Privatar: Scalable Privacy-preserving Multi-user VR via Secure Offloading

Multi-user virtual reality enables immersive interaction. However, rendering avatars for numerous participants on each headset incurs prohibitive computational overhead, limiting scalability. We introduce a framework, Privatar, to offload avatar reconstruction from headset to untrusted devices within the same local network while safeguarding attacks against adversaries capable of intercepting offloaded data. Privatar's key insight is that domain-specific knowledge of avatar reconstruction enables provably private offloading at minimal cost. (1) System level. We observe avatar reconstruction is frequency-domain decomposable via BDCT with negligible quality drop, and propose Horizontal Partitioning (HP) to keep high-energy frequency components on-device and offloads only low-energy components. HP offloads local computation while reducing information leakage to low-energy subsets only. (2) Privacy level. For individually offloaded, multi-dimensional signals without aggregation, worst-case local Differential Privacy requires prohibitive noise, ruining utility. We observe users' expression statistical distribution are slowly changing over time and trackable online, and hence propose Distribution-Aware Minimal Perturbation. DAMP minimizes noise based on each user's expression distribution to significantly reduce its effects on utility, retaining formal privacy guarantee. Combined, HP provides empirical privacy against expression identification attacks. DAMP further augments it to offer a formal guarantee against arbitrary adversaries. On a Meta Quest Pro, Privatar supports 2.37x more concurrent users at 6.5% higher reconstruction loss and 9% energy overhead, providing a better throughout-loss Pareto frontier over quantization, sparsity and local construction baselines. Privatar provides both provable privacy guarantee and stays robust against both empirical and NN-based attacks.

UniMesh: Unifying 3D Mesh Understanding and Generation

Recent advances in 3D vision have led to specialized models for either 3D understanding (e.g., shape classification, segmentation, reconstruction) or 3D generation (e.g., synthesis, completion, and editing). However, these tasks are often tackled in isolation, resulting in fragmented architectures and representations that hinder knowledge transfer and holistic scene modeling. To address these challenges, we propose UniMesh, a unified framework that jointly learns 3D generation and understanding within a single architecture. First, we introduce a novel Mesh Head that acts as a cross model interface, bridging diffusion based image generation with implicit shape decoders. Second, we develop Chain of Mesh (CoM), a geometric instantiation of iterative reasoning that enables user driven semantic mesh editing through a closed loop latent, prompting, and re generation cycle. Third, we incorporate a self reflection mechanism based on an Actor Evaluator Self reflection triad to diagnose and correct failures in high level tasks like 3D captioning. Experimental results demonstrate that UniMesh not only achieves competitive performance on standard benchmarks but also unlocks novel capabilities in iterative editing and mutual enhancement between generation and understanding. DGHMesh: A Large-scale Dual-radar mmWave Dataset and Generalization-focused Benchmark for Human Mesh Reconstruction

Millimeter-wave (mmWave) radar has shown great potential for contactless, privacy-preserving, and robust human sensing, yet existing mmWave-based human mesh reconstruction (HMR) studies are still limited by the lack of benchmarks for generalization analysis under configuration shifts and fair comparison of different algorithms. To address the limitation, we present DGHMesh, a large-scale dual-radar mmWave dataset and generalization-focused benchmark for HMR. It contains data from 15 subjects performing 8 actions, with 360,000 synchronized frames collected from FMCW radar, SFCW radar, RGB images, and high-precision 3D HMR annotations. In addition, the dataset provides synchronized raw I/Q data from both radar modalities and accurately calibrated radar spatial positions. The benchmark is designed to evaluate HMR methods under diverse measurement configurations, including human position shifts, human orientation shifts, subarray size variations, and cross-subject settings. Based on DGHMesh, we also propose mmPTM, a query-based multi-radar fusion framework that jointly exploits point clouds and imaging tubes for HMR. Extensive experiments are conducted against representative baselines under different settings. The results demonstrate that mmPTM consistently achieves outstanding accuracy and competitive generalization capability across multiple sub-benchmarks, validating the effectiveness of multi-radar fusion and the practical value of the proposed dataset and benchmark for mmWave-based HMR research. DGHMesh and mmPTM are publicly available at https://github.com/SPIresearch/DGHMesh.(The complete benchmark and code will be released after paper publication)

EmbodiedHead: Real-Time Listening and Speaking Avatar for Conversational Agents

We present EmbodiedHead, a speech-driven talking-head framework that equips LLMs with real-time visual avatars for conversation. A practical embodied avatar must achieve real-time generation, unified listening-speaking behavior, and high rendered visual quality simultaneously. Our framework couples the first Rectified-Flow Diffusion Transformer (DiT) for this task with a differentiable renderer, enabling diverse, high-fidelity generation in as few as four sampling steps. Prior listening-speaking methods rely on dual-stream audio, introducing an interlocutor look-ahead dependency incompatible with causal user--LLM interaction. We instead adopt a single-stream interface with explicit per-frame listening-speaking state conditioning and a Streaming Audio Scheduler, suppressing spurious mouth motion during listening while enabling seamless turn-taking. A two-stage training scheme of coefficient-space pretraining and joint image-domain refinement further closes the gap between motion-level supervision and rendered quality. Extensive experiments demonstrate state-of-the-art visual quality and motion fidelity in both speaking and listening scenarios.

