Beyond a Single Light: A Large-Scale Aerial Dataset for Urban Scene Reconstruction Under Varying Illumination

Recent advances in Neural Radiance Fields and 3D Gaussian Splatting have demonstrated strong potential for large-scale UAV-based 3D reconstruction tasks by fitting the appearance of images. However, real-world large-scale captures are often based on multi-temporal data capture, where illumination inconsistencies across different times of day can significantly lead to color artifacts, geometric inaccuracies, and inconsistent appearance. Due to the lack of UAV datasets that systematically capture the same areas under varying illumination conditions, this challenge remains largely underexplored. To fill this gap, we introduceSkyLume, a large-scale, real-world UAV dataset specifically designed for studying illumination robust 3D reconstruction in urban scene modeling: (1) We collect data from 10 urban regions data comprising more than 100k high resolution UAV images (four oblique views and nadir), where each region is captured at three periods of the day to systematically isolate illumination changes. (2) To support precise evaluation of geometry and appearance, we provide per-scene LiDAR scans and accurate 3D ground-truth for assessing depth, surface normals, and reconstruction quality under varying illumination. (3) For the inverse rendering task, we introduce the Temporal Consistency Coefficient (TCC), a metric that measuress cross-time albedo stability and directly evaluates the robustness of the disentanglement of light and material. We aim for this resource to serve as a foundation that advances research and real-world evaluation in large-scale inverse rendering, geometry reconstruction, and novel view synthesis.

GAINS: Gaussian-based Inverse Rendering from Sparse Multi-View Captures

Recent advances in Gaussian Splatting-based inverse rendering extend Gaussian primitives with shading parameters and physically grounded light transport, enabling high-quality material recovery from dense multi-view captures. However, the accuracy of these methods degrades under sparse-view settings, where limited observations lead to severe ambiguity between geometry, reflectance, and lighting. We introduce GAINS (Gaussian-based Inverse rendering from Sparse multi-view captures), a two-stage inverse rendering framework that leverages foundation models as priors to stabilize geometry and material estimation. The core technical contribution of this paper is an inverse rendering framework that unifies foundation model priors with physically-based representations in an optimization scheme. GAINS first refines geometry using monocular depth, normal, and diffusion priors, and then employs segmentation, intrinsic image decomposition (IID), and diffusion priors to regularize material recovery. Extensive experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets show that GAINS significantly improves material parameter accuracy, relighting quality, and novel-view synthesis compared to state-of-the-art Gaussian-based inverse rendering methods. While GAINS outperforms and remains competitive across a wide range of objects captured with 4 to 32 cameras, the improvement is particularly pronounced under sparse-view settings, where ambiguity is high and learning-based priors become especially beneficial. InverseCrafter: Efficient Video ReCapture as a Latent Domain Inverse Problem

Recent approaches in controllable novel view video generation often rely on fine-tuning pre-trained Video Diffusion Models (VDMs). This dominant paradigm is computationally expensive and frequently suffers from catastrophic forgetting of the model's original generative priors. To address this challenge, here we propose InverseCrafter, a VDM training-free framework that reformulates novel view video generation as an inpainting-based inverse problem in the latent space, eliminating the need for any annotated 4D training data. The core of our method is to establish operator equivalence by employing a lightweight latent mask encoder to define a latent-domain masking operation via a continuous, multi-channel representation. This principled representation faithfully models the forward process in the latent domain, enabling efficient, backpropagation-free solvers while bypassing the costly bottleneck of repeated VAE operations. InverseCrafter achieves high-fidelity, spatio-temporally coherent novel view synthesis with near-zero additional inference overhead and excels at general-purpose video inpainting and editing by fully preserving the pre-trained VDM's generative capabilities.

HybridWorldSim: A Scalable and Controllable High-fidelity Simulator for Autonomous Driving

Realistic and controllable simulation is critical for advancing end-to-end autonomous driving, yet existing approaches often struggle to support novel view synthesis under large viewpoint changes or to ensure geometric consistency. We introduce HybridWorldSim, a hybrid simulation framework that integrates multi-traversal neural reconstruction for static backgrounds with generative modeling for dynamic agents. This unified design addresses key limitations of previous methods, enabling the creation of diverse and high-fidelity driving scenarios with reliable visual and spatial consistency. To facilitate robust benchmarking, we further release a new multi-traversal dataset MIRROR that captures a wide range of routes and environmental conditions across different cities. Extensive experiments demonstrate that HybridWorldSim surpasses previous state-of-the-art methods, providing a practical and scalable solution for high-fidelity simulation and a valuable resource for research and development in autonomous driving.

