employ decoupled cooperative learning, which maintains stable training while enabling seamless collaboration during inference. Specifically, the reconstruction module is adapted to provide canonical geometric anchors, while the diffusion generator leverages latent-augmented conditioning to refine and complete the geometric structure. Experimental results demonstrate that RecGen3D achieves superior fidelity and robustness, outperforming existing methods in creating complete and consistent 3D models from sparse observations.

Diff3R: Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting with Uncertainty-aware Differentiable Optimization

Recent advances in 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) present two main directions: feed-forward models offer fast inference in sparse-view settings, while per-scene optimization yields high-quality renderings but is computationally expensive. To combine the benefits of both, we introduce Diff3R, a novel framework that explicitly bridges feed-forward prediction and test-time optimization. By incorporating a differentiable 3DGS optimization layer directly into the training loop, our network learns to predict an optimal initialization for test-time optimization rather than a conventional zero-shot result. To overcome the computational cost of backpropagating through the optimization steps, we propose computing gradients via the Implicit Function Theorem and a scalable, matrix-free PCG solver tailored for 3DGS optimization. Additionally, we incorporate a data-driven uncertainty model into the optimization process by adaptively controlling how much the parameters are allowed to change during optimization. This approach effectively mitigates overfitting in under-constrained regions and increases robustness against input outliers. Since our proposed optimization layer is model-agnostic, we show that it can be seamlessly integrated into existing feed-forward 3DGS architectures for both pose-given and pose-free methods, providing improvements for test-time optimization.

Reliev3R: Relieving Feed-forward Reconstruction from Multi-View Geometric Annotations

With recent advances, Feed-forward Reconstruction Models (FFRMs) have demonstrated great potential in reconstruction quality and adaptiveness to multiple downstream tasks. However, the excessive reliance on multi-view geometric annotations, e.g. 3D point maps and camera poses, makes the fully-supervised training scheme of FFRMs difficult to scale up. In this paper, we propose Reliev3R, a weakly-supervised paradigm for training FFRMs from scratch without cost-prohibitive multi-view geometric annotations. Relieving the reliance on geometric sensory data and compute-exhaustive structure-from-motion preprocessing, our method draws 3D knowledge directly from monocular relative depths and image sparse correspondences given by zero-shot predictions of pretrained models. At the core of Reliev3R, we design an ambiguity-aware relative depth loss and a trigonometry-based reprojection loss to facilitate supervision for multi-view geometric consistency. Training from scratch with the less data, Reliev3R catches up with its fully-supervised sibling models, taking a step towards low-cost 3D reconstruction supervisions and scalable FFRMs.

AA-Splat: Anti-Aliased Feed-forward Gaussian Splatting

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (FF-3DGS) emerges as a fast and robust solution for sparse-view 3D reconstruction and novel view synthesis (NVS). However, existing FF-3DGS methods are built on incorrect screen-space dilation filters, causing severe rendering artifacts when rendering at out-of-distribution sampling rates. We firstly propose an FF-3DGS model, called AA-Splat, to enable robust anti-aliased rendering at any resolution. AA-Splat utilizes an opacity-balanced band-limiting (OBBL) design, which combines two components: a 3D band-limiting post-filter integrates multi-view maximal frequency bounds into the feed-forward reconstruction pipeline, effectively band-limiting the resulting 3D scene representations and eliminating degenerate Gaussians; an Opacity Balancing (OB) to seamlessly integrate all pixel-aligned Gaussian primitives into the rendering process, compensating for the increased overlap between expanded Gaussian primitives. AA-Splat demonstrates drastic improvements with average 5.4∼\sim7.5dB PSNR gains on NVS performance over a state-of-the-art (SOTA) baseline, DepthSplat, at all resolutions, between 4×4\times and 1/4×1/4\times. Code will be made available.

