When Does An Extra View Help? Adapting Single-View 3D Reconstruction with Extra Imagery

Reconstruction of 3D objects from a single image is a challenging research problem in computer vision. The key challenge is the lack of critical information from viewpoints to complete 3D structures. Using an additional view may help to resolve the issue. However, there is no mechanism that can integrate the extra view into the single-view 3D reconstruction principle. We address this challenge by proposing ASV3D, a framework for adapting single-view 3D object reconstruction to test-time data with support from one additional image. We introduce two adaptation strategies: (i) a zero-shot adaptation scheme that leverages the auxiliary image to improve the reconstruction quality of an object without retraining, and (ii) an optimised adaptation scheme that further enhances visual fidelity and cross-view consistency via contrastive learning. We apply our ASV3D to improve two state-of-the-art single-view 3D reconstruction pipelines on both benchmark and real-world datasets. Results demonstrate that our approach consistently improves reconstruction accuracy and robustness under unconstrained multi-view inputs, outperforming the baselines in both quantitative metrics and human preference. We publish our code and the real-world object dataset in our project page at https://github.com/YNhuHuynh/ASV3D/tree/main.

EgoTrack3D: A Modular Framework for Egocentric 3D Object Tracking

Understanding 3D scenes from egocentric video is fundamental for robotics and autonomous navigation, yet rapid viewpoint changes and partial occlusions make building structured representations challenging. Existing 3D tracking and scene graph construction methods primarily address explicit interactions or assume static scenes, limiting their ability to capture complex dynamics. We introduce EgoTrack3D, a modular framework that reconstructs and maintains a dynamic 3D scene representation directly from egocentric RGB video. The framework lifts 2D segmentation masks into a global 3D coordinate frame, using a point-based motion scoring mechanism alongside a voxel-based merging heuristic to associate object tracks. EgoTrack3D maintains accurate representations over time, achieving an 11% improvement in percentage of correct locations (PCL) relative to the strongest baseline on the Aria Digital Twin (ADT) dataset, while addressing the more general setting of persistent 3D tracking for both static and dynamic objects. Furthermore, to demonstrate the system's robustness under degraded conditions that simulate real-world deployment constraints, we replace dense depth maps with sparse 3D bounding box estimation and integrate interaction-guided dynamic association, enabling EgoTrack3D to maintain accurate spatial representations despite noisy observations.

Beyond Reprojection Error: Camera Calibration with 3D Targets

In 3D reconstruction, camera calibration is an essential element for achieving high fidelity and accuracy of the reconstructed geometry. While existing approaches rely upon 2D planar calibration, this work proposes a framework tailored for 3D reconstruction that is based on predicting scene rays, which adds flexibility to the reconstruction pipeline and enables the use of recent advances in camera models. Novel metrics, reconstruction and intersection error, derived from predicted scene rays are employed in combination with a bootstrapping procedure that statistically evaluates different calibration objects and calibration pipelines for both intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters. The results show that the generalized distortion model more faithfully captures physical camera effects and yields an improvement in calibration accuracy. Reprojection error is shown to be a potentially misleading indicator of 3D accuracy, and the proposed ray-based metrics provide a more holistic assessment. An icosahedron calibration target is designed to enrich calibration information for 3D reconstruction together with a ring-feature-based detector. The icosahedral target yields approximately 40% lower mean intersection and more stable calibration across bootstrap trials on synthetic data, while real-data performance demands very tight fabrication tolerances.

VoxStruct3D: Structure-Leading Flow Matching for Voxel-Space 3D MRI Synthesis

High-fidelity 3D MRI synthesis requires both globally coherent anatomy and fine-grained voxel-level detail. Although latent diffusion makes volumetric generation tractable, its image autoencoder introduces a reconstruction bottleneck that can limit the fine detail recoverable in the final volume. We present VoxStruct3D, a voxel-space flow-matching framework that directly models full-resolution MRI volumes using a clean-data prediction objective. Its Volumetric Voxel Generator (VVG) combines factorized 3D patch embedding with overlapping upsampling, time-modulated residual refinement, and skip fusion, enabling neighboring tokens to jointly reconstruct shared voxel regions and suppress patch-boundary artifacts. To complement direct voxel-space modeling with an explicit anatomical prior, we further introduce a Structure-First, Image-Follows (SFIF) strategy. A frozen pretrained 3D medical encoder and a StructVAE extract compact structure tokens that preserve dominant anatomy, while a structure-leading schedule keeps their trajectory ahead of the image trajectory. Patch-Aligned RoPE spatially aligns the unequal token grids, and asymmetric attention enforces one-way guidance from structure to image. Experiments on pathological and healthy T1-weighted brain MRI datasets show that VoxStruct3D achieves the strongest overall performance across feature-distribution alignment, sample diversity, and perceptual quality, producing anatomically coherent and visually realistic volumes.

Geometry Beats Estimated Depth: RGB-Only Multi-Camera 3D Tracking under Sim2Real

The AI City Challenge 2026 Track 1 evaluates multi-camera 3D perception in large indoor warehouses under a synthetic-to-real (Sim2Real) setting; depth is available only for training and validation, so inference is RGB-only. We use two RGB-only routes as a controlled test of one hypothesis: that cross-view geometric consistency, not monocular depth accuracy, governs performance under Sim2Real. The first is a geometry-first pipeline: YOLO11x detection, homography lifting to the world frame, class-level 3D size priors, multi-camera fusion, world-coordinate tracking, and offline tracklet stitching. The second is estimated-depth pseudo-LiDAR: monocular depth (D4RT, Metric3D~v2) back-projected into a fused point cloud and passed to a 3D detector (V-DETR), mirroring prior point-cloud winners that used depth. The gap is decisive: geometry-first reaches 13.0 3D HOTA (51.6 LocA), whereas pseudo-LiDAR collapses to 0.12 (9.2 LocA). We trace the collapse to cross-view inconsistency of monocular depth---scale correction is necessary but not sufficient---which domain-adaptation fine-tuning does not repair within budget. Within the geometry pipeline, offline stitching is the only intervention that helps; SAHI detection, appearance Re-ID, learned lifting, RT-DETR ensembling, test-time augmentation, and domain randomization all fail to beat the baseline detector. The bottlenecks are complementary: detection quality bounds the geometry route (DetA), localization consistency bounds pseudo-LiDAR (LocA). We release a complete, reproducible RGB-only pipeline and ablation.

Flying over The Uncertain Nature (FORTUNE): Intelligent and Humanistic 3D Path Planning for Low-Altitude Collaboration

The proliferation of low-altitude intelligent agents is increasing the demand for timely and socially responsible collaborative sensing in dynamic urban environments. However, jointly addressing heterogeneous spatiotemporal demands, environmental uncertainty, and human-centered operational constraints remains challenging. This paper studies 3D multi-UAV path planning and task assignment under uncertain ground PoI demands. Unlike existing work assuming static and fully known PoIs, we model persistent, temporally predictable, and emergent demands within a unified framework. We further incorporate altitude-dependent societal and environmental costs, including noise exposure and public safety risks, to balance sensing performance with socially compliant operations. To solve the resulting large-scale mixed-integer nonlinear problem, we propose FORTUNE, a hierarchical offline-online framework. Offline, a Transformer predicts Type-II PoI activation windows, while an enhanced sparrow search algorithm generates coordinated flight plans through priority-aware decoding and danger-aware evolution. Online, a lightweight refinement module accommodates emerging Type-III PoIs while preserving global mission coherence. Experiments on real-world traffic data and synthetic scenarios show that FORTUNE consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods in effectiveness, scalability, and practical applicability.

EditFlow3D: Automated Local Editing of 3D Assets with Trajectory Preservation

Controllable local editing of 3D assets requires precise target localization and appropriate visual guidance. However, existing methods lack a simple yet accurate way to obtain 3D masks and struggle to achieve the desired edit while faithfully preserving the structure and appearance of non-target regions. To address these challenges, we present EditFlow3D, a training-free framework for local 3D editing. Given a source asset and an edit instruction, a VLM-driven workflow interprets the editing intent and automatically constructs a visual guidance image and a refined 3D editing mask, enabling localized editing in the native representation space of a pretrained 3D generative model. Specifically, mask-guided differential flow focuses the edit on the target region, while step-wise trajectory preservation maintains consistency between non-target regions and the source asset without directly replacing intermediate features. Since the existing Edit3D-Bench covers only a limited range of local editing categories, we further introduce EditFlow-Bench as a complementary benchmark encompassing a broader variety of structural and appearance edits, and evaluate EditFlow3D on both benchmarks. Quantitative results, qualitative comparisons, and a user study demonstrate that EditFlow3D achieves more accurate target-region editing and better preserves non-target regions than existing 3D editing methods.