Unlocking Zero-shot Potential of Semi-dense Image Matching via Gaussian Splatting

Learning-based image matching critically depends on large-scale, diverse, and geometrically accurate training data. 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables photorealistic novel-view synthesis and thus is attractive for data generation. However, its geometric inaccuracies and biased depth rendering currently prevent robust correspondence labeling. To address this, we introduce MatchGS, the first framework designed to systematically correct and leverage 3DGS for robust, zero-shot image matching. Our approach is twofold: (1) a geometrically-faithful data generation pipeline that refines 3DGS geometry to produce highly precise correspondence labels, enabling the synthesis of a vast and diverse range of viewpoints without compromising rendering fidelity; and (2) a 2D-3D representation alignment strategy that infuses 3DGS' explicit 3D knowledge into the 2D matcher, guiding 2D semi-dense matchers to learn viewpoint-invariant 3D representations. Our generated ground-truth correspondences reduce the epipolar error by up to 40 times compared to existing datasets, enable supervision under extreme viewpoint changes, and provide self-supervisory signals through Gaussian attributes. Consequently, state-of-the-art matchers trained solely on our data achieve significant zero-shot performance gains on public benchmarks, with improvements of up to 17.7%. Our work demonstrates that with proper geometric refinement, 3DGS can serve as a scalable, high-fidelity, and structurally-rich data source, paving the way for a new generation of robust zero-shot image matchers.

Complex-Valued 2D Gaussian Representation for Computer-Generated Holography

Complex-valued Gaussian primitives have recently been explored for representing holographic radiance fields in 3D novel view synthesis. In this work, we extend this line of research to the hologram optimization domain and propose a structured representation based on complex-valued 2D Gaussian primitives. Inspired by Gabor's theory, we show that our primitive attains the minimum space-frequency uncertainty and reduces the parameter search space by 5:1 compared to per-pixel parameterization. To enable end-to-end training, we develop a differentiable rasterizer for our representation, integrated with a GPU-optimized light propagation kernel in free space. Extensive experiments show that our method reduces VRAM usage by up to 30% and accelerates optimization by 50% over standard autodiff-based implementations, delivers up to 13 dB higher PSNR than prior Gaussian-based methods, and achieves up to 3200x faster rendering while maintaining reconstruction quality on par with existing CGH approaches. For evaluation, we introduce a conversion procedure that adapts our representation to practical hologram formats, including smooth and random phase-only holograms. By reducing the hologram parameter search space, our representation enables a more scalable hologram estimation in the next-generation computer-generated holography systems.

SPFSplatV2: Efficient Self-Supervised Pose-Free 3D Gaussian Splatting from Sparse Views

We introduce SPFSplatV2, an efficient feed-forward framework for 3D Gaussian splatting from sparse multi-view images, requiring no ground-truth poses during training or inference. The framework employs a shared feature extraction backbone to jointly predict 3D Gaussian primitives and camera poses in a canonical space from unposed inputs. To enable efficient and accurate pose estimation, we introduce a masked attention mechanism for target-view pose prediction and a reprojection loss that enforces pixel-aligned Gaussian primitives, providing stronger geometric constraints. We further demonstrate the compatibility of our training framework with different reconstruction architectures, resulting in two model variants. Remarkably, despite the absence of pose supervision, our method achieves state-of-the-art performance in both in-domain and out-of-domain novel view synthesis, even under extreme viewpoint changes and limited image overlap. It also surpasses many methods that rely on geometric supervision in relative pose estimation. By eliminating dependence on ground-truth poses, our method offers the scalability to leverage larger and more diverse datasets. Code and pretrained models will be available on our project page: https://ranrhuang.github.io/spfsplatv2/.

Camera Splatting for Continuous View Optimization

We propose Camera Splatting, a novel view optimization framework for novel view synthesis. Each camera is modeled as a 3D Gaussian, referred to as a camera splat, and virtual cameras, termed point cameras, are placed at 3D points sampled near the surface to observe the distribution of camera splats. View optimization is achieved by continuously and differentiably refining the camera splats so that desirable target distributions are observed from the point cameras, in a manner similar to the original 3D Gaussian splatting. Compared to the Farthest View Sampling (FVS) approach, our optimized views demonstrate superior performance in capturing complex view-dependent phenomena, including intense metallic reflections and intricate textures such as text.

