OneViewAll: Semantic Prior Guided One-View 6D Pose Estimation for Novel Objects

In many practical 6D object pose estimation scenarios, we often have access to only a single real-world RGB-D reference view per object, typically without CAD models. Existing methods largely rely on explicit 3D models or multi-view data, which limits their scalability. To address this challenging single-reference model-free setting, we propose \textbf{OneViewAll}, a semantic-prior-guided framework that performs pose estimation via a novel Project-and-Compare paradigm. Instead of relying on computationally expensive CAD-based rendering, our method directly aligns reference and query observations within a projection-equivariant space. OneViewAll progressively integrates hierarchical semantic priors across three levels: (1) \textit{category- and scene-level} priors for efficient hypothesis initialization; (2) \textit{object-level symmetry} priors for geometry completion via mirror fusion; and (3) \textit{patch-level} priors for discriminative refinement. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OneViewAll achieves \textbf{92.5%} ADD-0.1 accuracy on the LINEMOD dataset using only one real reference view -- significantly outperforming the CVPR 2025 baseline One2Any (52.6%). It also yields consistent improvements on YCB-V, Real275, and Toyota-Light while maintaining low inference latency. Our results underscore the efficacy of symmetry-aware projection in handling symmetric, texture-less, and occluded objects.

AdpSplit: Error-Driven Adaptive Splitting for Faster Geometry Discovery in 3D Gaussian Splatting

Adaptive density control in 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) repeatedly grows the Gaussian population through fixed-cardinality random splitting to discover useful scene structure. However, in vanilla 3DGS, its binary split operator requires many densification rounds to expose fine details, making it a bottleneck for efficient training schedules with fewer iterations. We introduce AdpSplit, an error-driven adaptive split operator that determines the number of split children and initializes the child parameters from L1-pixel-error region statistics, enabling fewer densification iterations, thus reduced training time, while preserving the rendering quality of full-schedule training. Across the MipNeRF360, Deep-Blending, and Tanks&Temples datasets, AdpSplit reduces the training time of multiple accelerated 3DGS pipelines by 9.2%-22.3% as a simple drop-in replacement for the standard split operator. With FastGS, AdpSplit matches the full-schedule PSNR on MipNeRF360 while reducing training time by 16.4%, corresponding to a 12.6x acceleration over vanilla 3DGS.

Knowledge Transfer Scaling Laws for 3D Medical Imaging

Vision foundation models are increasingly moving beyond 2D to volumetric domains such as 3D medical imaging, where unified pretraining across different imaging modalities (i.e. CT, MRI, and PET) could provide foundational models for diverse clinical tasks. However, training such models requires mixing heterogeneous imaging domains, and current mixture strategies remain largely heuristic. In this work, we observe that different medical imaging domains scale at variable rates during pretraining, and knowledge transfer between domains is strongly asymmetric: training on one domain can substantially improve another, but the reverse may be much weaker. Interestingly, both MAE reconstruction loss and cross-domain transfer follow predictable power-law trends with domain-specific behaviors. Motivated by these findings, we formulate data allocation as a scaling-law optimization problem. The derived allocations reveal an interpretable hub-and-island structure: highly transferable domains emerge as hubs that benefit many others and deserve strategic allocation, while isolated domains act as islands requiring direct investment. Empirically, transfer-aware allocation outperforms data-proportional sampling by up to 58% and generalizes well to unseen budgets with r=0.989. Downstream validation on disease classification and organ/lesion segmentation further confirms that the derived transfer-aware mixtures provide stronger pretrained representations for clinical 3D medical imaging tasks.

R3^3L: Reasoning 3D Layouts from Relative Spatial Relations

Relative spatial relations provide a compact representation of spatial structure and are fundamental to relative spatial reasoning in 3D layout generation. Recent works leverage Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) to infer such relations, but the inferred relations are often unreliable and are typically handled with post-hoc heuristics. In this paper, we propose R3^3L, a general framework that improves the reliability and consistency of relative spatial reasoning for 3D layout generation. Our key motivation is that multi-hop reasoning requires repeated reference-frame transformations, which accumulate errors in inferred relations and lead to semantic and metric drift. To mitigate this, we propose invariant spatial decomposition to break coupled relation chains, and consistent spatial imagination to promote self-consistency through an imagine-and-revise loop. We further introduce supportive spatial optimization to ease pose optimization via global-to-local coordinate re-parameterization. Extensive experiments across diverse scene types and instructions demonstrate that R3^3L produces more physically feasible and semantically consistent layouts. Notably, our analysis shows that resolving frame-induced inconsistencies is crucial for reliable multi-hop relative spatial reasoning. The code is available at https://github.com/Neal2020GitHub/R3L.

Spark3R: Asymmetric Token Reduction Makes Fast Feed-Forward 3D Reconstruction

Feed-forward 3D reconstruction models based on Vision Transformers can directly estimate scene geometry and camera poses from a small set of input images, but scaling them to video inputs with hundreds or thousands of frames remains challenging due to the quadratic cost of global attention layers. Recent token-merging methods accelerate these models by compressing the token sequence within the global attention layers, but they apply a uniform reduction to query tokens and key-value tokens, ignoring their functionally distinct roles in 3D reconstruction. In this work, we identify a key property of feed-forward 3D reconstruction models: query tokens encode view-specific geometric requests and are sensitive to compression, while key-value tokens represent shared scene context and tolerate aggressive compression. Guided by this insight, we propose Spark3R, a training-free acceleration framework that decouples the compression of query tokens and key-value tokens by assigning distinct reduction factors, with intra-group token merging applied to query tokens and lightweight token pruning to key-value tokens. Additionally, Spark3R adaptively adjusts the key-value reduction factor across layers, further improving the quality-efficiency trade-off. As a plug-and-play framework requiring no retraining, Spark3R integrates directly into multiple pretrained feed-forward 3D reconstruction models, including VGGT, π3π^3, Depth-Anything-3, and VGGT-ΩΩ, and achieves up to 28×28\times speedup on 1,000-frame inputs while maintaining competitive reconstruction quality.

OpenGaFF: Open-Vocabulary Gaussian Feature Field with Codebook Attention

Understanding open-vocabulary 3D scenes with Gaussian-based representations remains challenging due to fragmented and spatially inconsistent semantic predictions across multi-view observations. In this paper, we present OpenGaFF, a novel framework for open-vocabulary 3D scene understanding built upon 3D Gaussian Splatting. At the core of our method is a Gaussian Feature Field that models semantics as a continuous function of Gaussian geometry and appearance. By explicitly conditioning semantic predictions on geometric structure, this formulation strengthens the coupling between geometry and semantics, leading to improved spatial coherence across similar structures in 3D space. To further enforce object-level semantic consistency, we introduce a structured codebook that serves as a set of shared semantic primitives. Furthermore, a codebook-guided attention mechanism is proposed to retrieve language features via similarity matching between query embeddings and learned codebook entries, enabling robust open-vocabulary reasoning while reducing intra-object feature variance. Extensive experiments on standard 2D and 3D open-vocabulary benchmarks demonstrate that our method consistently outperforms prior approaches, achieving improved segmentation quality, stronger 3D semantic consistency and a semantically interpretable codebook that provides insight into the learned representation.

Geometry-Aware Simplicial Message Passing

The Weisfeiler--Lehman (WL) test and its simplicial extension (SWL) characterize the combinatorial expressivity of message passing networks, but they are blind to geometry, i.e., meshes with identical connectivity but different embeddings are indistinguishable. We introduce the Geometric Simplicial Weisfeiler--Lehman (GSWL) test, which incorporates vertex coordinates into color refinement for geometric simplicial complexes. In addition, we show that (i) the expressivity of geometry-aware simplicial message passing schemes is bounded above by GSWL, and (ii) that there exist parameters such that the discriminating power of GSWL is matched by these schemes on any fixed finite family of geometric simplicial complexes. Combined with the Euler Characteristic Transform (ECT), a complete invariant for geometric simplicial complexes, this yields a geometric expressivity characterization together with an approximation framework. Experiments on synthetic and mesh datasets serve to validate our theory, showing a clear hierarchy from combinatorial to geometry-aware models.