CLOTH-HUGS: Cloth Aware Human Gaussian Splatting

We present Cloth-HUGS, a Gaussian Splatting based neural rendering framework for photorealistic clothed human reconstruction that explicitly disentangles body and clothing. Unlike prior methods that absorb clothing into a single body representation and struggle with loose garments and complex deformations, Cloth-HUGS represents the performer using separate Gaussian layers for body and cloth within a shared canonical space. The canonical volume jointly encodes body, cloth, and scene primitives and is deformed through SMPL-driven articulation with learned linear blend skinning weights. To improve cloth realism, we initialize cloth Gaussians from mesh topology and apply physics-inspired constraints, including simulation-consistency, ARAP regularization, and mask supervision. We further introduce a depth-aware multi-pass rendering strategy for robust body-cloth-scene compositing, enabling real-time rendering at over 60 FPS. Experiments on multiple benchmarks show that Cloth-HUGS improves perceptual quality and geometric fidelity over state-of-the-art baselines, reducing LPIPS by up to 28% while producing temporally coherent cloth dynamics.

AHS: Adaptive Head Synthesis via Synthetic Data Augmentations

Recent digital media advancements have created increasing demands for sophisticated portrait manipulation techniques, particularly head swapping, where one's head is seamlessly integrated with another's body. However, current approaches predominantly rely on face-centered cropped data with limited view angles, significantly restricting their real-world applicability. They struggle with diverse head expressions, varying hairstyles, and natural blending beyond facial regions. To address these limitations, we propose Adaptive Head Synthesis (AHS), which effectively handles full upper-body images with varied head poses and expressions. AHS incorporates a novel head reenacted synthetic data augmentation strategy to overcome self-supervised training constraints, enhancing generalization across diverse facial expressions and orientations without requiring paired training data. Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that AHS achieves superior performance in challenging real-world scenarios, producing visually coherent results that preserve identity and expression fidelity across various head orientations and hairstyles. Notably, AHS shows exceptional robustness in maintaining facial identity while drastic expression changes and faithfully preserving accessories while significant head pose variations.

G-PARC: Graph-Physics Aware Recurrent Convolutional Neural Networks for Spatiotemporal Dynamics on Unstructured Meshes

Physics-aware recurrent convolutional networks (PARC) have demonstrated strong performance in predicting nonlinear spatiotemporal dynamics by embedding differential operators directly into the computational graph of a neural network. However, pixel-based convolutions are restricted to static, uniform Cartesian grids, making them ill-suited to following evolving localized structures in an efficient manner. Graph neural networks (GNNs) naturally handle irregular spatial discretizations, but existing graph-based physics-aware deep learning (PADL) methods have difficulty handling extreme nonlinear regimes. To address these limitations, we propose Graph PARC (G-PARC), which uses moving least squares (MLS) kernels to approximate spatial derivatives on unstructured graphs, and embeds the derivatives of governing partial differential equations into the network's computational graph. G-PARC achieves better accuracy with 2-3x fewer parameters than MeshGraphNet, MeshGraphKAN, and GraphSAGE, replacing the traditional encoder-processor-decoder framework with analytically computed differential operators. We demonstrate that G-PARC (1) generalizes across nonuniform spatial and temporal discretizations; (2) handles moving meshes required for structural deformation; and (3) outperforms existing graph-based PADL methods on nonlinear benchmarks including fluvial hydrology, planar shock waves, and elastoplastic dynamics. By embedding explicit physical operators within the flexibility of GNNs, G-PARC enables accurate modeling of extreme nonlinear phenomena on complex computational domains, moving PADLbeyond idealized Cartesian grids.

Generative Data Augmentation for Skeleton Action Recognition

Skeleton-based human action recognition is a powerful approach for understanding human behaviour from pose data, but collecting large-scale, diverse, and well-annotated 3D skeleton datasets is both expensive and labor-intensive. To address this challenge, we propose a conditional generative pipeline for data augmentation in skeleton action recognition. Our method learns the distribution of real skeleton sequences under the constraint of action labels, enabling the synthesis of diverse and high-fidelity data. Even with limited training samples, it can effectively generate skeleton sequences and achieve competitive recognition performance in low-data scenarios, demonstrating strong generalisation in downstream tasks. Specifically, we introduce a Transformer-based encoder-decoder architecture, combined with a generative refinement module and a dropout mechanism, to balance fidelity and diversity during sampling. Experiments on HumanAct12 and the refined NTU-RGBD (NTU-VIBE) dataset show that our approach consistently improves the accuracy of multiple skeleton-based action recognition models, validating its effectiveness in both few-shot and full-data settings. STEP-Parts: Geometric Partitioning of Boundary Representations for Large-Scale CAD Processing

