Recursive Code World Models: Building Complex Worlds through Recursive Scene Programs

Code world models represent worlds as executable programs, but this representation alone does not determine how to construct a complex world. We introduce Recursive Code World Models (RCWM), a framework for reconstructing complex 3D worlds in code from a single reference image. RCWM couples a Recursive Scene Program (RSP) representation with a construction solver that recursively calls itself. An RSP represents the executable world as compositional scene code, while each solver call follows the same complete process: establish the whole, recursively reconstruct unresolved parts, and revisit the whole to refine their composition. This global-local-global recursion gives fine-scale structures their own perception-and-editing loops while preserving scene-wide geometry and relationships. Reference-aligned views propagate a shared camera projection across levels, while parent revisitation addresses boundaries, spatial relations, and shared errors that emerge after local refinement. A vision-language coding agent directly compares reference images with scene renders to guide refinement, recursive descent, and return. Across complex scenes, RCWM outperforms prior code-based image-to-scene reconstruction methods. Ablation studies further support the benefits of recursive construction and suggest that deeper calls can improve finer-scale reconstruction. RCWM provides a recursive construction principle for building complex executable worlds from visual evidence.

Valerant: An Automatic Navigable Game Map Generator via Action-Conditioned World Model Exploration

World Action Models (WAMs) couple predictive world modeling with action generation, allowing anticipated future states to guide agent behavior. Although WAMs are rapidly advancing embodied AI, general-purpose counterparts remain largely unexplored in games. Existing game-oriented approaches often combine action-conditioned world models with external policies and reward functions to realize WAM-like decision-making, yet they operate mainly in 2D visual observation space and do not instantiate persistent 3D geometry. Extending this paradigm to 3D games introduces a distinct challenge. In autonomous driving and robotics, the physical environment exists independently of the model, providing a persistent 3D world in which selected actions can be executed. Games have no such external substrate; the virtual world itself must be instantiated. Most playable games require a persistent and navigable space, while 3D games additionally require explicit geometry that supports movement and interaction. Action-conditioned video rollouts provide visual observations but not this spatial representation. We present \textsc{Valerant}, a training-free framework that transforms a pretrained action-conditioned world model into a WAM for exploring and constructing 3D game maps. By coupling predictive visual rollouts with SLAM-based spatial reconstruction and exploration-driven action selection, \textsc{Valerant} progressively transforms a single image into a persistent 3D game map. This framework extends WAM-based interaction beyond 2D visual simulation and offers a new approach to reducing manual effort in 3D game-map creation.

Search-to-World: Evaluation of 3D World Delivery from User Request through Web Search

Agentic systems can interpret user requests, search the live web, and use external tools, but their ability to transform retrieved web content into a usable 3D world has not been systematically evaluated. No established end-to-end pipeline or benchmark exists for this capability. We introduce Search-to-World, an end-to-end evaluation task covering request understanding, web visual-content retrieval, and 3D-world delivery. We define Observed Retrieval Rate (ORR) and World Delivery Rate (WDR) to distinguish observing relevant content from successfully delivering a request-aligned, perceptually acceptable world. We also present WorldSearcher, a reuse-then-reconstruction harness that connects existing search agents to world delivery: it first retrieves reusable 3D worlds and, when none are available, reconstructs a world from video. A structured recovery controller revises temporal grounding, replaces source videos, or reformulates queries after failure. Using WorldSearcher, we benchmark representative models on Search-to-World and study supervised fine-tuning (SFT) for recovery subagents. Results show that delivery depends on the underlying agentic model, and that relevant-content observation does not ensure world delivery. Jointly training recovery agents improves delivery success and action efficiency. Search-to-World makes agentic 3D-world delivery measurable, while WorldSearcher provides a practical evaluation harness with recovery capabilities.