SUCCESS-GS: Survey of Compactness and Compression for Efficient Static and Dynamic Gaussian Splatting

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) has emerged as a powerful explicit representation enabling real-time, high-fidelity 3D reconstruction and novel view synthesis. However, its practical use is hindered by the massive memory and computational demands required to store and render millions of Gaussians. These challenges become even more severe in 4D dynamic scenes. To address these issues, the field of Efficient Gaussian Splatting has rapidly evolved, proposing methods that reduce redundancy while preserving reconstruction quality. This survey provides the first unified overview of efficient 3D and 4D Gaussian Splatting techniques. For both 3D and 4D settings, we systematically categorize existing methods into two major directions, Parameter Compression and Restructuring Compression, and comprehensively summarize the core ideas and methodological trends within each category. We further cover widely used datasets, evaluation metrics, and representative benchmark comparisons. Finally, we discuss current limitations and outline promising research directions toward scalable, compact, and real-time Gaussian Splatting for both static and dynamic 3D scene representation.

InstantHDR: Single-forward Gaussian Splatting Initialization for HDR 3D Reconstruction

High dynamic range (HDR) novel view synthesis (NVS) aims to reconstruct HDR scenes from multi-exposure low dynamic range (LDR) images. Existing HDR pipelines heavily rely on known camera poses, well-initialized dense point clouds, and time-consuming per-scene optimization. Current feed-forward alternatives overlook the HDR problem by assuming exposure-invariant appearance. To bridge this gap, we propose InstantHDR, a feed-forward network that initializes 3D HDR scenes from uncalibrated multi-exposure LDR collections in a fast single forward pass. Specifically, we design a geometry-guided appearance modeling for multi-exposure fusion, and a meta-network for generalizable scene-specific tone mapping. Due to the lack of HDR scene data, we build a pre-training dataset, called HDR-Pretrain, for generalizable feed-forward HDR models, featuring 168 Blender-rendered scenes, diverse lighting types, and multiple camera response functions. Comprehensive experiments show that our InstantHDR delivers a single-forward HDR initialization at approximately 700 times the speed of SoTA optimization-based methods, and reaches comparable quality in real settings after lightweight post-optimization while remaining approximately 20 times faster. WilLaGS: Latent-Conditional 3D Appearance Fields for Robust Gaussian Splatting In-the-Wild

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) delivers real-time and high-fidelity rendering but remains challenged by unconstrained in-the-wild scenes, where drastic appearance variations and transient objects violate multi-view consistency. Existing methods are fundamentally limited by independent and discrete embeddings that struggle to capture continuous environmental changes or model spatially-varying local illumination. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{WilLaGS}, a unified framework for robust 3D scene reconstruction and generative appearance synthesis under unconstrained settings. Specifically, we introduce a generative appearance model where a ββ-VAE learns a structured and continuous manifold of global appearance. Conditioned on the latent code, we construct a 3D neural appearance field that generates dynamic Tri-Plane features to encode spatially-varying local illumination effects. Furthermore, to suppress transient artifacts, we present a self-supervised perceptual masking mechanism that leverages a Teacher-Student (EMA) architecture to derive a stable scene consensus, robustly identifying inconsistent regions via perceptual discrepancies. Extensive experiments on multiple datasets demonstrate that \textbf{WilLaGS} achieves state-of-the-art performance in reconstruction quality and novel view appearance synthesis, while maintaining real-time rendering efficiency.

PE-Field 4D: Video Generation Models as Canvas

Diffusion Transformers have recently achieved strong performance in video generation, yet controlling scene geometry under viewpoint changes and camera motion remains challenging. In this work, we revisit the role of positional encoding in video diffusion transformers and show that it provides a useful spatial bias for geometry-aware control. Specifically, if reference tokens are encoded according to their projected locations in the target view, the denoising model is encouraged to retrieve content from position aligned regions of the input video. Building on this observation, we introduce a geometry-aware cross-attention mechanism that enables target video latent tokens to attend to structured context tokens derived from reference images or frames. To establish correspondence between the reference content and the target camera trajectory, we equip the context tokens with a projected positional encoding scheme that combines target-view 2D reprojection with depth-aware disambiguation. At the same time, we preserve the original spatiotemporal positional encoding of the generated video latent, allowing geometric guidance to be injected while maintaining consistency with the video model's native latent structure. The resulting framework provides a simple and effective approach for controllable video generation. It improves spatial controllability in viewpoint-dependent editing tasks, including camera re-trajectory, novel-view video synthesis, and geometry-aware video editing, while preserving the generative prior of the underlying video diffusion model. World Tracing: Generative Pixel-Aligned Geometry Beyond the Visible