VR3D: View-Robust 3D Representation Learning for Aerial-Ground Person Re-Identification

Aerial-ground person re-identification is a challenging task due to cross-platform viewpoint variations, which cause severe occlusion and geometric deformation. Existing methods attempt to learn view-invariant representations exclusively within the 2D image space, where drastic viewpoint variations cause the learned features to remain coupled with viewpoint bias. To address this, we propose VR3D, a View-Robust 3D Representation Learning framework that maps images into a unified 3D coordinate space to achieve view-independent feature interaction. Specifically, we introduce View-Robust 3D Representation Interaction, which leverages 3D priors extracted from single 2D observations to lift 2D appearance features into a canonical 3D space. VR3I employs 3D Geometry-Semantic Attention to establish interactions between 2D patches and 3D voxels from corresponding body parts based on their 3D spatial locations, effectively grounding 2D semantics within a 3D framework. In addition, as the reliability of these representations varies across samples due to viewpoint changes and 3D reconstruction errors, we introduce Reliability-Aware Fusion, which estimates sample-specific reliability and adaptively aggregates the multi-source representations. Extensive experiments on three benchmark datasets (CARGO, AG-ReID.v1, and AG-ReID.v2) demonstrate that VR3D outperforms recent methods. For example, it achieves a 5.63% improvement in Rank-1 on CARGO. Our code will be released.

Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0: A Unified Multimodal Model for Scalable 3D Generation, Understanding, and Editing

Recent advances in image generation have demonstrated the potential of unified multimodal models that integrate understanding, generation, and editing. However, unified 3D modeling remains constrained by scarce multimodal data, particularly the lack of large-scale and geometrically consistent editing data. To address this limitation, we propose Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0, a unified framework supporting 3D understanding, text-to-3D generation, instruction-guided 3D editing, and text-grounded part generation within a single architecture. To enable scalable training, we construct an 87M-scale 3D multimodal corpus, comprising 25M understanding samples, 50M text-to-3D pairs, and 12M editing pairs generated using Nano3D-v2. Architecturally, the framework combines Hunyuan3D-VLM for semantic, structural, and spatial understanding with Hunyuan3D DiT for high-fidelity 3D synthesis. The VLM provides multimodal semantic conditions for generation, while editing and part generation additionally condition the diffusion process on the source object representation to preserve its overall structure and unedited regions. Extensive experiments show that Hunyuan3D-Buffalo 1.0 achieves state-of-the-art or leading performance on text-to-3D generation and 3D editing benchmarks, while exhibiting strong understanding and part-generation capabilities. Our analysis further shows that both generation and understanding improve editing, demonstrating the effectiveness of unified 3D multimodal training. DerainSplat: Feed-Forward Clean 3D Gaussian Splatting from Sparse Rainy Views

Although image deraining has advanced substantially, existing methods mainly focus on 2D image restoration. As spatial intelligence applications such as embodied AI and autonomous driving continue to emerge, reconstructing clean 3D scenes from sparse rainy views in a feed-forward manner becomes increasingly important. Existing feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) methods often assume clean inputs and collapse under rainy conditions. To this end, we present \textbf{\textit{DerainSplat}}, a feed-forward framework that reconstructs clean 3D scenes from only a few rainy views. To support this task, we build a large-scale multi-view derain dataset through a four-stage synthesis pipeline that sequentially models overcast illumination, depth-dependent haze, rain streaks, and lens raindrops, producing privileged weather factors. We introduce a weather net that predicts the weather factors from rainy context and yields two support maps. Scene support modulates cross-view cost-volume matching, while radiance support drives depth-aligned appearance fusion to fill corrupted pixels. The derived geometry evidence further attenuates Gaussian opacity to reduce spurious structures. A rainy cycle consistency re-renders clean views using the predicted factors and aligns them with rainy inputs. Extensive experiments show that \textbf{\textit{DerainSplat}} outperforms existing methods on various datasets, including RealEstate10K, ACID, Mip-NeRF360, and real-world rainy scenes, with strong cross-dataset generalization.

GSRAIN: Physically Calibrated High-/Low-Frequency Rainfall Synthesis for 3D Gaussian Driving Scenes

Existing rainfall simulation methods for autonomous driving remain limited in physical controllability and multi-view consistency. This paper presents GSRAIN, a high-/low-frequency rainfall synthesis method for 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) driving scenes. GSRAIN constructs a high-frequency raindrop model from measured rainfall data and generates low-frequency rainy appearance using a geometry-aware single-step diffusion model. The two effects are then fused in a unified 3DGS scene, enabling rainfall-intensity control over the range of 0--13~mm/h. The proposed method achieves a Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) of 149.09, outperforming CycleGAN-Turbo (155.71) and WeatherEdit (157.94). Object-detection and closed-loop driving experiments further show that the generated scenes expose scene-dependent performance changes of the evaluated algorithms under controllable rainfall. These results indicate that GSRAIN provides an effective approach for constructing physically controllable, repeatable, and closed-loop-compatible rainy-weather test scenes for autonomous driving.

UniqueSplat: View-conditioned 3D Gaussian Splatting for Generalizable 3D Reconstruction

In this paper, we propose UniqueSplat, a view-conditioned feed-forward 3D Gaussian Splatting model to reconstruct customized 3D radiance fields for each view query. Existing feed-forward methods such as pixelSplat and MVSplat aim to generate fixed Gaussians across all views of each scene by minimizing the error between rendered views and ground-truth images. However, such fixed Gaussians generally render images from all views and lack the ability to adapt to specific viewpoints, as they do not incorporate target view information when predicting Gaussians. To address this, our UniqueSplat learns the view-conditioned information as a prior and incorporates this knowledge into network parameters, so that Gaussians are dynamically adjusted in accordance with different views. Specifically, we propose a two-branch view-conditioned hyperNetwork to simultaneously learn view-agnostic embeddings and view-specific knowledge, which not only explores the shareable knowledge from various views, but also adapts the model to specific views at test time. Extensive experiments on widely-used datasets including RealEstate10K, ACID and DTU demonstrate the superiority of UniqueSplat over the state-of-the-art methods. Moreover, UniqueSplat encouragingly outperforms existing methods in cross-dataset evaluation, showing its notable generalization ability.

SubtleTalk: Generating Controllable Weakly-correlated Facial Dynamics for 3D Talking Heads via Residual Flow Matching

Audio-driven 3D facial animation aims to synthesize realistic and temporally coherent motions from speech. Despite notable progress in lip synchronization, weakly correlated dynamics, including eyebrow movements, eye blinks, and head motion, which are essential to photorealistic facial animation, remain difficult to model faithfully and often appear static or unnaturally repetitive. We attribute this limitation to three factors: (a) insufficient conditioning for weakly correlated dynamics; (b) the limited ability of deterministic regression to capture diverse motion patterns; (c) data bottlenecks from unreliable upper-face pseudo-labels and limited dataset diversity. To address these issues, we propose SubtleTalk, a framework for generating natural and controllable weakly correlated facial dynamics via multi-condition modeling and residual flow matching. First, to compensate for the limited guidance of speech alone, we introduce interpretable controls, including prosody, regional intensity, and Valence-Arousal signals, to explicitly capture the timing, magnitude, and affective variation of weakly correlated dynamics. Second, to overcome the limited expressiveness of deterministic regression, we build residual flow matching based on a stable speech-driven motion prior, allowing the model to capture stochastic deviations beyond deterministic prediction. Third, to alleviate the data bottleneck, we construct SubtleTalk-Face, a large-scale 3D facial animation dataset comprising about 3,900 identities and 74 hours of data, built via a simple and scalable pseudo-labeling pipeline and featuring improved upper-face tracking and frame-level VA annotations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly improves the realism and diversity of weakly correlated facial dynamics while preserving accurate lip synchronization.

Beyond Global Latents: Chunk-Based Sparse Grid VAE for Scalable 3D Modeling

Sparse voxel grids preserve the spatial structure needed for detailed 3D reconstruction, but their memory still grows rapidly with resolution as active surface cells increase. We introduce ChunkVAE, a sparse grid variational autoencoder organized around local chunks rather than a global latent volume. Local learned operators permit independently chosen encoder and decoder partitions and allow inference chunk sizes to differ from training. Two complementary data operators make this flexibility practical: Balanced Binary Object Partitioning distributes active cells while limiting replicated overlap, while S-Curve weighted stitching attenuates unreliable boundary features when assembling a global latent or reconstruction. Across three object benchmarks, ChunkVAE is competitive with or better than strong baselines from 5123512^3 to 153631536^3; smaller chunks lower peak allocated memory and shorten per-chunk compute, enabling faster parallel inference. Stable stitched latents and improved image to 3D metrics indicate that local compression can scale geometry while retaining the global interface required downstream.

MANGO-Grasp: Mahalanobis Fields over Geometry-Oriented 3D Gaussians for Cross-Embodiment Dexterous Grasping

Cross-embodiment dexterous grasping aims to synthesize stable grasps across heterogeneous multi-fingered hands with little or no embodiment-specific tuning. Existing interaction-centric methods achieve promising results, but their object representations often underrepresent local surface geometry, while their robot descriptors do not explicitly encode both robot morphology and kinematics. We propose MANGO-Grasp, an anisotropic interaction framework that represents objects as geometry-oriented 3D Gaussian primitives and robot hands as surface keypoints encoded into morpho-kinematic descriptors. The object primitives are adaptively allocated by geometric complexity and shaped as surface-aligned plates with outward normals, encoding local geometry. Mahalanobis fields over keypoint--primitive pairs serve as interaction prediction targets during training and as optimization guidance for grasp realization at inference. These fields rise sharply for displacement along the surface normal but only gently within the tangent plane, matching the directional structure of contact. Grasps are realized with one shared optimization formulation and hyperparameter setting across all embodiments. On the CMAP and MultiGripperGrasp benchmarks, MANGO-Grasp outperforms the strongest seen-hand baseline by up to 8.24 percentage points in simulation. It also transfers zero-shot to the unseen SharpaWave hand, improving over the strongest zero-shot baseline by up to 16.57 percentage points, and achieves 86% success in real-world experiments. The code and additional materials will be made available upon publication at https://connor-zh.github.io/MANGO-Grasp/.