Puffin-World: Scaling a Unified Multimodal Model with Native 3D World States

We propose Puffin-World, a unified multimodal architecture that integrates physical understanding, spatial simulation, and 3D world generation and reconstruction without relying on external offline modules. To reliably construct and interact with 3D worlds, our framework jointly models three native world states: physics (gravity field and latitude), geometry (depth), and appearance (image), together with a unified Omni-Camera representation that supports diverse tasks and flexible motions. Beyond modeling these states, we introduce a strategy for propagating physical dynamics across future frames. By grounding absolute camera properties in the real world, Puffin-World enables physically consistent and visually stable world generation. We further couple appearance and geometry within a single generative process, jointly synthesizing each future view and reconstructing its underlying geometry. This unified paradigm enables interleaved closed-loop applications requiring synergy across multiple tasks, including mimic and self-calibrated world exploration. To scale Puffin-World to complex scenarios, we construct Puffin-16M, comprising 15 million vision-language-camera triplets and 1 million trajectories featuring various and challenging motions. To foster further research in this area, we released the code, models, and datasets.

StateFlow: Building, Evolving, and Accessing 3D World States for Previsualization

Previsualization is an intermediate layer between ideas and production in film, games, architecture, and urban design. It lets creators iteratively refine scenes, actions, cameras, and spatial-temporal dynamics. Yet existing generative methods rely on simple prompts to jointly control all of these factors through one-shot image or video synthesis, offering weak controllability and limited support for iterative editing. Fundamentally, a world comprises multiple elements with geometry, appearance, and other attributes, together with cameras. Different frames are produced through local modifications or recombinations of this shared state, which is otherwise largely reused. Therefore, we argue that the missing component is an explicit and persistent working state. To address this, we present StateFlow, a state-centric framework for generative previsualization. Rather than generating videos in one shot, StateFlow uses an editable 3D world to organize scene structure, evolution, and cameras, while off-the-shelf video models enhance visual quality when higher fidelity is desired. This world is maintained as a persistent structured 3D state of scene elements and camera configurations, serving as the core working representation for previsualization. Built on this insight, StateFlow has three stages to construct, evolve, and access the world state. State construction lifts generated 2D content into a coherent 3D world through prior-guided, conflict-aware dual-view initialization, while State evolution translates user intent into structured state transitions while preserving world memory, avoiding full-scene regeneration for each edit. State access uses render-feedback reflection to refine camera plans into visually feasible trajectories, avoiding reliance on VLM semantics alone. Experiments show that StateFlow produces high-quality 3D worlds for video creation and game-like prototyping.

D3D-GEN: Robot-Aware Domain-Grounded Interactive 3D World Generation for Social Robotics

Training and validation of Embodied AI for social navigation critically depends on realistic simulation environments, yet many current approaches fail to find a balance between realism and simulability. We propose D3D-GEN, a novel world generation system that combines a domain agent with a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline grounded in that domain. Our system enables users to rapidly generate domain-grounded, fully interactive 3D worlds by automating both the collection of domain knowledge and the synthesis of realistic floorplans and object placements, without dependence on any fixed 3D model database. Given a domain description prompt, the research agent collects publicly accessible domain-specific data and constructs a persistent domain database. Using this database, our RAG pipeline generates plausible floorplans and object placements by dynamically querying a user-provided semantic database, which can be easily extended or modified. The output is a fully interactive 3D world loadable by the popular simulators Isaac Sim and Gazebo. With our approach, we have built databases for several common domains (indoor residential, hospital, office) and generated dozens of distinct, plausible simulation environments for each domain. We present D3D-GEN with a local web frontend that facilitates rapid, interactive world generation for robot simulation.

WorldClaw: Agentic 3D Open-World Generation at Scale

Generating large-scale, freely explorable 3D worlds from open-ended text remains challenging because a system must jointly maintain global spatial coherence, rich local content, and explicit assets suitable for downstream editing and reuse. We present WorldClaw, a fully agentic, coarse-to-fine framework for open-world 3D scene generation. Planning agents translate a text prompt into a structured specification of regions, terrain, assets, materials, and spatial relations. WorldClaw then builds a globally coherent terrain foundation from semantic layouts, reusable assets, generative or procedural materials, and a region-aware height field. For detail-demanding regions, it generates terrain-conditioned compositions, reconstructs editable textured meshes, and recovers their placement on the terrain; render-based agents further refine terrain, objects, appearance, and contacts. Across diverse open-world prompts, WorldClaw produces large-scale scenes with coherent spatial organization, visually compelling local content, and editable instance-level assets while preserving a consistent global terrain structure.