Align3D-AD: Cross-Modal Feature Alignment and Dual-Prompt Learning for Zero-shot 3D Anomaly Detection

Zero-shot 3D anomaly detection aims to identify anomalies without access to training data from target categories. However, existing methods mainly rely on projecting 3D observations into multi-view representations that primarily capture geometric cues rather than realistic visual semantics and process them with vision encoders pretrained on RGB data, leading to a significant domain gap between the encoder and the projected representations. To address this issue, we propose Align3D-AD, a unified two-stage framework that leverages the RGB modality from auxiliary categories as cross-modal guidance for zero-shot 3D anomaly detection. First, we introduce a cross-modal feature alignment paradigm that maps rendering features into the RGB semantic space. Unlike prior works that implicitly rely on pretrained encoders, our method enables direct semantic transfer from RGB observations. A semantic consistency reweighting strategy is further introduced to refine feature alignment by reweighting local regions according to holistic semantic consistency. Second, we propose a modality-aware prompt learning framework with dual-prompt contrastive alignment. By assigning independent prompts to RGB-aligned and rendering features, our method captures complementary semantics across modalities, while the contrastive alignment further enhances prompt representations to improve discriminability. Extensive experiments on MVTec3D-AD, Eyecandies, and Real3D-AD demonstrate that Align3D-AD consistently outperforms existing zero-shot methods under both one-vs-rest and cross-dataset settings, highlighting its generalization capability and robustness. Code and the dataset will be made available once our paper is accepted.

Sparse-to-Complete: From Sparse Image Captures to Complete 3D Scenes

We introduce S2C-3D, a novel sparse-view 3D reconstruction framework for high-fidelity and complete scene reconstruction from as few as six to eight images. Our framework features three components: a specialized diffusion model for scene-specific image restoration, a training-free view-consistency conditioned sampling process in the diffusion model for refined Gaussian optimization, and a camera trajectory planning scheme to ensure comprehensive scene coverage. The specialized diffusion model is developed by finetuning a pretrained architecture on the input views and their corresponding degraded counterparts. The adaptation to the scene distribution allows the model to repair Gaussian renderings while effectively eliminating domain gaps. Meanwhile, the trajectory planning scheme optimizes scene coverage by connecting each newly sampled camera to its two nearest neighbors. By iteratively constructing paths and retaining only those that significantly enhance visibility, the scheme establishes a trajectory that covers the entire scene. To address multi-view conflicts, the view-consistency conditioned sampling process quantifies the consistency between neighboring repaired images. This information is injected as a condition into the sampling process of the frozen diffusion model, facilitating the generation of view-consistent images without additional training. Consequently, our approach produces high-fidelity 3D Gaussians that are robust to artifacts. Experimental results demonstrate that S2C-3D outperforms state-of-the-art methods, constructing high-quality scenes that are free from missing regions, blurring, or other artifacts with very sparse inputs. Tamaththul3D: High-Fidelity 3D Saudi Sign Language Avatars from Monocular Video

Existing 3D sign language avatar reconstruction methods are developed and evaluated exclusively on Western sign languages, and no 3D parametric annotations exist for any Arabic Sign Language dataset, a gap that blocks the development of avatar-based accessibility applications for the Arab Deaf community. We release the first SMPL-X parametric annotations for the Ishara-500 Saudi Sign Language dataset, enabling quantitative evaluation and downstream sign language generation for Arabic Sign Language. We introduce Tamaththul3D, a reconstruction pipeline that aligns hand and body estimates through geometric inverse kinematics on the forearm chain followed by 2D-supervised shoulder refinement. The closed-form integration is decoupled from the specific choice of body and hand estimators: any SMPL-X-compatible body estimator and any MANO-compatible hand estimator can be substituted, as we demonstrate by swapping each module independently. Tamaththul3D achieves up to 32% lower hand error than prior methods, runs 32x faster than the strongest baseline, and generalizes across five typologically distinct sign languages without dataset-specific adaptation.

Aes3D: Aesthetic Assessment in 3D Gaussian Splatting

As 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) gains attention in immersive media and digital content creation, assessing the aesthetics of 3D scenes becomes important in helping creators build more visually compelling 3D content. However, existing evaluation methods for 3D scenes primarily emphasize reconstruction fidelity and perceptual realism, largely overlooking higher-level aesthetic attributes such as composition, harmony, and visual appeal. This limitation comes from two key challenges: (1) the absence of general 3DGS datasets with aesthetic annotations, and (2) the intrinsic nature of 3DGS as a low-level primitive representation, which makes it difficult to capture high-level aesthetic features. To address these challenges, we propose Aes3D, the first systematic framework for assessing the aesthetics of 3D neural rendering scenes. Aes3D includes Aesthetic3D, the first dataset dedicated to 3D scene aesthetic assessment, built on our proposed annotation strategy for 3D scene aesthetics. In addition, we present Aes3DGSNet, a lightweight model that directly predicts scene-level aesthetic scores from 3DGS representations. Notably, our model operates solely on 3D Gaussian primitives, eliminating the need for rendering multi-view images and thus reducing computational cost and hardware requirements. Through aesthetics-supervised learning on multi-view 3DGS scene representations, Aes3DGSNet effectively captures high-level aesthetic cues and accurately regresses aesthetic scores. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach achieves strong performance while maintaining a lightweight design, establishing a new benchmark for 3D scene aesthetic assessment. Code and datasets will be made available in a future version.

ConsisVLA-4D: Advancing Spatiotemporal Consistency in Efficient 3D-Perception and 4D-Reasoning for Robotic Manipulation

Current Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models primarily focus on mapping 2D observations to actions, but exhibit notable limitations in spatiotemporal perception and reasoning: 1) spatial representations often rely on additional sensors, introducing substantial computational overhead; 2) visual reasoning is typically limited to future-frame prediction, lacking alignment with the instruction-grounded scene and thus compromising spatiotemporal consistency. To address these challenges, we propose ConsisVLA-4D, a unified and efficient framework that enhances spatiotemporal consistency in 3D perception and 4D reasoning. Specifically, we design: 1) CV-Aligner, which ensures cross-view object semantic consistency by filtering instruction-relevant regions and aligning object identities across multiple viewpoints; 2) CO-Fuser, which guarantees cross-object spatial geometric consistency by eliminating spatial relation ambiguities between objects across views using compact latent representations. Building upon these, we introduce 3) CS-Thinker to achieve cross-scene spatiotemporal consistency as actions unfold. It learns implicit knowledge of local dynamics from object-semantic tokens of CV-Aligner and global depth from geometric tokens of CO-Fuser, thereby enhancing efficient visual reasoning under scene variations. Extensive experiments demonstrate that, benefiting from its efficient spatiotemporal consistency design, ConsisVLA-4D achieves 21.6% and 41.5% performance improvements, along with 2.3-fold and 2.4-fold inference speedups compared to OpenVLA on the LIBERO benchmark and real-world platforms, respectively.ConsisVLA-4D is open-sourced and publicly available at

CARD: A Multi-Modal Automotive Dataset for Dense 3D Reconstruction in Challenging Road Topography

Autonomous driving must operate across diverse surfaces to enable safe mobility. However, most driving datasets are captured on well-paved flat roads. Moreover, recent driving datasets primarily provide sparse LiDAR ground truth for images, which is insufficient for assessing fine-grained geometry in depth estimation and completion. To address these gaps, we introduce CARD, a multi-modal driving dataset that delivers quasi-dense 3D ground truth across continuous sequences rich in speed bumps, potholes, irregular surfaces and off-road segments. Our sensor suite includes synchronized global-shutter stereo cameras, front and rear LiDARs, 6-DoF poses from LiDAR-inertial odometry, per-wheel motion traces, and full calibration. Notably, our multi-LiDAR fusion yields ~500K valid depth pixels per frame, about 6.5x more than KITTI Depth Completion and 10x more on average than other public driving datasets. The dataset spans ~110 km and 4.7 hours across Germany and Italy. In addition, CARD provides 2D bounding boxes targeting road-topography irregularities, enabling accurate benchmarking for both geometry and perception tasks. Furthermore, we establish a standardized evaluation protocol for road surface irregularities on CARD and benchmark state-of-the-art depth estimation models to provide strong baselines. The CARD dataset is hosted on https://huggingface.co/CARD-Data.