PhotoHOI: Synthesizing 3D Hand-Object Interactions from a Single RGB Photograph

Hand-object interaction (HOI) is a fundamental human behavior with broad applications in AR/VR, digital humans, and embodied interaction. Existing methods typically require predefined object geometry, object trajectories, or task-specific conditions, limiting their use with natural real-world inputs. To address this, we study a more practical problem of synthesizing 3D hand-object interaction sequences from a single RGB photograph and an open-vocabulary language instruction, and introduce PhotoHOI. PhotoHOI first uses a vision-language model to parse the input image and instruction into a structured task specification, including the interaction object, target region, and spatial relation. It then recovers a compact task-relevant 3D scene and plans a smooth collision-aware object trajectory based on the recovered object states, support relations, and surrounding scene geometry. To synthesize hand motion that generalizes to real-world photographs and unseen objects, it learns transferable task-conditioned contact and contact-conditioned grasp priors from large-scale affordance and HOI data. The grasp is further refined in a learned latent space, constraining the optimization to a plausible hand-pose manifold. Experiments on GRAB and H2O demonstrate improved contact quality and reduced penetration over representative baselines. Results on real-world photographs further demonstrate higher task success and scene consistency, together with generalization to unseen objects and open-vocabulary instructions.

PartMat: Material-Aware 3D Part Decomposition with a Single Global Latent

Part-level 3D generation has recently attracted increasing attention for producing structured and editable 3D assets. However, existing methods typically decompose objects according to functional semantics rather than the editable material boundaries (e.g., fabric, wood, metal) required in practical 3D applications such as interior design. Additionally, current methods often generate parts independently, causing computational costs to scale linearly with the part count. To address these limitations, we present PartMat, an efficient material-aware 3D part decomposition pipeline that represents multi-part geometry with a single global latent. Given a reference image and a single whole-object geometry, PartMat decomposes the object into parts that follow material boundaries. First, we propose PartVAE to learn such a unified representation and decode all material parts in a single forward pass, thereby decoupling inference cost from the number of parts. Second, with this representation, a diffusion model is trained for part generation and refined via reinforcement learning for accurate material assignment and overlap suppression. Finally, to recover fine-grained geometric details, we introduce a sparse-voxel flow-matching model with part attention for geometry post-processing. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PartMat significantly outperforms existing baselines in material-aware decomposition accuracy and achieves comparable geometric quality, while maintaining efficient inference.

Probing the 3D Object-Level Understanding of Pre-Trained Detection Transformers

Detection transformer models, including DETR and its extensions, learn to output a set of object-level embeddings that can be simultaneously decoded into 2D bounding boxes and class distributions. In this paper, we investigate what pre-trained 2D detection transformers understand about the 3D properties of objects. Specifically, we investigate the extent to which properties including the depth of objects from the camera and the 3D location of objects relative to the camera can be recovered from object-level embeddings using linear and non-linear probes. Across a range of detection transformer models, our results show a surprisingly strong and previously unknown ability of 2D DETR models to represent useful information about the 3D properties of objects, despite the complete lack of 3D supervision during model pre-training.

GaussianSelector: Lightweight Human-Guided Object Selection in 3D Gaussian Splatting with Graph Optimization

Selecting a complete 3D object from a reconstructed scene with minimal user effort is essential for practical scene editing and embodied interaction. Existing 3DGS-based methods either retrain the Gaussian representation to embed per-object labels, or build dense multi-view SAM observations, both requiring heavy computation and dense viewpoint coverage that is rarely available in practice. We present GaussianSelector, a training-free framework for interactive 3D object selection from sparse views and sparse scribble guidance. Operating directly on native Gaussian primitives, we coarsen dense Gaussians into geometrically coherent superpoints and construct a continuity-weighted graph using appearance and spatial cues. Sparse user scribbles are lifted into 3D via visibility-aware transmittance coverage, and selection is solved as a global graph-cut energy minimization that propagates sparse evidence to a complete 3D object. This design naturally supports multi-round refinement, where users iteratively correct the selection from additional viewpoints to progressively improve the result. Experiments demonstrate that GaussianSelector achieves competitive selection quality against state-of-the-art multi-view SAM-based methods, while requiring significantly fewer interaction views and substantially lower computational overhead. These properties make it well suited for human-in-the-loop 3D scene editing and 3D asset extraction in real-world deployment scenarios.

Struct-GStream: Towards Efficient Free-Viewpoint Video Streaming at Low-Bitrates with Structured 3D Gaussians

Constructing photorealistic Free-Viewpoint Videos (FVVs) of dynamic scenes from a set of posed 2D images has been an intriguing yet challenging task in computer vision. Methods based on neural rendering achieve high-fidelity image quality in FVV construction. However, most of these methods are unable to achieve real-time rendering and often require complete video sequences to train. Despite the existence of some online training methods capable of rendering FVVs in real time, they struggle to meet the requirements for storage and training time for downstream applications. To overcome this problem, we propose Struct-GStream, which can achieve efficient FVV streaming using structured 3D Gaussians (3DGs). Specifically, we introduce dynamic anchor points to generate structured 3DGs to construct basic scenes and model approximate scene movements based on the assumption of local rigidity in object motion. Besides, we introduce a global free 3DGs patching strategy involving free 3DGs' generation, pruning, and optimization to patch and model deficient areas and emerging objects. Our method achieves fast training at low bitrates while maintaining high rendering quality. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Struct-GStream significantly outperforms existing online training methods for FVV construction in terms of training time, storage, and rendering quality while maintaining competitive rendering speed.

GO-PRE: Goal-Oriented Next-Best-View Selection via Predictive Rendering Entropy for Active 3D Reconstruction

Active 3D reconstruction relies on active view selection to maximize reconstruction fidelity under limited capture budgets. However, most existing methods rely on surrogate signals such as parameter uncertainty or geometric heuristics, but these signals are often misaligned with the ultimate goal: the fidelity of rendered predictions. We propose GO-PRE, a goal-oriented next-best-view selection framework that explicitly targets information gain in the prediction space. Specifically, we formulate the objective as maximizing the reduction of the average marginal predictive entropy over a user-specified target view manifold. GO-PRE supports interactive goal specification and yields an efficient acquisition rule that enables real-time computation of information gain. Extensive experiments across benchmarks demonstrate that GO-PRE consistently improves active reconstruction performance and provides more reliable uncertainty quantification compared to state-of-the-art methods.

IndustryForge-27B: A Domain-Enhanced Multimodal Foundation Model for Industrial CAD

Automating industrial CAD design and manufacturing places distinctive demands on multimodal foundation models: the model must see engineering drawings and 3D geometry screenshots, write correct parametric-modelling scripts and Windows COM API code, and cover the full range from single parts to assemblies. General-purpose multimodal models fall short on these tasks, while single-task fine-tuning is too narrow to support the diverse calls that upper-layer agents issue. We build IndustryForge-27B on top of Qwen3.5-VL-27B by curating and integrating six industrial-CAD sub-corpora totalling ∼\sim52k multimodal samples---CAD Visual QA (CAD-VQA), parametric CAD code (text2cadquery), assembly-level CAD code (text2cadquery-assembly), and three COM sub-corpora for Inventor / SolidWorks (com_2d / com_3d / com_assembly)---and training with a unified multi-task SFT recipe. Across four CAD-domain benchmarks IndustryForge-27B lifts the base model by +33.65+33.65~pp on average and outperforms the strong closed-source model GPT-5.4 on all four; across eleven general-capability benchmarks it retains, and slightly improves upon, the base model (+1.56+1.56~pp mean, no catastrophic forgetting). IndustryForge-27B will serve as the common substrate for downstream industrial-agent projects, providing a unified starting point for a full-stack industrial agent that spans from CAD design to industrial-software operation, from parts to assemblies, and from single-shot generation to closed-loop self-improvement.

Wiring diagram extraction and gluing: a case study in classifying figure skating jumps using 3D dataset

Hasse clustering is an algorithm that extracts common patterns in sequential data and represents them in graphical forms. As the number of expected clusters grows, however, the algorithm can become infeasible to run due to combinatorial complexity. In this article, we describe a theory of gluing wiring diagrams, allowing iterative applications of Hasse clustering to achieve the same result as a single application. We test our theory in the context of classifying videos of figure skating jumps.