Image-to-3D methods often trade off faithfulness and completeness: depth estimators are anchored to input pixels but stop at the visible surface, while image-to-3D models generate complete shapes that are often misaligned with the input. We introduce World Tracing, a generative pixel-aligned geometry representation that predicts 3D points aligned with observed pixels while completing geometry beyond the visible surface. For each input pixel, World Tracing predicts an ordered stack of camera-space 3D points, where the first layer represents the visible surface and subsequent layers represent front-to-back intersections with occluded surfaces. We instantiate this representation with a world-tracing diffusion transformer, WT-DiT, which treats multiple geometry layers as separate denoising tokens coupled through factorized and global attention. WT-DiT is trained with pixel-space flow matching and a mixed noise schedule that balances visible-surface reconstruction with occluded-geometry generation. World Tracing achieves strong performance on visible-surface reconstruction and complete geometry generation across object, scene, and dynamic benchmarks, outperforming both depth predictors and image-to-3D generators. It also preserves 2D-to-3D correspondence, enabling text-driven 3D scene editing, geometry-conditioned novel-view video synthesis, and training-free integration with textured-mesh generators.

Learning View-Dependent Splatting Kernels

We present a differentiable framework to automatically learn view-dependent 2D kernels in a splatting-based pipeline to improve reconstruction quality and representation efficiency for novel 3D view synthesis. Our volumetric primitive is defined as a bounding ellipsoid and a 3D-kernel latent vector. We first learn a projection network to output a 2D-kernel latent, taking the attributes of the ellipsoid and the 3D-kernel latent as input. Next, the result is sent to a decoder to produce a radially symmetric 2D kernel in terms of Mahalanobis distance, bounded by the projected ellipsoid. The neural networks along with per-primitive attributes are jointly optimized. The effectiveness of our approach is demonstrated on standard benchmarks, comparing favorably against state-of-the-art techniques on both analytical and learned kernels. Finally, we extend the idea to learn general 2D kernels for 2D splatting as well as image representation.

PoseCompass: Intelligent Synthetic Pose Selection for Visual Localization

In visual localization, Absolute Pose Regression (APR) enables real-time 6-DoF camera pose inference from single images, yet critically depends on fine-tuning data quality and coverage. While recent methods leverage 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for novel view synthesis-based data augmentation, random sampling generates redundant views and noisy samples from poorly reconstructed regions. To mitigate this research gap, we propose PoseCompass, an intelligent pose selection pipeline for 3DGS-based APR. PoseCompass formulates synthetic pose selection and derives a value-based pose ranking mechanism to identify informative poses. The ranking integrates three dimensions: Localization Difficulty, favoring challenging regions; Coverage Novelty, exploring under-sampled areas; and Rendering Observability, filtering artifacts and noise. PoseCompass then generates trajectory-constrained candidates, selects the top-K ranked poses, and synthesizes views using 3DGS with lightweight diffusion-based alignment. Finally, the pose regressor is fine-tuned on mixed real and synthetic data. We evaluate PoseCompass on 7-Scenes, where it reduces adaptation time from 15.2 to 5.1 minutes, a 3x speedup, while cutting median pose errors by 53.8 percent and significantly outperforming random baselines.