GeoWorldAD: Geometry World Action Model for Autonomous Driving

Autonomous driving requires both safe and efficient planning decisions in dynamic 3D environments. Although recent Vision/Video-Action models learn policies directly from visual observations and scale well with advances in vision transformers and large-scale training data, they often lack explicit geometric grounding and future-aware spatial guidance, limiting their ability to balance collision avoidance and driving progress. In this work, we propose GeoWorldAD, a geometry world action model that grounds trajectory planning in ego-aligned 3D space and anticipates short-horizon scene evolution with latent future geometry tokens. Present geometry provides essential spatial constraints for safe planning, while future geometry reveals how surrounding agents and ego-centric free space may evolve, reducing overly conservative decisions without sacrificing safety. To efficiently exploit these geometric cues, GeoWorldAD progressively aggregates multi-scale present geometry and latent future geometry through iterative trajectory refinement. Experiments on NAVSIM v1 and v2 demonstrate state-of-the-art performance, highlighting the effectiveness of explicit 3D geometry grounding and future geometry world modeling for safe and efficient autonomous driving.

ABot-3DWorld 0: A Universal World Model to Explore Any 3D Space

We present ABot-3DWorld 0, a universal multimodal 3D world model that turns text, image, and video inputs into high-fidelity, explorable 3D worlds. At the heart of our framework is a unified Spatial Generative Primitive (SGP), a compact tuple of a high-quality panorama and a spatial point cloud that delivers an efficient description of any 3D space. Multimodal inputs are first lifted into this primitive; a 3D-consistent panoramic video generator then explores the primitive along a planned trajectory; finally, our panoramic video reconstruction engine converts the generated video into a clean, photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) world. This pipeline covers two regimes: rich inputs (multi-view sets, casual video) are lifted into the SGP through a geometry-rigorous recovery that mirrors the observed scene, while a single image or sentence is completed generatively into a creative world. The result is one low-barrier engine for general 3D content creation that further anchors generated worlds to geographic points of interest, enabling map-native spatial exploration at consumer scale. Experiments show that ABot-3DWorld 0 sets the state of the art among open-source methods and demonstrates stronger scene fidelity than Marble under rich multimodal inputs.

PhysMani: Physics-principled 3D World Model for Dynamic Object Manipulation

Manipulating fast and dynamically moving targets in unstructured 3D environments remains challenging for embodied AI. Existing visual-language-action models and world models struggle with accurate 3D geometry and physically meaningful forecasting. We propose PhysMani, a framework that couples a physics-principled 3D Gaussian world model with a future-aware action policy model. The world model learns a divergence-free Gaussian velocity field via online optimization for fast and physically grounded future dynamics prediction. The policy model integrates the predicted 3D scene future dynamics through a learnable token based cross-attention module. We introduce PhysMani-Bench, a dynamic manipulation benchmark with 16 tasks, and demonstrate a superior success rate over strong baselines in both simulation and real-world robot experiments.

3D Point World Models: Point Completion Enables More Accurate Dynamics Learning

Learning predictive models of the world enables robotic control through planning, potentially allowing robots to improvise solutions on new tasks. However, large video-based dynamics models lack explicit 3D spatial structure and suffer from geometrically inconsistent long-term rollouts with compounding errors. Emerging 3D dynamics models based on partial point clouds improve geometric consistency but remain sensitive to occlusions and accumulated prediction drift. To address these challenges, we present 3D Point World Models (3DPWM) - a task-agnostic world model that operates entirely in 3D space by first completing partial point clouds and then learning action-conditioned dynamics in this completed 3D scene. By operating on completed geometry, 3DPWM enables reliable long-horizon rollouts and more accurate cost evaluation for model-based planning while supporting adaptation to new tasks. Experiments across different robotic embodiments and tabletop manipulation benchmarks demonstrate that 3DPWM achieves significantly more reliable long-horizon rollouts (100-300+ steps), supports both open-loop and closed-loop planning, and enables successful sim-to-real transfer.