MeshFM: 2D Features Are All You Need for 3D Shape Understanding

We present MeshFM, an efficient feedforward framework for extracting rich features from 3D inputs. Our method distills 2D features from visual foundation models into 3D. We train a feedforward network to directly predict 3D features without requiring optimization during inference. The approach utilizes a two-stage training strategy. First, we optimize a feature field in 3D using only 2D feature supervision. Second, we train a network to regress this feature field. The entire procedure requires no 3D annotation, instead relying on the powerful information in 2D foundation models. We demonstrate that our learned features can be immediately applied to downstream tasks, including part segmentation, dense correspondence, and mesh deformation. Extensive experiments show that MeshFM, trained solely with 2D supervision, performs on par with methods trained explicitly with 3D supervision, even without task-specific fine-tuning. Moreover, our model is trained to be robust to extreme rotations of the input objects. Project page: https://threedle.github.io/MeshFM/

3DGBGS: 3D Granular Ball Gaussian Splatting for Compact Novel View Synthesis

Three-dimensional Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) enables high-quality real-time novel-view synthesis through explicit Gaussian primitives and differentiable rasterization. 3DGS and Granular Ball Computing (GBC), proposed in 2019, share a natural compatibility in adaptive representation. The efficiency of 3DGS partly stems from a coarse-to-fine and on-demand refinement process that draws on the generation principle of GBC. This connection motivates us to further introduce adaptive granular ball organization into anchor-based 3DGS. Existing anchor-based methods typically construct anchors from sparse SfM point clouds through fixed voxelization, which cannot adequately adapt to spatially non-uniform point distributions and leads to a trade-off among anchor count, model compactness, and rendering quality. To address this issue, we propose 3DGBGS (3D Granular Ball Gaussian Splatting), a compact anchor-based framework for novel-view synthesis. 3DGBGS adaptively partitions SfM point clouds into 3D granular balls, using larger balls to compactly represent smooth and redundant regions and smaller balls to preserve complex geometry and local details. Based on this representation, Granular Ball Anchor Initialization (GBAI) uses granular ball centers to initialize compact anchor positions, while the Granular Ball Scale Prior (GBSP) exploits granular ball radii to provide local scale priors for Gaussian generation. Experiments on four benchmarks show that 3DGBGS reduces initial and final anchors by 37.1% and 10.0%, respectively, and model storage by 9.8% on average, while maintaining comparable rendering quality.

UMI3D: Robust 3D Generation on Unconstrained Multi-Image Inputs via Simultaneous Focus Cross-Attention Routing

Recent 3D foundation models can generate high-quality assets from a single image, but degrade markedly on unconstrained multi-image inputs, often producing distorted geometry, over-smoothed textures, and chaotic colors. We argue that this failure stems not from limited model capacity, but from a mismatch between single-image cross-attention and the multi-image setting: existing models lack a principled way to decide which image each 3D voxel should trust at each denoising step. Revisiting recent single-image 3D foundation models, we show that explicitly routing each voxel to its most informative image is sufficient to unlock strong performance on inconsistent multi-image inputs. Based on this observation, we propose UMI3D, a training-free and plug-and-play framework that restructures cross-attention for unconstrained multi-image 3D generation. Its core, Simultaneous Focus Cross-Attention (SFC-Attn), activates all conditioning images at each denoising step while allowing each voxel to focus on the single image that best explains it. To enable this routing, we derive the Voxel Reference Score (VRS), a model-intrinsic metric for voxel--image affinity that requires no external matching, segmentation, or correspondence models. Extensive experiments show that UMI3D unlocks the multi-image potential of single-image 3D generation frameworks across diverse tasks. Project Page: UMI3D-Project.github.io.

Physics-Guided Generative AI for Property-Targeted 3D Porous Media Design

Inverse design of three-dimensional porous media is central to applications in filtration, catalysis, energy storage, fuel cells, thermal management, and biomedical scaffolds, but remains challenging because many distinct pore geometries can share similar porosity or permeability while small structural changes can strongly affect transport behaviour. This paper proposes a physics-guided generative AI framework for property-targeted porous media design, combining a property-aware variational autoencoder, a conditional latent diffusion model, and an independently trained differentiable structure-to-property surrogate. The framework learns a compact, physically informative latent design space, generates porous structures conditioned on target porosity and directional permeability, and refines generated samples using property-level feedback during denoising and decoding. Experiments on procedurally generated structures and real micro-CT porous-media datasets show improved target-property matching, directional permeability control, and property correlation compared with representative property-aware variational-autoencoder and latent-diffusion baselines. The results demonstrate a scalable route towards controllable inverse design of complex porous geometries and establish a foundation for simulation-informed generative AI tools in engineering and advanced materials discovery.

PriSAR: 3D Geometric-Prior-Guided Diffusion for Parameter-Controlled SAR Image Generation

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image generation can mitigate data scarcity, but controllablegeneration under sparse observation angles remains difficult. Recent SAR generative studies im-prove texture realism, yet explicit geometry-aware control is still limited. This paper studiesthe focused and verifiable setting of intermediate-azimuth completion: 3D-model-derived geo-metric priors guide a diffusion model to synthesize the views missing from sparse-angle trainingdata. GeoDiff-SAR constructs a lightweight multi-bounce ray-tracing prior, encodes the result-ing point cloud, and fuses it with text conditioning while adapting Stable Diffusion 3.5 Mediumthrough low-rank adaptation. On a real four-category aircraft dataset, GeoDiff-SAR reaches anSSIM of 0.812 and azimuth consistency of 0.940, compared with 0.738 and 0.782 for the text-conditioned SD3.5 Medium baseline. The same sparse-angle protocol on five MSTAR vehicleclasses yields an SSIM of 0.878 and azimuth consistency of 0.917. These results support theconclusion that a lightweight 3D geometric prior improves viewpoint adherence for controllableSAR generation; it is intended as generation guidance rather than high-fidelity electromagneticreconstruction.

SceneActBench: Can Agents Act on the 3D Scenes They See?

Vision-language model (VLM) agents increasingly use tools to act on 3D scenes rather than only describe them. Existing 3D benchmarks score textual responses or single-object operations, leaving agent action on complete multi-object 3D scenes under evaluated. We present SceneActBench, a benchmark for visually conditioned action across five 3D tasks under a unified agent-environment loop. Given PNG images or sampled video frames and, where applicable, supplied 3D assets, an agent acts on a 3D environment. We evaluate each final output against hidden ground truth with task-specific geometric metrics. SceneActBench comprises five tasks built from 210 source instances, yielding 520 task cases including paired input conditions. Every task runs through one fixed agent loop to keep the comparison fair. Across eleven proprietary VLM configurations, Overall scores span 38.6-50.2, and none performs consistently well across tasks. We further analyse where and how failures manifest.

Toward High-Fidelity 3D Point-Cloud Learning for Brain Folding Morphology Prediction Using Trans-Unet

Learning high-fidelity point-cloud features in the 3D space poses significant challenges, including permutation invariance, lack of local context, difficulty in fine-grained surface reconstruction, and high computational cost. In this article, we propose Trans-Unet, a novel framework that addresses these issues by first tansforming 3D point-cloud data into a 2D grid domain and then employing a U-shaped hybrid model that integrates Convolutional Neural Networks, and self-attention mechanisms. The proposed Trans-Unet effectively learns and reconstructs precise features from high-resolution 3D point-cloud data (with 40,401 points in surface and 2,382 points in fiber) derived from a predefined finite element brain patch growth model, enabling accurate prediction of brain folding patterns. By combining multiple techniques, Trans-Unet leverages the complementary strengths: the 3D-to-2D transformation preserves fine-grained structural information while significantly reducing computational cost and the curse of dimensionality; convolutional blocks capture hierarchical, low-level local representations; and the self-attention mechanism models global, high-level semantics and long-range dependencies. The dataset consists of 3D point-clouds containing both brain surface patches and fiber information generated by a large-scale finite element model. Trans-Unet is applied to predict brain surface folding from the initial state (state 0 or states 0-2) to the final state (state 3). Experimental results demonstrate that Trans-Unet achieves high-resolution predictions of brain patch growth, surpassing existing methods in both fidelity and accuracy.

3D-Aware VLMs with Implicit and Explicit Geometries

Despite rapid progress, most existing vision-language models (VLMs) built from 2D visual inputs often struggle when handling various 3D tasks that require fine-grained spatial understanding and reasoning. To bridge this gap, we present VLM-IE3D, a unified framework that enhances the 3D spatial awareness of VLMs by equipping them with both implicit and explicit 3D geometries learned from RGB videos. Our VLM-IE3D introduces Implicit Geometry Tokens (IGTs) that capture high-level geometric priors from input videos, as well as complementary Explicit Geometry Tokens (EGTs) that encode detailed geometric structures from reconstructed 3D attributes. On top of that, VLM-IE3D comes with a 3D-aware adapter that effectively fuses the two types of geometric representations with 2D visual cues. This RGB-only design injects strong 3D inductive biases for fine-grained spatial understanding and reasoning without requiring any additional 3D inputs. Extensive experiments show that VLM-IE3D achieves superior performance consistently across various 3D tasks including 3D video detection, 3D visual grounding, 3D dense captioning, and spatial reasoning. Axolotl3D: a Unified Framework for Faithful 3D Shape Completion

Recent 3D generative models produce high-quality geometry from a single image using large-scale priors and diffusion architectures. However, they assume complete visibility and single-view inputs, limiting applicability in multi-view, occluded, or editing scenarios. Although prior works address these challenges individually, they lack a unified framework for controllable 3D completion under diverse conditioning signals. We present Axolotl3D, a multi-modal and occlusion-aware 3D generation model that jointly conditions on images, visibility masks, camera parameters, and a partial point cloud. The point cloud serves as a geometric anchor promoting faithful shape completion, while camera parameters ensure consistent multi-view alignment in a shared 3D coordinate system. A unified training strategy synthesizes diverse conditioning regimes from large-scale 3D data, enabling robust cross-modal reasoning. Experiments on Toys4K and OmniObject3D demonstrate state-of-the-art performance under both clean and occluded settings, as well as strong results in real-world reconstruction and geometry-consistent editing.