3D Ultrasound-Derived Pseudo-CT Synthesis Using a Transformer-Augmented Residual Network for Real-Time Operator Guidance

Computed tomography (CT) is indispensable for clinical diagnosis and image-guided interventions but exposes patients to ionizing radiation, motivating the development of safer imaging alternatives. Ultrasound (US) is non-ionizing and widely accessible; however, it is highly operator dependent and lacks quantitative tissue characterization, often leading to diagnostic uncertainty and unnecessary CT examinations. This work presents a 3D ultrasound-derived pseudo-CT (UD-pCT) framework that generates CT-like anatomical reference volumes inferred from US, without aiming to reproduce physically accurate Hounsfield Units. Paired 3D kidney US and CT volumes from the TRUSTED dataset are first spatially aligned using a landmark-based multimodal registration pipeline, creating high-quality paired inputs for supervised training of an adversarial framework. The proposed Bottleneck Transformer Residual U-Net3D (BT-ResUNet3D) model employs a 3D residual encoder-decoder generator augmented with a transformer bottleneck, enabling effective modeling of fine-grained local anatomical structures as well as long-range volumetric dependencies, while a 3D Conditional PatchGAN discriminator enforces local structural realism in the synthesized pseudo-CT volumes. Quantitative evaluation using PSNR and SSIM demonstrates that the proposed method outperforms established baselines in structural fidelity and perceptual image quality. The UD-pCT volumes provide real-time anatomical reference for operator guidance, potentially reducing acquisition variability and unnecessary CT use. A limitation of this study is the relatively small paired dataset, which may limit the generalizability of the proposed model.

Ilov3Splat: Instance-Level Open-Vocabulary 3D Scene Understanding in Gaussian Splatting

We introduce Ilov3Splat, a novel framework for instance-level open-vocabulary 3D scene understanding built on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3D-GS). Most prior work depends on 2D rendering-based matching or point-level semantic association, which undermines cross-view consistency, lacks coherent instance-level reasoning, and limits precision in downstream 3D tasks. To address these limitations, our method jointly optimizes scene geometry and semantic representations by augmenting Gaussian splats with view-consistent feature fields. Specifically, we leverage multi-resolution hash embedding to efficiently encode language-aligned CLIP features, enabling dense and coherent language grounding in 3D space. We further train an instance feature field using contrastive loss over SAM masks, supporting fine-grained object distinction across views. At inference time, CLIP-encoded queries are matched against the learned features, followed by two-stage 3D clustering to retrieve relevant Gaussian groups. This enables our framework to identify arbitrary objects in 3D scenes based on natural language descriptions, without requiring category supervision or manual annotations. Experiments on standard benchmarks demonstrate that Ilov3Splat outperforms prior open-vocabulary 3D-GS methods in both object selection and instance segmentation, offering a flexible and accurate solution for language-driven 3D scene understanding. UniCorrn: Unified Correspondence Transformer Across 2D and 3D

Visual correspondence across image-to-image (2D-2D), image-to-point cloud (2D-3D), and point cloud-to-point cloud (3D-3D) geometric matching forms the foundation for numerous 3D vision tasks. Despite sharing a similar problem structure, current methods use task-specific designs with separate models for each modality combination. We present UniCorrn, the first correspondence model with shared weights that unifies geometric matching across all three tasks. Our key insight is that Transformer attention naturally captures cross-modal feature similarity. We propose a dual-stream decoder that maintains separate appearance and positional feature streams. This design enables end-to-end learning through stack-able layers while supporting flexible query-based correspondence estimation across heterogeneous modalities. Our architecture employs modality-specific backbones followed by shared encoder and decoder components, trained jointly on diverse data combining pseudo point clouds from depth maps with real 3D correspondence annotations. UniCorrn achieves competitive performance on 2D-2D matching and surpasses prior state-of-the-art by 8% on 7Scenes (2D-3D) and 10% on 3DLoMatch (3D-3D) in registration recall. Large-Scale High-Quality 3D Gaussian Head Reconstruction from Multi-View Captures

We propose HeadsUp, a scalable feed-forward method for reconstructing high-quality 3D Gaussian heads from large-scale multi-camera setups. Our method employs an efficient encoder-decoder architecture that compresses input views into a compact latent representation. This latent representation is then decoded into a set of UV-parameterized 3D Gaussians anchored to a neutral head template. This UV representation decouples the number of 3D Gaussians from the number and resolution of input images, enabling training with many high-resolution input views. We train and evaluate our model on an internal dataset with more than 10,000 subjects, which is an order of magnitude larger than existing multi-view human head datasets. HeadsUp achieves state-of-the-art reconstruction quality and generalizes to novel identities without test-time optimization. We extensively analyze the scaling behavior of our model across identities, views, and model capacity, revealing practical insights for quality-compute trade-offs. Finally, we highlight the strength of our latent space by showcasing two downstream applications: generating novel 3D identities and animating the 3D heads with expression blendshapes.

Enhanced 3D Brain Tumor Segmentation Using Assorted Precision Training

A brain tumor is a medical disorder faced by individuals of all demographics. Medically, it is described as the spread of non-essential cells close to or throughout the brain. Symptoms of this ailment include headaches, seizures, and sensory changes. This research explores two main categories of brain tumors: benign and malignant. Benign spreads steadily, and malignant expresses growth, making it dangerous. Early identification of brain tumors is a crucial factor for the survival of patients. This research provides a state-of-the-art approach to the early identification of tumors within the brain. We implemented the SegResNet architecture, a widely adopted architecture for three-dimensional segmentation, and trained it using the automatic multi-precision method. We incorporated the dice loss function and dice metric for evaluating the model. We got a dice score of 0.84. For the tumor core, we got a dice score of 0.84; for the whole tumor, 0.90; and for the enhanced tumor, we got a score of 0.79.

3D Human Face Reconstruction with 3DMM face model from RGB image

Nowadays as convolution neural networks demonstrate its powerful problem-solving ability in the area of image processing, efforts have been made to reconstruct detailed face shapes from 2D face images or videos. However, to make the full use of CNN, a large number of labeled data is required to train the network. Coarse morphable face model has been used to synthesize labeled data. However, it is hard for coarse morphable face models to generate photo-realistic data with detail such as wrinkles. In this project, we present a pipeline that reconstructs a human face 3D model from a single RGB image. Learning Discriminative Signed Distance Functions from Multi-scale Level-of-detail Features for 3D Anomaly Detection

Detecting anomalies from 3D point clouds has received increasing attention in the field of computer vision, with some group-based or point-based methods achieving impressive results in recent years. However, learning accurate point-wise representations for 3D anomaly detection faces great challenges due to the large scale and sparsity of point clouds. In this study, a surface-based method is proposed for 3D anomaly detection, which learns a discriminative signed distance function using multi-scale level-of-detail features. We first present a Noisy Points Generation (NPG) module to generate different types of noise, thereby facilitating the learning of discriminative features by exposing abnormal points. Then, we introduce a Multi-scale Level-of-detail Feature (MLF) module to capture multi-scale information from a point cloud, which provides both fine-grained local and coarse-grained global feature information. Finally, we design an Implicit Surface Discrimination (ISD) module that leverages the extracted multi-scale features to learn an implicit surface representation of point clouds, which effectively trains a signed distance function to distinguish between abnormal and normal points. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves an average object-level AUROC of 92.1% and 85.9% on the Anomaly-ShapeNet and Real3D-AD datasets, outperforming the current best approach by 2.1% and 3.6%, respectively. MK-ResRecon: Multi-Kernel Residual Framework for Texture-Aware 3D MRI Refinement from Sparse 2D Slices

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) acquisition remains a time-intensive and patient-straining process, as prolonged scan dura- tions increase the likelihood of motion artifacts, which degrade image quality and frequently require repeated scans. To address these chal- lenges, we propose a novel framework with two models MK-ResRecon and IdentityRefineNet3D to reconstruct high-fidelity 3D MRI volumes from sparsely sampled 2D slices-requiring only 12.5% of the axial slices for full resolution 3D reconstruction. MK-ResRecon predicts missing in- termediate 2D slices using a multi-kernel texture-aware loss, preserving fine anatomical details. IdentityRefineNet3D refines the predicted slices and the original sparse slices as a single 3D volume to obtain a smooth anatomical structure. We train the models on a large T1-sequence POST- contrast brain MRI dataset and evaluate on a large heterogeneous brain MRI cohort. The work provides accurate, hallucination-free, generaliz- able and clinically validated framework for 3D MRI reconstruction from highly sparse inputs and enables a clinically viable path towards faster and more patient-friendly MRI imaging.