GenFusion: Feed-forward Human Performance Capture via Progressive Canonical Space Updates

We present a feed-forward human performance capture method that renders novel views of a performer from a monocular RGB stream. A key challenge in this setting is the lack of sufficient observations, especially for unseen regions. Assuming the subject moves continuously over time, we take advantage of the fact that more body parts become observable by maintaining a canonical space that is progressively updated with each incoming frame. This canonical space accumulates appearance information over time and serves as a context bank when direct observations are missing in the current live frame. To effectively utilize this context while respecting the deformation of the live state, we formulate the rendering process as probabilistic regression. This resolves conflicts between past and current observations, producing sharper reconstructions than deterministic regression approaches. Furthermore, it enables plausible synthesis even in regions with no prior observations. Experiments on in-domain (4D-Dress) and out-of-distribution (MVHumanNet) datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.

From None to All: Self-Supervised 3D Reconstruction via Novel View Synthesis

In this paper, we introduce NAS3R, a self-supervised feed-forward framework that jointly learns explicit 3D geometry and camera parameters with no ground-truth annotations and no pretrained priors. During training, NAS3R reconstructs 3D Gaussians from uncalibrated and unposed context views and renders target views using its self-predicted camera parameters, enabling self-supervised training from 2D photometric supervision. To ensure stable convergence, NAS3R integrates reconstruction and camera prediction within a shared transformer backbone regulated by masked attention, and adopts a depth-based Gaussian formulation that facilitates well-conditioned optimization. The framework is compatible with state-of-the-art supervised 3D reconstruction architectures and can incorporate pretrained priors or intrinsic information when available. Extensive experiments show that NAS3R achieves superior results to other self-supervised methods, establishing a scalable and geometry-aware paradigm for 3D reconstruction from unconstrained data. HD-VGGT: High-Resolution Visual Geometry Transformer

High-resolution imagery is essential for accurate 3D reconstruction, as many geometric details only emerge at fine spatial scales. Recent feed-forward approaches, such as the Visual Geometry Grounded Transformer (VGGT), have demonstrated the ability to infer scene geometry from large collections of images in a single forward pass. However, scaling these models to high-resolution inputs remains challenging: the number of tokens in transformer architectures grows rapidly with both image resolution and the number of views, leading to prohibitive computational and memory costs. Moreover, we observe that visually ambiguous regions, such as repetitive patterns, weak textures, or specular surfaces, often produce unstable feature tokens that degrade geometric inference, especially at higher resolutions. We introduce HD-VGGT, a dual-branch architecture for efficient and robust high-resolution 3D reconstruction. A low-resolution branch predicts a coarse, globally consistent geometry, while a high-resolution branch refines details via a learned feature upsampling module. To handle unstable tokens, we propose Feature Modulation, which suppresses unreliable features early in the transformer. HD-VGGT leverages high-resolution images and supervision without full-resolution transformer costs, achieving state-of-the-art reconstruction quality.

SceneExpander: Text-Guided 3D Scene Expansion via Free-Form View Insertion

World building with 3D scene representations is increasingly important for content creation, simulation, and interactive experiences, yet real workflows are inherently iterative: creators repeatedly extend existing scenes under user control. Motivated by this gap, we study text-guided 3D scene expansion via free-form view insertion. Starting from a real scene captured by multi-view images, a user specifies a text expansion intent, which a generative model materializes as an inserted view extending the scene coverage. Unlike simple object editing or style transfer within a fixed scene, the inserted view may be 3D-misaligned with the original reconstruction, introducing geometric shifts, hallucinated content, or view-dependent artifacts that disrupt global multi-view consistency. To address this challenge, we propose SceneExpander, which applies test-time adaptation to a parametric feed-forward 3D reconstruction model with two complementary distillation signals: anchor distillation stabilizes the captured scene using geometric cues from the captured views, while inserted-view self-distillation retains insertion-supported predictions to accommodate the misaligned view. Experiments on ETH scenes and online data demonstrate improved expansion behavior and reconstruction quality under misalignment.