Nova3D: Code-Native Generation of Programmable 3D Assets

Current 3D generative models mostly produce a final surface: a visually strong but largely opaque mesh. Interactive 3D worlds need more than a surface. They need named parts, an assembly hierarchy, measurable constraints, local edit handles, and joints for articulation. We present Nova3D, a system that generates 3D assets as executable Blender source code; the compiled mesh, a binary glTF (GLB), is treated as the artifact, not the asset. Because the output is a program, semantic handles exist at generation time rather than being recovered afterward by segmentation or rigging. We evaluate on Nova3D-Bench, a frozen, spec-grounded benchmark of 54 items across six domains and three difficulty levels with text and image inputs, against eleven baselines in four families (mesh-native, part-structured, code-native, and CAD) plus a same-LLM ablation. Nova3D produces an executable program and a valid artifact for 54/54 items. Every asset exposes named parts organized in a parent-child assembly tree; no mesh-native, CAD, or segmentation baseline exposes either. It satisfies 51/52 prompt-stated numeric and count constraints (best baseline: 11/52), passes 14/18 blinded local edits with locality preserved in 18/18, and articulates 59 joints across 12 assets at 98.3% geometric validity, where every baseline exposes zero native joints. Its geometry is competitive: it wins the structured domains in a pairwise shape-quality tournament and is second only to the strongest mesh-native model, while conceding texture realism to baked-PBR systems. The central result is representational: code-native generation turns a generated 3D object from an opaque surface into a programmable asset that downstream systems can inspect, measure, edit, and animate.

Calibration-Free 3D Multi-Camera People Tracking for Indoor Environment

Multi-Camera People Tracking (MCPT) traditionally relies on precise intrinsic and extrinsic camera calibration to project 2D detections into a unified 3D world coordinate system. However, manual calibration constitutes a major bottleneck in large-scale dataset generation from unconstrained video archives. This work proposes a unified calibration-free 3D MCPT framework that infers geometric structure directly from visual data using deep foundation models. The system integrates anchor-free detection (YOLOX), robust tracking (BoT-SORT), omni-scale appearance embedding (OsNet), pose estimation (HRNet via MMPose), and transformer-based geometric reconstruction using the Visual Geometry Grounded Transformer (VGGT). A pose-guided 3D lifting strategy projects head keypoints onto a reconstructed manifold, eliminating dependence on ground-plane homography. Global identity association is formulated as hierarchical agglomerative clustering under a joint appearance-geometry cost with strict velocity gating. Evaluation on the AI City Challenge 2024 demonstrates a HOTA score of 53.13% without access to ground-truth calibration matrices, establishing a strong baseline for purely vision-based 3D tracking.

CoGoal3D: Collaborative 3D Object Detection with 3D-Aware Fusion and Refinement

V2X collaborative object detection features overcoming the limitations of single-vehicle systems by aggregating environmental features from multiple collaborative agents. However, existing mainstream V2X perception methods mainly focus on 2D BEV object detection. When 3D detection task is concerned, inferior results are obtained because they ignore the 3D spatial misalignment caused by differing height and attitude among the collaborators. In this paper, we propose a novel collaborative 3D object detection framework called CoGoal3D, which extracts and refines the 3D feature gradually in a two-stage pipeline. In the first stage, a multiscale 3D-aware global fusion module is designed to mitigate the 3D spatial misalignment. The resulting proposals are then refined in the second stage with an auxiliary task of 3D point reconstruction. An effective multi-agent collaborative data augmentation strategy is further proposed to enrich the training data while minimizing information loss. Extensive experiments on public real-world datasets demonstrate that our CoGoal3D achieves new state-of-the-art performance, with 3D AP@0.7 improvements of 10.86%, 10.34%, and 10.18% on the DAIR-V2X, V2V4Real, and V2X-Real datasets, respectively. Reliability-Aware 3D Geometric Injection for Universal Person Re-identification

Universal person re-identification (ReID) aims to retrieve pedestrian identities across diverse real-world scenarios, including severe occlusions, clothing changes, and cross-modality shifts, within a unified model. However, existing 2D representations fundamentally struggle with spatial ambiguities due to a lack of depth and topological awareness, while naively introducing monocular 3D priors often causes severe negative transfer due to geometric estimation noise under extreme visual degradation. To safely harness the clothing-invariant and canonical structural properties of 3D geometry, we propose UniGeo, a Universal Monocular 3D-Enhanced ReID framework driven by a Consistency-Aware Reliability Gate and Dual-Stream Residual Fusion. Specifically, the processing of 3D information is strategically decoupled into geometric extraction and dynamic utilization. To provide pure structural compensation, we project monocular 3D parameters into kinematic joint representations, explicitly capturing instance-level geometric topology to resolve appearance-based ambiguities. To robustly incorporate these cues without perturbing the reliable 2D feature space, we isolate the 3D prior as a late-stage structural residual; modulated by the consistency-aware gate, this mechanism adaptively filters geometric noise and enables controlled fallback to the pure 2D baseline. Extensive experiments show that our method improves challenging, structure-sensitive scenarios while preserving competitive performance on clean domains. AniGS: Bridging Rendering and Diffusion Prior for 3D Scene Animation

Novel view rendering of large and complex reconstructed scenes is becoming increasingly photorealistic. However, most reconstructions remain static and lack the ambient motion that makes environments immersive. We present AniGS, a method for scene-level animation of 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) reconstructions that adds subtle, distributed dynamics, e.g., vegetation motion, while preserving rigid structures. Unlike existing 3D animation techniques which are limited to object-centric subjects or small regions, AniGS is designed for large, cluttered, navigable scenes. AniGS represents the scene with a canonical 3DGS and models motion using a time-conditioned deformation field. To animate the entire scene, we leverage a pretrained video diffusion model and introduce an iterative dataset--model update strategy that progressively expands viewpoint coverage and repeatedly updates camera-fixed training videos using a render-and-refine scheme. To prevent artifacts from unintended motion in static areas, we further introduce a composed video-to-video refinement scheme that restricts motion to desired regions. Experiments on five real-world, large-scale outdoor scenes demonstrate that AniGS produces natural ambient dynamics and high-quality novel view videos, enabling more immersive viewing experiences of reconstructed environments.

VGOcc: Learning Visual-Geometric Gaussians for Vision-Centric 3D Driving Occupancy Prediction

Vision-only occupancy prediction requires recovering a semantic 3D occupancy field from calibrated surround-view images, where each view provides observations with ambiguous depth along camera rays. Existing methods have progressed from dense structured representations to sparse Gaussian primitives, improving the efficiency of 3D scene representation. However, Gaussian learning still relies primarily on image domain features, which provide limited explicit geometric information for volumetric reasoning. Our key observation is that effective Gaussian occupancy modeling requires not only sparse primitives, but also richer geometric and semantic learning cues. In this paper, we propose VGOcc, which learns visual and geometric cues from foundation models for Gaussian modeling. VGOcc incorporates these cues into primitive initialization and refinement, yielding a representation termed Visual-Geometric Gaussians tailored to semantic occupancy prediction. Specifically, we propose Visual-Geometric Gaussian Birth to form spatially balanced Gaussian centers from ray depth hypotheses, while visual semantic features initialize primitive attributes. Next, we design Pose-Aware Feature Learning to combine foundation tokens with camera embeddings and calibrated ray information. Features from neighboring views are then aggregated at projected 3D locations for each Gaussian refinement stage. Finally, Gaussian decoder refines birth Gaussians with pose-aware features and renders them into semantic occupancy. Experiments on nuScenes demonstrate that VGOcc achieves state-of-the-art performance in vision-only 3D occupancy prediction. Codes will be available at https://github.com/JHLin42in/VGOcc.