Super-Resolution of Airborne Laser Scanning Point Clouds for Forest Inventory

Airborne Laser Scanning (ALS) can collect point clouds across large areas, enabling large-scale forest inventory. However, ALS point clouds are sparse and noisy, resulting in inaccurate individual-tree-level forest inventory, such as stem localization and tree size estimation. To overcome this problem, we propose a deep learning model, 3D Forest Super Resolution (3DFSR), to simultaneously improve point density and reduce noise for ALS forest point cloud. 3DFSR is a voxel-based CNN with a U-Net architecture. The proposed 3DFSR is evaluated on ALS point clouds collected in both temperate forests in the U.S. and boreal forests in Germany. Experimental results demonstrate that 3DFSR can generate finer point clouds of tree structure than other state-of-the-art point cloud super-resolution algorithms, achieving 0.249 m Chamfer Distance and 2.711 m Hausdorff Distance. Furthermore, to verify the effectiveness of 3DFSR point clouds in forest inventory, we conduct stem detection, DBH measurements, and stem reconstruction on both original ALS point clouds and 3DFSR enhanced point clouds. We find that stem detection and reconstruction algorithms developed for TLS/MLS point clouds can directly work on our 3DFSR point clouds, and DBH can be derived with circle-fitting method. F1 score of stem detection is improved from 0.71 on original ALS point clouds to 0.97 on 3DFSR point clouds; DBH estimation improves from 13.45 cm RMSE using allometric equations to 6.43 cm using circle fitting; comparing to stems reconstruction from MLS point clouds, stem reconstructed from 3DFSR point clouds has 0.170 m of Chamfer Distance and 0.377 m of Hausdorff Distance, and 0.95 R2 volume estimation. Finally, we find that the proposed 3DFSR is applicable to process point densities from 10 to 1700 points/m2; it also can be generalized across data collected from different LiDAR platforms without transfer learning.

SimPB++: Simultaneously Detecting 2D and 3D Objects from Multiple Cameras

Simultaneous perception of 2D objects in perspective view and 3D objects in Bird's Eye View (BEV) is challenging for multi-camera autonomous driving. Existing two-stage pipelines use 2D results only as a one-time cue for 3D detection. We propose SimPB++, which simultaneously detects 2D objects in perspective and 3D objects in BEV from multiple cameras. It unifies both tasks into an end-to-end model with a hybrid decoder architecture, coupling multi-view 2D and 3D decoders interactively. Two novel modules enable deep interaction: Dynamic Query Allocation adaptively assigns 2D queries to 3D candidates, and Adaptive Query Aggregation refines 3D representations using multi-view 2D features, forming a cyclic 3D-2D-3D refinement. For multi-view 2D detection, we use Query-group Attention for intra-group communication. We also design a Crop-and-Scale strategy for long-range perception and a Propagating Denoising strategy with an auxiliary RoI detector. SimPB++ supports mixed supervision with 2D-only and fully annotated data, reducing reliance on expensive 3D labels. Experiments show state-of-the-art performance on nuScenes for both tasks and strong long-range detection (up to 150m) on Argoverse2.

Adaptive Texture-aware Masking for Self-Supervised Learning in 3D Dental CBCT Analysis

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is pivotal for 3D diagnostic imaging in dentistry. However, the development of robust AI models for volumetric analysis is often constrained by the scarcity of large, annotated datasets. Self-supervised learning (SSL), particularly Masked Image Modeling (MIM), offers a promising pathway to leverage unlabeled data. A limitation of standard MIM is its reliance on random masking, which fails to prioritize diagnostically critical regions in dental CBCT volumes, such as subtle pathological changes and intricate anatomical boundaries. To address this, we propose ATMask, a novel adaptive masking strategy. Instead of applying random masks or employing computationally intensive attention modules, ATMask computes an inter-slice texture variation map to identify regions with high structural or textural complexity. These high-variation areas are then selectively masked during pre-training, compelling the model to learn richer contextual representations essential for inferring complex 3D morphological transitions. Furthermore, we contribute the first large-scale CBCT dataset, curated from both public and private sources, comprising 6,314 scans, for the dental AI model pretraining. Extensive experiments on three downstream dental CBCT tasks demonstrate that our ATMask enables more data-efficient and powerful representation learning than standard random masking and other advanced SSL baselines. The dataset and code will be released.

VoxAfford: Multi-Scale Voxel-Token Fusion for Open-Vocabulary 3D Affordance Detection

Open-vocabulary 3D affordance detection requires localizing interaction regions on point clouds given novel affordance descriptions. Recent methods extend multimodal large language models (MLLMs) with special output tokens that are decoded into segmentation masks. However, these tokens are produced through autoregressive generation, which models sequential dependencies rather than spatial neighborhood relations, leaving them semantically rich but spatially impoverished for 3D localization. We propose Voxel-enhanced Affordance detection (VoxAfford), which bypasses this bottleneck by injecting multi-scale geometric features from a frozen pre-trained 3D VQVAE encoder into the output tokens after generation. Each output token uses its affordance semantics as a query to retrieve relevant geometric patterns from its paired voxel scale via cross-attention, with a learned compatibility gate controlling the injection strength. The enhanced tokens are then aggregated into a spatially-aware affordance prompt through semantic-conditioned attention and propagated alongside per-point features to generate the final mask. Experiments on open-vocabulary affordance detection tasks show that VoxAfford achieves state-of-the-art performance with approximately an 8% improvement in mIoU, and real robot experiments confirm zero-shot transfer to novel objects.

Modeling Subjective Urban Perception with Human Gaze

Urban perception describes how people subjectively evaluate urban environments, shaping how cities are experienced and understood. Existing computational approaches primarily model urban perception directly from street view images, but largely ignore the human perceptual process through which such judgments are formed. In this paper, we introduce Place Pulse-Gaze, an urban perception dataset that augments street view images with synchronized eye-tracking recordings and individual perception labels. Based on this dataset, we propose a Gaze-Guided Urban Perception Framework to study how gaze behavior contributes to the modeling of subjective urban perception. The framework systematically investigates three complementary settings: gaze-only modeling, gaze fusion with explicit semantic scene representations, and gaze fusion with implicit richer visual representations. Experiments show that gaze alone already carries useful predictive signals for subjective urban perception, and that integrating gaze with scene representations further improves prediction under both semantic and richer visual representations. Overall, our findings highlight the importance of incorporating human perceptual processes into urban scene understanding and open a direction for gaze-guided multimodal urban computing.

Pose-Aware Diffusion for 3D Generation

Generating pose-aligned 3D objects is challenging due to the spatial mismatches and transformation ambiguities inherent in decoupled canonical-then-rotate paradigms. To this end, we introduce Pose-Aware Diffusion (PAD), a novel end-to-end diffusion framework that synthesizes 3D geometry directly within the observation space. By unprojecting monocular depth into a partial point cloud and explicitly injecting it as a 3D geometric anchor, PAD abandons canonical assumptions to enforce rigorous spatial supervision. This native generation intrinsically resolves pose ambiguity, producing high-fidelity pose-aligned assets. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PAD achieves superior geometric alignment and image-to-3D correspondence compared to state-of-the-art methods. Additionally, PAD naturally extends to compositional 3D scene reconstruction via a simple union of independently generated objects, highlighting its robust ability to preserve precise spatial layouts.

HERMES++: Toward a Unified Driving World Model for 3D Scene Understanding and Generation

Driving world models serve as a pivotal technology for autonomous driving by simulating environmental dynamics. However, existing approaches predominantly focus on future scene generation, often overlooking comprehensive 3D scene understanding. Conversely, while Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate impressive reasoning capabilities, they lack the capacity to predict future geometric evolution, creating a significant disparity between semantic interpretation and physical simulation. To bridge this gap, we propose HERMES++, a unified driving world model that integrates 3D scene understanding and future geometry prediction within a single framework. Our approach addresses the distinct requirements of these tasks through synergistic designs. First, a BEV representation consolidates multi-view spatial information into a structure compatible with LLMs. Second, we introduce LLM-enhanced world queries to facilitate knowledge transfer from the understanding branch. Third, a Current-to-Future Link is designed to bridge the temporal gap, conditioning geometric evolution on semantic context. Finally, to enforce structural integrity, we employ a Joint Geometric Optimization strategy that integrates explicit geometric constraints with implicit latent regularization to align internal representations with geometry-aware priors. Extensive evaluations on multiple benchmarks validate the effectiveness of our method. HERMES++ achieves strong performance, outperforming specialist approaches in both future point cloud prediction and 3D scene understanding tasks. The model and code will be publicly released at https://github.com/H-EmbodVis/HERMESV2.