Fus3D: Decoding Consolidated 3D Geometry from Feed-forward Geometry Transformer Latents

We propose a feed-forward method for dense Signed Distance Field (SDF) regression from unstructured image collections in less than three seconds, without camera calibration or post-hoc fusion. Our key insight is that the intermediate feature space of pretrained multi-view feed-forward geometry transformers already encodes a powerful joint world representation; yet, existing pipelines discard it, routing features through per-view prediction heads before assembling 3D geometry post-hoc, which discards valuable completeness information and accumulates inaccuracies. We instead perform 3D extraction directly from geometry transformer features via learned volumetric extraction: voxelized canonical embeddings that progressively absorb multi-view geometry information through interleaved cross- and self-attention into a structured volumetric latent grid. A simple convolutional decoder then maps this grid to a dense SDF. We additionally propose a scalable, validity-aware supervision scheme directly using SDFs derived from depth maps or 3D assets, tackling practical issues like non-watertight meshes. Our approach yields complete and well-defined distance values across sparse- and dense-view settings and demonstrates geometrically plausible completions. Less Gaussians, Texture More: 4K Feed-Forward Textured Splatting

Existing feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting methods predict pixel-aligned primitives, leading to a quadratic growth in primitive count as resolution increases. This fundamentally limits their scalability, making high-resolution synthesis such as 4K intractable. We introduce LGTM (Less Gaussians, Texture More), a feed-forward framework that overcomes this resolution scaling barrier. By predicting compact Gaussian primitives coupled with per-primitive textures, LGTM decouples geometric complexity from rendering resolution. This approach enables high-fidelity 4K novel view synthesis without per-scene optimization, a capability previously out of reach for feed-forward methods, all while using significantly fewer Gaussian primitives. ViewSplat: View-Adaptive 3D Gaussian Splatting for Feed-Forward Synthesis

We present ViewSplat, a view-adaptive 3D Gaussian splatting network for novel view synthesis from unposed images. While recent feed-forward 3D Gaussian splatting has significantly accelerated 3D scene reconstruction by bypassing per-scene optimization, a fundamental fidelity gap remains. We attribute this gap to the limited capacity of single-step feed-forward networks to regress static Gaussian primitives that satisfy all viewpoints. To address this limitation, we shift the paradigm from static primitive regression to view-adaptive splatting. Instead of a rigid Gaussian representation, our pipeline learns a view-adaptive latent representation. Specifically, ViewSplat initially predicts base Gaussian primitives alongside the weights of scene-conditioned View MLPs. During rendering, these MLPs take target-view coordinates as input and predict view-dependent residual updates for each Gaussian attribute (i.e., 3D position, scale, rotation, opacity, and color). This mechanism, which we term view-adaptive splatting, allows each primitive to rectify initial estimation errors, effectively capturing high-fidelity appearances. Extensive experiments demonstrate that ViewSplat achieves state-of-the-art fidelity while maintaining fast inference and real-time rendering; our large backbone variant runs at 15 FPS during inference and 90 FPS during rendering. AirSplat: Alignment and Rating for Robust Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

While 3D Vision Foundation Models (3DVFMs) have demonstrated remarkable zero-shot capabilities in visual geometry estimation, their direct application to generalizable novel view synthesis (NVS) remains challenging. In this paper, we propose AirSplat, a novel training framework that effectively adapts the robust geometric priors of 3DVFMs into high-fidelity, pose-free NVS. Our approach introduces two key technical contributions: (1) Self-Consistent Pose Alignment (SCPA), a training-time feedback loop that ensures pixel-aligned supervision to resolve pose-geometry discrepancy; and (2) Rating-based Opacity Matching (ROM), which leverages the local 3D geometry consistency knowledge from a sparse-view NVS teacher model to filter out degraded primitives. Experimental results on large-scale benchmarks demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art pose-free NVS approaches in reconstruction quality. Our AirSplat highlights the potential of adapting 3DVFMs to enable simultaneous visual geometry estimation and high-quality view synthesis.