QIRF Quantum-Inspired Non-Orthogonal Function-Space Compression for 3D Gaussian Splatting

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) achieves high-quality real-time rendering by representing a scene with a large collection of anisotropic Gaussian primitives. However, complex scenes often require millions of Gaussians, resulting in substantial storage and rendering costs. Existing compression methods mainly reduce redundancy through primitive-wise pruning, attribute quantization, clustering, or neural coding, while redundancy caused by strongly overlapping and non-orthogonal Gaussian basis functions remains largely unexplored. We present QIRF, a quantum-inspired non-orthogonal function-space compression method for 3D Gaussian Splatting. QIRF models neighboring Gaussian primitives as a local non-orthogonal basis and formulates primitive reduction as a subspace-aware selection problem. Specifically, an analytic Gaussian overlap matrix and a radiance-response density matrix are constructed to characterize functional redundancy and rendering relevance. Generalized eigendecomposition is then used to identify the dominant local subspace and select representative Gaussian primitives. An RRDM-based response model and detail-aware safeguarding further preserve visually important high-frequency structures under aggressive pruning. Experiments on 13 scenes from Mip-NeRF 360, Tanks and Temples, and Deep Blending show that QIRF reduces the Gaussian count and raw PLY storage by 71.7 percent on average, corresponding to approximately 3.54 times compression, while maintaining reconstruction quality comparable to 3DGS and achieving a marginal average PSNR improvement of 0.10 dB. QIRF also improves the average rendering speed over 3DGS by 34.3 percent. These results suggest that non-orthogonal function-space redundancy is an important yet underexplored source of representational redundancy in explicit Gaussian radiance fields.

SAMRI-3D: Adapting SAM2 for 3D MRI Segmentation with Global Volume Tokens

Foundation models such as Segment Anything Model 2 (SAM2) have transformed natural-image and video segmentation, and recent work has begun adapting them to medical imaging. These adaptations, however, are largely general-purpose models that treat MRI as one modality among many; large-scale, MRI-specific modelling and benchmarking remain limited, even though MRI's low soft-tissue contrast leaves many boundaries effectively invisible on individual slices. We present SAMRI-3D, a benchmark and method for 3D MRI segmentation with SAM2. The SAMRI-3D benchmark is the largest MRI-only evaluation to date - 10,392 volumes from 34 datasets (27 public, 7 in-house) spanning 12 anatomical domains and 10+ sequences, with explicit seen/unseen splits. Freezing the image encoder and fine-tuning only the lightweight decoder and memory modules raises mean Dice from 0.58 (zero-shot SAM2) to 0.76, surpassing recent SAM-based medical models (SAMed-2 0.69, Medical-SAM2 0.49, SAM-Med3D 0.37) with strong statistical significance. To target invisible boundaries, we introduce Global Volume Tokens (GVT): persistent memory tokens trained with a Truncated Signed Distance Field (TSDF) reconstruction objective that is discarded at inference (zero added cost). This full model, SAMRI-3D, attains the best accuracy (0.78) and lowest variance across all 34 datasets and, uniquely, shows no drop on 8 held-out datasets (0.79 unseen vs. 0.78 seen); per-sequence analysis confirms the TSDF objective helps most where per-slice contrast is weakest. We will release the benchmark, code, and models in this paper.

MuViSeg: Multi-View Segment Correspondences from Dense Geometry Priors

Classical image correspondence is solved at the level of sparse keypoints or dense pixels, but the systems that consume these matches - object-level mapping, topological navigation, scene-graph maintenance - reason about whole objects. Recent work narrows this gap by matchng directly at the level of instance segments: a class-agnostic segmenter partitions each image, and per-segment descriptors are obtained by pooling features from large 3D foundation models over the masks. We build on this segment-level matching paradigm and propose three learned matching heads: a LightGlue-style attention head with DoubleSoftmax scoring on frozen MASt3R descriptors; a DPT-style multi-scale fusion module that exposes layered spatial detail from the VGGT foundation model before pooling; and - as our main contribution - a multi-view extension that performs joint self-attention over segments drawn from several views at once, recovering transitive correspondences that strictly pairwise matchers cannot reach. Under a stratified zero-shot protocol on Replica and Virtual KITTI 2 with controlled viewpoint baselines from 0 deg to 180 deg, the LightGlue-style head improves over a parameter-free Sinkhorn matcher on the same MASt3R backbone by +4.85 AUPRC on Replica and +25.9 AUPRC on Virtual KITTI 2. Dropped into the RoboHop topological navigation pipeline on the Habitat-Matterport 3D (HM3D) Instance Image Navigation benchmark without retraining, our multi-view variant raises success rate from 50% to 70%, and our LightGlue-style head raises SPL from 45.7 to 59.1.

ThAME: 3D Memory-Enabled Heterogeneous Accelerator for LLM Mixture of Experts

Mixture of Experts (MoE) architectures have emerged as a dominant paradigm for scaling Large Language Models (LLMs). However, MoE inference on conventional hardware is constrained by three fundamental bottlenecks. These encompass the massive memory bandwidth required to fetch non-contiguous expert weights, the non-deterministic scatter-gather traffic generated by input-dependent token routing, and the tail-latency dependency imposed by synchronous expert output aggregation. To address these challenges, we propose ThAME, a three-dimensional (3D) heterogeneous multi-chiplet architecture for MoE inference. ThAME employs Ferroelectric Field-Effect Transistor (FeFET)-based non-volatile and DRAM-based volatile memory chiplets with a co-designed compute mapping strategy that aligns the distinct computational profiles of attention mechanisms and expert routing. Furthermore, we design a specialized Network-on-Chip communication backbone optimized to mitigate the bottlenecks associated with non-deterministic token routing traffic across the combinatorial space of input-dependent MoE traffic patterns. Experimental results demonstrate that ThAME outperforms state-of-the-art counterparts by up to 15.7x in terms of speedup and improves energy efficiency by up to 9.8x.

Splat-based 3D Scene Reconstruction with Extreme Motion-blur

We propose a splat-based 3D scene reconstruction method from RGB-D input that effectively handles extreme motion blur, a frequent challenge in low-light environments. Under dim illumination, RGB frames often suffer from severe motion blur due to extended exposure times, causing traditional camera pose estimation methods, such as COLMAP, to fail. This results in inaccurate camera pose and blurry color input, compromising the quality of 3D reconstructions. Although recent 3D reconstruction techniques like Neural Radiance Fields and Gaussian Splatting have demonstrated impressive results, they rely on accurate camera trajectory estimation, which becomes challenging under fast motion or poor lighting conditions. Furthermore, rapid camera movement and the limited field of view of depth sensors reduce point cloud overlap, limiting the effectiveness of pose estimation with the ICP algorithm. To address these issues, we introduce a method that combines camera pose estimation and image deblurring using a Gaussian Splatting framework, leveraging both 3D Gaussian splats and depth inputs for enhanced scene representation. Our method first aligns consecutive RGB-D frames through optical flow and ICP, then refines camera poses and 3D geometry by adjusting Gaussian positions for optimal depth alignment. To handle motion blur, we model camera movement during exposure and deblur images by comparing the input with a series of sharp, rendered frames. Experiments on a new RGB-D dataset with extreme motion blur show that our method outperforms existing approaches, enabling high-quality reconstructions even in challenging conditions. This approach has broad implications for 3D mapping applications in robotics, autonomous navigation, and augmented reality. Clarify Before Executing: A Self-Evolving Agent for Resolving Intent Asymmetry in 3D Tool Orchestration

A fundamental intent asymmetry plagues modern 3D asset creation: while state-of-the-art 3D toolchains demand precise, executable parameters, ordinary users typically provide vague, underspecified instructions. Current 3D agents treat this ambiguity as noise, defaulting to blind execution under a single-turn assumption. To address this limitation, we introduce CLARE, a clarification-aware and evolutionary 3D agent that treats intent asymmetry not as an execution error, but as an opportunity for strategic dialogue. By decoupling the generation pipeline into four specialized cognitive roles, CLARE intercepts and resolves underspecified instructions before invoking computationally expensive 3D tools to seamlessly execute tasks across five diverse domains: text-to-3D generation, single-view reconstruction, multi-view reconstruction, point cloud editing, and post-processing. Crucially, rather than relying on rigid manual rules, CLARE self-evolves its clarification policy via simulated multi-turn interactions. By optimizing a Multi-turn Reward, the agent internalizes the delicate balance between interaction efficiency and task completion. To rigorously test this, we construct 3D-Clarify, a comprehensive benchmark comprising 620 interaction scenarios with systematically injected ambiguity, missing information, and mistaken details. CLARE achieves state-of-the-art performance, with 60.40% and 43.34% success rates on single-step and multi-step tasks, respectively, more than doubling existing baselines. Both quantitative and qualitative results demonstrate that proactive clarification is the missing key to robust 3D execution. Code is available at https://github.com/xyzhu1225/CLARE.