Many CAD learning pipelines discretize Boundary Representations (B-Reps) into triangle meshes, discarding analytic surface structure and topological adjacency and thereby weakening consistent instance-level analysis. We present STEP-Parts, a deterministic CAD-to-supervision toolchain that extracts geometric instance partitions directly from raw STEP B-Reps and transfers them to tessellated carriers through retained source-face correspondence, yielding instance labels and metadata for downstream learning and evaluation. The construction merges adjacent B-Rep faces only when they share the same analytic primitive type and satisfy a near-tangent continuity criterion. On ABC, same-primitive dihedral angles are strongly bimodal, yielding a threshold-insensitive low-angle regime for part extraction. Because the partition is defined on intrinsic B-Rep topology rather than on a particular triangulation, the resulting boundaries remain stable under changes in tessellation. Applied to the DeepCAD subset of ABC, the pipeline processes approximately 180{,}000 models in under six hours on a consumer CPU. We release code and precomputed labels, and show that STEP-Parts serves both as a tessellation-robust geometric reference and as a useful supervision source in two downstream probes: an implicit reconstruction--segmentation network and a dataset-level point-based backbone.

One-shot Compositional 3D Head Avatars with Deformable Hair

We propose a compositional method for constructing a complete 3D head avatar from a single image. Prior one-shot holistic approaches frequently fail to produce realistic hair dynamics during animation, largely due to inadequate decoupling of hair from the facial region, resulting in entangled geometry and unnatural deformations. Our method explicitly decouples hair from the face, modeling these components using distinct deformation paradigms while integrating them into a unified rendering pipeline. Furthermore, by leveraging image-to-3D lifting techniques, we preserve fine-grained textures from the input image to the greatest extent possible, effectively mitigating the common issue of high-frequency information loss in generalized models. Specifically, given a frontal portrait image, we first perform hair removal to obtain a bald image. Both the original image and the bald image are then lifted to dense, detail-rich 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) representations. For the bald 3DGS, we rig it to a FLAME mesh via non-rigid registration with a prior model, enabling natural deformation that follows the mesh triangles during animation. For the hair component, we employ semantic label supervision combined with a boundary-aware reassignment strategy to extract a clean and isolated set of hair Gaussians. To control hair deformation, we introduce a cage structure that supports Position-Based Dynamics (PBD) simulation, allowing realistic and physically plausible transformations of the hair Gaussian primitives under head motion, gravity, and inertial effects. Striking qualitative results, including dynamic animations under diverse head motions, gravity effects, and expressions, showcase substantially more realistic hair behavior alongside faithfully preserved facial details, outperforming state-of-the-art one-shot methods in perceptual realism.

TurboTalk: Progressive Distillation for One-Step Audio-Driven Talking Avatar Generation

Existing audio-driven video digital human generation models rely on multi-step denoising, resulting in substantial computational overhead that severely limits their deployment in real-world settings. While one-step distillation approaches can significantly accelerate inference, they often suffer from training instability. To address this challenge, we propose TurboTalk, a two-stage progressive distillation framework that effectively compresses a multi-step audio-driven video diffusion model into a single-step generator. We first adopt Distribution Matching Distillation to obtain a strong and stable 4-step student, and then progressively reduce the denoising steps from 4 to 1 through adversarial distillation. To ensure stable training under extreme step reduction, we introduce a progressive timestep sampling strategy and a self-compare adversarial objective that provides an intermediate adversarial reference that stabilizes progressive distillation. Our method achieve single-step generation of video talking avatar, boosting inference speed by 120 times while maintaining high generation quality.

Giving Faces Their Feelings Back: Explicit Emotion Control for Feedforward Single-Image 3D Head Avatars

We present a framework for explicit emotion control in feed-forward, single-image 3D head avatar reconstruction. Unlike existing pipelines where emotion is implicitly entangled with geometry or appearance, we treat emotion as a first-class control signal that can be manipulated independently and consistently across identities. Our method injects emotion into existing feed-forward architectures via a dual-path modulation mechanism without modifying their core design. Geometry modulation performs emotion-conditioned normalization in the original parametric space, disentangling emotional state from speech-driven articulation, while appearance modulation captures identity-aware, emotion-dependent visual cues beyond geometry. To enable learning under this setting, we construct a time-synchronized, emotion-consistent multi-identity dataset by transferring aligned emotional dynamics across identities. Integrated into multiple state-of-the-art backbones, our framework preserves reconstruction and reenactment fidelity while enabling controllable emotion transfer, disentangled manipulation, and smooth emotion interpolation, advancing expressive and scalable 3D head avatars.

WorldMesh: Generating Navigable Multi-Room 3D Scenes via Mesh-Conditioned Image Diffusion

Recent progress in image and video synthesis has inspired their use in advancing 3D scene generation. However, we observe that text-to-image and -video approaches struggle to maintain scene- and object-level consistency beyond a limited environment scale without a persistent, explicit geometric representation. We thus present a geometry-first approach that decouples this complex problem of large-scale 3D scene synthesis into its structural composition, represented as a mesh scaffold, and realistic appearance synthesis, which leverages powerful image synthesis models conditioned on the mesh scaffold. From an input text description, we first construct a mesh capturing the environment's geometry (walls, floors, etc.), and then use image synthesis, segmentation and object reconstruction to populate the mesh structure with objects in realistic layouts. This mesh scaffold is then rendered to condition image synthesis, providing a structural backbone for consistent appearance generation. This enables scalable, arbitrarily-sized 3D scenes of high object richness and diversity, combining robust 3D consistency with photorealistic detail. We believe this marks a significant step toward generating truly environment-scale, immersive 3D worlds.