HGGT: Robust and Flexible 3D Hand Mesh Reconstruction from Uncalibrated Images

Recovering high-fidelity 3D hand geometry from images is a critical task in computer vision, holding significant value for domains such as robotics, animation and VR/AR. Crucially, scalable applications demand both accuracy and deployment flexibility, requiring the ability to leverage massive amounts of unstructured image data from the internet or enable deployment on consumer-grade RGB cameras without complex calibration. However, current methods face a dilemma. While single-view approaches are easy to deploy, they suffer from depth ambiguity and occlusion. Conversely, multi-view systems resolve these uncertainties but typically demand fixed, calibrated setups, limiting their real-world utility. To bridge this gap, we draw inspiration from 3D foundation models that learn explicit geometry directly from visual data. By reformulating hand reconstruction from arbitrary views as a visual-geometry grounded task, we propose a feed-forward architecture that, for the first time in literature, jointly infers 3D hand meshes and camera poses from uncalibrated views. Extensive evaluations show that our approach outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks and demonstrates strong generalization to uncalibrated, in-the-wild scenarios. AdvSplat: Adversarial Attacks on Feed-Forward Gaussian Splatting Models

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) is increasingly recognized as a powerful paradigm for real-time, high-fidelity 3D reconstruction. However, its per-scene optimization pipeline limits scalability and generalization, and prevents efficient inference. Recently emerged feed-forward 3DGS models address these limitations by enabling fast reconstruction from a few input views after large-scale pretraining, without scene-specific optimization. Despite their advantages and strong potential for commercial deployment, the use of neural networks as the backbone also amplifies the risk of adversarial manipulation. In this paper, we introduce AdvSplat, the first systematic study of adversarial attacks on feed-forward 3DGS. We first employ white-box attacks to reveal fundamental vulnerabilities of this model family. We then develop two improved, practically relevant, query-efficient black-box algorithms that optimize pixel-space perturbations via a frequency-domain parameterization: one based on gradient estimation and the other gradient-free, without requiring any access to model internals. Extensive experiments across multiple datasets demonstrate that AdvSplat can significantly disrupt reconstruction results by injecting imperceptible perturbations into the input images. Our findings surface an overlooked yet urgent problem in this domain, and we hope to draw the community's attention to this emerging security and robustness challenge.

SLARM: Streaming and Language-Aligned Reconstruction Model for Dynamic Scenes

We propose SLARM, a feed-forward model that unifies dynamic scene reconstruction, semantic understanding, and real-time streaming inference. SLARM captures complex, non-uniform motion through higher-order motion modeling, trained solely on differentiable renderings without any flow supervision. Besides, SLARM distills semantic features from LSeg to obtain language-aligned representations. This design enables semantic querying via natural language, and the tight coupling between semantics and geometry further enhances the accuracy and robustness of dynamic reconstruction. Moreover, SLARM processes image sequences using window-based causal attention, achieving stable, low-latency streaming inference without accumulating memory cost. Within this unified framework, SLARM achieves state-of-the-art results in dynamic estimation, rendering quality, and scene parsing, improving motion accuracy by 21%, reconstruction PSNR by 1.6 dB, and segmentation mIoU by 20% over existing methods.

UniQueR: Unified Query-based Feedforward 3D Reconstruction

We present UniQueR, a unified query-based feedforward framework for efficient and accurate 3D reconstruction from unposed images. Existing feedforward models such as DUSt3R, VGGT, and AnySplat typically predict per-pixel point maps or pixel-aligned Gaussians, which remain fundamentally 2.5D and limited to visible surfaces. In contrast, UniQueR formulates reconstruction as a sparse 3D query inference problem. Our model learns a compact set of 3D anchor points that act as explicit geometric queries, enabling the network to infer scene structure, including geometry in occluded regions--in a single forward pass. Each query encodes spatial and appearance priors directly in global 3D space (instead of per-frame camera space) and spawns a set of 3D Gaussians for differentiable rendering. By leveraging unified query interactions across multi-view features and a decoupled cross-attention design, UniQueR achieves strong geometric expressiveness while substantially reducing memory and computational cost. Experiments on Mip-NeRF 360 and VR-NeRF demonstrate that UniQueR surpasses state-of-the-art feedforward methods in both rendering quality and geometric accuracy, using an order of magnitude fewer primitives than dense alternatives.