Breaking the Model Forgetting Cycle in Long-Incremental 3D Object Detection

Incremental 3D object detection requires a detector to learn novel object classes while remembering previously learned ones over sequentially arriving data. Previous methods, primarily based on pseudo-labeling, perform reasonably in short-incremental stages but still suffer from severe model forgetting when dealing with long-incremental sequences. We investigate this failure and reveal a detrimental self-reinforcing cycle: data distribution shift of novel classes causes model forgetting on old classes, which further produces accumulated error in pseudo-labeling that exacerbates model degradation. To address this issue, we draw inspiration from the human learning process and propose the \emph{Learning-Dynamics-driven Memory and Review} (LDMR) framework. LDMR monitors per-class detection quality at periodic training checkpoints and uses these learning-dynamics signals to drive two innovative mechanisms, namely (i) human-like intra-stage review that divides each incremental stage into multiple sub-stages' training and concentrates on remembering the most-forgotten objects, and (ii) scene-aware cross-stage memory evolution that evolves a memory bank to transfer knowledge between two consecutive stages by jointly considering scene learnability and diversity. Extensive experiments across multiple long-incremental protocols on indoor benchmarks SUN RGB-D and ScanNetV2 show that LDMR substantially mitigates the model forgetting and outperforms all baselines by a clear margin. Human4K: A Large-Scale 4K Multi-View Mocap Dataset for Whole-Body 3D Human Reconstruction

Recent advances in 3D human reconstruction have improved overall performance, yet current models still fail in the most challenging real-world scenarios. They often produce unstable geometry, inaccurate limb articulation and unreliable predictions under depth ambiguity or self-occlusion. A key reason is that existing datasets still lack the combination of high-resolution images, high-precision annotations and diverse whole-body motions required to support robust reconstruction. To address this gap, we present Human4K, a large-scale 4K multi-view whole-body human reconstruction dataset with mocap-accurate SMPL-X annotations. Human4K contains over six million 4K images captured by an eight-view high-resolution camera system synchronized with a professional Vicon motion capture setup, covering 11 subjects performing complex, highly articulated and strongly self-occluded full-body motions. All sequences are processed by a Motion-Retargeting and Refinement Module (MRRM) to ensure precise alignment for the full body and extremities. Experimental results show that training with Human4K consistently improves whole-body reconstruction on standard benchmarks, with particularly large gains for hands, feet and depth-ambiguous limb configurations.

M2P-AD: Memory-to-Prototype Learning with Boundary-aware Score Refinement for 3D Anomaly Detection

3D anomaly detection has recently emerged as an important research topic in computer vision. Although existing methods have achieved high performance, excessive anomaly responses in normal regions and false positives near object boundaries remain unresolved challenges. To address these challenges, we propose a novel 3D anomaly detection model, Memory-to-Prototype Anomaly Detection (M2P-AD), which effectively models the distribution of normal features while suppressing excessive anomaly scores in normal regions and false positives near object boundaries. Specifically, we introduce a Memory-to-Prototype (M2P) module that learns representative prototypes from normal feature embeddings to preserve important structural information of objects. In addition, a Boundary extraction (BE) module is integrated to identify object boundaries, and a Boundary-aware score refinement (BSR) strategy is applied to recalibrate anomaly scores by incorporating boundary characteristics. The proposed method is evaluated on Real3D-AD, Anomaly-ShapeNet, and MulSen-AD, achieving state-of-the-art performance. Qualitative results demonstrate that excessive anomaly scores in normal regions are reduced and false positives near object boundaries are suppressed, resulting in more accurate and stable anomaly localization. The results indicate that the proposed approach enables more reliable 3D anomaly detection and provides a robust solution applicable to real-world industrial environments.

HIVE-3D: Hierarchical Voxel Enhancement for High-Quality 3D Scene Generation

Recently, a line of works can generate impressive 3D objects from a single image, but they are limited by restricted representation resolution, making them unsuitable for 3D scene generation. In this work, we introduce HIVE-3D, a novel method for high-quality 3D scene generation based on hierarchical voxel enhancement framework. Specifically, given a single scene image as input, we first produce a coarse initial scene, then introduce image segmentation and attention-based retrieval to align 2D image components with 3D scene components. Subsequently, we organize these scene relations into a hierarchical component tree, where nodes closer to the leaves denote finer-grained components. Finally, we propose a voxel super-resolution model that generates refined voxels for the target instance while maintaining strong consistency with the coarse voxels. Equipped with this model, we perform coarse-to-fine hierarchical super-resolution on images and voxels for each component, producing a high-resolution and high-quality 3D scene. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms previous approaches, achieving state-of-the-art performance.

TreeSRNF: Square-Root Normal Fields for Generative Modelling of the Geometric and Structural Variability in Tree-like 3D Objects

We introduce a novel mathematical framework for analyzing and generating complex tree-shaped 3D objects, such as botanical trees and plants, which deform both in their 3D geometry and branching structure. Unlike previous works, which either consider only the skeletal structure of tree-like objects or approximate their 3D geometry using branch thickness, the proposed framework accurately models both the 3D geometry of the tree branches and the way they are interconnected. In this paper, we first generalize the Square Root Normal Fields (SRNF) representation, originally proposed for the statistical analysis of genus-0 surfaces, to tree-shaped 3D objects. We then treat tree-shaped 3D objects as points on a novel Riemannian tree-shape space equipped with a novel Riemannian metric that measures the amount of surface bending and stretching, and structural changes one needs to apply to one 3D tree-shape to align it with another. This way, deformations become trajectories in this novel tree-shape space. We analyze the theoretical properties of this novel tree-shape space and the corresponding metric and develop algorithms for computing point-wise and branch-wise correspondences and geodesic paths between complex 3D trees. We finally show how to use these building blocks for (1) computing statistical summaries, \ie means and modes of variation, of collections of tree-shaped 3D objects, and (2) synthesizing novel tree-shaped 3D objects by sampling from probability distributions fitted to a population of tree-shaped 3D objects. We demonstrate the performance and utility of the proposed framework on real and synthetic plants and botanical trees and show that it significantly outperforms the state-of-the-art.

DiffGI: Differentiable Geometry Images for High-Fidelity Thin-Shell 3D Generation

Existing 3D generative models predominantly rely on implicit volumetric representations, which enforce watertight topology and struggle to represent thin-shell and non-manifold geometries such as garments. Geometry image-based approaches offer a surface-centric alternative, but existing methods rely on discrete binary occupancy maps whose resolution-dependent boundary encoding causes staircase artifacts and information loss upon downsampling, while surface reconstruction remains a non-differentiable post-processing step disconnected from the learning pipeline. To address this, we propose Differentiable Geometry Image (DiffGI), an end-to-end 3D-to-2D mapping framework that seamlessly integrates surface representation and geometric optimization. DiffGI replaces binary maps with a continuous 2D Truncated Signed Distance Function (TSDF), which encodes boundary position at subpixel precision within a fixed grid resolution, eliminating resolution-dependent staircase artifacts even under aggressive downsampling. Building on this continuous field, we introduce a differentiable Marching Squares algorithm based on analytical linear interpolation, allowing gradients from 3D surface losses to propagate back to the 2D latent space. Leveraging this differentiable pipeline, we train a DiffGI-VAE augmented with a geometry-aware normal rendering loss to compress complex 3D surfaces into an ultra-compact 32X32 latent space, and instantiate a transformer-based latent diffusion model with a flow-matching objective on top of this space for conditional 3D generation. Extensive experiments on garment and object datasets demonstrate that our method achieves superior reconstruction fidelity and boundary precision compared to prior geometry-image and voxel-based approaches, while requiring significantly fewer computational resources.

Towards end-to-end optimization in multimaterial 3D printing

Multimaterial 3D printing enables the fabrication of functionally graded components, but optimizing their spatial material distribution alongside structural topology remains a formidable challenge due to high-dimensional design spaces and complex constitutive modeling. This paper presents an end-to-end computational framework integrating sparsified physics-augmented neural networks with finite-element-based topology optimization. By extracting closed-form, composition-aware hyperelastic constitutive laws from experimental data, this approach facilitates exact symbolic differentiation via the adjoint state method implemented with FEniCSx, efficiently circumventing the bottlenecks of applying neural network constitutive models. This pipeline is deployed on soft robotic gripper applications, demonstrating continuous composition optimization for highly anisotropic contact responses, and the concurrent optimization of macroscopic topology and material distribution under non-failure stretch constraints. This methodology could replace laborious empirical prototyping, establishing interpretable machine-learning models as practical, robust design primitives for advanced multimaterial additive manufacturing.

ViCo3D: Empowering LiDAR-based Collaborative 3D Object Detection with Vision Foundation Models

LiDAR-based collaborative 3D perception in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) systems typically relies on fusing bird's-eye-view (BEV) features across agents. However, current BEV representations, typically extracted by LiDAR backbones trained from scratch, are geometry-dominated and lack general semantic priors, inherently limiting the efficacy of feature-level collaboration. Meanwhile, vision foundation models (VFMs) pretrained on large-scale image data have demonstrated strong capability in learning general-purpose and informative visual representations for 2D tasks, and have the potential to enhance agent-wise LiDAR BEV representations for collaboration. Despite this potential, adapting VFMs to LiDAR-based 3D detection remains challenging due to the substantial image-point cloud modality gap. To bridge this gap, we propose ViCo3D, a collaborative 3D object detection framework powered by VFMs. Specifically, ViCo3D adapts VFMs to LiDAR-based collaborative perception from three aspects: First, ViCo3D projects point clouds onto the BEV plane as three-channel images, enabling DINOv2 to extract BEV-space visual features from LiDAR inputs. Besides, to effectively integrate these DINOv2-derived features with LiDAR geometric features, ViCo3D introduces a multi-scale BEV fusion module within the single-agent encoder. In addition, ViCo3D adopts an ego-centric cross-agent fusion strategy to aggregate complementary information from multiple agents. Experiments on DAIR-V2X and V2XSet demonstrate that ViCo3D achieves state-of-the-art 3D detection performance. Remarkably, it delivers up to 1.8x greater collaborative gains than prior methods on DAIR-V2X. The code will be made public available for future investigation.