AHOY! Animatable Humans under Occlusion from YouTube Videos with Gaussian Splatting and Video Diffusion Priors

We present AHOY, a method for reconstructing complete, animatable 3D Gaussian avatars from in-the-wild monocular video despite heavy occlusion. Existing methods assume unoccluded input-a fully visible subject, often in a canonical pose-excluding the vast majority of real-world footage where people are routinely occluded by furniture, objects, or other people. Reconstructing from such footage poses fundamental challenges: large body regions may never be observed, and multi-view supervision per pose is unavailable. We address these challenges with four contributions: (i) a hallucination-as-supervision pipeline that uses identity-finetuned diffusion models to generate dense supervision for previously unobserved body regions; (ii) a two-stage canonical-to-pose-dependent architecture that bootstraps from sparse observations to full pose-dependent Gaussian maps; (iii) a map-pose/LBS-pose decoupling that absorbs multi-view inconsistencies from the generated data; (iv) a head/body split supervision strategy that preserves facial identity. We evaluate on YouTube videos and on multi-view capture data with significant occlusion and demonstrate state-of-the-art reconstruction quality. We also demonstrate that the resulting avatars are robust enough to be animated with novel poses and composited into 3DGS scenes captured using cell-phone video. Neural Image Space Tessellation effect

We present Neural Image Space Tessellation effect (NIST), a lightweight screen-space post-processing approach for reducing the faceted silhouettes of low-poly renderings. Instead of tessellating primitives, creating new geometry, or modifying the underlying mesh, NIST uses the low-poly rendering result together with simple auxiliary G-buffer attributes to learn geometry-guided smoothing of object contours in image space. At its core, NIST first deforms image-space contours implicitly and then learns to reassign appearance in the whole image-space, including the deformed regions, preserving texture continuity and avoiding seam artifacts. Experiments show that NIST reduces visually apparent geometric faceting and produces smooth, coherent silhouettes close to tessellation-based smoothing references, with a nearly constant per-frame cost in our tested settings. To the best of our knowledge, NIST is the first work to move the solution of low-poly silhouette faceting from the pre-rendering geometry stage to a post-rendering screen-space stage.

Transolver-3: Scaling Up Transformer Solvers to Industrial-Scale Geometries

Deep learning has emerged as a transformative tool for the neural surrogate modeling of partial differential equations (PDEs), known as neural PDE solvers. However, scaling these solvers to industrial-scale geometries with over 10810^8 cells remains a fundamental challenge due to the prohibitive memory complexity of processing high-resolution meshes. We present Transolver-3, a new member of the Transolver family as a highly scalable framework designed for high-fidelity physics simulations. To bridge the gap between limited GPU capacity and the resolution requirements of complex engineering tasks, we introduce two key architectural optimizations: faster slice and deslice by exploiting matrix multiplication associative property and geometry slice tiling to partition the computation of physical states. Combined with an amortized training strategy by learning on random subsets of original high-resolution meshes and a physical state caching technique during inference, Transolver-3 enables high-fidelity field prediction on industrial-scale meshes. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Transolver-3 can handle meshes with over 160 million cells, achieving impressive performance across three challenging simulation benchmarks, including aircraft and automotive design tasks. VecSet-Edit: Unleashing Pre-trained LRM for Mesh Editing from Single Image

3D editing has emerged as a critical research area to provide users with flexible control over 3D assets. While current editing approaches predominantly focus on 3D Gaussian Splatting or multi-view images, the direct editing of 3D meshes remains underexplored. Prior attempts, such as VoxHammer, rely on voxel-based representations that suffer from limited resolution and necessitate labor-intensive 3D mask. To address these limitations, we propose \textbf{VecSet-Edit}, the first pipeline that leverages the high-fidelity VecSet Large Reconstruction Model (LRM) as a backbone for mesh editing. Our approach is grounded on a analysis of the spatial properties in VecSet tokens, revealing that token subsets govern distinct geometric regions. Based on this insight, we introduce Mask-guided Token Seeding and Attention-aligned Token Gating strategies to precisely localize target regions using only 2D image conditions. Also, considering the difference between VecSet diffusion process versus voxel we design a Drift-aware Token Pruning to reject geometric outliers during the denoising process. Finally, our Detail-preserving Texture Baking module ensures that we not only preserve the geometric details of original mesh but also the textural information. On the Role of Rotation Equivariance in Monocular 2D-to-3D Human Pose Lifting