Look-Before-Move: Narrative-Grounded World Visual Attention in Dynamic 3D Story Worlds

As embodied AI and world models increasingly operate in dynamic 3D environments, visual perception must move beyond passively interpreting given observations toward actively deciding what to observe. We study this problem through camera planning in dynamic 3D story worlds, where the camera must not only generate smooth motion, but also decide what visual evidence should be acquired before it moves. We formulate this capability as Narrative-Grounded World Visual Attention, where the camera acts as an embodied observer that determines what to observe, how to compose the observation, and how to shift attention over time under narrative intent and physical 3D constraints. To realize this capability, we propose Look-Before-Move, a camera planning framework that separates observation specification from motion execution. It first builds a Semantic Observation Contract to convert directorial intent into executable visual constraints, then performs Monte Carlo Viewpoint Search to find narrative-compliant and geometrically feasible viewpoints, and finally applies Semantic Trajectory Grounding to connect selected viewpoints into continuous, collision-aware, and temporally coherent camera motion. We further construct a dynamic 3D Story World Benchmark based on StoryBlender, covering 50 stories, 457 scenes, and 1585 shots with animated characters, semantic scene configurations, and executable 3D environments. Experiments show that our framework improves subject perception, intent consistency, and trajectory quality over representative baselines, demonstrating the importance of organizing visual attention before generating camera motion.

φφ-Scene: Physically Grounded Image-to-3D Scene Reconstruction

Reconstructing compositional 3D scenes from a single image is a fundamental challenge in 3D world modeling. Recent methods can recover high-fidelity, complete 3D objects and predict plausible scene arrangements, but most still treat scene reconstruction primarily as a visual and geometric prediction problem. Their outputs may therefore contain floating objects, interpenetrations, or unstable-contact artifacts, limiting their physical validity and downstream usability in simulation, robotics, and interactive environments. We present φφ-Scene, a physically grounded approach to open-vocabulary and compositional image-to-3D scene reconstruction. The key premise is that a reconstructed scene should not be treated merely as a set of objects with predicted poses, but as a stable physical system. Accordingly, φφ-Scene formulates reconstruction as topology-driven physical assembly: it infers how objects support one another, orders them accordingly, and progressively settles each object against its already stabilized support context. For each object in topological order, SDF-based optimization first resolves penetrations against the pre-settled support context, and rigid-body simulation then settles the object into a stable contact configuration under real-world physical constraints. Experiments on 3D-Front show that φφ-Scene achieves the strongest overall performance among out-of-domain methods and remains highly competitive with in-domain baselines. Human and VLM evaluations further show strong preference for φφ-Scene in visual quality, reference alignment, and physical plausibility. Finally, dedicated physical plausibility metrics covering static contact quality and dynamic stability demonstrate that φφ-Scene substantially reduces penetration artifacts while producing much lower post-simulation drift, indicating more stable and physically grounded 3D scenes.