Compos3D: Interactive Part-Based Composition for Creative Control in Generative 3D Models

While generative AI has unlocked new opportunities for 3D content creation, current workflows often rely on multiple regenerations, which provides limited control and unpredictable outcomes. We present Compos3D, a system that introduces a compositional workflow for generative 3D modeling through remixing. Instead of repeatedly regenerating models, users generate multiple candidates from text or image prompts, select parts of interest via 2D image regions or 3D mesh segments, and assemble them into a coherent design. The system synthesizes these compositions into a refined 3D model, preserving high-level intent while resolving low-level geometry. To evaluate this approach, we conducted a controlled user study comparing remixing and regeneration workflows across both 2D and 3D modalities. Results show that the remixing workflow provides participants with greater creative control, stronger alignment with their intent, and higher satisfaction. We conclude with design recommendations for future AI-assisted 3D modeling workflows.

Action Map Policy: Learning 3D Closed-loop Manipulation via Pixel Classification

The action space poses a major challenge in robot learning, since it is often high-dimensional, can span long time horizons, and frequently admits multi-modal optimal solutions. A good choice of action representation and loss function can help to address these concerns, but there are often trade offs. We propose Action Map Policy (AMP), which casts 3D closed-loop manipulation policy learning as a classification problem in image space. While classification has been an effective formulation in generative language models, applying it to robot action learning is difficult because naively discretizing high-dimensional continuous actions explodes the token vocabulary. Our key idea is to project 3D actions onto the camera image planes and treat each pixel location as a discrete class, thus controlling dimensionality while retaining multi-modality. This method supports millimeter-level precision for high-dimensional actions without requiring a prohibitively large vocabulary, while preserving fine-grained pixel-wise visual signals. Furthermore, it can predict the entire action chunk in a single forward pass, avoiding complex noise scheduling and iterative denoising while achieving substantially faster inference than diffusion policies. Experiments on various manipulation tasks show that AMP outperforms strong baselines, achieving higher success rates, faster inference, and enhanced spatial reasoning.

Incremental Online Scene Reconstruction by 3D Gaussian Triangulation

Incremental scene reconstruction is essential for real-world applications. Although 3D Gaussian Splatting shows strong potential, most existing approaches require offline conversion of the optimized Gaussians into an intermediate implicit field for explicit mesh extraction, which hinders seamless integration with downstream tasks. To address this limitation, we propose a novel online framework that incrementally reconstructs and updates high-fidelity explicit meshes by directly triangulating a dense geometric Gaussian representation, which supports both high-quality rendering and incremental surface reconstruction. Moreover, we present a direct meshing algorithm that efficiently extracts and updates the mesh from the Gaussian set. To ensure mesh accuracy, we enforce a plane-based pulling constraint that dynamically aligns 3D Gaussian primitives to the approximated local surface. Furthermore, our framework significantly reduces memory and computational overhead during long-sequence processing by dynamically freezing fully optimized historical regions. Experiments on public datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms conventional Gaussian-based methods on both rendering quality and reconstruction accuracy.

Spectral Consistent Flow for One-step 3D Medical Image Translation

We present Spectral Consistent Flow (SC-Flow), a 3D medical image translation framework with a single function evaluation (1-NFE) in the latent space. This approach reformulates medical image translation as a stochastic Brownian bridge process that directly constructs a mapping between source and target modalities by predicting the support regularized mean velocity field. To mitigate modality entanglement, over-smoothing, and artifacts induced by the implicit low-pass modulation of the latent average velocity, we introduce a Spectral Consistency Corrector that dynamically regularizes the evolution of the power spectral density via learnable frequency-domain gain modulation. This mechanism establishes an explicit bridge between spatial textures and spectral energy flow, enabling the model to recover fine-grained anatomical fidelity while maintaining global structural coherence. Extensive experiments on four datasets demonstrate that SC-Flow delivers significantly more accurate, consistent, and robust performance across various translation scenarios.

LATO.2: Factorized 3D Mesh Generation with Vertex and Topology Flow

Flow matching over carefully designed latent representations has recently emerged as a powerful paradigm for topology-aware mesh generation. Existing approaches, however, model vertices and connectivity jointly in a joint latent space, entangling continuous vertex geometry with discrete combinatorial structure; this complicates flow learning and manifests as drifting vertices and broken surfaces. We present LATO.2, a factorized flow matching framework that decomposes mesh generation into a vertex flow followed by a connectivity flow conditioned on the realized vertices, with both stages anchored to a shared coarse voxel scaffold. Dedicated VAEs underpin the two stages, recovering vertices at sub-voxel precision and embedding discrete connectivity into a continuous latent space. We demonstrate two advantages unique to this factorization: (i) part-wise generation, in which the scaffold is partitioned and each part synthesized at full latent capacity, yielding substantially higher-resolution meshes than a monolithic latent permits; and (ii) topology-adaptive editing, in which manipulating first-stage vertices induces the corresponding connectivity without re-optimization. Experiments show that LATO.2 surpasses state-of-the-art topology-aware mesh generators in geometric fidelity and connectivity quality.

Autoregressive latent diffusion for 3D molecule generation

Three-dimensional (3D) molecule generation has been dominated by diffusion models, which achieve strong generation quality but typically require the molecular size to be specified a priori. Recent autoregressive approaches have substantially narrowed the performance gap while naturally supporting variable-length generation and conditioning on partial molecular context. However, balancing unconditional and context-conditioned generation remains challenging. We introduce KRONOS, a latent autoregressive diffusion framework that generates molecules in the latent space of a pre-trained autoencoder, jointly modeling molecular graph topology and geometry, while retaining the flexibility of autoregressive generation. We further introduce a mixed training strategy inspired by Fill-in-the Middle (FIM) paradigm, enabling both unconditional and fragment-conditioned molecular generation within a single left-to-right autoregressive model. Experiments on QM9 and GEOM-Drugs demonstrate that KRONOS achieves leading unconditional generation performance among autoregressive methods, while remaining competitive with diffusion models. Moreover, fragment-conditioned generation is achieved with negligible impact on unconditional generation performance, demonstrating that both generation paradigms can be supported within a single architecture.

Glob3R: Global Structure-from-Motion with 3D Foundation Models

Recent 3D geometric foundation models, such as VGGT, provide robust feed-forward 3D reconstruction by directly predicting camera poses and 3D scene points from input images. However, their results remain inaccurate, and scaling them to long sequences or large unordered image sets typically requires chunk-wise processing, which can introduce drift and inconsistency. We present Glob3R, a global SfM-style reconstruction built on 3D foundation models. Our key idea is to explicitly optimize feed-forward geometric predictions. To this end, we augment a frozen Pi3X backbone with a lightweight dense matching head that predicts image warps between selected reference frames and neighboring views. These dense warps are converted into sparse but reliable multi-view feature tracks, which provide correspondence constraints for global optimization. We further introduce a keyframe-based sliding-window association strategy that propagates tracks and relative poses across overlapping windows, enabling scalable reconstruction. Finally, we perform global motion averaging and bundle adjustment to refine camera poses, reduce scale inconsistencies, and recover dense scene geometry. Extensive experiments on indoor, outdoor, large-scale driving, and unordered SfM benchmarks demonstrate that Glob3R achieves robust and accurate reconstruction. It consistently improves over feed-forward foundation-model baselines and recent scalable reconstruction methods, while being more robust than classical SfM pipelines. The refined poses also lead to higher-quality neural rendering, validating the benefit of combining foundation-model priors with global geometric optimization. TSR-Ego: Temporally Guided Stereo Refinement Framework for Egocentric 3D Human Pose Estimation

Egocentric 3D human pose estimation from head-mounted stereo cameras is challenging due to fisheye distortion, severe self-occlusion, and frequent truncation of body joints outside the camera field of view. Recent stereo egocentric methods have improved performance through heatmap lifting, stereo correspondence, and transformer-based refinement, but they often rely heavily on frame-local evidence or use temporal information only as auxiliary pose-level context. This limits robustness when current-frame stereo cues are weak, occluded, or ambiguous. We propose TSR-Ego, a temporally guided stereo framework that couples short-term motion evidence with projection-guided feature sampling. The model first enriches dense stereo feature maps using a causal depthwise-separable temporal convolution, allowing past visual evidence to influence the feature space before deformable cross-attention. A single-stage causal stereo decoder then refines learned 3D joint queries through temporal self-attention, joint self-attention, and fisheye deformable stereo cross-attention, using the evolving pose estimate to generate 2D sampling references. Unlike methods that apply temporal reasoning mainly after pose prediction, TSR-Ego uses motion context to shape both the sampled stereo features and the joint representations while preserving online inference without future frames. Experiments on UnrealEgo2 and UnrealEgo-RW show state-of-the-art performance, with especially strong gains on real-world sequences.