We consider monocular 3D human pose estimation (HPE), where the goal is to predict 3D human skeletal joints from a single 2D image, typically via 2D keypoint detection followed by 2D-to-3D lifting. Despite their success, we find that current lifting models exhibit strong performance degradation under rotations. We systematically study rotation equivariance across lifting architectures with increasing degrees of equivariant inductive bias, and investigate whether equivariance should be enforced by architectural design or learned from data, given the inherent ambiguity of monocular 2D-to-3D lifting. Utilising common HPE benchmarks, we demonstrate that rotation equivariance can be effectively learned via rotation-based data augmentation applied jointly to input and output poses. Compared with non-augmented models, this reduces error on rotated poses by over 30% across the benchmarks, with reductions of up to 72%. Moreover, augmentation-based models achieve up to 15% lower error than methods that are fully equivariant by design, while providing up to 37×\times faster inference. We further show that these findings generalise to real-world human pose sequences involving full-body rotations and to a state-of-the-art HPE model.

One-Shot Feed-Forward 360∘^{\circ} Animatable Avatar via Inpainted UV-Space Gaussian Modeling

Building one-shot 3D animatable head avatars is an important yet challenging problem. Existing methods generally collapse under large camera pose variations, compromising the realism of 3D avatars. In this work, we propose a new framework to tackle the novel setting of one-shot 3D full-head animatable avatar reconstruction in a single forward pass via inpainted UV-space Gaussian modeling, enabling 360∘^\circ rendering views and real-time animation. To facilitate efficient animation control, we model 3D head avatars with Gaussian primitives embedded on the surface of a parametric face model within the UV space, and project the input image features to the UV space, resulting in incomplete local UV feature maps. To inpaint the missing regions, we obtain knowledge of full-head geometry and textures from rich 3D full-head priors within a pretrained 3D generative adversarial network (GAN) for global full-head feature extraction and multi-view supervision. Specifically, to enhance the fidelity of 3D reconstruction during inpainting, we take advantage of the symmetric nature of the UV space and human faces to fuse incomplete yet detailed local UV feature maps with the extracted global full-head textures, resulting in inpainted UV Gaussian attribute maps for avatar modeling. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method is the first to achieve high-quality 3D full-head animatable avatar modeling, significantly improving side and back views while outperforming state-of-the-art animation approaches, thereby improving the realism of 3D animatable avatars.

PGOT: A Physics-Geometry Operator Transformer for Complex PDEs

While Transformers have demonstrated remarkable potential in modeling Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), modeling large-scale unstructured meshes with complex geometries remains a significant challenge. Existing efficient architectures often employ feature dimensionality reduction strategies, which inadvertently induces Geometric Aliasing, resulting in the loss of critical physical boundary information. To address this, we propose the Physics-Geometry Operator Transformer (PGOT), designed to reconstruct physical feature learning through explicit geometry awareness. Specifically, we propose Spectrum-Preserving Geometric Attention (SpecGeo-Attention). Utilizing a ``physics slicing-geometry injection" mechanism, this module incorporates multi-scale geometric encodings to explicitly preserve multi-scale geometric features while maintaining linear computational complexity O(N)O(N). Furthermore, PGOT dynamically routes computations to low-order linear paths for smooth regions and high-order non-linear paths for shock waves and discontinuities based on spatial coordinates, enabling spatially adaptive and high-precision physical field modeling. PGOT achieves consistent state-of-the-art performance across four standard benchmarks and excels in large-scale industrial tasks including airfoil and car designs.

Pro-Pose: Unpaired Full-Body Portrait Synthesis via Canonical UV Maps

Photographs of people taken by professional photographers typically present the person in beautiful lighting, with an interesting pose, and flattering quality. This is unlike common photos people take of themselves in uncontrolled conditions. In this paper, we explore how to canonicalize a person's 'in-the-wild' photograph into a controllable, high-fidelity avatar -- reposed in a simple environment with standardized minimal clothing. A key challenge is preserving the person's unique whole-body identity, facial features, and body shape while stripping away the complex occlusions of their original garments. While a large paired dataset of the same person in varied clothing and poses would simplify this, such data does not exist. To that end, we propose two key insights: 1) Our method transforms the input photo into a canonical full-body UV space, which we couple with a novel reposing methodology to model occlusions and synthesize novel views. Operating in UV space allows us to decouple pose from appearance and leverage massive unpaired datasets. 2) We personalize the output photo via multi-image finetuning to ensure robust identity preservation under extreme pose changes. Our approach yields high-quality, reposed portraits that achieve strong quantitative performance on real-world imagery, providing an ideal, clean biometric canvas that significantly improves the fidelity of downstream applications like Virtual Try-On (VTO).