Future Dynamic 3D Reconstruction: A 3D World Model with Disentangled Ego-Motion

Forecasting the evolution of dynamic environments is crucial for autonomous agents. While generative world models have recently achieved high photorealism in 2D video synthesis by mixing ego-motion and environmental dynamics within the image plane, they exhibit physical inconsistencies, such as morphing or vanishing objects, especially over long time horizons. In this paper, we propose FR3D, a world model that predicts a persistent 3D latent representation for future dynamic 3D reconstruction. Unlike prior works that treat the world as a sequence of image-based features, FR3D explicitly decouples the 3D evolution of the scene from the agent's trajectory, treating the inferred ego-motion as a latent proxy for action. This disentanglement resolves the ambiguities between self-motion and world-motion, ensuring geometric consistency into the future. Furthermore, we introduce a teacher-student distillation strategy that leverages the spatial "common sense" of off-the-shelf foundation models, leading to robust zero-shot generalization. Extensive experiments demonstrate FR3D's strong performance for future dynamic 3D reconstruction from monocular observations across multiple datasets, even 2 seconds into the future. μ0μ_0: A Scalable 3D Interaction-Trace World Model

World models that capture how actions induce physical change enable scalable robot learning without reliance on embodiment-specific action labels. Pixel-space video models provide broad visual priors but expend model capacity on dense appearance reconstruction, while direct action models require embodiment-specific labels that hinder scalability. We present μ0μ_0, a scalable world model based on 3D traces. Rather than predicting dense pixels or directly modeling actions, μ0μ_0 forecasts smooth 3D trajectories for salient interaction points such as objects, tools, hands, and contact regions, yielding a compact, embodiment-agnostic motion interface. To enable training from diverse video sources, our TraceExtract system automatically extracts 3D supervision by selecting keypoints, constructing globally aligned traces, and associating motion segments with hierarchical language captions. This TraceExtract supervision pretrains μ0μ_0 by combining a pretrained vision-language backbone with a modular trace expert, which represents each query via B-spline control points and predicts future traces. Experiments show that μ0μ_0 outperforms baselines in both 2D and 3D trace prediction, including trace prediction models and tokenized VLM methods. Because μ0μ_0 is frozen and reusable, it can be paired with action experts for downstream robot embodiments. Despite action-free pretraining, the resulting trace-conditioned policies achieve performance competitive with VLA models pretrained with action supervision, such as π0π_0. These results establish 3D traces as a scalable and transferable representation for cross-embodiment manipulation.

VLGA: Vision-Language-Geometry-Action Models for Autonomous Driving

Vision-language-action (VLA) models can describe scenes and reason about them in language, yet still struggle to ground their actions in the dense 3D world around them. Existing approaches either inject features from a frozen 3D foundation model without an objective that ensures the policy uses them, or constrain geometry with sparse box and map losses that provide no dense spatial signal. We introduce VLGA, the first vision-language-action model supervised to reconstruct the dense 3D world it drives through. VLGA introduces geometry as a fourth modality alongside vision, language, and action through a dedicated expert supervised by a per-pixel pointmap regression loss against LiDAR. Extensive experiments conducted on challenging nuScenes and Bench2Drive datasets for open-loop and closed-loop evaluations, respectively, show the superiority of VLGA over counterpart VLA methods. In particular, on open-loop nuScenes, VLGA sets a new state of the art among VLA methods without ego status, with the lowest L2 (0.50,m average) and 3-second collision rate (0.18%). On closed-loop Bench2Drive, VLGA attains the state-of-the-art driving score of 79.08, +0.71 over the strongest prior VLA, at comparable efficiency and comfort.

A 3D Isovist World Model -- Revealing a City's Unseen Geometry and Its Emergent Cross-City Signature

Embodied agents that navigate cities rely on world models that predict how their surroundings will change as they move. But for navigation, what matters is not what the buildings look like; it is where the agent can go. Most world models nonetheless predict appearance, learning how a scene looks rather than the space an agent can move through. Those that do target geometry, such as bird's-eye-view occupancy grids, flatten the three-dimensional environment onto a ground plane, discarding the above-ground and multi-level structure that shapes real navigation. What is missing is a predictive target that captures the navigable geometry an agent actually traverses, without photometric entanglement and without collapsing the third dimension. Our key idea is to model the open volume between buildings, the negative space, encoded as a 3D isovist: a spherical visibility-depth map recording the distance to the nearest surface in every direction. We introduce an embodied world model that predicts the next isovist from a short history of past isovists and a movement action. The prediction is formulated as a depth residual so the decoder inherits sharp building edges, trained with self-rollout scheduled sampling to keep corrupted context on the geometry manifold, and equipped with a persistent latent bird's-eye-view spatial map for cross-path consistency. Our central finding is emergent and unexpected: a single city-blind model trained on Manhattan and Paris develops a cross-city spatial signature, with city identity linearly decodable from its temporal latents far above single-frame baselines, so the signature lives in the learned dynamics rather than in appearance. The representation is lightweight, interpretable, and reproducible, offering a geometric substrate for spatial reasoning in embodied AI, robotics, and urban analysis, released with an open dataset and pipeline.