HumanSplatHMR: Closing the Loop Between Human Mesh Recovery and Gaussian Splatting Avatar

Accurately recovering human pose and appearance from video is an essential component of scene reconstruction, with applications to motion capture, motion prediction, virtual reality, and digital twinning. Despite significant interest in building realistic human avatars from video, this paper demonstrates that existing methods do not accurately recover the 3D geometry of humans. ViT-based approaches are not consistently reliable and can overfit to 2D views, while NeRF- and Gaussian Splatting-based avatars treat pose and appearance separately, limiting rendering generalization to new poses. To resolve these shortcomings, this paper proposes HumanSplatHMR, a joint optimization framework that refines 3D human poses while simultaneously learning a high-fidelity avatar for novel-view and novel-pose synthesis. Our key insight is to close the loop between geometric pose estimation and differentiable rendering. Unlike prior human avatar methods that rely on accurate human pose obtained through motion capture systems or offline refinement, which are impractical in in-the-wild scenarios, our approach uses only human mesh estimates from a state-of-the-art human pose estimator to better reflect real-world conditions. Therefore, instead of using the human pose only as a deformation prior, HumanSplatHMR backpropagates photometric, segmentation, and depth losses through a differentiable renderer to the pose parameters and global position. This coupling refines the global 3D pose over time, improving accuracy and alignment while producing better renderings from novel views. Experiments show consistent improvements over pose recovery baselines that omit image-level refinement and avatar baselines that decouple pose estimation from avatar reconstruction.

Multivariate Gaussian NeRF for Wide Field-of-View Ultrasound Reconstruction

Wide Field-of-View (WFoV) reconstruction enhances 3D ultrasound imaging by providing valuable anatomical context for segmentation models and visualization. Clinical ultrasound volumes are predominantly acquired using convex probes, which generate expanding, diverging acoustic beams to maximize anatomical coverage. Stitching these sweeps together traditionally introduces significant compounding artifacts and aliasing due to depth-dependent resolution changes. Here, we introduce Ultra-Wide-NeRF, a Multivariate 3D Gaussian (MVG) NeRF-based method for WFoV ultrasound reconstruction. By explicitly modeling the complex beam geometry using distance-dependent convex volumetric sampling and anisotropic 3D Gaussians, our method inherently mitigates these compounding artifacts and provides anti-aliasing. Beyond simply reconstructing a static 3D grid, our NeRF-based approach yields a continuous neural representation of the tissue, enabling the synthesis of high-fidelity novel views from arbitrary virtual trajectories. We validate Ultra-Wide-NeRF for intracardiac echocardiography on phantom and porcine datasets, demonstrating that our method expands the spatial context important in intraoperative navigation. Code will be open-sourced upon publication.

DEVIS-GRPO: Unleashing GRPO on Dynamic Extreme View Synthesis

Trajectory-controlled video generation has become essential for controllable video generation. While current methods perform well under small-view camera motions, they degrade significantly with large-view motions. Existing solutions for extreme-view synthesis typically require dedicated video pairs, demanding substantial annotation effort. To address these limitations, we propose Dynamic Extreme VIew Synthesis-GRPO (DEVIS-GRPO), a GRPO-based framework for trajectory-controlled video generation, the first online policy gradient method for extreme view video generation. Central to our approach is a novel sampling strategy: Accumulative Dynamic Extreme VIew Synthesis (ADEVIS), which achieves large-view camera motions by progressively accumulating small-view increments. This method delivers two key advantages: 1) enhanced training efficiency, as it eliminates the need to warm-start the policy model by collecting expensive paired large-view videos, and 2) increased sampling diversity, achieved by flexibly varying trajectory configurations. Finally, we designed a multi-level consistency-quality reward function to select high-quality samples for model optimization. Experiments on the Kubric-4D, iPhone, and DL3DV datasets demonstrate our method's superiority. On Kubric-4D, we achieve relative improvements of 21.57% in PSNR and 7.31% in SSIM over the second-best method in non-occlusion areas. On iPhone, LPIPS is reduced by 18.56%.

DecoRec: Decomposed 3D Scene Reconstruction from Single-View Images via Object-Level Diffusion

In this paper, we introduce \textit{DecoRec}, a novel system designed to elevate single-view 2D images to a decomposed 3D scene mesh. Current methods for single-view scene reconstruction typically rely on object retrieval or the regression of coarse 3D voxels or surfaces, leading to inaccuracies in capturing the appearance and geometry of the input image. The lack of high-quality large-scale scene-level datasets further complicates direct 3D scene generation from single-view images. To achieve high-quality 3D scene generation from a single-view image, DecoRec takes advantage of recent diffusion-based single-view object reconstruction methods to reconstruct individual objects separately. Subsequently, a refinement pipeline is proposed to effectively merge these reconstructed objects, enhancing appearance and geometry through a differentiable rendering technique and diffusion-guided refinement. Our results demonstrate that DecoRec facilitates high-quality single-view scene reconstruction in both geometry and novel synthesis, offering significant benefits for downstream applications like room interior design.