Instant Expressive Gaussian Head Avatars at Over 100 FPS

Portrait animation has witnessed tremendous quality improvements thanks to recent advances in video diffusion models. However, these 2D methods often compromise 3D consistency and speed, limiting their applicability in real-world scenarios, such as digital twins or telepresence. In contrast, 3D-aware feedforward facial animation methods -- built upon 3D representations, such as neural radiance fields or Gaussian splatting -- ensure 3D consistency and achieve faster inference speed, but come with inferior expression details. In this paper, we address this portrait animation trilemma (speed, 3D consistency, and expressiveness) and propose a pipeline that instantly converts an in-the-wild single image into a 3D-consistent, fast yet expressive animatable representation via a feed-forward encoder. Unlike previous computationally intensive global fusion mechanisms (e.g., multiple attention layers) for fusing 3D structural and animation information, our design employs an efficient lightweight local fusion strategy to achieve high animation expressivity. Furthermore, our animation representation is decoupled from the face's 3D representation and learns motion implicitly from data, eliminating the dependency on pre-defined parametric models that often constrain animation capabilities. Our method runs at 107.31 FPS for animation and pose control, representing a 3-4 order of magnitude speedup versus the state of the art while achieving comparable animation quality, thus surpassing alternative designs that trade speed for quality or vice versa.

AGORA: Adversarial Generation Of Real-time Animatable 3D Gaussian Head Avatars

The generation of high-fidelity, animatable 3D human avatars remains a core challenge in computer graphics and vision, with applications in VR, telepresence, and entertainment. Existing approaches based on implicit representations like NeRFs suffer from slow rendering and dynamic inconsistencies, while 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) methods are typically limited to static head generation, lacking dynamic control. We bridge this gap by introducing AGORA, a novel framework that extends 3DGS within a generative adversarial network to produce animatable avatars. Our key contribution is a lightweight, FLAME-conditioned deformation branch that predicts per-Gaussian residuals, enabling identity-preserving, fine-grained expression control while allowing real-time inference. Identity is further preserved through spatial shape conditioning of the identity branch, and expression fidelity is enforced via a dual-discriminator training scheme leveraging synthetic renderings of the parametric mesh. AGORA generates avatars that are not only visually realistic but also precisely controllable. Quantitatively, we outperform state-of-the-art NeRF-based methods on expression accuracy while rendering at 250 FPS on a single GPU and, notably, at ∼\sim9 FPS under CPU-only inference -- to our knowledge the first demonstration of CPU-only animatable 3DGS avatar synthesis. This work represents a significant step toward practical, high-performance digital humans. Project website: https://ramazan793.github.io/AGORA/

StyleFusion360: View-Consistent Head Stylization via Adaptive Style Modulation

3D head stylization enables expressive reimagining of human faces for creative visual experiences in digital media. Existing 3D-aware methods often require computationally intensive optimization or per-style fine-tuning, limiting flexibility and user control. To overcome these challenges, we introduce StyleFusion360, a diffusion-based framework for multi-view consistent, identity-preserving 3D head stylization from a single style reference image, without per-style training. Our approach enhances the Style Fusion Attention mechanism with a style-conditioned key modulation mechanism that aligns content and style representations for fine-grained and controllable stylization. We further provide a user-controllable slider for adjusting stylization intensity. In addition, StyleFusion360 supports local multi-edit stylization, enabling targeted edits such as modifying hair or eyes independently. Extensive experiments on FFHQ and RenderMe360 demonstrate that StyleFusion360 produces high-quality, controllable, and visually compelling stylizations, outperforming state-of-the-art GAN- and diffusion-based methods across diverse style domains.

SKEL-CF: Coarse-to-Fine Biomechanical Skeleton and Surface Mesh Recovery

Parametric 3D human models such as SMPL have driven significant advances in human pose and shape estimation, yet their simplified kinematics limit biomechanical realism. The recently proposed SKEL model addresses this limitation by re-rigging SMPL with an anatomically accurate skeleton. However, estimating SKEL parameters directly remains challenging due to limited training data, perspective ambiguities, and the inherent complexity of human articulation. We introduce SKEL-CF, a coarse-to-fine framework for SKEL parameter estimation. SKEL-CF employs a transformer-based encoder-decoder architecture, where the encoder predicts coarse camera and SKEL parameters, and the decoder progressively refines them in successive layers. To ensure anatomically consistent supervision, we convert the existing SMPL-based dataset 4DHuman into a SKEL-aligned version, 4DHuman-SKEL, providing high-quality training data for SKEL estimation. In addition, to mitigate depth and scale ambiguities, we explicitly incorporate camera modeling into the SKEL-CF pipeline and demonstrate its importance across diverse viewpoints. Extensive experiments validate the effectiveness of the proposed design. On the challenging MOYO dataset, SKEL-CF achieves 85.0 MPJPE / 51.4 PA-MPJPE, significantly outperforming the previous SKEL-based state-of-the-art HSMR (104.5 / 79.6). End-to-End 4D Heart Mesh Recovery Across Full-Stack and Sparse Cardiac MRI