Dexterity-BEV: Aligning 3D World and Actions for Generalizable Robot Policies Learning

End-to-end manipulation policies, combined with web-scale pretrained Vision-Language Models (VLMs), show the promise for generalizable and dexterous robotic manipulation. However, they inherit two key limitations from 2D foundation models: 1) the reliance on 2D RGB inputs that ignores the intrinsically 3D nature of manipulation; and 2) the lack of spatial 3D alignment between input-output spaces as well as across diverse robot embodiments, camera setups, and trajectory datasets. In this paper, we present a series of contributions to address these issues. First, we introduce aligned vertex map and vertex spectrum -- a pixel-wise 3D representation that elevates 2D visual inputs to 3D, using camera calibration and optional depth. This novel input representation marries 3D awareness with the generalization of 2D large VLMs. Then, we propose to align the inputs and outputs of manipulation policies by expressing per-pixel 3D information of each camera view and robot actions to a shared coordinate. Based on this, we designate a canonical Bird's-Eye-View (BEV) alignment frame and innovatively propose to construct BEV images, producing a view-invariant representation robust to camera pose variations. To enable training and evaluation at scale, we develop a comprehensive data processing pipeline to perform such alignments; we also introduce a novel temporal alignment scheme for trajectories across diverse robots, human operators, and datasets. These contributions collectively mitigate input and output spatial-temporal misalignments, improving the consistency and generalization for real-world manipulation. Pretrained checkpoint, source code and data processing pipeline are available in https://hnuzhy.github.io/projects/Dex-BEV.

WorldCoder-Bench: Benchmarking Physically Grounded 3D World Synthesis

Large language models (LLMs) are increasingly asked not only to write static interfaces, but to construct executable interactive worlds from natural language. Browser-native 3D, commonly built with Three.js, is a natural next frontier: generated programs must integrate assets, obey spatial and physical constraints, and keep user-facing controls synchronized with hidden runtime state. Existing web-generation benchmarks and evaluators, however, largely observe only pixels or DOM nodes, while the mechanics of a Three.js world unfold inside an opaque <canvas>. We introduce WorldCoder-Bench, a benchmark for autonomous, physically grounded 3D world synthesis. WorldCoder-Bench contains 2,026 expert-curated tasks across Simulation, Rendering, and Application scenarios, with optional .glb assets and hidden behavioral contracts. We further propose StateProbe, an execution-based protocol that probes generated programs in a sandboxed browser and verifies hidden, mutation-hardened contracts over runtime states and transitions. Beyond verification coverage, we report Return on Automation and Time Efficiency Multiplier to measure correctness-adjusted cost and time savings. Across nine frontier models, the best system reaches only 27.8% verification coverage on WorldCoder-Core and 19.9% on WorldCoder-Robust, with failures dominated by state-schema drift and broken interaction chains rather than missing scene elements. Utility metrics further show that cheap or fast models can still provide substantial value on easier domains. WorldCoder-Bench is available at https://anonymous.4open.science/r/WorldCoder-Bench/.