CAM3R: Camera-Agnostic Model for 3D Reconstruction

Recovering dense 3D geometry from unposed images remains a foundational challenge in computer vision. Current state-of-the-art models are predominantly trained on perspective datasets, which implicitly constrains them to a standard pinhole camera geometry. As a result, these models suffer from significant geometric degradation when applied to wide-angle imagery captured via non-rectilinear optics, such as fisheye or panoramic sensors. To address this, we present CAM3R, a Camera-Agnostic, feed-forward Model for 3D Reconstruction capable of processing images from wide-angle camera models without prior calibration. Our framework consists of a two-view network which is bifurcated into a Ray Module (RM) to estimate per-pixel ray directions and a Cross-view Module (CVM) to infer radial distance with confidence maps, pointmaps, and relative poses. To unify these pairwise predictions into a consistent 3D scene, we introduce a Ray-Aware Global Alignment framework for pose refinement and scale optimization while strictly preserving the predicted local geometry. Extensive experiments on various camera model datasets, including panorama, fisheye and pinhole imagery, demonstrate that CAM3R establishes a new state-of-the-art in pose estimation and reconstruction.

F4Splat: Feed-Forward Predictive Densification for Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

Feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting methods enable single-pass reconstruction and real-time rendering. However, they typically adopt rigid pixel-to-Gaussian or voxel-to-Gaussian pipelines that uniformly allocate Gaussians, leading to redundant Gaussians across views. Moreover, they lack an effective mechanism to control the total number of Gaussians while maintaining reconstruction fidelity. To address these limitations, we present F4Splat, which performs Feed-Forward predictive densification for Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting, introducing a densification-score-guided allocation strategy that adaptively distributes Gaussians according to spatial complexity and multi-view overlap. Our model predicts per-region densification scores to estimate the required Gaussian density and allows explicit control over the final Gaussian budget without retraining. This spatially adaptive allocation reduces redundancy in simple regions and minimizes duplicate Gaussians across overlapping views, producing compact yet high-quality 3D representations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our model achieves superior novel-view synthesis performance compared to prior uncalibrated feed-forward methods, while using significantly fewer Gaussians.

2Xplat: Decoupling Geometry and Appearance Modeling for Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting

Pose-free feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has opened a new frontier for rapid 3D modeling, enabling high-quality Gaussian representations to be generated from uncalibrated multi-view images in a single forward pass. The dominant approach adopts unified monolithic architectures, often built on geometry-centric 3D foundation models, to jointly estimate camera poses and synthesize 3DGS representations within a single network, entangling geometric reasoning and appearance modeling within a shared representation. In this work, we introduce 2Xplat, a pose-free feed-forward 3DGS framework based on a two-experts design that explicitly separates geometry estimation from Gaussian generation: a dedicated geometry expert first predicts camera poses, which are then passed to an appearance expert that synthesizes 3D Gaussians. Despite its conceptual simplicity, and being largely underexplored in prior works, our two-experts pipeline outperforms prior pose-free feed-forward 3DGS approaches in fewer than 5K training iterations, achieving performance on par with state-of-the-art posed methods. These results challenge the prevailing unified paradigm and suggest the potential advantages of modular design for complex 3D geometric estimation and appearance synthesis tasks.

RayMap3R: Inference-Time RayMap for Dynamic 3D Reconstruction

Streaming feed-forward 3D reconstruction enables real-time joint estimation of scene geometry and camera poses from RGB images. However, without explicit dynamic reasoning, streaming models can be affected by moving objects, causing artifacts and drift. In this work, we propose RayMap3R, a training-free streaming framework for dynamic scene reconstruction. We observe that RayMap-based predictions exhibit a static-scene bias, providing an internal cue for dynamic identification. Based on this observation, we construct a dual-branch inference scheme that identifies dynamic regions by contrasting RayMap and image predictions, suppressing their interference during memory updates. We further introduce reset metric alignment and state-aware smoothing to preserve metric consistency and stabilize predicted trajectories. Our method achieves state-of-the-art performance among streaming approaches on dynamic scene reconstruction across multiple benchmarks.