Reconstructing cardiac motion from CMR sequences is critical for diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention. Existing methods rely on complete CMR stacks to infer full heart motion, limiting their applicability during intervention when only sparse observations are available. We present TetHeart, the first end-to-end framework for unified 4D heart mesh recovery from both offline full-stack and intra-procedural sparse-slice observations. Our method leverages deformable tetrahedra to capture shape and motion in a coherent space shared across cardiac structures. Before a procedure, it initializes detailed, patient-specific heart meshes from high-quality full stacks, which can then be updated using whatever slices can be obtained in real-time, down to a single one during the procedure. TetHeart incorporates several key innovations: (i) an attentive slice-adaptive 2D-3D feature assembly mechanism that integrates information from arbitrary numbers of slices at any position; (ii) a distillation strategy to ensure accurate reconstruction under extreme sparsity; and (iii) a weakly supervised motion learning scheme requiring annotations only at keyframes, such as the end-diastolic and end-systolic phases. Trained and validated on three large public datasets and evaluated zero-shot on additional private interventional and public datasets without retraining, TetHeart achieves state-of-the-art accuracy and strong generalization in both pre- and intra-procedural settings. Code and dataset is available at https://github.com/Scalsol/TetHeart.

MetricHMSR:Metric Human Mesh and Scene Recovery from Monocular Images

We introduce MetricHMSR, a novel framework for recovering metric human meshes and 3D scenes from a single monocular image. Existing methods struggle to recover metric scale due to monocular scale ambiguity and weak-perspective camera assumptions. Moreover, their fully coupled feature representations make it difficult to disentangle local pose from global translation, often requiring multi-stage pipelines that introduce accumulated errors. To address these challenges, we propose MetricHMR (Metric Human Mesh Recovery), which incorporates a bounding camera ray map representation to provide explicit metric cues for human reconstruction, together with a Human Mixture-of-Experts (HumanMoE) that dynamically routes image features to specialized experts, enabling the disentangled perception of local human pose and global metric position. Leveraging the recovered metric human as a geometric anchor, we further refine monocular metric depth estimation to achieve more accurate 3D alignment between humans and scenes.Comprehensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on both human mesh recovery and metric human-scene reconstruction. SEGA: Drivable 3D Gaussian Head Avatar from a Single Image

Creating photorealistic 3D head avatars from limited input has become increasingly important for applications in virtual reality, telepresence, and digital entertainment. While recent advances like neural rendering and 3D Gaussian splatting have enabled high-quality digital human avatar creation and animation, most methods rely on multiple images or multi-view inputs, limiting their practicality for real-world use. In this paper, we propose SEGA, a novel approach for Single-imagE-based 3D drivable Gaussian head Avatar creation that combines generalized prior models with a new hierarchical UV-space Gaussian Splatting framework. SEGA seamlessly combines priors derived from large-scale 2D datasets with 3D priors learned from multi-view, multi-expression, and multi-ID data, achieving robust generalization to unseen identities while ensuring 3D consistency across novel viewpoints and expressions. We further present a hierarchical UV-space Gaussian Splatting framework that leverages FLAME-based structural priors and employs a dual-branch architecture to disentangle dynamic and static facial components effectively. The dynamic branch encodes expression-driven fine details, while the static branch focuses on expression-invariant regions, enabling efficient parameter inference and precomputation. This design maximizes the utility of limited 3D data and achieves real-time performance for animation and rendering. Additionally, SEGA performs person-specific fine-tuning to further enhance the fidelity and realism of the generated avatars. Experiments show our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in generalization ability, identity preservation, and expression realism, advancing one-shot avatar creation for practical applications.

Joint Optimization for 4D Human-Scene Reconstruction in the Wild

Reconstructing human motion and its surrounding environment is crucial for understanding human-scene interaction and predicting human movements in the scene. While much progress has been made in capturing human-scene interaction in constrained environments, those prior methods can hardly reconstruct the natural and diverse human motion and scene context from web videos. In this work, we propose JOSH, a novel optimization-based method for 4D human-scene reconstruction in the wild from monocular videos. JOSH uses techniques in both dense scene reconstruction and human mesh recovery as initialization, and then it leverages the human-scene contact constraints to jointly optimize the scene, the camera poses, and the human motion. Experiment results show JOSH achieves better results on both global human motion estimation and dense scene reconstruction by joint optimization of scene geometry and human motion. We further design a more efficient model, JOSH3R, and directly train it with pseudo-labels from web videos. JOSH3R outperforms other optimization-free methods by only training with labels predicted from JOSH, further demonstrating its accuracy and generalization ability.

Sonicmesh: Enhancing 3D Human Mesh Reconstruction in Vision-Impaired Environments With Acoustic Signals

3D human mesh reconstruction (HMR) from RGB images often degrades under poor illumination, occlusion, and non-line-of-sight conditions. Acoustic sensing provides complementary spatial cues but suffers from low spatial resolution. We propose SonicMesh, which, to the best of our knowledge, is the first acoustic--visual framework for robust 3D human mesh reconstruction. SonicMesh first converts ultrasonic echoes into range--azimuth acoustic images through an Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR)-based imaging process. It then introduces a cross-dimensional anatomical registration module that maps modality-specific 2D joint features into a common canonical 3D human space. The registered anatomical representations are further integrated with acoustic and visual features through a two-stage fusion network for final mesh reconstruction. Experiments demonstrate that SonicMesh achieves accurate and robust 3D human reconstruction across normal, poor-light, occluded, and non-line-of-sight environments, consistently outperforming existing RGB-, radio-frequency (RF)-, and mmWave-based approaches under challenging sensing conditions.