SphericalDreamer: Generating Navigable Immersive 3D Worlds with Panorama Fusion

The generation of immersive and navigable 3D environments is increasingly prevalent with the growing adoption of virtual reality and 3D content. However, recent methods face a fundamental limitation: they cannot produce 3D worlds that simultaneously (i) are navigable over long-range spatial extents and (ii) cover the complete omnidirectional field of view (360360^\circ horizontally and 180180^\circ vertically). To address this challenge, we introduce SphericalDreamer, a method for generating fully immersive and long-range 3D outdoor environments from textual prompts. Our approach is built on the generation of multiple panoramic images, which are subsequently lifted into 3D and fused together while maintaining visual and geometric consistency. SphericalDreamer produces highly detailed, fully immersive 3D environments, while substantially improving scale and navigability compared to prior approaches.

WorldAct: Activating Monolithic 3D Worlds into Interactive-Ready Object-Centric Scenes

Recent 3D world modeling systems based on generative scene synthesis, such as Marble, can create coherent and explorable 3D environments, yet their outputs are typically static monolithic assets with limited editability and physical interaction. This restricts their use in immersive content creation and embodied simulation, where generated worlds must be actively modified and manipulated. To tackle this challenge, we present WorldAct, a framework that converts static generated 3D worlds into editable and interaction-ready scenes. WorldAct uses a multimodal agent to guide scene decomposition, identify actionable objects, reconstruct geometrically aligned object-level meshes for interaction, and restore the residual background via 3D inpainting. The resulting scenes support object-level editing, collision-aware manipulation, and embodied task execution while preserving global scene coherence. Experiments show that WorldAct enables richer interaction scenarios than the original generated scenes, suggesting a practical path toward editable and interactive 3D world models.

GTA: Advancing Image-to-3D World Generation via Geometry Then Appearance Video Diffusion

Recent developments in generative models and large-scale datasets have substantially advanced 3D world generation, facilitating a broad range of domains including spatial intelligence, embodied intelligence, and autonomous driving. While achieving remarkable progress, existing approaches to 3D world generation typically prioritize appearance prediction with limited modeling of the underlying geometry, leading to issues such as unreliable scene structure estimation and degraded cross-view consistency. To address these limitations, motivated by the coarse-to-fine nature of human visual perception, we propose GTA, a novel image-to-3D world generation method following a Geometry-Then-Appearance paradigm. Specifically, given a single input image, to improve the structural fidelity of synthesized 3D scenes, GTA adopts a two-stage framework with two dedicated video diffusion models, which first generate coarse geometric structure from novel viewpoints and then synthesize fine-grained appearance conditioned on the predicted geometry. To further enhance cross-view appearance consistency, we introduce a random latent shuffle strategy during the training process, along with a test-time scaling scheme that improves perceptual quality without compromising quantitative performance. Extensive experiments have demonstrated that our proposed method consistently outperforms existing approaches in terms of fidelity, visual quality, and geometric accuracy. Moreover, GTA is shown to be effective as a general enhancement module that further improves the generation quality of existing image-to-3D world pipelines, as well as supporting multiple downstream applications and exhibiting favorable data efficiency during model training, highlighting its versatility and broad applicability. 3D-Belief: Embodied Belief Inference via Generative 3D World Modeling

Recent advances in visual generative models have highlighted the promise of learning generative world models. However, most existing approaches frame world modeling as novel-view synthesis or future-frame prediction, emphasizing visual realism rather than the structured uncertainty required by embodied agents acting under partial observability. In this work, we propose a different perspective: world modeling as embodied belief inference in 3D space. From this view, a world model should not merely render what may be seen, but maintain and update an agent's belief about the unobserved 3D world as new observations are acquired. We identify several key capabilities for such models, including spatially consistent scene memory, multi-hypothesis belief sampling, sequential belief updating, and semantically informed prediction of unseen regions. We instantiate these ideas in 3D-Belief, a generative 3D world model that infers explicit, actionable 3D beliefs from partial observations and updates them online over time. Unlike prior visual prediction models, 3D-Belief represents uncertainty directly in 3D, enabling embodied agents to imagine plausible scene completions and reason over partially observed environments. We evaluate 3D-Belief on 2D visual quality for scene memory and unobserved-scene imagination, object- and scene-level 3D imagination using our proposed 3D-CORE benchmark, and challenging object navigation tasks in both simulation and the real world. Experiments show that 3D-Belief improves 2D and 3D imagination quality and downstream embodied task performance compared to state-of-the-art methods.