RealCam: Real-Time Novel-View Video Generation with Interactive Camera Control

Camera-controlled video-to-video (V2V) generation enables dynamic viewpoint synthesis from monocular footage, holding immense potential for interactive filmmaking and live broadcasting. However, existing implicit synthesis methods fundamentally rely on non-causal, full-sequence processing and rigid prefix-style temporal concatenation. This architectural paradigm mandates bidirectional attention, resulting in prohibitive computational latency, quadratic complexity scaling, and inherent incompatibility with real-time streaming or variable-length inputs. To overcome these limitations, we introduce \texttt{RealCam}, a novel autoregressive framework for interactive, real-time camera-controlled V2V generation. We first design a high-fidelity teacher model grounded in a \textbf{Cross-frame In-context Learning} paradigm. By interleaving source and target frames into synchronized contextual pairs, our design inherently enables length-agnostic generalization and naturally facilitates causal adaptation, breaking the rigid prefix bottleneck. We then distill this teacher into a few-step causal student via Self-Forcing with Distribution Matching Distillation, enabling efficient, on-the-fly streaming synthesis. Furthermore, to mitigate severe loop inconsistency in closed-loop trajectories, we propose \textbf{Loop-Closed Data Augmentation (LoopAug)}, a novel paradigm that synthesizes globally consistent loop sequences from existing multiview datasets. Extensive experiments demonstrate that \texttt{RealCam} achieves state-of-the-art visual fidelity and temporal consistency while enabling truly interactive camera control with orders-of-magnitude faster inference than existing paradigms. AnyView: Synthesizing Any Novel View in Dynamic Scenes

Modern generative video models excel at producing convincing, high-quality outputs, but struggle to maintain multi-view and spatiotemporal consistency in highly dynamic real-world environments. In this work, we introduce AnyView\textbf{AnyView}, a diffusion-based video generation framework for dynamic view synthesis\textit{dynamic view synthesis} with minimal inductive biases or geometric assumptions. We leverage multiple data sources with various levels of supervision, including monocular (2D), multi-view static (3D) and multi-view dynamic (4D) datasets, to train a generalist spatiotemporal implicit representation capable of producing zero-shot novel videos from arbitrary camera locations and trajectories. We evaluate AnyView on standard benchmarks, showing competitive results with the current state of the art, and propose AnyViewBench\textbf{AnyViewBench}, a challenging new benchmark tailored towards extreme\textit{extreme} dynamic view synthesis in diverse real-world scenarios. In this more dramatic setting, we find that most baselines drastically degrade in performance, as they require significant overlap between viewpoints, while AnyView maintains the ability to produce realistic, plausible, and spatiotemporally consistent videos when prompted from any\textit{any} viewpoint. From Storage to Experience: A Survey on the Evolution of LLM Agent Memory Mechanisms

Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents have fundamentally reshaped artificial intelligence by integrating external tools and planning capabilities. While memory mechanisms have emerged as the architectural cornerstone of these systems, current research remains fragmented, oscillating between operating system engineering and cognitive science. This theoretical divide prevents a unified view of technological synthesis and a coherent evolutionary perspective. To bridge this gap, this survey proposes a novel evolutionary framework for LLM agent memory mechanisms, formalizing the development process into three stages: Storage (trajectory preservation), Reflection (trajectory refinement), and Experience (trajectory abstraction). We first formally define these three stages before analyzing the three core drivers of this evolution: the necessity for long-range consistency, the challenges in dynamic environments, and the ultimate goal of continual learning. Furthermore, we specifically explore two transformative mechanisms in the frontier Experience stage: proactive exploration and cross-trajectory abstraction. By synthesizing these disparate views, this work offers robust design principles and a clear roadmap for the development of next-generation LLM agents.