Generalizable Sparse-View 3D Reconstruction from Unconstrained Images

Reconstructing 3D scenes from sparse, unposed images remains challenging under real-world conditions with varying illumination and transient occlusions. Existing methods rely on scene-specific optimization using appearance embeddings or dynamic masks, which requires extensive per-scene training and fails under sparse views. Moreover, evaluations on limited scenes raise questions about generalization. We present GenWildSplat, a feed-forward framework for sparse-view outdoor reconstruction that requires no per-scene optimization. Given unposed internet images, GenWildSplat predicts depth, camera parameters, and 3D Gaussians in a canonical space using learned geometric priors. An appearance adapter modulates appearance for target lighting conditions, while semantic segmentation handles transient objects. Through curriculum learning on synthetic and real data, GenWildSplat generalizes across diverse illumination and occlusion patterns. Evaluations on PhotoTourism and MegaScenes benchmark demonstrate state-of-the-art feed-forward rendering quality, achieving real-time inference without test-time optimization

MeshReGen: A Unified 3D Geometry Regeneration Framework

We consider the problem of regenerating 3D objects from 2D images and initial 3D shapes. Most 3D generators operate in a one-shot fashion, converting text or images to a 3D object with limited controllability. We introduce instead MeshReGen, a 3D regenerator that is conditioned on an initial 3D shape. This conceptually simple formulation allows us to support numerous useful tasks, including 3D enhancement, reconstruction, and editing. MeshReGen uses a new conditioning mechanism based on VecSet, which allows the regenerator to update or improve the input geometry with consistent fine-grained details. MeshReGen learns a widely applicable regeneration prior from off-the-shelf 3D datasets via self-supervised pretext tasks and augmentations, without additional annotations. We evaluate both the geometric consistency and fine-grained quality of MeshReGen, achieving state-of-the-art performance in controllable 3D generation across several tasks.

GSDrive: Reinforcing Driving Policies by Multi-mode Future Trajectory Probing with 3D Gaussian Splatting Environment

End-to-end (E2E) autonomous driving aims to directly map sensory observations to driving actions, but its real-world deployment is hindered by evolving data distributions and the high cost of continual annotation. While combining imitation learning (IL) and reinforcement learning (RL) is a common strategy for policy improvement, conventional RL training relies on delayed, event-based rewards, where policies learn only from catastrophic outcomes such as collisions, leading to premature convergence to suboptimal behaviors. To address these limitations, we propose GSDrive, a framework that uses a differentiable 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) environment for future-aware trajectory probing and reward shaping in E2E driving. GSDrive first learns a multi-mode trajectory probe via IL and then uses RL to evaluate multiple candidate futures in the 3DGS environment, converting their simulated returns into dense shaping rewards for policy optimization. This yields a cyclic hybrid IL-RL training loop, where IL supplies structured future priors and RL provides interactive feedback for iterative refinement. Evaluated on the reconstructed nuScenes dataset, our method outperforms other simulation-based RL approaches in closed-loop experiments. Code is available at https://github.com/ZionGo6/GSDrive.

SpatialGrammar: A Domain-Specific Language for LLM-Based 3D Indoor Scene Generation

Automatically generating interactive 3D indoor scenes from natural language is crucial for virtual reality, gaming, and embodied AI. However, existing LLM-based approaches often suffer from spatial errors and collisions, in part because common scene representations-raw coordinates or verbose code-are difficult for models to reason about 3D spatial relationships and physical constraints. We propose SpatialGrammar, a domain-specific language that represents gravity-aligned indoor layouts as BEV grid placements with deterministic compilation to valid 3D geometry, enabling verifiable constraint checking. Building on this representation, we develop (1) SG-Agent, a closed-loop system that uses compiler feedback to iteratively refine scenes and enforce collision constraints, and (2) SG-Mini, a 104M-parameter model trained entirely on compiler-validated synthetic data. Across 159 test scenes spanning five scenarios of different complexity, SG-Agent improves spatial fidelity and physical plausibility over prior methods, while SG-Mini performs competitively against larger LLM-based baselines on single-shot generation scenarios.

REVIVE 3D: Refinement via Encoded Voluminous Inflated prior for Volume Enhancement

Recent generative models have shown strong performance in generating diverse 3D assets from 2D images, a fundamental research topic in computer vision and graphics. However, these models still struggle to generate voluminous 3D assets when the input is a flat image that provides limited 3D cues. We introduce REVIVE 3D, a two-stage, plug-and-play pipeline for generating voluminous 3D assets from flat images. In Stage 1, we construct an Inflated Prior by inflating the foreground silhouette to recover global volume and superimposing part-aware details to capture local structure. In Stage 2, 3D Latent Refinement injects Gaussian noise into the Inflated Prior's latent and then denoises it, using the prior's geometric cues to leverage the backbone's pretrained 3D knowledge. Furthermore, our framework supports image-conditioned 3D editing. To quantify volume and surface flatness, we propose Compactness and Normal Anisotropy. We validate Compactness and Normal Anisotropy through a user study, showing that these metrics align with human perception of volume and quality. We show that REVIVE 3D achieves state-of-the-art performance on a challenging flat image dataset, based on extensive qualitative and quantitative evaluations.

Difix3D-W: Distractor-Free Few-Shot 3D Gaussian Splatting in the Wild

We propose Difix3D-W, a 3D novel sparse-view synthesis framework for unconstrained real-world scenarios that contain distractors, occlusion, and appearance variation. Unlike existing methods that primarily perform novel-view synthesis from a sparse set of constrained images without transient elements or leverage unconstrained dense image collections in real-world scenarios, our method utilize sparse unconstrained images, showing high-quality 3D rendering results. To do this, we introduce reference-guided view refinement with a redesigned one-step diffusion model using a transient mask and a reference image to mitigate artifacts in rendered views, enhancing the 3D representation in the Gaussian field. Furthermore, we address sparse regions in the Gaussian field leveraging sparsity-aware Gaussian replication strategy to amplify Gaussians in the sparse regions and alleviate deficient camera viewpoint issues. Finally, we utilize LoRA and regularization to maintain 3D multi-view consistency. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method consistently outperforms existing methods. This advancement paves the way for realizing real-world scenarios without labor-intensive data acquisition.

MesonGS++: Post-training Compression of 3D Gaussian Splatting with Hyperparameter Searching

3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) achieves high-quality novel view synthesis with real-time rendering, but its storage cost remains prohibitive for practical deployment. Existing post-training compression methods still rely on many coupled hyperparameters across pruning, transformation, quantization, and entropy coding, making it difficult to control the final compressed size and fully exploit the rate-distortion trade-off. We propose MesonGS++, a size-aware post-training codec for 3D Gaussian compression. On the codec side, MesonGS++ combines joint importance-based pruning, octree geometry coding, attribute transformation, selective vector quantization for higher-degree spherical harmonics, and group-wise mixed-precision quantization with entropy coding. On the configuration side, it treats the reserve ratio and bit-width allocation as the dominant rate-distortion knobs and jointly optimizes them under a target storage budget via discrete sampling and 0--1 integer linear programming. We further propose a linear size estimator and a CUDA parallel quantization operator to accelerate the hyperparameter searching process. Extensive experiments show that MesonGS++ achieves over 34×\times compression while preserving rendering fidelity, outperforming state-of-the-art post-training methods and accurately meeting target size budgets. Remarkably, without any training, MesonGS++ can even surpass the PSNR of vanilla 3DGS at a 20×\times compression rate on the Stump scene. SAMamba3D: adapting Segment Anything for generalizable 3D segmentation of multiphase pore-scale images

Reliable segmentation of multiphase pore-scale X-ray images of rocks is necessary to quantify fluid saturation, connectivity, and interfacial geometry. However, current 3D segmentation methods are typically dataset-specific, requiring retraining or extensive fine-tuning whenever rock type, fluid pattern, scanner, or acquisition conditions change. Foundation models such as the Segment Anything Model (SAM) provide strong 2D boundary priors, but they are not directly applicable to 3D data. We present SAMamba3D, a parameter-efficient framework that adapts a largely frozen SAM encoder to generalizable 3D pore-scale segmentation by coupling it with Mamba-based volumetric context modeling and progressive cross-scale feature interaction. For sandstone and carbonate datasets, with different fluids, wettability, and scanning conditions, SAMamba3D matches or outperforms current 3D baselines while reducing the need for case-specific retraining. The resulting segmented images preserve physically meaningful descriptors, including fluid saturation, connectivity, and interface morphology, enabling more reliable and rapid analysis of large 3D multiphase images.

SnapPose3D: Diffusion-Based Single-Frame 2D-to-3D Lifting of Human Poses

Depth ambiguity and joint uncertainty are the two main obstacles in obtaining accurate human pose predictions by 2D-to-3D lifting methods proposed in the literature. In particular, these issues are caused by 2D joint locations that can be mapped to multiple 3D positions, inducing multiple possible final poses. Following these considerations, we propose leveraging diffusion-based models generation capability to predict multiple hypotheses and aggregate them in a final accurate pose. Therefore, we introduce SnapPose3D, a pose-lifting framework trained deterministically to denoise 3D poses conditioned on both visual context and 2D pose features. SnapPose3D adopts a probabilistic approach during inference, generating multiple hypotheses through random sampling from a unit Gaussian distribution. Unlike most previous methods that address pose ambiguity by processing temporal sequences, SnapPose3D uses single frames as input, avoiding tracking and limiting computational cost, data acquisition complexity, and the need for online, real-time applications. We extensively evaluate SnapPose3D on well-known benchmarks for the 3D human pose estimation task showing its ability to generate and aggregate accurate hypotheses that lead to state-of-the-art results.