Beyond Spatial Compression: Interface-Centric Generative States for Open-World 3D Structure

Current 3D tokenizers largely treat representation as spatial compression: compact codes reconstruct surface geometry, but leave component ownership and attachment validity implicit. In open-world assets with intersecting components, noisy topology, and weak canonical structure, this creates a representation mismatch: local shape, component identity, and assembly relations become entangled in a latent stream and are not natively addressable during decoding. We formulate an alternative view, interface-centric generative states, in which tokenization constructs an operational state rather than a passive compressed code. The state exposes local geometry, component ownership, and attachment validity as variables that can be queried, constrained, and repaired during decoding. We instantiate this formulation with Component-Conditioned Canonical Local Tokens (C2LT-3D), factorizing representation into canonical local geometry, partition-conditioned context, and relational seam variables. Each factor targets a distinct failure mode of compression-centric tokens: pose leakage, cross-component interference, or invalid local attachment. This exposed state supports attachment validation, latent structural repair, targeted intervention, and constrained serialization without a separate post-hoc structure recovery module. Trained on single-object CAD models and evaluated zero-shot on open-world multi-component assets, C2LT-3D improves structural robustness and shows that its latent variables remain actionable under adversarial attachment settings. These results suggest that open-world 3D generative representations should be evaluated not only by reconstruction fidelity, but by whether their discrete states remain operational for assembly-level structural reasoning.

LAMP: Localization Aware Multi-camera People Tracking in Metric 3D World

Tracking 3D human motion from egocentric multi-camera headset is challenged by severe egomotion, partial visibility or occlusions and lack of training data. Existing methods designed for monocular video often require static or slowly-moving cameras and cannot efficiently leverage multi-view, calibrated and localized input. This makes them brittle and prone to fail on dynamic egocentric captures. We propose LAMP (Localization Aware Multi-camera People Tracking): a novel, simple framework to solve this via early disentanglement of observer and target motion. LAMP introduces a two-step process. First, we leverage the known device 6 DoF motion and calibration to convert detected 2D body keypoints from all cameras over a temporal window into a unified 3D world reference frame. Second, an end-to-end-trained spatio-temporal transformer fits 3D human motion directly to this 3D ray cloud. This "lift-then-fit" approach allows LAMP to learn and leverage a natural human motion prior in the world-space, as well as providing an elegant framework to flexibly incorporate information from multiple temporally asynchronous, partially observing and moving cameras. LAMP achieves state-of-the-art results on monocular benchmarks, while significantly outperforming baselines for our targeted egocentric setting.

Towards Visual Query Localization in the 3D World

Visual query localization (VQL) aims to predict the spatio-temporal response of the most recent occurrence in a sequence given a query. Currently, most research focuses on visual query localization in 2D videos, while its counterpart in 3D space has received little attention. In this paper, we make the first attempt to address visual query localization in the 3D world by introducing a novel benchmark, dubbed 3DVQL. Specifically, 3DVQL contains 2,002 sequences with around 170,000 frames and 6.4K response track segments from 38 object categories. Each sequence in 3DVQL is provided with multiple modalities, including point clouds, RGB images, and depth images, to support flexible research. To ensure high-quality annotations, each sequence is manually annotated with multiple rounds of verification and refinement. To the best of our knowledge, 3DVQL is the first benchmark for 3D multimodal visual query localization. To facilitate comparison in subsequent research, we implement a series of representative 3D multimodal VQL baselines using point clouds and RGB images. The experimental results show that existing methods exhibit significant performance variations across different fusion modules. To encourage future research, we propose a lift-and-attention fusion algorithm named LaF, which significantly outperforms existing baseline models. Our benchmark and model will be publicly released at https://github.com/wuhengliangliang/3DVQL.