Full-4D: Generating Full-Scope 4D Scenes from a Single-View Video

Generating 4D scenes from a single-view video is inherently ill-posed: a single viewpoint lacks the information needed to recover a complete, dynamic scene with full coverage. Existing methods are typically limited to monocular videos, simple 3D effects, or only small viewpoint perturbations around the original viewpoint, falling short of true 4D generation. Meanwhile, the lack of large-scale datasets capturing full-scope 4D scenes with synchronized multi-view videos further hinders progress in this direction. We propose a novel single-view video-to-4D framework that casts full-scope 4D generation as a multi-view video synthesis followed by optimization-based 4D reconstruction from the generated views. To instantiate this formulation end-to-end, we make three key contributions. First, we introduce Real-MV-4D, a large-scale dataset of synchronized multi-view videos captured in diverse real-world environments to provide the 4D supervision. Second, we train a multi-view video diffusion model driven by a novel fused time(T)-view(V) attention mechanism that directly embeds geometric reprojection priors and explicit camera conditioning into its view-time interactions. Unlike basic feature fusion, this direct binding strictly aligns the generation process with physical 3D priors to produce a dense, synchronized T×\times V video grid. Third, rather than relying on non-interactive and inconsistent 2D video interpolations, we lift the synthesized multi-view videos into an explicit 4D representation (i.e. 4DGS), regularized by a Flow Matching Distillation loss that exploits the multi-view prior to improve novel-view rendering. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method outperforms existing approaches in both visual fidelity and geometric consistency, enabling full-scope 4D scene generation from single-view videos.

GaussianZoom: Progressive Zoom-in Generative 3D Gaussian Splatting with Geometric and Semantic Guidance

We introduce GaussianZoom, a generative zoom-in 3D reconstruction system with an iterative progressive framework that combines geometry-consistent scene modeling and multi-scale semantic reasoning to enable high-fidelity extreme zoom-in rendering from low-resolution inputs. To achieve this, we develop a novel multi-view consistent super-resolution module with depth-based feature warping and VLM-driven detail synthesis, ensuring accurate multi-view correspondence while enriching fine-scale appearance beyond the observed resolution. To support zooming across large magnification ranges, we further introduce a new expandable continuous Level-of-Detail hierarchy that dynamically modulates Gaussian visibility for smooth, alias-free cross-scale rendering. Experiments on Mip-NeRF360 and Tanks&Temples demonstrate that GaussianZoom achieves superior perceptual quality, multi-view consistency, and robustness under extreme magnification, establishing a strong baseline for generative zoom-in 3D scene reconstruction.

Embody4D: A Generalist Data Engine for Embodied 4D World Modeling

Embodied agents require robust and comprehensive 3D spatiotemporal representations to support spatial reasoning, manipulation understanding, and downstream decision making. However, existing robot data are typically captured from fixed or sparse viewpoints, providing only partial and view-dependent observations, which limits multi-view perception and generalization across viewpoints. Given the difficulty of collecting additional viewpoints in real-world settings, we propose Embody4D, a dedicated video-to-video world model for embodied scenarios to bridge this observation gap by transforming a monocular robot video into novel-view videos from flexible target camera viewpoints. First, to tackle training data scarcity, we introduce a 3D-aware compositional synthesis pipeline to curate a heterogeneous dataset compositing cross-embodiment robotic arms with diverse backgrounds, promoting broad generalization. Second, to enforce geometric stability, we devise a latent confidence-aware expert modulation strategy, which estimates the reliability of warped latent priors and adaptively routes regions to copy, repair, or inpaint experts for spatiotemporally consistent 4D generation. Finally, to enhance the fidelity of the manipulation, we incorporate an interaction-aware attention mechanism that explicitly attends to the robotic interaction regions. Extensive experiments show that Embody4D achieves state-of-the-art performance on visual evaluation benchmarks, while both simulated and real-world robotic experiments further demonstrate its effectiveness as a robust data engine for synthesizing high-fidelity, view-consistent videos that empower downstream robotic planning and learning.

UniSpine-GS: An Efficient Physics-Aware Gaussian Framework for Cross-Modality Multi-view Spine Image Synthesis

The diagnosis of spinal diseases is often assisted by 3D imaging techniques in clinical practice. However, precise 3D spinal assessment is limited by the high costs of 3D imaging hardware and the challenges posed by the physical differences between imaging modalities, which hinder the generalizability of models. To address these issues, we propose UniSpine-GS, an efficient, physics-aware Gaussian framework designed for novel-view projection rendering in multi-view spine imaging via a 3D-aware representation. Instead of performing explicit 3D reconstruction, our approach learns a geometry-aware Gaussian representation that ensures anatomical consistency across different views. We introduce SPWM, a structure-guided loss reweighting strategy to improve boundary fidelity and local details. We evaluate our method on the CTSpine3D dataset and a newly constructed 3D fetal ultrasound dataset, FeSpine3D. Learning 3D-Gaussian Simulators from RGB Videos