3D-LENS: A 3D Lifting-based Elevated Novel-view Synthesis method for Single-View Aerial-Ground Re-Identification

Aerial-Ground Re-Identification (AG-ReID) is constrained by the viewpoint-domain gap, as drastic viewpoint disparities occlude or distort discriminative features, making cross-viewpoint image retrieval challenging. While existing methods rely on paired cross-view annotations, real-world deployments, such as wilderness search-and-rescue (SAR), often lack target-domain data, requiring retrieval from ground-level references alone. To our knowledge, we are the first to address this challenge by formalizing the Single-View AG-ReID (SV AG-ReID) setting, where models trained on a single real viewpoint must generalize to an unseen viewpoint. We propose 3D Lifting-based Elevated Novel-view Synthesis (3D-LENS), a unified framework combining geometrically-consistent novel view synthesis that leverages large-scale 3D mesh reconstruction, with a robust representation learning scheme to mitigate synthetic-to-real bias. Unlike 2D generative baselines that suffer from geometric inconsistencies or prior 3D methods that are restricted to class-specific templates, our approach ensures view-consistent synthesis across diverse categories without predefined templates that fail to capture fine-grained details, such as carried objects. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves state-of-the-art performance on SV AG-ReID scenarios. Code and data will be released at https://github.com/TurtleSmoke/3D-LENS.

Last-Layer-Centric Feature Recombination: Unleashing 3D Geometric Knowledge in DINOv3 for Monocular Depth Estimation

Monocular depth estimation (MDE) is a fundamental yet inherently ill-posed task. Recent vision foundation models (VFMs), particularly DINO-based transformers, have significantly improved accuracy and generalization for dense prediction. Prior works generally follow a unified paradigm: sampling a fixed set of intermediate transformer layers at uniform intervals to build multi-scale features. This common practice implicitly assumes that geometric information is uniformly distributed across layers, which may underutilize the structural 3D cues encoded in VFMs. In this study, we present a systematic layer-wise analysis of DINOv3, revealing that 3D information is distributed non-uniformly: deeper layers exhibit stronger depth predictability and better capture inter-sample geometric variation. Motivated by this, we introduce a Last-Layer-Centric Feature Recombination (LFR) module to enhance geometric expressiveness. LFR treats the final layer as a geometric anchor and adaptively selects complementary intermediate layers according to a minimal-similarity criterion. Selected features are fused with the last-layer representation via compact linear adapters.Extensive experiments show that LFR module consistently improves MDE accuracy and achieves state-of-the-art performance. Our analysis sheds light on how geometric knowledge is organized within VFMs and offers an efficient strategy for unlocking their potential in dense 3D tasks.

Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Mapping for INGENIOUS First Responders

In several applications it is desired to have 3D models not only from the outdoor spaces but also from inside the building. In the context of First Responder enhancement in large scale natural and man-made disasters, a method is presented to achieve this goal with a high degree of automation. Therefore an autonomously flying aerial mapping system is combined with a person-carried indoor positioning system. Automatically recognized markers (AprilTags) are geo-referenced by the aerial system and their coordinates are sent to the ground-based system. By looking at the AprilTags before entering the building, the ground-based system is registered to world coordinates. Without the further need of any global positioning, it creates a point cloud from the indoor spaces that fits with the point could from the aerial view. This allows a co-visualization of both point-clouds as a seamless indoor-outdoor 3D model in real time.

SpatialFusion: Endowing Unified Image Generation with Intrinsic 3D Geometric Awareness

Recent unified image generation models have achieved remarkable success by employing MLLMs for semantic understanding and diffusion backbones for image generation. However, these models remain fundamentally limited in spatially-aware tasks due to a lack of intrinsic spatial understanding and the absence of explicit geometric guidance during generation. In this paper, we propose SpatialFusion, a novel framework that internalizes 3D geometric awareness into unified image generation models. Specifically, we first employ a Mixture-of-Transformers (MoT) architecture to augment the MLLM with a parallel spatial transformer to enhance 3D geometric modeling capability. By sharing self-attention with the MLLM, the spatial transformer learns to derive metric-depth maps of target images from rich semantic contexts. These explicit geometric scaffolds are then injected into the diffusion backbone through a specialized depth adapter, providing precise spatial constraints for spatially-coherent image generation. Through a progressive two-stage training strategy, SpatialFusion significantly enhances performance on spatially-aware benchmarks, notably outperforming leading models such as GPT-4o. Additionally, it achieves generalized performance gains across both text-to-image generation and image editing scenarios, all while maintaining negligible inference overhead.

Multiple Consistent 2D-3D Mappings for Robust Zero-Shot 3D Visual Grounding

Zero-shot 3D Visual Grounding (3DVG) is a critical capability for open-world embodied AI. However, existing methods are fundamentally bottlenecked by the poor quality of open-vocabulary 3D proposals, suffering from inaccurate categories and imprecise geometries, as well as the spatial redundancy of exhaustive multi-view reasoning. To address these challenges, we propose MCM-VG, a novel framework that achieves robust zero-shot 3DVG by explicitly establishing Multiple Consistent 2D-3D Mappings. Instead of passively relying on noisy 3D segments, MCM-VG enforces 2D-3D consistency across three fundamental dimensions to achieve precise target localization and reliable reasoning. First, a Semantic Alignment module corrects category mismatches via LLM-driven query parsing and coarse-to-fine 2D-3D matching. Second, an Instance Rectification module leverages VLM-guided 2D segmentations to reconstruct missing targets, back-projecting these reliable visual priors to establish accurate 3D geometries. Finally, to eliminate spatial redundancy, a Viewpoint Distillation module clusters 3D camera directions to extract optimal frames. By pairing these optimal RGB frames with Bird's Eye View maps into concise visual prompt sets, we formulate the final target disambiguation as a multiple-choice reasoning task for Vision-Language Models. Extensive evaluations on ScanRefer and Nr3D benchmarks demonstrate that MCM-VG sets a new state-of-the-art for zero-shot 3D visual grounding. Remarkably, it achieves 62.0% and 53.6% in Acc@0.25 and Acc@0.5 on ScanRefer, outperforming previous baselines by substantial margins of 6.4% and 4.0%.

Sketch2Arti: Sketch-based Articulation Modeling of CAD Objects

Articulation modeling aims to infer movable parts and their motion parameters for a 3D object, enabling interactive animation, simulation, and shape editing. In this paper, we present Sketch2Arti, the first sketch-based articulation modeling system for CAD objects. Our key observation is that designers naturally communicate articulation intent through lightweight sketches (e.g., arrows and strokes) that indicate how parts should move, yet translating such sketches into articulated 3D models remains largely manual. Sketch2Arti bridges this gap by enabling users to specify articulation through simple 2D sketches drawn from a chosen viewpoint. Given a CAD model and user sketches, our approach automatically discovers the corresponding movable parts and predicts their motion parameters, allowing iterative modeling of multiple articulations on complex objects with fine-grained control. Importantly, Sketch2Arti is trained in a category-agnostic manner without requiring object category information, leading to strong generalization to diverse objects beyond existing articulation datasets. Moreover, for shell models lacking interior structures, Sketch2Arti supports controllable internal completion guided by user sketches, generating plausible internal components consistent with the existing geometry and predicted motion constraints. Comprehensive experiments and user evaluations demonstrate the effectiveness, controllability, and generalization of Sketch2Arti. PhyloSDF: Phylogenetically-Conditioned Neural Generation of 3D Skull Morphology via Residual Flow Matching

Generating novel, biologically plausible three-dimensional morphological structures is a fundamental challenge in computational evolutionary biology, hampered by extreme data scarcity and the requirement that generated shapes respect phylogenetic relationships among species. In this work, we present PhyloSDF, a phylogenetically-conditioned neural generative model for 3D biological morphology that integrates two innovations: (1) a DeepSDF auto-decoder regularized by a novel Phylogenetic Consistency Loss that structures the latent space to correlate with evolutionary distances (Pearson r=0.993); (2) a Residual Conditional Flow Matching (Residual CFM) architecture that factorizes generation into analytic species-centroid lookup and learned residual prediction, enabling generation from as few as ~4 specimens per species. We evaluate PhyloSDF on 100 micro-CT-scanned skulls of Darwin's Finches and their relatives across 24 species. The model generates novel meshes achieving 88-129% of real intra-species variation at the code level, with all 180 generated meshes verified as non-memorized. Residual CFM surpasses denoising diffusion (which fails entirely at this scale), standard flow matching (which mode-collapses to 3-6% variation), and a Gaussian mixture baseline in both fidelity (Chamfer Distance 0.00181 vs. 0.00190) and morphometric Fréchet distance (10,641 vs. 13,322). Leave-one-species-out experiments across 18 species demonstrate phylogenetic extrapolation capability, and smooth latent interpolations produce biologically plausible ancestral skull reconstructions.