PSHuman: Photorealistic Single-image 3D Human Reconstruction using Cross-Scale Multiview Diffusion and Explicit Remeshing

Detailed and photorealistic 3D human modeling is essential for various applications and has seen tremendous progress. However, full-body reconstruction from a monocular RGB image remains challenging due to the ill-posed nature of the problem and sophisticated clothing topology with self-occlusions. In this paper, we propose PSHuman, a novel framework that explicitly reconstructs human meshes utilizing priors from the multiview diffusion model. It is found that directly applying multiview diffusion on single-view human images leads to severe geometric distortions, especially on generated faces. To address it, we propose a cross-scale diffusion that models the joint probability distribution of global full-body shape and local facial characteristics, enabling detailed and identity-preserved novel-view generation without any geometric distortion. Moreover, to enhance cross-view body shape consistency of varied human poses, we condition the generative model on parametric models like SMPL-X, which provide body priors and prevent unnatural views inconsistent with human anatomy. Leveraging the generated multi-view normal and color images, we present SMPLX-initialized explicit human carving to recover realistic textured human meshes efficiently. Extensive experimental results and quantitative evaluations on CAPE and THuman2.1 datasets demonstrate PSHumans superiority in geometry details, texture fidelity, and generalization capability.

Multi-view Hand Reconstruction with a Point-Embedded Transformer

This work introduces a novel and generalizable multi-view Hand Mesh Reconstruction (HMR) model, named POEM, designed for practical use in real-world hand motion capture scenarios. The advances of the POEM model consist of two main aspects. First, concerning the modeling of the problem, we propose embedding a static basis point within the multi-view stereo space. A point represents a natural form of 3D information and serves as an ideal medium for fusing features across different views, given its varied projections across these views. Consequently, our method harnesses a simple yet effective idea: a complex 3D hand mesh can be represented by a set of 3D basis points that 1) are embedded in the multi-view stereo, 2) carry features from the multi-view images, and 3) encompass the hand in it. The second advance lies in the training strategy. We utilize a combination of five large-scale multi-view datasets and employ randomization in the number, order, and poses of the cameras. By processing such a vast amount of data and a diverse array of camera configurations, our model demonstrates notable generalizability in the real-world applications. As a result, POEM presents a highly practical, plug-and-play solution that enables user-friendly, cost-effective multi-view motion capture for both left and right hands. The model and source codes are available at https://github.com/JubSteven/POEM-v2.

GIF: Agentic Generation of Interactive and Functional Object Compositions for Robot Learning

Robot manipulation foundation models require scalable evaluation and data generation across diverse scenarios, with simulation providing an environment for both. Automated scene generation offers a promising path, yet prior work has largely emphasized coarse-grained scene layouts rather than fine-grained functional object compositions. Motivated by this gap, we present GIF, an agentic Generation framework for Interactive and Functional object compositions. In this framework, we recast this problem as disentangled reconstruction followed by relative pose recovery. CoGen produces instance-disentangled meshes with coarse initial poses leveraging complementary strengths of 2D and 3D generative models. GPRM refines the relative pose under joint geometric and physical guidance, and a VLM verifier selects the candidate that best matches the structured specification. We further construct a benchmark spanning eight representative contact-geometry classes and compare with state-of-the-art generators; GIF improves both asset quality and relation matching, while reducing collision rate to below 1%. Finally, we synthesize data for policy learning, revealing diversity scaling in both simulation and real-world deployment.

Leveraging Avatar Fingerprinting: A Multi-Generator Photorealistic Talking-Head Public Database and Benchmark

Recent advances in photorealistic avatar generation have enabled highly realistic talking-head avatars, raising security concerns regarding identity impersonation in AI-mediated communication. To advance in this challenging problem, the task of avatar fingerprinting aims to determine whether two avatar videos are driven by the same human operator or not. However, current public databases in the literature are scarce and based solely on old-fashioned talking-head avatar generators, not representing realistic scenarios for the current task of avatar fingerprinting. To overcome this situation, the present article introduces AVAPrintDB, a new publicly available multi-generator talking-head avatar database for avatar fingerprinting. AVAPrintDB is constructed from two audiovisual corpora and three state-of-the-art avatar generators (GAGAvatar, LivePortrait, HunyuanPortrait), representing different synthesis paradigms, and includes both self- and cross-reenactments to simulate legitimate usage and impersonation scenarios. Building on this database, we also define a standardized and reproducible benchmark for avatar fingerprinting, considering public state-of-the-art avatar fingerprinting systems and exploring novel methods based on Foundation Models (DINOv2 and CLIP). Also, we conduct a comprehensive analysis under generator and dataset shift. Our results show that, while identity-related motion cues persist across synthetic avatars, current avatar fingerprinting systems remain highly sensitive to changes in the synthesis pipeline and source domain. The AVAPrintDB, benchmark protocols, and avatar fingerprinting systems are publicly available to facilitate reproducible research.