Realistic simulation is critical for applications ranging from robotics to animation. Learned simulators have emerged as a possibility to capture real world physics directly from video data, but very often require privileged information such as depth information, particle tracks and hand-engineered features to maintain spatial and temporal consistency. These strong inductive biases or ground truth 3D information help in domains where data is sparse but limit scalability and generalization in data rich regimes. To overcome the key limitations, we propose 3DGSim, a learned 3D simulator that directly learns physical interactions from multi-view RGB videos. 3DGSim unifies 3D scene reconstruction, particle dynamics prediction and video synthesis into an end-to-end trained framework. It adopts MVSplat to learn a latent particle-based representation of 3D scenes, a Point Transformer for particle dynamics, a Temporal Merging module for consistent temporal aggregation and Gaussian Splatting to produce novel view renderings. By jointly training inverse rendering and dynamics forecasting, 3DGSim embeds the physical properties into point-wise latent features. This enables the model to capture diverse physical behaviors, from rigid to elastic, cloth-like dynamics, and boundary conditions (e.g. fixed cloth corner), along with realistic lighting effects that also generalize to unseen multibody interactions and novel scene edits.

HandSplatter: Automated Digital Goniometry from Neural Rendering

Hand and finger disorders are leading contributors to musculoskeletal disability, creating a clinical need for precise methods to quantify joint motion. Range of motion (ROM) serves as the metric for diagnosis, rehabilitation monitoring, and evaluating surgical outcomes. Currently, the goniometer is the standard tool for assessing finger flexion and extension. However, manual goniometry is labor-intensive and suffers from inconsistent inter-rater reliability due to variations in examiner technique. While digital alternatives exist, current software-based approaches often lack the necessary accuracy for clinical usage. To address these limitations, we present a novel pipeline for 3-D hand joint location and pose estimation using neural rendering. Unlike previous methods, our approach combines 2-D feature extraction with view synthesis to significantly improve accuracy and clinical viability. Furthermore, we introduce a discrete density hill climbing algorithm that facilitates the meaningful correction of projected landmarks in 3-D space. This system overcomes the inefficiencies of manual measurement and the inaccuracies of existing software, providing a robust tool for objective functional assessment.

MammoFlow: Multiview Mammogram Synthesis with Anatomically Consistent Flow Matching

Multiview mammography relies on paired craniocaudal (CC) and mediolateral oblique (MLO) views to provide complementary projections of a 3D breast volume, enabling precise anomaly localization. However, acquiring high-quality, balanced datasets remains challenging for deep learning applications. We propose a novel method to synthesize multiview mammograms by leveraging the inherent geometric relationship between CC and MLO views. To enforce an implicit 3D consistency prior during generation, we develop an alignment module that searches a 2D affine transformation subspace to establish optimal anatomical correspondence. Leveraging this alignment, we introduce a pixel-space self-consistency loss based on the Earth Mover's Distance (EMD) between the 1D anteroposterior (AP) axis tissue distributions of the generated images. Integrated into a pretrained flow matching model, MammoFlow forces synthesized pairs to share physically plausible tissue distributions from the chest wall to the nipple. To our knowledge, this is the first work to guide multiview mammogram generation using implicit geometric tissue correspondence. Our method demonstrates superior image quality, passes expert radiologist evaluation, and generates physically consistent pairs that improve downstream classification AUC by 5%. Zero-Shot Novel Depth Synthesis Using 3D Foundation Models Scene Representations

3D Foundation Models (3DFMs) such as VGGT have recently pushed the boundaries of 3D vision by predicting rich unified representations with feed-foward transformers. The scene representations learned by these models enable strong performance on multiple 3D vision tasks. In this paper, we investigate using their internal representations to infer 3D in the scene from new views. Our hypothesis is that in order to solve the task of 3D reconstruction, these models need to learn a representation that includes a large amount of general knowledge about 3D scenes. After showing that it is possible to decode hidden surfaces from internal 3DFM representations, we propose a method, Z3D, that estimates pointmaps in unseen views by doing latent diffusion on 3DFM representation. We show that Z3D can predict realistic depth maps for new views across multiple datasets.