DenseScout: Algorithm-System Co-design for Budgeted Tiny Object Selection on Edge Platforms

Deploying tiny object perception on edge platforms is challenging because practical systems must satisfy both strict compute budgets and end-to-end latency constraints. A common strategy is to first select a small number of candidate patches from a high-resolution image and then apply downstream processing only to the selected regions. However, existing detector-based frontends are not well aligned with this setting: strong offline detection accuracy does not necessarily yield effective low-budget patch prioritization, nor does it guarantee usable performance once transport and inference delays are considered. In this work, we study budgeted tiny object selection on edge platforms from a joint algorithm--system perspective. We present DenseScout, a lightweight dense-response selector with only 1.01M parameters, which directly ranks candidate patch locations from a high-resolution scene via a lightweight proxy input and is better aligned with low-budget tiny-object prioritization than detector-style frontends. To bridge offline selector quality and deployable utility, we further develop a transport-aware runtime realization on heterogeneous edge devices and adopt QoS-constrained recall, which counts a target as successfully perceived only if it is covered by the selected regions and the end-to-end processing finishes before the deadline. Experiments show that DenseScout consistently outperforms detector-based baselines in offline budgeted patch-selection evaluation, especially in low-budget regimes, while cross-platform results on RK3588 and Jetson Orin NX show that deployable performance depends jointly on selector quality and runtime realization efficiency. These results suggest that edge tiny object perception should be optimized as an algorithm--system co-design problem rather than as isolated model selection.

BifDet: A 3D Bifurcation Detection Dataset for Airway-Tree Modeling

Thoracic Computed Tomography (CT) scans offer detailed insights into the intricate branching network of the airway tree, which is essential for understanding various respiratory diseases. Airway bifurcations, where airway branches split, are crucial landmarks for understanding lung physiology, disease mechanisms and lesion localization. Despite the significance of bifurcation analysis, a notable lack of datasets annotated for this task hinders the development of advanced automated specialized detection or segmentation tools. In this paper, we introduce BifDet, the first publicly-available dataset specialized for 3D airway bifurcation detection, filling a critical gap in existing resources. Our dataset comprises carefully annotated CT scans from the ATM22 open-access cohort with bifurcation bounding boxes covering the parent and daughter branches. World-R1: Reinforcing 3D Constraints for Text-to-Video Generation

Recent video foundation models demonstrate impressive visual synthesis but frequently suffer from geometric inconsistencies. While existing methods attempt to inject 3D priors via architectural modifications, they often incur high computational costs and limit scalability. We propose World-R1, a framework that aligns video generation with 3D constraints through reinforcement learning. To facilitate this alignment, we introduce a specialized pure text dataset tailored for world simulation. Utilizing Flow-GRPO, we optimize the model using feedback from pre-trained 3D foundation models and vision-language models to enforce structural coherence without altering the underlying architecture. We further employ a periodic decoupled training strategy to balance rigid geometric consistency with dynamic scene fluidity. Extensive evaluations reveal that our approach significantly enhances 3D consistency while preserving the original visual quality of the foundation model, effectively bridging the gap between video generation and scalable world simulation.

WildLIFT: Lifting monocular drone video to 3D for species-agnostic wildlife monitoring

Monocular RGB cameras mounted on drones are widely used for wildlife monitoring, yet most analytical pipelines remain confined to two-dimensional image space, leaving geometric information in video underexploited. We present WildLIFT, a computational framework that integrates three-dimensional scene geometry from monocular drone video with open-vocabulary 2D instance segmentation to enable species-agnostic 3D detection and tracking. We validate the framework on 2,581 manually curated frames comprising over 6,700 3D detections across four large mammal species. WildLIFT maintains high identity consistency in multi-animal scenes and substantially reduces manual 3D annotation effort through keyframe-based refinement. Zero-to-CAD: Agentic Synthesis of Interpretable CAD Programs at Million-Scale Without Real Data

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models are defined by their construction history: a parametric recipe that encodes design intent. However, existing large-scale 3D datasets predominantly consist of boundary representations (B-Reps) or meshes, stripping away this critical procedural information. To address this scarcity, we introduce Zero-to-CAD, a scalable framework for synthesizing executable CAD construction sequences. We frame synthesis as an agentic search problem: by embedding a large language model (LLM) within a feedback-driven CAD environment, our system iteratively generates, executes, and validates code using tools and documentation lookup to promote geometric validity and operation diversity. This agentic approach enables the synthesis of approximately one million executable, readable, editable CAD sequences, covering a rich vocabulary of operations beyond sketch-and-extrude workflows. We also release a curated subset of 100,000 high-quality models selected for geometric diversity. To demonstrate the dataset's utility, we fine-tune a vision-language model on our synthetic data to reconstruct editable CAD programs from multi-view images, outperforming strong baselines, including GPT-5.2, and effectively bootstrapping sequence generation capabilities without real construction-history training data. Zero-to-CAD bridges the gap between geometric scale and parametric interpretability, offering a vital resource for the next generation of CAD AI.

BIMStruct3D: A Fully Automated Hybrid Learning Scan-to-BIM Pipeline with Integrated Topology Refinement

Automatic generation of Building Information Models (BIM) from building scans is a key challenge in architecture and construction. We present a modular pipeline for generating IFC-compliant BIM from 3D point clouds. The hybrid approach combines learning-based semantic segmentation with topology-aware geometric reconstruction to model structural elements accurately. We propose vIoU, adapting voxel-based overlap evaluation to Scan-to-BIM by enabling holistic, instance-matching-free comparison of reconstructed and ground-truth models. We release the German Hospital dataset (DeKH), including high-resolution point clouds, ground truth BIMs, and semantic annotations. Experiments on DeKH and CV4AEC datasets show significant improvements over a RANSAC-based baseline, demonstrating robustness and scalability.

PointTransformerX: Portable and Efficient 3D Point Cloud Processing without Sparse Algorithms

3D point cloud perception remains tightly coupled to custom CUDA operators for spatial operations, limiting portability and efficiency on non-NVIDIA, AMD, and embedded hardware. We introduce PointTransformerX (PTX), a fully PyTorch-native vision transformer backbone for 3D point clouds, removing all custom CUDA operators and external libraries while retaining competitive accuracy. PTX introduces 3D-GS-RoPE, a rotary positional embedding that encodes 3D spatial relationships directly in self-attention without neighborhood construction, and further replaces sparse convolutional patch embedding with a linear projection. PTX explores inference-time scaling of attention windows to improve accuracy without retraining. With a redesigned feed-forward network, PTX achieves 98.7% of PointTransformer V3's accuracy on ScanNet with 79.2% fewer parameters and executing 1.6\times faster while requiring just 253 MB memory. PTX runs natively on NVIDIA GPUs, AMD GPUs (ROCm), and CPUs, providing an efficient and portable foundation for point cloud perception.

Learning to Identify Out-of-Distribution Objects for 3D LiDAR Anomaly Segmentation

Understanding the surrounding environment is fundamental in autonomous driving and robotic perception. Distinguishing between known classes and previously unseen objects is crucial in real-world environments, as done in Anomaly Segmentation. However, research in the 3D field remains limited, with most existing approaches applying post-processing techniques from 2D vision. To cover this lack, we propose a new efficient approach that directly operates in the feature space, modeling the feature distribution of inlier classes to constrain anomalous samples. Moreover, the only publicly available 3D LiDAR anomaly segmentation dataset contains simple scenarios, with few anomaly instances, and exhibits a severe domain gap due to its sensor resolution. To bridge this gap, we introduce a set of mixed real-synthetic datasets for 3D LiDAR anomaly segmentation, built upon established semantic segmentation benchmarks, with multiple out-of-distribution objects and diverse, complex environments. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach achieves state-of-the-art and competitive results on the existing real-world dataset and the newly introduced mixed datasets, respectively, validating the effectiveness of our method and the utility of the proposed datasets. Spatiotemporal Degradation-Aware 3D Gaussian Splatting for Realistic Underwater Scene Reconstruction

Reconstructing realistic underwater scenes from underwater video remains a meaningful yet challenging task in the multimedia domain. The inherent spatiotemporal degradations in underwater imaging, including caustics, flickering, attenuation, and backscattering, frequently result in inaccurate geometry and appearance in existing 3D reconstruction methods. While a few recent works have explored underwater degradation-aware reconstruction, they often address either spatial or temporal degradation alone, falling short in more real-world underwater scenarios where both types of degradation occur. We propose MarineSTD-GS, a novel 3D Gaussian Splatting-based framework that explicitly models both temporal and spatial degradations for realistic underwater scene reconstruction. Specifically, we introduce two paired Gaussian primitives: Intrinsic Gaussians represent the true scene, while Degraded Gaussians render the degraded observations. The color of each Degraded Gaussian is physically derived from its paired Intrinsic Gaussian via a Spatiotemporal Degradation Modeling (SDM) module, enabling self-supervised disentanglement of realistic appearance from degraded images. To ensure stable training and accurate geometry, we further propose a Depth-Guided Geometry Loss and a Multi-Stage Optimization strategy. We also construct a simulated benchmark with diverse spatial and temporal degradations and ground-truth appearances for comprehensive evaluation. Experiments on both simulated and real-world datasets show that MarineSTD-GS robustly handles spatiotemporal degradations and outperforms existing methods in novel view synthesis with realistic, water-free scene appearances.

AmaraSpatial-10K: A Spatially and Semantically Aligned 3D Dataset for Spatial Computing and Embodied AI

Web-scale 3D asset collections are abundant but rarely deployment-ready, suffering from arbitrary metric scaling, incorrect pivots, brittle geometry, and incomplete textures, defects that limit their use in embodied AI, robotics, and spatial computing. We present AmaraSpatial-10K, a dataset of over 10,000 synthetic 3D assets optimised for zero-shot deployment. Each asset ships as a metric-scaled, deterministically anchored .glb with separated PBR maps, a convex collision hull, a paired reference image, and multi-sentence text metadata. Alongside the dataset we introduce a reusable evaluation suite for 3D asset banks, a continuous Scale Plausibility Score (SPS), an LLM Concept Density metric, anchor-error auditing, and a cross-modal CLIP coherence protocol, and apply it to AmaraSpatial-10K alongside matched subsets of Objaverse, HSSD, ABO, and GSO. AmaraSpatial-10K improves CLIP Recall@5 by 3.4×3.4\times over Objaverse (0.6120.612 vs. 0.1810.181, median rank 267→3267 \rightarrow 3), achieves a 99.1%99.1\% physics-stability rate under Habitat-Sim with ∼20×\sim 20\times wall-time speed-up, and produces zero-overlap scenes when used as a drop-in asset bank for Holodeck. Controlled ablations on the same asset bank attribute the retrieval gain to description richness.

Long-tail Internet photo reconstruction

Internet photo collections exhibit an extremely long-tailed distribution: a few famous landmarks are densely photographed and easily reconstructed in 3D, while most real-world sites are represented with sparse, noisy, uneven imagery beyond the capabilities of both classical and learned 3D methods. We believe that tackling this long-tail regime represents one of the next frontiers for 3D foundation models. Although reliable ground-truth 3D supervision from sparse scenes is challenging to acquire, we observe that it can be effectively simulated by sampling sparse subsets from well-reconstructed Internet landmarks. To this end, we introduce MegaDepth-X, a large dataset of 3D reconstructions with clean, dense depth, together with a strategy for sampling sets of training images that mimic camera distributions in long-tail scenes. Finetuning 3D foundation models with these components yields robust reconstructions under extreme sparsity, and also enables more reliable reconstruction in symmetric and repetitive scenes, while preserving generalization to standard, dense 3D benchmark datasets.

SS3D: End2End Self-Supervised 3D from Web Videos

We present SS3D, a web-scale SfM-based self-supervision pretraining pipeline for feed-forward 3D estimation from monocular video. Our model jointly predicts depth, ego-motion, and intrinsics in a single forward pass and is trained/evaluated as a coherent end-to-end 3D estimator. To stabilize joint learning, we use an intrinsics-first two-stage schedule and a unified single-checkpoint evaluation protocol. Scaling SfM self-supervision to unconstrained web video is challenging due to weak multi-view observability and strong corpus heterogeneity; we address these with a multi-view signal proxy (MVS) used for filtering and curriculum sampling, and with expert training distilled into a single student. Pretraining on YouTube-8M (~100M frames after filtering) yields strong cross-domain zero-shot transfer and improved fine-tuning performance over prior self-supervised baselines. We release the pretrained checkpoint and code.

PASR: Pose-Aware 3D Shape Retrieval from Occluded Single Views

Single-view 3D shape retrieval is a fundamental yet challenging task that is increasingly important with the growth of available 3D data. Existing approaches largely fall into two categories: those using contrastive learning to map point cloud features into existing vision-language spaces and those that learn a common embedding space for 2D images and 3D shapes. However, these feed-forward, holistic alignments are often difficult to interpret, which in turn limits their robustness and generalization to real-world applications. To address this problem, we propose Pose-Aware 3D Shape Retrieval (PASR), a framework that formulates retrieval as a feature-level analysis-by-synthesis problem by distilling knowledge from a 2D foundation model (DINOv3) into a 3D encoder. By aligning pose-conditioned 3D projections with 2D feature maps, our method bridges the gap between real-world images and synthetic meshes. During inference, PASR performs a test-time optimization via analysis-by-synthesis, jointly searching for the shape and pose that best reconstruct the patch-level feature map of the input image. This synthesis-based optimization is inherently robust to partial occlusion and sensitive to fine-grained geometric details. PASR substantially outperforms existing methods on both clean and occluded 3D shape retrieval datasets by a wide margin. Additionally, PASR demonstrates strong multi-task capabilities, achieving robust shape retrieval, competitive pose estimation, and accurate category classification within a single framework.

A Non-Invasive Alternative to RFID: Self-Sufficient 3D Identification of Group-Housed Livestock

Accurate identification of individual farm animals in group-housed environments is a cornerstone of precision livestock management. However, current industry standards rely heavily on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) ear tags, which are invasive, prone to loss, and restricted by the spatial limitations of antenna fields. In this paper, we propose a non-intrusive, vision-based identification system leveraging 3D point cloud data captured within a commercial electronic feeding station (EFS). Departing from traditional supervised frame-level inference, we introduce the Temporal Adaptive Recognition Architecture (TARA), a self-sufficient, semi-supervised framework designed to maintain identity consistency over time. TARA employs a dynamic recalibration mechanism that updates individual identity profiles to account for morphological changes in the livestock. To facilitate training in label-scarce environments, we utilize a visit-level majority voting strategy to generate high-fidelity pseudo-labels from raw temporal sequences. Experimental results on a group housed sow dataset collected from an operational commercial barn demonstrate that our approach achieves 100% identification accuracy at the visit level. These results suggest that vision-based 3D point cloud analysis offers a robust, superior alternative to RFID-based systems, paving the way for fully autonomous individual animal monitoring.

Holo360D: A Large-Scale Real-World Dataset with Continuous Trajectories for Advancing Panoramic 3D Reconstruction and Beyond

While feed-forward 3D reconstruction models have advanced rapidly, they still exhibit degraded performance on panoramas due to spherical distortions. Moreover, existing panoramic 3D datasets are predominantly collected with 360 cameras fixed at discrete locations, resulting in discontinuous trajectories. These limitations critically hinder the development of panoramic feed-forward 3D reconstruction, especially for the multi-view setting. In this paper, we present Holo360D, a comprehensive dataset containing 109,495 panoramas paired with registered point clouds, meshes, and aligned camera poses. To our knowledge, Holo360D is the first large-scale dataset that provides continuous panoramic sequences with accurately aligned high-completeness depth maps. The raw data are initially collected using a 3D laser scanner coupled with a 360 camera. Subsequently, the raw data are processed with both online and offline SLAM systems. Furthermore, to enhance the 3D data quality, a post-processing pipeline tailored for the 360 dataset is proposed, including geometry denoising, mesh hole filling, and region-specific remeshing. Finally, we establish a new benchmark by fine-tuning 3D reconstruction models on Holo360D, providing key insights into effective fine-tuning strategies. Our results demonstrate that Holo360D delivers superior training signals and provides a comprehensive benchmark for advancing panoramic 3D reconstruction models. Datasets and Code will be made publicly available.
